individuals were defending each other and began pleading to be released I'll be honest because because you two said you wanted to press charges we had to get him in custody and then she would not let us get him in custody she stood between us I said over a dozen times get out of the way and she would not that is why she's going to jail and then she resisted and is there any way to where she could get something of this orderly cont she was kicking spitting jumping everything all ask the officer if we're going to do that but for for sure she's getting instruction she was not doing we can't argue that with but can we please give her a chance prise bed off the you can't let should have carried through with the charges you said you wanted to do and then this would would be clean but now now now kept running up in our faces when we're trying to get the guy that apparently had the knife she kept stepping between us screaming like this times 50 so we told her if she doesn't leave she'll be the rested for obstruction and it got worse worse so we thought if we get her in C and get her in the car we could Cal her down but it I don't tell you wrong you need to start listening especially to me the last thing I want to do tonight is arrest somebody this is going to take a lot of paperwork and stuff so the night's still young I don't I don't want to hurt anybody I don't want to arrest anybody if she go to jail get out out of I know that's why I to talk to them try to calm her down I know we needed you guys here no that was the that was the time when when it could have we're good they're good they're good reality hits when she realized that she would be the only one ending the night in handcuffs trying to break up B because y'all don't know who trans who not I understand that y'all face and to of that like I'm not I'm not nothing but I did not none of the fights happened because of me I was trying to break them up that that was the thing is like had you just stayed out of it you wouldn't have been arrested at all and actually nobody would have went to in the end she was charged with obstruction and resisting arrest if you thought that was intense just Wai until you hear about Matilda the transgender woman who threatened her own mother your mom was telling me that you know you threat threaten your your mom um and your grandma oh no I didn't threaten anybody my life was threaten threat in the moment I was you know being like look I'm going to cut my hair I'm going to cut my hair and I I don't know all right so I need you to turn around for me on the 9th of October 2022 officers were flagged down by a woman on the street who said she feared for her life after being threatened by her child now known as Matilda she was especially distressed that morning as Matilda had told her that she would be coming over before speaking with the suspect officers heard heard the mother's side of the story which was full of disturbing details about ongoing threats and unpredictable Behavior she um so is she at your house right now or I I I just I don't know she's calling me calling me calling me I don't know if she's on if she's in her car on the way but and now okay now she knows that I'm talking to you great um she threatened my life and hers um yesterday I I uh came said she needs to leave she went to my mother's house um with the family okay um and then contined to Harbor anger and hate and um has uh sped out with me over tou but um has now been taking it out on my mom and potentially her family so and and now she's calling me non-stop right now um I don't I don't know what to do I am in a panicked state that I don't know that whether my my six-year-old granddaughter is going to be safe right now so where do where where do they stay they live with me okay where do you live I live at okay is sou down street yes right there okay so you want to go over there is that where your daughter is or that's where we that's where we reside that she is at she was at my grand at my um mom's house overnight I don't know where she is right now she could be in her car you want me to talk to her real quick um if she want to go ahead when the officer talked to Matilda on the phone she shared an entirely different story this is uh officer with d County hi hi so I'm speaking with your mom um with the issues that you guys having what's going on okay so we had a really big fight the other day and um she kicked me and my family out of her house which whatever right I know legally I'm a renter so I don't have to leave I figured for the you know to keep the peace that's what I would do give it 24 hours to just everyone to cool down to relax and staying at my grandma's house overnight okay um um and you know I was talking to my grandma and she she's she she kind of provoked me and I kind of just I I I laugh you know I laugh um I left because you know I I didn't want to have another fight I didn't want to have an argument C things aren't going going 100% right now and I guess at this point just be you know just you know out of there chilling on my own for a bit until I am around to cool down okay so the argument that that happened today or when did that happen um the argument with my mom happened yesterday and then the argument with my grandmother like just happened like 5 minutes ago okay so with your so with your grandmother what what exact so I guess Melanie is that your mom Melanie is my mom yeah okay I guess my grandmother called her and said you better look out milda's going on that's the impression I'm under um I guess you and I are perhaps in a similar um situation not really KN what Okay so oh sorry so okay so when you were having the argument with your mom or with your grandma what exactly was said does Matilda have any sort of like issues we need to know about like mental health issues or anything she is currently transitioning okay um there okay um she has uh have anxiety depression um and um currently