The Hunt Highway, front of the What is going on here? I'm the driver out of California. Whoa. This guy, he just pulled right in front of that You're just going to pull right in front of that car and get hit by that white car? Like, would you Did you not think that pulling directly broadside into him and getting hit was a good idea? So, you're the driver of this car? I was trying to tell him that, sir. Yeah, well, you're not the driver. He's He's got his permit. I'm trying to teach him how to drive right now. I I was talking to him about it. Okay. Well, I'm Deputy Slope. I work for the Pinal County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit. The very first thing that drew my attention to you was that you pulled and had to stop in the middle of that intersection, blocking all of the cars, because you were too impatient to wait for that light to turn. I see that. Right? So, you're stopped there. You You're stopped directly in front of me. At a dead stop, the light turns green, and you're blocking all of the northbound traffic on Gary. You're blocking two full lanes of northbound traffic, because you had to push yourself into that intersection. Right? >> Yeah. Okay. Why do you have California license plates and Arizona driver's permit? Uh he just We just got this car. We just brought it over, sir. Okay. So, you're originally from California? Uh no, we've been living here, but we got the car from California from a family member. Okay. See your registration paperwork and proof of insurance for your vehicle. Yeah, I absolutely thought you were going to cause an accident there. Like, that car absolutely has the right of way. Right? Cuz you come up to a T-intersection, you have to yield to them. And that car was coming. You just pulled right out in front of them. Like, I just with absolute blatant disregard for them driving, because you just had to make that left. I am I am shocked at how poor the driving is that I've seen you do in 45 seconds of watching you drive. I have no idea how you got this permit. I have absolutely not one clue. I don't It doesn't make any sense to me. I apologize, sir. That's all right, man. It's some sometimes just just cuz you have a permit, it's kind of like just because you can doesn't mean you should. Right. It's a good example of that. Thanks, I That is such a terrible example of driving. Like, I get it. You got a permit. You got to learn somewhere. But maybe drive around in a parking lot where there's no cars. Or don't stop and block traffic in an entire giant intersection in San Tan Valley, cuz you had to push through on a yellow light. Which, as an instructor, the problem person in the passenger seat probably should have been like, "Hey, stop on this yellow light, because there's nowhere for us to go." But instead, he had to stop. And then he got my attention. And then he drives even more poorly and almost causes a collision. >> [sighs] >> Unbelievable. All right, Skippy. So, normally, I only yell at someone or I write them a ticket. I don't do both. Yeah. And I already yelled at you, right? >> Yeah. I didn't talk about your crazy hair. We just talked about your bad driving. But everything in everything is bad. Okay? Not going to write you a ticket. You have to learn somehow. You probably learned something by being pulled over today, right? Learned that you shouldn't proceed into an intersection until it's clear and you can fully make your turning movement. Learned that you have to yield to vehicles in a T-intersections. You don't pull in front of them and get broadsided, right? All the things that that we're learn Learning a lot. Steep learning curve, right? Not like this. Like like this. Okay. Passenger, be a better teacher. As he's as he's just one after another committing traffic violations in front of me, you should probably at some point you should probably be like, "Hey, man, don't do that." Like, "Hey, don't proceed into this intersection until it's clear." Or, "Hey, don't slam on the brakes." Like, "Hey, probably yield when you come up to this intersection." All the things that you should be teaching as an instructor. Take the role of being instructor seriously, because it's a serious thing, because obviously he's committing traffic violations that are drawing the attention of someone that looks for traffic violations. Right? Fair enough? All right. Is that Is that fair? Yeah. Okay. How old are you? I'm 19. Okay, yeah. You should have your license. Okay. Be a better driver. Right? Watch some videos online about driving. Right? Maybe watch a guy [clears throat] that stops people a lot for traffic violations and then learn from their violations and you don't commit those violations. Is that fair enough? Yeah. All right, man. There we go. Thank you, sir. You got it, guys. All right, smash that like button, guys.
