On June 8th, 2024, police responded to a reported shoplifting incident at a Home Depot. The situation quickly escalated when the suspect attempted to evade authorities during the investigation. The suspect was ultimately apprehended and charged with shoplifting and resisting arrest, while also being flagged for multiple outstanding warrants totaling $3,000. Following the issuance of a complaint warrant, the individual was transported directly to the county jail.
