responding
to a 10-3 call made by the fire
department
a 10-3 means officer in trouble
when officers hear 10-3 on the radio
that means you drop everything that
you're doing
and you respond to the run officers
arrived on scene and spoke to the fire
personnel who were already there
were advised that there was a man named
rodney upstairs
barricaded in the apartment with a knife
who was threatening to stab himself
the officers have dealt with rodney
many times in the past he is known to
suffer from multiple
mental illnesses and also uses
methamphetamine
which is a very dangerous combination
so the video that you're about to see
shows
how the officers responded to this
situation
in my opinion this video is another
example
of how the columbus division of police
is one of the most professional
and best trained police departments in
the country
