This is the 200th episode. 200th episode of Fridays with Frank. Had a lot of people in my passenger seat, but this is the passenger. Sheriff Teeple's out with me today. He has been elected during the course of Fridays with Frank. We're going to uh, we'll spend the day together. We're going to head out to Casa Grande, one of my favorite areas to work. Um, always get some good speeds. Uh, great places to eat lunch. Community out there is is a big part of the community that we serve here as the Sheriff's Office. Uh, on the outskirts of Casa Grande and obviously part of the voting constituency for the Sheriff, so we're going to go out there and uh, show them some love today. There. Now, now they see us. >> I don't think there is any way >> stop right on the white line. Sorry, I got to step up on this side. You parked on the white line on that other side there. May I see your driver's license, please? >> Yeah. >> All right. Well, I'm Deputy Slope. This is Sheriff Teeple. We >> Is everything all right? >> Well, yeah. Do you have any idea what the speed limit is on this road? >> It's 50. I was right behind the the van, though. I was going their limit. >> Now, that is >> Why did I get pulled over? >> Well, that is very correct. However, you caught up to that van because your speed before you slowed down and caught up to them was 75. I locked you in at 73. And then you caught up to the van that was doing 50. >> That's why you had to brake. >> Yeah, you had to apply your brake when you caught up to them and then you were doing their speed. >> 60. >> You >> I'm so sorry. >> Well, also is 60 more than 50, which is the speed limit. May I see your your registration paperwork and current proof of insurance? So, what do we have a uh, Arizona driver's license and Minnesota license plates? >> Uh, grandparents' car. I'm buying it off of them. >> Okay. >> This is mostly not even mine. I I I don't know where they >> Okay. Take a Take a deep breath. >> [snorts] >> Relax. >> I um >> Take a deep breath. This is not a timed event. You have all the time in the world. Look through everything slowly. >> [laughter] >> I got to be smart. I know I have the insurance on my phone. I don't know where the registration is. >> Okay. That's not a big deal. I'll I'll find it. We'll figure out what it looks like. Okay. >> I don't I don't know. >> Take it Take a deep breath. I'm going to leave you here with the sheriff. I'm going to walk over here. >> No, that was on my other phone. I know it's not. Center cons wife searched that in my You kidding me? >> So, the insurance is the most important thing. So, if they're able to >> there. I I tore it apart. It's not there. I'm sorry. I'm not yelling at you, officer. >> Yeah, I know that. >> You yelling at me doesn't help. Do you do? >> That conversation didn't end pleasantly. >> No, of course it didn't. >> What's your medication? >> to me when I'm upset, huh? That's That's your shirt. >> Awesome. Thank you very much. >> I could kind of hear some yelling. Was she yelling at you or just at life? >> She was actually yelling at the family member that just sent her this card. I I will be honest with you. I I would have not [music] sent you the card if you yelled at me the way she >> Uh I That's why I'm surprised. Like, why would you yell at someone that's doing you a favor? >> The end of the conversation she had with the person that sent her this card, she said, [music] "F you." >> Whoa. >> Yell at me doesn't help anything. And then she hung up the phone. So, I was like, "Well, we're going to do her for the insurance, too." And then 2 seconds later, this um >> Wow. >> She sent it. Hey, this is Sheriff Teeple. Um She's She's a little unresponsive right now. She's having a little >> Jesus. I'm just trying to control my >> Yeah, she's just She's No, she's just trying to control her breathing. So, she's she's She's doing the rescue breathing, you know, 3 seconds in, hold it for 3 seconds, 3 seconds out. Hold the exhale for 3 seconds. >> easy. >> Yeah. >> [laughter] >> Well, thank you for >> get the insurance? I sent it. >> We we did and it I verified it with the VIN, so the insurance is not an issue at all. She's good with that. >> All right. >> I'm I'm >> Uh but >> I'm going to recommend to her that she takes a screenshot of the insurance and that way >> time my phone just broke. I just got a new one the other day. It's brand new. I still have the T-Mobile bag. >> I know. >> Really just on Sunday. >> Can I breathe? >> I can hear you, Grandma. Breathing is not Telling me to breathe is not going to make me breathe. >> I'm not willing you to breathe. I'm just stating. Take your breaths. >> Hey, they drink Vernors in Minnesota? >> What? I >> You guys drink Vernors in Minnesota? >> Oh, is there a ginger ale company? >> Yeah. >> But I got that from my friend. >> I thought that was a Michigan thing. All my family moved out to Arizona. >> Yeah, all my family moved out here from Michigan and >> I'm a kind of a dry person. Not root beer. It's too sweet. That one's too sweet. >> Yeah. I just It's been a while since I've seen a Vernors can in the backseat of a car. I'm sorry. >> Why does he have a camera pointed at my car? I'm not comfortable with that. >> We You're You're You will not be on >> type. Somebody has a shutter camera like Grandpa. >> It's actually a video camera. It actually takes video. It looks like it would be a I always do the same thing cuz it looks like a camera you would take photographs. >> camera. >> Yeah. But it's video. >> So, I've never been PULLED OVER BEFORE. I WOULDN'T KNOW. >> I'm going to give you the phone back and if you want to leave it on speaker, Deputy Swopes got some explaining to do. Like Lucy, you have some explaining to do. All right. Mich- So, your speed that we locked you on radar was 73 mph in a posted 50. That happened right at Maricopa Casa Grande Highway and Anderson Road, which is just right back to the southeast of us. So, the citation is civil in nature. Civil simply means that you just got to take care of some business with the court. So, in here is the driver's license that you gave me, so I'm simply returning that to you. This is your copy. It's the same as mine, so we both have a copy. >> It's not the correct address. I haven't updated my ID. I just got it back in August and I just moved in October. >> Okay. >> had the chance to get the money. >> Yeah, well, it doesn't cost you anything to update it. Just so you know, you just go online and take care of it. >> But they made me pay $5 for that because I had to get it replaced. I I had to get it >> The website there will give you some more information. [laughter] Okay. And how old are you? I'm sorry. My >> I'm 20. >> 20? Okay. That's That's right about there. So, I'm going to give that to you there. And that right there is there. Okay. That's it. Are there any questions that I can answer for you? >> How much is this going to cost? >> You know what? That I don't know because the sheriff's office doesn't deal with money. All of that goes through the court. >> [laughter and crying] >> How am I not supposed to panic? I don't even have money for gas. >> [screaming] >> I don't even know what's going on. >> So, there we go. Much So, is me being here making things better or worse for you? >> I have probably cops this is also all Rubella So, I didn't do anything and I don't have have my >> Okay. If I If I leave you, are you going to be okay here to just settle down? Cuz I don't feel like I should be inducing anxiety, cuz I'm a pretty nice guy. >> Cops assaulted me. >> Okay, well, is has anything remotely like that happen and or or are we just two really nice deputy sheriffs, well, deputy and sheriff? >> officers, it's all that that matters. I only like officer Clements and officer Yellow. >> Okay, well, I'm sorry that I can't be either one of them and I'm sorry by my mail, but I I don't know what to do about that. Um, but if there are no other questions, there's nothing else I can do. Would you rather me just leave you here so you could I could call the fire department if you want them to come here and and take a look at you. Um, I could just leave you here and you can gather yourself, whatever you'd like. I just want to make sure I give you any sort of assistance that I can. Okay. All right, thanks so much. Please slow down. Drive safe. >> I am I am almost without words as to what we just saw right there. Cuz I could hear her yelling while I was in here writing the ticket. >> And and I understand that you're concerned cuz you could hear her yelling, you thought she was yelling at me, but I'm still blown away with the fact that she was screaming at the other person on the phone who was the nicest lady in the entire world. >> nice. >> Yeah, super nice and calling her a the B word and saying F off and saying get me my insurance information and so she I would have thought at that point cuz she hung up on her, I would have thought at that point that person on the other end of the phone is not sending the insurance card, but then they did and then they called back to make sure she was okay, but just a complete lack of life skills there whatsoever. Sheriff Ross here, how are you doing here? How are you doing today? >> I'm good. How are you? >> Good. Can I get your license, registration, insurance, please? Where'd you move from? >> Washington. >> Awesome. Welcome to America. >> [laughter] >> Hey, you're from Washington. >> Yeah, I just moved here not too long ago. >> Welcome to America. >> That's what he said. >> It's my boss. So, so we stopped you for 20 over. It's kind kind of quick. So, I'm going to go check out your Washington license, take care of some paperwork, and I'll be back with you. You got turned around at 70 in a posted 50. Maricopa Casa Grande Highway, which is this road, at Montgomery Road, which is right back there where we made the U-turn in behind you. All right. >> Have you ever watched Fridays with Frank on the internet? >> I was going to say that I saw you on TikTok like a week ago. I'd be like, that's crazy if I ever met him. That would be kind of cool because my >> What was I doing on TikTok? Was I pulling people over that were speeding? See? But, you are here in Pinal County. The Pinal County Sheriff is riding cohort with me today. He's in my co-pilot seat. And yeah, we're out we're out hanging out and and I'm showing them what I do. So, this is this is Fridays with Frank in in real life. So, >> That's hard to believe at 200 episodes. >> 200 episodes. 200 Fridays of out here enforcing Arizona motor vehicle laws. >> If if I'd asked you when I conducted your polygraph when you came to the Sheriff's Office, >> [laughter] >> "Hey, do you think someday you're going to be an internet phenom?" Would you have ever in a million years You'd have You'd have passed that if you said no. >> [laughter] >> Absolutely. Have a talk with him? >> Yeah. >> Cuz where's your plates? >> I'm going to let you have this talk. >> What's up, man? How you doing? >> excited than you. You know that's Sheriff Frank from TikTok. >> Well, I'm Deputy Frank. >> Yes. >> And that's Sheriff Teeple. That is the Pinal County Sheriff's Office. >> right right on. Hey. I That's a lot of gold, man. >> I barely bought the car. >> Okay. >> I I got the title from Milwaukee. >> Okay. >> going to go check out my wife real quick, get some cash, and go back to motor vehicle. >> Okay. >> barely I barely got off the trailer. I got I got videos of it, too. >> Oh, yeah? >> And I can't turn it off cuz it might die out. >> Is that a three on the tree? >> Yes, sir. >> Respect, brother. >> It just barely got off the trailer right now. It's from Milwaukee. >> I'll take that. >> 409? Uh-huh. Yep. Yep. If that snowbird wasn't going to try to run into Frank's car, I was going to come up and tell you the reason we pulled you over is you parked in a handicap spot. What's your name, young lady? So someone put disc brakes up front. These didn't come with disc brakes from the factory. And slotted rotors? Hey, that's And that is actually the style right now. I mean, if I if I own this car, I'd roll some polish on it and then clear coat it. Three on the tree? Plus it's got a 409 in it. It's a kick Yeah. That's a kick-ass mower. Let's see the 409. I'm a car guy. He asked me, he goes He goes, "What is that?" I said it's a '63 or '64 Impala. And then when he's pulling it in here, it's got a three on the tree. Write him anything? >> Heck, no. >> [laughter] >> I appreciate it. Thanks a lot. >> an absolute pleasure. Thank you so much. Dave, it was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you so much. Today is the end of a great day. We had some awesome stops. We met some crazy people, met some great people, had a lot of laughs.
