Later, the state dropped the misuse of 911 charge due to lack of probable cause. But the serious felony charges, battery and resisting with violence still stand. Her legal team is now reviewing the evidence and questioning witnesses. Because she recently changed attorneys, the court granted a delay. Her next major court date is set for February 24th, 2026. That's when both sides will return to court and let the judge know if they're ready to go to trial, need more time, or have reached a plea deal. What do you think? Was this handled fairly?
