where's the last time you smoked marijuana uh about two three hours ago about two or three hours ago okay go ahead to the car i've come back into my car have a conversation okay stay right here you guys stay right here okay so you smoke marijuana about two hours ago about three hours ago before do you feel impaired right now i'm good yeah no do you feel impaired at all like do you feel like you shouldn't be driving a vehicle oh no no no i'm good i took a nap and everything and then once the sun went down i'm like let's go get these diapers in dish soap i got a list on my phone okay would you really do some field sobriety test real quick to make sure you're okay to drive yeah okay the one should imagine there's an imaginary straight line right in front of you okay you're gonna keep your legs like this put your arms down by your side so i got uh one more deputy company he's gonna do something he's gonna check your eyes real quick deputy dinner he's a uh traffic uh deputy uh he specializes in uh obviously traffic enforcement dui um so he came over here to kind of do that there's some special tests for uh for marijuana he smells like marijuana he said he smoked about two three hours ago took a nap he's got two kids in the back of his car it's pretty common most people you know with the the legalization marijuana a lot of people nowadays think they can smoke and drive um obviously you can still drive impaired especially when you have little ones in the backseat so we're seeing it a lot more frequently now you know we're taking the kids to substation with father and they're gonna be in a separate room during this uh investigation um they'll be safe and sound and we'll take care of him um and then they'll be released to a separate party do you watch kill people um he could easily got in a crash and we could be dealing with a fatality crash with two children [Music]
