on April 15 2022 an officer got a call from a hospital in regards to a female who was refusing to leave she was also causing problems with other patients and was extremely uncooperative so what is it that you want tonight ma'am help I don't care what what kind of help do you need my mom just called because I guess she was worried about my mental health and then they brought me here and didn't nothing happen here so then I walked out but then I don't know where I'm at because I'm from Colorado so then I walked there yeah and then so you need to get where were you staying at with my mom and then she called the cops because I was breaking stuff I won't lie I was breaking stuff do you need a ride home if you could give me a ride home what would be best do you know where home's at six five more or less I don't even know what's the address if someone's here on a mental health issue don't let them work out okay so you need me and then I just walked just take me home you said you could just take me home I was asking you Bill if you need mental health no I want to go home you know I would love to go home they said I was they said I was discharged so I'm good right so what about I don't want to take you home and then you start fighting with your mom I ain't even fit in a fight with her I'm going home do you know your mom's number yeah I do if we call your mom and she says you can go home because you're not gonna argue are you okay with that yeah that you were being evaluated did the doctor even talk to you no they weren't telling me nothing were you in a room no I was in the in the hallway yeah in the big Holly office here so you were never put in a room or assigned I just walked out and then I walked back in because I was like I'm discharged but that's because he was just being because the lady in front said oh no he said you were discharged but it's like the big fat one that lost a lot of weight no some white not some white this is like bald like that that's I could see his face hello um is this the hospital uh this is the Las Cruces Police Department yes ma'am um so I'm not exactly sure what happened with your daughter and just to give you a heads up I'm probably leaving you a long message on the other line because I don't know how to end that call and answer this one so you can just disregard that message all right but so what happened with your daughter earlier her mind for two days um nothing got physical or anything like that between you and your mom you were just breaking stuff at the house dude was it like you were trying to hurt yourself or what happened to your head oh this happened yesterday but yeah I was trying to hurt myself but I'm cool okay why were you trying to hurt yourself what type of questions somebody try to hurt themselves well I mean there's different reasons why what was your intention to hurt yourself like where you're trying to end your life or were you just trying to have attention were you just trying to hurt this is the option camera still feeling like that not at the moment no when was the last time that you felt that way yeah before I got picked up like earlier this evening yeah like before I got it you said like an hour ago hold on hold on don't walk away I'm talking to you sorry so when's the last time were you that you were at Mesilla Valley you've never been to Messiah Valley uh when yeah she has nothing towards me yeah does she live there yeah yeah she's me but I was trying to get her oh yeah I'm trying to train bus ticket out of here okay to go back home how come you're feeling like hurting yourself or killing yourself I'm not asking for a good reason I'm not saying there's a bad reason I'm asking you why and I'm not going to get you married so why not because it won't help nothing I'm trying to help you that's why I'm asking these questions I can get you the help that you need or at least put you in the right direction why do you have an attitude of me like I'm here to help you these are simple questions no need to have an attitude I don't mean to have an attitude with you okay I apologize I appreciate it but I understand you're angry with them with that one specifically yeah is it just because you discharged you and didn't you didn't feel like you got the help that you needed I didn't get no help I was brought in here you know they're busy it takes it takes a little there's other patience it takes a little time for you to be checked out you're just huh I'm saying nothing compared to Colorado like well now you're in New Mexico you're no longer in Colorado sadly so why did you come to New Mexico I don't know how did you get to New Mexico on a plane okay why did you come down here just see my mom would you guys be all right if she just chills out in the ER waiting room until her mom comes picks her up you guys okay with that if she can chill you feel like hurting yourself right now yes or no you don't feel like killing yourself right now you don't feel like hurting other people yeah do you want to go back in and speak to somebody else to get help I did and that's why I'm still here okay so you want to talk to a doctor let me see what she said I'm sorry what did she say she's saying that you do new medical attention she's saying that you know you're out of your you're not in the right state of mind you're walking around naked and stuff like that so you do need medical attention wouldn't be here if I didn't so is that a yes or no see that that's a problem you know if you want the help you have to be up front with everybody including myself who was I saying no to I was saying yes to you yes to you yes to you yes to you you walked out but you walked up but you know I said okay this is the problem this is the problem we're trying to help you out we're trying to come up with Solutions but you're argumentative and disrespectful so at the same time they don't have to deal with it all right go ahead and take off don't go back on the property or you'll go to jail all right keep walking go ahead take off take off you're free to go go ahead already asked you all the questions I had okay see you just stepped up on mine feet you could just tell my mom to uh answer the car to answer the next college if you could just tell your buddy to call my mom and tell her to answer the next call that she gets because it's all right foreign so they'll give you a call once you get to the detention center right but I will call her and let her know what's going on like I told her all right come to this Hospital soon the female's mother called the cops to ask about her she is being charged and arrested for assault on a peace officer and resisting obstructing um however um basically what's going to happen from here is she's going to be booked into the detention center for those charges however she is they are going to be notified to evaluate her at that location um or send her out for further evaluation hey Brenda me if you're gonna book me we are what is sitting here doing y'all just sitting here twiddling your thumbs nah we're trying to get your information I gave you my information what else do you want your driver's license number and that's what we found so we're filling out the paperwork and then once we're done we're going to get you down to the Detention Center all right thank you you're welcome
