My brother lives here, so I just brought him dinner, kind of check on him cuz he can't help it. But, he don't need to be here with her. And where is her room normally at? Straight back in the back. But, she's sitting right there. You know, all these holes and all this stuff she did this to that just broke up everything before. It's been a while back, but we haven't been to court since that. But, Stay by. I'm going to get you some more information, okay? All right. All right. Police department. Hi, how you doing? Hey. So, uh what's going on today? Nothing. All right. So, you want to explain the door up front? That's my mother, and I was asking her to block my children from blocking my kids on two girls. I asked them to She kept rushing to get to the rushing out door, and I'm asking her to see my children, my two daughters for a minute. And she just kept saying stuff to get me, I guess aggravated. So, she made me rush. So, I was talking to them talking to them outside in the car to try to, you know, get what I need to say to them. But, she came to the car, and after that it just became an argument. How did she get the scratches on her face? Well, I got She scratched I got scratches on me, too. Uh well, they're kind of like not bruises, but they're kind of like but a little bit up on there. She might have pulled on my shirt. All right. Uh do you have your driver's license on you, or You can go ahead and take a seat back on the couch. We'll be right back, okay? Okay. Around what time did all this stuff happen? As we called you, it happened in then when we called. Oh, I don't know. I just found my phone. She threw it across the Well, whenever you got the call that she was in actively doing all she was doing at that point in time. She said to me Nico was outside. Yeah, the uh little man right there. He's at the door. So, she broke the door, she scratched you. How did Sheila get the scratches on her arm? >> She was trying to hit me, and I was holding her. I mean, I got two witnesses right here. They were all upset, but she was reaching over trying to get my phone. And when she finally did and threw it, but she was uh trying to get the phone and so she was hitting me trying to take the phone. So I'm trying to hold her back. So I never hit her one time but I know I was trying to hold her arm to keep her from, you know, hitting me. When was the last time she went for a uh psyche eval? She won't go. She won't go? Okay. The last time the judge, and I don't even know how long that's been. It's probably been almost 2 years. She was supposed to go. She just She didn't go. So I don't know. She's supposed to be evaluated, you know, got another evaluation. She's not done anything that she's supposed to do. She had a psychologist and a psychiatrist. She's not been back to them either. There should be a record somewhere down here about the situation that happened here when the kids came to my That's called a psyche eval. Yeah. charge. So were the door closed by any chance? >> The door was somewhat open because I was getting ready to get in the car. She was sitting in the car, you know, and then uh when we got ready to leave she was upset, decided she was going to break the car door so we wouldn't leave. And I'm trying to get the kids to safety but I've seen how she can Okay. So I mean I don't I don't want to make sure I got the timeline, you know, a good understanding of it. You guys were about to leave. >> Mhm. She comes out here. She pretty much grabs the door, pushes it back to the point where it overextends and breaks off that little bracket. >> Kept doing it She kept >> Okay. saying I'm going to break the door. Okay. So multiple times doing that. >> Yes. And then once she got it to this point, you were on the phone and you she tried to get the phone out um from you. Right. >> You grabbed her arm as she was trying to grab your phone so she can so you could prevent her from hurting you. Right. And she just kept saying to me, "I'm trying to call 911." Did y'all witness this? How old are you? 18. 18. How old is the one in the back? 13. 13. Would you say everything I just said has been accurate? >> Yes, sir. Okay. Do you mind if I get your information since you are technically a legal adult for it as a witness? Do you mind real quick if I get a couple pictures of your your your face for for little cuts? Did you get your little lower lower one? Sorry. All right. Thank you, ma'am. Thank thank you. Does she normally have like mood swings or is this just constant? Sometimes it's constant. I try not to, you know, say anything. Walk on eggshells trying to hope she'll agree to go back to see Dr. Fleming. I don't think it ain't getting no better. Because you just never know when she going to do what she did. The whole house is in a mess because she tore the wall, she broken the tables, and broken china cabinets, and china, and she just tore the whole house up. So, like you stay here, I'll go to my other house and stay with the children, you know, cuz they're not supposed to >> kind of like you're walking on eggshells the whole time around her. >> Yes. Yes. And this has got to stop. It's got to stop. She's got to get some help. Like we just can't continue like this. Was little guy out here when this was going on? Was he inside the house? >> He was out here. As a matter of fact, she had him with her. He was crying and she picked him up and she still instead of trying to tear the damn door. So, all three children outside? Yeah. Did you get hit by any chance? Well, I struggled with her a little bit. She was um trying to hit her and me and my sister was trying to help her out. I said we got to fight but she wouldn't let up and then finally she Well, she grabbed my grandma's phone and she threw it across the street and it came in the middle of the road. So, that's when she let up when she grabbed my grandma's phone cuz she was trying to throw it at her. And she was like, "You not going to record me." Right now, we're going to take her into custody, all right, for battery, family violence, criminal damage to property. How much would you say the damage is? I I don't know. I I have no idea. Okay. What year is this? 21. 