On July 22nd, 2025, Belmar police were stationed at bar anticipation when a patron was denied entry by security staff. What started as a simple rejection quickly escalated in the parking lot as the man began causing a massive scene and attracting the attention of bystanders. The suspect was charged with defiant trespass, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest after fighting officers all the way to the patrol car. Once placed in a holding cell at Belmar Police Headquarters, he further vandalized the property by urinating on the floor and blowing fluids onto the walls. This resulted in an additional criminal mischief charge and multiple mandatory court appearances.