not on probably should be okay so your mom is telling me that you know you threat threaten your your mom um and your grandma oh no I didn't threaten anybody okay I guess I'm I guess I'm wondering what said because at no point have I anybody live live somewhere else live with me with her family what daughter years old and they live is that your address up the street or is that my address okay I understand there are some threats um my life was so what were you so what would your mom said that um you threaten threaten her with uh you made some threats um about you know try or stuff like that no no I didn't no okay yeah I did um I did throw two um Parts one of them was her mother like so you throw stuff the okay yesterday um we had our B after that like and she told me it was her Grandma's topic although the mother appeared genuinely fearful officers would soon discover that there was much more to this family conflict than they initially thought so you you don't want her to uh go to your house or her house my mom cannot my my mom's had a usual she cannot do this okay she cannot do this all um I cannot have her in my home right now but she doesn't have she doesn't keep all of her stuff at her your mom house or anything she was there no she was there for one night and to be honest with you with the advice from my my son who lives in Ohio I at as this was all going on and I'm flagging you down I had literally Al been frantically packing everything I could think of to put in my my car to leave out of fear for her coming back and and and just and for my safety and if if if my house got destroyed and trash so so be it I would be alive and so is my dog and hopefully hopefully my granddaughter I don't know what to do I don't know what to do when she was making those rights and stuff were you on the phone with your mom then is that what you said no when she was my mom actually does not know about yesterday's conversation because I swore to Matilda that I would not tell anyone and I kept my word to my mom because my mom at 8 years old can't keep a secret and I would she would tell what she knew and then I would there would be retribution for me blobbing my mouth to her I I did tell my son in a um and he rightfully recommended that I P my bag and if if MAA came home just to sacrifice my sacrifice my for my safety um I don't know I don't know what to do I don't I I am well we're going to handle the legal aspect there there are few things that you need to take care of on your end as well one you need to remove weapons from the house for okay so that she can access they are her weapons it how can I do that how can I how can I do that they they belong to her turn over so can you go right now thank yeah we can we we can meet up there because if you're what you're saying with her being yeah the severely mental health as she is and with threads and stuff like that she doesn't need access yeah I mean I'm worried enough about the pit knives CU she took the biggest one and was stabbing going like this to me going like this to her and stabbing my floor a point with such force that she actually broke the tip off of it yeah well let's go let's go see the damages to the the mother then revealed the weapon that Matilda had allegedly used to threaten her during a previous encounter do you mind if I take pictures of sure come on bud oh sorry wear and object so that's the base that you threw or what the base I guess was at my my mom's house this is um a bowl that she threw she threw some kind of okay so she threw a base at your mom's house but you threw some bowls and stuff she threw some a a glass object um all through this kitchen um all right can you show me where she needs she was sitting here in the carpet it's old carpet so it's hard um she did try to th this across the room she threaten to take that um pedal machine and throw it into the the window um she did push me occasionally and in the situation so she does this is where she this is where she was sitting okay all right so work so I know she did try to make a hole in here but I think it's it it's probably um flexible enough that it probably did not punch her cuz I think she broken the tip at that point could you walk me through the whole situation or over again uh so when did this happen um yesterday Nish I'm making pizza dough cleaning some things in here that's so you were about to have lunch yeah a sponge accidentally was left in here she began to chastise me for leaving the sponge into in the sink how dare I not follow her rules in my house about leaving a sponge in the sink so you guys begin arguing about the sponge and um I I and she you know picked it up thre it over there and I said fine and I admittedly I might have been a little frustrated and said well here take another sponge there you go here's the sponge let's drop it move on she continued to yell and scream at me and say incredibly violent hateful things to me um pretty much start to just blame me for everything under the sun and how dare I I not follow her rules again this is my house okay and continued on ranting and raing that I was responsible for everything that has ever happened to this poor child in her entire life and that I and refusing to let me speak and when I did speak I was cut off um and at one point she was so she um blamed you for the things that anything anything that has ever happened in her life that was negative literally that's what she com me um she sat down there at one point and was yelling at me and demanding that I apologize and again I'm trying to stay as calm as I can because I mean I I've been through mindset training I've been through CP training I'm a teacher um I'm I'm trying to keep my end calm and and as I okay um I don't you know I'm sorry I'm sorry I left the sponge I'm sorry I haven't done what you needed for you know in your life I'm sorry I've done my best I'm just whatever I'm sorry what you what more you know what