On August 20th, 2024, officers responded to a reported shoplifting incident at a local Quick Check convenience store. The suspect was reportedly seen taking several items and leaving the area on foot before police intercepted him nearby. Officers also discovered the individual had an active outstanding warrant from a neighboring jurisdiction. Following the arrest, the suspect was temporarily placed in a holding cell and later evaluated at a local hospital.
