on November 17th 2023 officers responded to reports of a shoplifting at CVS another officer was flagged down by a store manager who observed a man placed several unopen boxes into a shopping cart and leave the store without paying the officer quickly located a man who fit the description given to him by the store manager the suspect was found to have multiple sealed packages of soap and laundry detergent in a shopping cart totaling approximately $257.66 you're sitting over where at CVS okay so grab the cart and we're going to go back over to CVS no you can take it I don't want huh I don't want it he gave it to you you're responsible for it he said can you hold this for me real quick I'll be right back that's it okay so let's go over to CVS with that c and you can show me the old man the suspect was placed under arrest and transport reped to hobok and police headquarters where he refused to be fingerprinted and photographed he was charged with shoplifting and failure to submit fingerprints and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility
