get real real quick so $500 in value of
theft or property exceeding $500 and not
exceeding $10,000 in value is a class
three felony penalties for resisting
arrests under Illinois Law convictions
for a class A misdemeanor can result in
imprisonment for up to one year and
fines of up to
$2,500 however if the act of resisting
arrest involves the use of force or the
threat of force against a police officer
it may be classified as a class 4 felony
now here's the big one penalties for
aggravated battery of a peace officer
the conviction carries a mandatory
minimum prison sentence of 4 years and a
possibility of imprisonment for as much
as 15 years a person who has been
convicted of this charge may also face a
fine for up to
$25,000 so she backed up three felonies
for the price of one because all she had
to do is cooperate and she would have
probably been able to convince the judge
to knock it down to a misdemeanor but
yet here we are another Karen arrested