21? Uh-huh. This case gets a lot of attention. And two counts of um child cruelty in the second third. So, that case it just means the kid was kids were there. They witnessed it. They observed everything. My God, son. He have a car and a provision. But he's out of town. He's sending somebody else over here. But if she's here, I cannot leave this here house. This here I promise you it'll be down in that pool or it'll be just torn up. If I can't leave it here. But if you take her, then I guess I can leave it and somebody can pick me up or I can pick it up tomorrow. This should be able to drive still. Yeah, you're going to This is not going to sound the greatest. It's going to be off. >> No, that's okay. But, IF IT YEAH, IT'S NOT GOING TO CLOSE. SHE IS GOING TO have I'm going to set this court date for tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. over at Recorder's Court for her first appearance. Okay. I'm going to talk to the state to see if they would recommend uh mental health court. Okay. All right. Cuz I understand there there's some people that really needs the help. And sometimes they just feel like or sometimes they just need that little extra push. This might be that little extra push. All right? So, So, this Uh-huh. Hey. So, I'll be straight with you. Okay. All right. It's not really looking so good at this moment. Okay. Okay. Can you put um Amico, is that how you say it? Amico, Amico, can you put Mr. Amico down? Um this is going to be a little rough. All right? You are going to be coming with me. Okay? >> Really? I have to walk? We have multiple witnesses. Say hold on. Please, please, please, please, please. Can I say something? One thing, I forgot. The reason why that door pushed open because she him and my arm and my my daughter was yelling. She started driving off with me standing in the door. That's why the door pushed back. Yeah, that's why with me standing there I don't know where she put the car in drive and started driving with me in the door twice. So, were you physically inside that vehicle? Yeah, when she was in the house when she was in the house I was sitting in the vehicle talking to my daughter. So, I didn't I didn't I didn't push a argument or anything with him. I was talking to him literally about uh I think about the phone bill, about my phone about the phone bill, and about they was rushing out to go get something to eat. When all I said was well, y'all haven't said anything to me about, you know, rushing Y'all know I normally have to speak to you guys about certain stuff and but y'all giving me limited time to like speak to y'all so I was just telling them like have courtesy to let me speak to you guys. Mhm. Okay, so while I'm sitting there doing that I'm really I was No, I asked my mother like could she stop being so aggressive and pushy about leaving without me talking to them. That's what happened. I was I was just literally I was saying to my wife this has to stop like you can't keep running off with them without letting me speak to them. So I never I didn't I didn't throw no heat or anything at her and I was standing right It was what got this the everything going is when she start pulling off with me. I didn't I I matter of fact I hadn't hit her anything. I think it just everything just escalated from me standing in the in the doorway and she pulled off with me and my daughter yelled out Here's the baby She got the baby in her hand. What side of the car of the door were you? What do you mean what side? Behind you. >> So were you on the side that goes into the car or the side on the outside of the car? >> the car. Well well like like right there standing in the driver side of the car. So at this time go ahead and stand up for me, please. What is the I don't have nobody to call or anything. Uh can I put my shoes on? Do you have slides or normal shoes? Shoes right now I What do I need the slides sneakers with? Like my slides are right there by the couch. Let me get them for you. Are they the red and green ones? Yeah. Go ahead and get them for you. I can't understand why I'm being punished like what am I doing? This has happened to me twice. All right, go ahead and put your hands behind your back for me, please. I'm tired of her lying on me all the time. I don't have no money to get out of court or jail. Like I'm tired of her trying to put me somewhere where I don't have no way to get out. I have to go to jail for trying to speak to my daughter. You ain't got no weapons on you, right? No. Can't she go Why she can't go? Can't she go for abandonment? I got bed bug bites. You see this? Uh I'm saying you see that room it's bed bugs. >> Come on. You see her her brother Her brother's in that room and he got on the bed. >> step. Watch your step. Watch your step, please. Watch your steps. I don't understand why she can't go. Go and hop on in for me, please. This thing is not fair. So, are you going to take him or he's going to stay inside? >> No. No. No. No. No. No. Well, who's that inside? That's my brother. I'll I'll get him. I'll have somebody come over to get it helps me with him. I'll have him come get him. All right. He's okay. But, she has no problem with him. I probably just take him home to the other house, too. >> Okay. Call my son here. He'll I'll come down from Atlanta. But, we'll get it taken care of. Yeah, but you should be good to stay here. She got no worries until that ride comes. But, Yeah. Okay. All right. Thank you. I appreciate it. Thank Listen.
