on april 20th 2021 there was a
police-involved shooting
in the city of columbus unfortunately
misinformation about the shooting spread
a lot faster
than information about the shooting
this caused a lot of people to be filled
with rage
and take to the streets one person
who encouraged this activity was
a basketball player by the name of
lebron
james with no information about the
shooting
he took to twitter and he posted this
image
there is no doubt in my mind that when
he
tweeted this he was encouraging people
to take to the streets
and he was encouraging people to act in
a violent manner
towards police officers
rather than talk about the shooting
myself i'm going to let the mayor of
columbus give his perspective on the
shooting
we know based on this footage
the officer took action to protect
another young girl in our community
the body-worn camera that you're about
to witness
was worn by a black officer who
responded
to the demonstrations downtown
that were sponsored by people who claim
to care about black lives
oh
