on December 13 2022 Brookhaven police officers responded to a minor car accident in Atlanta Georgia the driver of the sedan who had collided with a Chevy truck repeatedly denied causing the accident I've not hit this I've not hit the truck so then what happened how did we get here nothing like I don't know what's happened we weren't here either so we need to figure out how your car got in this little spot you know what I mean I've just I've been sitting here for the past like 10 minutes so did the lights not change in those 10 minutes or anything like that I mean they have but this car is not this truck's not moved the Silverado's not moved and then like any car like after that's not moved do you have your driver's license thank you sir [Music] no that was that's from like uh my little sister she's been driving my car recently and uh that's what like the front's from okay so I got Jared coming over here so he can talk to the guy I think he's he's something's going on and I know he's got a ride too so if it's more than alcohol then I told him I'll do the accident part of it absolutely maybe something else yeah yeah yeah oh but I told him I would take the accident part of it turns out to be something fun um but I think this car doesn't have insurance anyway I ran it on the way here doesn't have insurance so this kid gave us these two IDs this is acting weird he's like I didn't hit the car I don't know what's going on I was just waiting here for 10 minutes however officers suspected that the driver was under the influence of alcohol as a strong odor of alcohol emanated from him the driver was asked to perform field sobriety and breathalyzer tests which he agreed to do unfortunately he failed both tests yeah did you get hurt no no no no he just said uh I don't have any insurance and I I thought I have insurance I don't know uh we'll figure it out can you step out here for me yeah [Music] can you tell me what happened I know you probably explained it to them but I mean but uh I just got here I'm just trying to figure it out I didn't um I didn't realize that like uh I didn't I didn't even hit them like I don't know it's uh it's just something that's like uh just between the both of us and it's like uh I mean you weren't a fan it's like uh it's kind of it's crazy just the both of us just like uh I don't know I've never really been in like an accident before so like uh I don't really know like what I should be doing right now no you're doing it I think we just tapped each other and uh honestly like on my part it's fine like like if this is all that's happened but if it's something big I I mean I don't I mean I don't know like how much you have to drink um I've not had much to drink how much maybe like a drink like a beer a beer yeah where was that at uh just uh nothing much yeah where did you have the beer though uh just the fact that like uh with people and okay so like a house yeah uh I'm 20. okay so you had one beer you remember how long ago that was 25 30 minutes ago like not too long how big was the beer like not it wasn't even like a full-size beer it was just like a I mean it was just like a like I was just driving people to like where they're from and then was like uh I got like if I like have like half a beer it's like not you know what I mean yeah okay because uh I could smell it's pretty strong okay so I think he had more than one beer I mean that I mean that was really it so so you mentioned you don't remember how the accident happened I mean we really just bumped into each other that was it yeah yeah I understand that I mean it's nothing too bad like like how to happen though I mean we really just like you just like it was just the tap like yeah I understand it was just a pet but how did the accident happen uh I was like where what direction were you going I was going this way and uh I think they're going that way but that was it okay do you remember if your car was moving uh I don't think my car was moving much okay so you were kind of yeah right here okay so you were split between the turn line and yeah I was in the I'm in this gold car right here no I don't know I I'm just making sure so what I want you to do is put your feet together just like mine just like that we can move over here I know there's a little bone there just like so you know where it's nice and stable just put your arms by your side just like that and what I want you to do is look at the tip of my finger okay I'm removing it back and forth and what I want you to do is focus on it with your eyes and your eyes alone all right you understand I understand [Music] try not to move your head okay okay [Music] try to keep it straight okay okay just following with your eyeballs keep your head straight straight towards me we'll fall with your eyes try to keep your hands straight okay straight towards me just follow your eyes [Music] okay same thing I'm just gonna go up and down okay that's good what'd you say you're headed to I'm heading to Tucker yeah that's right um do you have any medical conditions uh no nothing uh you take any prescription or anything like that all right you see this uh straight yellow the straight white line right here do you want me to walk it I'm gonna tell you exactly what dude that's why you should follow my trucks all right and I'm gonna make sure you understand everything before okay okay and feel free to interrupt me if you got any questions but okay I want to make sure you know what to do before you start I understand okay yeah yeah once it's green so what I want you to do is put your left foot on that one and what I want you to do after that is put your right foot in front of it Heel To Toe I want you to stay just like that and keep your arms by your side okay I can stay like that and I'm gonna explain the instructions to you okay when when I when I instruct you to do so you're gonna be making nine Heel To Toe steps a series of small steps to turn around nine heels so back okay all right I'm gonna demonstrate it I'm gonna demonstrate the first three steps okay so I got my imaginary line here okay one two three and so forth until I get to that ninth step and I'm gonna make a series of small steps to turn around can you stand the starting position and then nine heel steps back one two three and so forth until you get to that night don't start yet sorry and so forth until you get to that nine step while you're doing this I want you to look at towards your feet look at your feet count your steps out loud and once you start don't stop until you're finished okay okay uh what do I need to count to nine it'll be nine yellow steps but first go ahead and get the starting position which is your left foot on that line and your right foot in front of it heal the toe Your Arms by your side okay one two foreign remember it's not it's not healed until back right a series of small steps to turn around and nine Heel To Toe two steps back [Music] foreign you got a stopwatch honey I do you got a stopwatch you can't use a stopwatch I got my phone in the car all right I'm just uh for this last one it's gonna be the same starting position as the first one so you can stay right here yeah I'll explain it right now so you can just face me it'll be just like this feet together Your Arms by your side just like so okay I want you to start until I explain everything okay so when I tell you to do so you'll raise one foot either foot approximately six inches off the ground that's about the size of a dollar bill okay okay like right here I'm gonna demonstrate and explain it don't start yet so you can raise one foot either for approximately six inches off the ground okay you're gonna keep your PO your toe pointed forward just like so in your account one thousand one two thousand two three and so forth until I tell you to stop okay if you lose your balance just go ahead and pick your foot up pick your foot up and continue where you left off do you understand everything uh yes 0.17 okay okay we can start when you're ready remember six inches off the ground just like so okay you can stop if you have a sense all right this is a preliminary upper sample okay so this is right out of classes worry about any germs or nothing um basically it's like blowing up so just blow into it [Music] blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah [Music] how many people two sure about that yeah for a second I know it's cold out here thank you all right please uh yes [Music] will you submit to the state Administration chemical test of your breath yes [Music] the man was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI following too closely failure to maintain insurance and obstruction foreign [Music] numbers don't even match up and that comes back with no record the only thing is different is his birthday [Music] come on well he gave him one and then when I didn't know he had given him one so I asked him for an ID again and then he gave me another one and he's like he already gave me one so when you asked for an ID you presented yeah he gave me that he presented one to him and then he got due to giving people there that's a fake one that's a felony right yeah that's cool so
