On August 2nd, 2024, police responded to the Gucci store where a man put on $3,400 in Gucci merchandise and calmly walked away telling staff he wasn't holding anything. [music] Officers tracked the suspect to a nearby bus stop where he eventually admitted the items were stolen. After asking if returning the gear would let him avoid trouble, he was arrested, charged with shoplifting over $3,400 worth of merchandise, and released with a pending court date.
