Is your 30-miles-an-hour in that posted 15-mile-an-hour school zone? So, you're in it at double the speed limit. Um So, may I see your registration paperwork and current proof of insurance? I think your plates are suspended. Well, that's a lot of paperwork. I guarantee you don't need all that paperwork in there. Um no, I don't. This vehicle looks like it's plates are suspended as a result of no current insurance. So, when you don't have insurance MVD sends a letter to the registered owner and says, "Hey, you got to get insurance." When you don't have it, they just suspend your plates. Um then when I come in contact with you and you don't have current proof of insurance, I take your plate and I send it back to MVD which forces you to go to MVD to get a new plate and then you have to show them that you have current insurance. So, it's MVD's way of mandating that you have current insurance. So, we take your plate. So, when I take a plate, I typically just throw it on the floorboard of my passenger side. So, this license plate cover, when you get home, throw that away cuz you can't have it on your car. It's illegal to have anything that covers your license plate. So, we're just going to address everything that we spoke about. Um I got you on laser at 30-miles-an-hour in a posted 15 school zone. So, your first citation is for any speed that's in excess of 15 in the school zone is considered a violation. Obviously, you're double that. Um then you're displaying his plate suspended for financial responsibility and then you don't have any insurance with you right now. No. So, just so you know, you do not have registration for this vehicle. You can't drive cuz you don't have a license plate. Okay? So, it's a Do you understand that? If you continue down the road and someone else stops you They do.