more do you want from me I'm sorry and she kept amping up and amping up and amping up and amping up and amping up blaming me saying that I'm instigating her I'm making her get upset I'm causing this situation well on my end I'm just trying to apologize and walk away eventually Matilda's grandmother alerted the police that Matilda had arrived at her house officers quickly responded and finally met her who denied any attempt to harm her mother and insisted that her mother was fabricating the entire story so tell me what's going on what happened okay so um basically my mom and I had an argument yesterday mhm and it resulted in um basically me uh and my family we left to say with my grandma because it wasn't working the a lot was being said and there was no resolution okay so we went to stay with my grandma that's SP um it was it was not there was no physical you know there was no physical violence it was just words and smash two balls um okay do you have your Ida with you yes is it a comfortable okay um I go by maela okay I guess the old okay yeah tell me a little bit of what happened with the knif and all that so I was having like basically at by the end of the argument I was at the point I would casually call it like near a mental breakdown I don't know what clinically whatever right I was in a bad place emotionally Mally you know it was just a bad time right um I felt like no matter what I said she just kept going on the same thing I felt like I was being emotionally I'm sure she has her own opinion on the matter and I guess I respect that for what it is but um I can only go by how I was feeling in the moment um I did not threaten her myself with I threatened to cut my hair okay because my hair is an important part I me and I was I was trying to get her attention it's so stupid you know when I'm in a clear mind you know okay so stupid but in the moment I was you know being like look I'm going to cut my hair I'm going to cut my hair and I I don't know okay it got to the point where like I was so frustrated CU she just kept talking over me I'm just desperately trying to get her attention in that you know hazy skin scary moment right so I just like in like stabbing the ground just like trying to like break the knife and and then I eventually succeed in like breaking the TP and then I just toss it to the side and I burst in tears cuz you know I'm like I'm past my limit and I just I need to go she says that me and my family should leave so we do and that's kind of where we're at okay got you all right so I need you to turn around for me kids weird for me all right all right Mom we can have at this point they decided to speak with Matilda's wife as well who confirmed the mother's account and expressed concerns about Matilda's volatile ultimately I want Matilda to get the help she needs cuz just from reading the report it sounds and what he or what she told officers you know it sounds like there might be some anger issues and that could have to do with the hormones um I don't know I'm not a doctor but my wife when we were trying to have baby she had hormone she was taking hormone supplements and I know it made her have a wide variety of mood swings so that's why I say you're not any trouble when you didn't think but I can also say this from my 23 years doing this you look scared yeah I'm from England and um those offices are a lot different guys okay well um I'm very nervous well you don't have to be nervous cuz like I said you're not in any trouble and uh I'm just here to take a statement um and ultimately you know I mean the reality is you know Matilda did the thing she did yes and that's okay you know we can all come back from mistakes you know one mistake two mistakes three mistakes don't make a bad person it makes bad choices yeah and that's what as a family unit uh ultimately we want to we want to do the right thing whether that be and I ain't going to lie you know the most extreme thing would be incarceration but it could be family therapy it could be and of course those decisions are not up to me but I know our district attorney's office does want to be a reformative you know institution and if we can avoid incarceration to help somebody get the therapy or the help they need um then we certainly want to do that yes um so but to do that I need two things truth from you guys yes because me from reading this situation and you're like not only I I don't doubt that you're probably nervous from me and I and I can appreciate that I'm not I'm not no no no I'm not dumb enough to think that that doesn't happen you know um but at the same time I also think that you might be dealing with some stress from this situation yeah definitely so tell me what's going on I'm just going to sit on the right now okay the wife's account aligns with the mother's statement leaving officers to one conclusion so basically um I was in there with Molly we were eating I believe um and then I heard Matilda yelling about a sponge being left in the sink right um and Melanie explaining that she had literally just been multitasking and that was it and then it spired from there and they started to fight um matela got very upset she was Hing herself and stuff like that okay um I I had already laugh with Molly into another room I didn't want her witnessing an argument um she heard the whole thing okay um I Heard Matilda threatened Melanie's life okay and then when Melanie I went out there and when um Melanie I saw the weapon and Melanie went to to her phone and I went into the bedroom Melanie did what with the phone I'm she went to her phone like she went to go get her phone call my mom one and um I went to the bedroom so Melanie had a weapon or mattilda had Matilda had a weapon okay but Melanie was going to H phone okay to help get herself helped and um I went to go protect Molly okay CU she's concern absolutely and I heard Matilda say basically that I was going to it was going to be her take