on May 9th 2024 sakaka police were called by Sam's Club Management on a report of a shoplifting incident with one of their employees police alleged the employee was lowering the prices of tires for sale he would then have customers Zell money directly to him for the lower price tires here is what occurred [Music] bu prevention office all the way down right Head Quarters to 39 and 56 how's everything you know I'm recording okay yeah how's everything employee an employee been giv away been giving what a tire away to Who members okay and uh in a consultation money been s to sending money so he give a is tire is Tire can he give away a tire or no okay okay I thought maybe like a plan or something no it's a glory but he's bypassing the policy okay and the benefiting from send him the money okay who's that okay so we don't want to prosecute but we want to have a police you just want to Poli yeah okay where where so he say he only get $2,500 want to how much money is it $2,500 $2,500 that he gave away en Tire yeah and then he he get money back okay and you don't want do you want him to be fired or what we going to fire not today today oh today I want to police okay and you want to sign any charges okay you just want it reported because uh I don't know when we go to call the judge may ask for you can always sign complaints you know a month from now 6 months from now okay a situation where I've already been discussing the basic theft of tires or Pro rating tires for a profitable gain um to cover a debt that was already established within the store um like what dead like your dead or the store n so it' be something I should have confronted the store about we caused damage to a vehicle um and we basically used the tires to cover up that debt by paying the ti money off and responding to optim I'm just trying to understand so you pro rated tires basically giving them for a low rate or discounted price for tip money in order to pay back a debt uh of you damaging someone's vehicle inside here okay all right do you have your license on you some I want to clarify something he said he Dam somebody's vehicle at work here but he did not report he said he using his own money to P the the damage and have other member send him a money to compensate that money that he sent he gave to the C so it's just to understand so basically you damage someone's vehicle now people that are coming in you're giving them a discount on the tires then they'll Zell you whatever the rest of amount is MHM and then after that use the money that you got from them to pay for for the damage for the other vehicle right yeah okay he can can you just explain this to my officer as well yes basically the same situation I damaged the vehicle at work and used us Pro rates and tip money to basically compensate for the damages done at work to another vehic so he basically was selling tires for a cheap price and then the people that bought the tires would sell him personally the rest of the money and then he damaged some much V here at Sam Club while he was working and he's been paying off the guy you saying they don't want e what's your name David David what's your good the store and got 50 zels ahe right so the difference between what the store got in what he made so your net loss is what we need not the total of every single Tire sold okay yeah bet we won't because for that okay so just so pures he doesn't have the total value now lost the net value lost between person tire and what he profited so to get that total do value for the report for purposes of charging also needs we need to have that he's in over um Excel file or whatever just the total net losses and then we can base charging off of that and then you guys can get the report see how much how um how much money you guys lost how much you lost and then if you want to f sign your own complaints at the court we have everything lined up before okay okay yeah but that always take good time
