maybe there' be a bag of [ __ ] you suck my here oh this court case going be easy on July the 24th 2023 a Montville police officer monitoring the station CCTV cameras noticed the suspect was in the process of being released boldly swiped drugs from the Dropbox in the lobby and head straight to the bathroom the officer wasted no time and swiftly moved moved in to confront the said individual take there's nothing in there no no we have an issue now you have an issue now you have any ID on you no I yeah I can't he to fill this out okay you reached in the B drug box took a bag out brought in the bathroom we have no idea if he took something or not I I just said he can search me it's I just it's not going to change you already took it I I didn't leave I you already ingested something bro how officers identified Edward soell a wanted criminal in a gold Aura with his female passenger soell had previously robbed a bank fled from the police and committed Grand Theft officers attempted to pull him over but he immediately tried to flee prompting several officers to follow closely behind in the end the officers managed to block his way and thought they had him trapped however they did not he could fool the cops by playing remorseful after a double murder he shot his girlfriend Eva Aragon and his Barber Steven Singer during a drunken argument over a bad haircut in New mexic I'm not a violent person I'm not but when I need to protect myself I will I I didn't do it on purpose I believe you I believe you but something tragic happened she's dead no yes no no no no no no I want to die I want to die I want on December the 11th 2021 New Mexico State Police responded to a frantic d911 call from a 63-year-old David sturgeon in Pacos reporting a possible homicide when officers arrived they found Mark Valencia sitting in a van outside the home with blood in his hands and discovered Steven Singer and Eva Aragon with wounds sustained from a firearm after determining Valencia was the perpetrator of the heinous axe the police swiftly arrested him and took him to the station for further questioning not a good day yesterday so you live with Eva well she lives with me she lives with you okay uh who is she to you she's my girl she my girlfriend girlfriend yes and you guys have been dating for how long about a year prob about a year about a year yeah and has she lived with you this son okay but I mean we we've seen him here and there so you know we we hang out and whatever and then we started you know he cut his hair he cut my hair and he started getting attitude with me and I was just like dude just stop and Steve did yeah okay and it just started kind of growing from there and he took his shower and I was like okay and he just as soon as he got out of the shower you know I was talking you know with Uncle Dave and Eva and he started kind of you know open his mouth like oh while you you know this and that and I started getting annoyed and I was just like dude you to convince the officers that he committed the heinous act in self-defense but for how long could he keep up that story I've done my level three security I've done all that so I am armed and you know I I determined to uncover the real truth and weren't so easily fooled by his act I felt dir and I felt that I had to protect myself okay what made you feel threatened he's a big dude like seriously yeah you know I mean you know yeah I I can protect myself but I mean he's a big dude what was uh Eva and David doing during this time they were there youa try to come in between and she tried and I I told her I was like babe stop like you know what I I don't want to fight with him either but she kept on getting in and she got on the way and it just LED from one thing to another and it it got out of H very quickly very quickly and I didn't I I didn't mean to I didn't I really didn't didn't mean to what I I told him to back away mhm and then I Ste back and I shot him okay but you out in the way and I ended up Ching her and I didn't mean to had to mean to I really didn't like didn't mean to I know she was trying to step in for me and trying to get me back right and that's your girl well she was it in the car no it was in the car with theem motions running High an untrained Observer might have been swayed by Valencia's story but the officers were ready to dig deeper and find out what really happened walk me through the the actual part where you back up where were you where was he we were in the living room okay I was outside the door the front door the front door okay and I told him back up from me and he started coming at me and that's when I shot him twice and I sat back and yeah he was somehow I don't know it it I mean have shot three times usually it's t and then one okay so yeah so two or three times maybe yeah did you see uh anything in Steve's hands when he was coming out towards you I didn't know what he had with him okay and I didn't want to risk it because I don't know Valencia's story began to fall apart giving the officers more reasons to believe that he wasn't being truthful with them and that he possibly had more details to share so i' I've been to Uncle Dave's house and I walked through there uh and looked at things um and I I appreciate you're agreeing to talk with us in your statement um but there's there's some stuff you left out and there's there's evidence at Dave's house that shows us a lot more happened than what you've said and I just want to make for sure that that's that's your recollection of what happened that's my Rec that is did anybody else no not that know well Uncle Dave has his 22 that's about it where's that kept that usually he has it by the couch what color is that one I don't even know don't know a pistol or a rifle recounting their version of events and informed Valencia that he girlfriend and Bara had died the harsh reality started to sink in he was not getting away with this and not even his well rehearsed