Mella was going to take her own life if Melanie was to call the police okay um so that's pretty much what Melanie told us yes um and I left with Molly and I left I I went to work where do you work at I work at P Steak House nice I love the uh blooming onion it's great yes I don't need to eat it but man it's so hard not to and uh I was really disappointed when I learned that apparently that's not even an Australian real item but I don't care um let me ask you this question and this is my concern cuz when I speak to a judge and you know the district Jour office for us to get the best help I have a couple questions um and I feel for them to have the best chance of getting your family the best help at needs is for us all to be honest you know um because it doesn't and I not I don't know what you're going to say but let's say the worst case scenario is going on and you sugarcoat it yeah that's not really going to get Matilda the help she needs has anything like this happened before that have been arguments that have been arguments before um I kind of stay away from them go into another room play videos for Molly and stuff like that is it mainly between him and his mother or sorry her and her mother I ain't going to lie I'm 46 I'm trying this is a new thing for me don't wor um we talk about in our unit because you know we have of course have some young people we have some older people like me and I'm like guys it's going to get me fired I'm trying to be respectful you're fine but uh so it's mainly between her and her mother yes um were you guys together before she started the homeone therapy were the arguments didn't it caused by that or was it prior to that or there were arguments prior to that nothing to the severity um but then at the same time when um she was first come when we first came here and um Matilda was on medication and she was on anti-depressants okay um and she was perfectly fine and then she came off of them and then everything started to D with SP so it may not even be the hormones it may be the not taking her yeah mental health meds yeah okay so do you know what she's diagnosed as far as mental health no no okay and the reason I asked that because I know that is a thing a judge can do is uh order mental health treatment yeah you know especially if we think that's a contributing factor and I imagine just from my experience I can't speak for your family unit but for my experience of my own family and for doing this for 23 years when somebody has mental health diagnosis and they don't take their prescribed medication it can exacerbate the situation yeah so okay well you've been a big help this allows me to you know tell the District Attorney's office and the excuse me the judge what you think is going on here thank you and uh we do appreciate that because uh do you know if Matilda's been arrested for anything before no she's not see that that's that's a thing right there is if it's first time arrest we certainly the case of a transgender woman who took things to another level by live streaming herself in the middle of a confrontation with her own family we got one male detect I got beat in there I got beaten there I have medical conditions you're detaining me for no reason you crazy mother swow down no evidence of a crime you piece of sh on the 19th of March 2022 police responded to a domestic disturbance in reference to a transgender person who entered her ex-wife's home and physically and verbally her while live streaming the incident on YouTube what happened next was shocking CH office look at this get him out get him out break break it off break it off let go just St my phone let go step step out step out St my phone step out listen to me stop I'm not dad just give the hand stop dising you're dumb hey knock it off knock it off chill out knock it off you should chill out 5 player 10 three we got one male detain the suspect's family was completely traumatized the officers would later discover what really transpired in the household to check on okay are you heard it already you don't want Rescue any oh no nothing like that okay it's okay I know take a seat M you got anything on you stream or something for his YouTube channel I don't know and he's like calling my mother in just all these terrible just no no one wants to hear come in I don't even know what time it is and so um just started banging on my mom's door just super violently and so I came came out grabbed my dad I just picked him up like there and brought him to the door because he's banging on my door trying to open my mom's door you know and he's banging super hard and so I try to bring him to the door cuz sorry I'm not of breath because been holding for 20 minutes it was at this point that the suspects presented a different story however no one would take her side as it was truly unbelievable what's up I was trying to talk to my kid and I got attacked and my phone got taken away what I was trying to talk to my kid and my phone got taken away trying to talk to my kid did okay all right well just just do me a favor and just hang tight be in prison I don't be in prison okay you're detained right now for what I didn't come in for time I was talking kids okay well we got everybody separated and right now I'm not letting you out of the car right now well I I understand that but I didn't commit the crime and my I was talking to my kid it's it well right now you're detained you're not free to go for what what am I what am I saying for I'm assuming battery assuming this I wasn't here I haven't been inside there's no battery there's no battery can you prove battery right now I can't because I haven't been inside me out the C you can't assume battery cuz I haven't been inside I haven't talked to anybody so being detained for no crime okay you're being detained right now for what crime for a battery investigation there's no battery there's no battery I got I got beat in there I got beat in
