on February 11 2023 Chamblee police officer on patrol observed a vehicle that had stopped in the middle of the road for a few minutes and then resumed driving the officer pulled over the vehicle and asked the driver why she had stopped she said she didn't know where she was and was looking at her GPS the officer then asked the driver if she had been drinking to which she said that she worked in a talk to you first yeah I'm begging you everybody didn't show the chemical tests refused [Music] sir I ride the DeKalb County Jail one one female beginning 97166 the driver was charged with DUI possession of an open container of alcoholic beverage impeding traffic flow driving on roadways Lane for traffic and transported to DeKalb County Jail oh my God this way foreign what do you want me to talk about um yeah you wouldn't you wouldn't you wouldn't stop talking while it interrupting me while I'm trying to explain conduct a test talking over talking over me well I'm trying to do something is interrupting me and I'm not wait I'm done wasting my time with you so what's happening now is that that is now a refusal of the state administered chemical test so what I'm doing now is I'm filling out this form this is a form of administrative license suspension of your Georgia driver's license okay I'm going to give you a yellow copy on the back of your yellow copy as instructions for how to apply for a hearing to appeal your suspension all right the suspension will take effect on the 46th day from today for the next 45 for the next 45 days the yellow copy is your temporary driving permit after you sign for it is your temporary driving permit that is your driver's license for the next 45 days follow the instructions to apply for a hearing they'll set up a hearing for you and your whether or not your license gets suspended will be decided at the hearing if you don't set up a hearing the suspension will take effect on a 46 day following today you understand that go ahead like honestly I don't know like where's our country from which is fine it doesn't matter but like when I when I first approached you I was a rule I wasn't nothing you gotta understand like not everybody being involved in situation like this so when somebody is trying to ask you and somebody is showing their life understand and talk to you like it's okay to do that you don't have to be like this for everybody I wasn't disrespectful I wasn't rude to you I wasn't just respectful to you I wasn't nothing I was just trying to understand like what was going on and I feel like what happened like it didn't even have to call life you know all those backup and stuff because I was actually talking to you right and I actually like you didn't have to do this like you said I stopped in the middle of the road so I'm like I was just trying to understand like where I was going I'm right there that was dead there was nothing else and you said uh second over you and other stuff like that it wasn't like that I was just trying to understand I have never been in trouble in Georgia I've never been so I don't understand and you have like it's embarrassing in front of everybody even all my friends like oh that was not cool I'm just saying like I won't go to the point everything but I'm just saying like it's not like that's [ __ ] up because you do you know that like in life you have to give people chances and if they said somebody was doing something so wrong causing harm to other people's lives it will make sense but I wasn't doing that sir right I wasn't doing that you're trying to [ __ ] up my life I I know you're not doing nothing you're doing your job but this is gonna [ __ ] up my life he's gonna [ __ ] him and I'm just gonna [ __ ] up everything you don't understand because you are American citizen I'm not an American citizen and I'm trying not to get in trouble by the law in any type of worship or form you see my record so why are you doing this to me because you want to ruin my life it's not fair you don't want to talk to me we've we've said the same thing over and over again into me already but so you don't keep the you as a human being you don't want to listen to what I have to say as a human being that's basically what do you want me to say to it sir because you're not what do you want me to say here stay here at the yellow line you're not like black or anything but what you did was [ __ ] up you knew I wasn't drunk and you sound like yeah what's the first name what's your first name you have my first name yeah I just want to make sure it's all here correct here it's gonna be for her when she um pay attention pay attention to what she's asking you are you vaccinated I gotta swab your nose any car accidents or physical altercation in the last 24 hours foreign [Music] nice [ __ ] up like that is so [ __ ] up you have to do all that [ __ ] you guys the city everything else what you said this other sound changed because you want to arrest me I said it from the job because God always watching I'm innocent like besides me being innocent I don't even be just like you've been arrested for two dollars five hundred dollars what is the point of others what is your purpose I wasn't getting nobody car I wasn't acting crazy I stopped like to know where I was going I wasn't okay everybody terrible man terrible why are you doing this I'm not a criminal like I'm not a criminal you have so many [ __ ] out there to worry about there's people shooting there's people killing people and you guys are worried about me and I'm so lucky I said for you guys didn't even try to kill me you didn't have to worry about me for no reason all this to prove a point so they have points on on your credit as an officer or whatever like for God to ruin somebody else's life please as you guys it don't make no sense um that's gonna ruin my life it's not your life and you guys sit around you think it's okay it's [ __ ] up because you're in a uniform and you think it's okay to do that [ __ ] to somebody because you're white and I'm black it's red so alive then you're taking a course I'm gonna say what I have to say equal they can arrest me they can say whatever they want to say I did not feel any tests you gave me I was talking and you decided to not give me the test because I was expressing myself I have a right to do that in America they have a First Amendment in that screen of my speech I'm talking to you as a person and you don't really want to hear me because you don't want to feel no emotion you want to build yourself to a knife you know emotions it's not okay you have children if you don't have children that sucks but you have a wife somewhere you have family you have another you have a child or you have a father and you
