[Music]
the video for today highlights an
interaction
between a police officer and a man that
he found
passed out behind the wheel in a parking
lot
unfortunately the real story to this
video
is going to demonstrate how the
narrative that is being pushed by a lot
of
activist groups as well as politicians
that makes people believe police
officers are out there
killing black men who are unarmed for no
reason
so in this video you'll see what effect
that has on the man who is the focus of
the investigation
and you'll also see how it affects the
police officer's ability to do their job
with all that being said i hope you
enjoy this video
i hope you learned something and i'll
talk to you soon

going to have to do that kind of stuff
like i trust that this officer is
patient
and you don't have anything but i do not
i do not know
explanativity i'm extremely scared
because the news okay
i know while the gentleman here
may feel like they have do you want to

yeah or maybe you've finished plenty of
time i've been doing this job for a long
time

to put your hands on your cheeks for me
i'm
afraid to do you're afraid to put your
hands on your cheeks like this
yes
okay can you see the tip of my pen here
sir
no yes i want you to just focus on the
tip of my pen please okay
can you not turn that light on he's not
shining your eyes
i know for you guys it seems like a
simple process
but do you under do you want to just
focus on this
on the tip of my pen this is the first
test is there someone with a gun
behind me no it's my cruiser it's a
police cruiser behind you
nobody's in it can you have you ever
been shot
can you focus on the tip on my pad yes i
can have this
okay okay just focus on the tip
no matter where it moves don't move your
head just move the tip
oh just focus on the tip of this pen
okay not your face just your eyes
okay
[Music]
okay we're gonna do that one more time
all right
are you feeling okay i'm feeling fine
i'm
that your feeling scared gonna shoot me
and i feel like the second time
it's because you don't believe that i'm
not gonna shoot you focus on the tip of
this
fan okay
yes sir follow the follow the two
following
the tip because you're wanting me to get
off the track of the chip instead of
just
recognizing that the fact that i'm on
the tip
each time
you've dragged the tip several times to
that point
watch the pen
okay you feeling okay do you have any
problems with your feet
i don't okay well the next step
then the next test you're gonna have to
put your hands down at your sides
okay keep just keep them down at your
sides
next test is called the walk-in turn
i'm going to demonstrate for you what
you're going to do don't start until i
finish the instructions okay
are you comfortable in those shoes okay
the next step is called the walk and
turn tap first thing i want you to do is
put your
left foot in front of your right foot
heel to your toe and just stand like
this
yep stay like that until i'm finished
giving you directions when i tell you to
do so and not until i tell you to do so
you're going to take a series of heel
toe steps counting each one
okay you're gonna go all the way to
nine so
when you begin when i say begin you're
gonna go
one two three and when you get to nine
you're going to take
a series of small small steps either way
i don't care which way you go
facing back to the front
and placing one foot in front of the
other cold it is cold
you understand you're going to stay on
this line while you do it
you have any questions no okay
begin one
two three
four
five
six
seven
eight
nine
11 12
13
14 15
16
[Applause]
18
19 12.
all right you come on back over here all
right
what's your name man can you can you
guide me
you can just just turn around no no i
can you please
guide me there because i don't want to
move there without permission
go ahead and turn around just come back
over here do you have permission to turn
around and walk over there
can i have two guide hands i'm putting
my
me out here okay can i please have two
police officer guide me do you remember
how many steps you're supposed to take
i remember he told me to
14 stops and i stepped
further than that okay how many did you
take
i took 19. okay come on back here but
what i'm asking
is if two police officers can guide me
backwards to where they no you can turn
around and walk forward no
no because if i guide myself
then it seems as though i'm moving
myself but i'm not moving myself i'm
asking if two police officers ready
i'm waiting i'm waiting till two police
officers
go lie to me back to where that spot is
no no no no
i'm not ready because are you going to
continue to do the tests or are you
refusing to take it
no no no i feel like you're refusing by
doing this of course you feel me to
refuse because that would be easier to
shoot you can either turn
what i'm asking
that's not going to get you out of what
you're in right now so you're gonna have
to turn around take the rest of your
tests or not
where would you like me to i want you to
turn around and come back down here
come back over here stand over here in
front of my in front of the cruiser here
for me all right
we got one more test you need to take
all right that's not what i was told
well then finish there's three parts but
that's not what i was told
you know that right what were you
telling me i was told
to take the test i was told to in at the
end of the sidewalk
okay you said at the end of the sidewalk
and i was done
that's what the camera says are you done
you do you want to take the last
standard field surprise test pass
the end of toad walk toe to wall yeah
the last one is called the one legged
stand
do you want to do the one leg at stand i
want to i want to be done
you're done okay there's one more part
to the test okay are you
because i passed okay are you willing to
take the last because
i want to take the last part of this
walk i want to take
i want to be done you're done okay
that's fine you can be done
okay so just go ahead and put your hands
on your back
palms together what's this black thing
on your thumb i
cut my i cut a piece of my thumb bandage
yes

and driving under suspension
you
