where are you coming from tonight
uh well I worked at Char in my bank okay
I'm from
yes sir drinking tonight a little bit
I did have a drink
I'm doing good can I have your license
registration and insurance please
where are you coming from
oh babe I'm literally I'm like
I don't even
I was just hanging out okay can I just
get your license registration insurance
something
you got the registration and insurance
for me
well my insurance
oh my God
so where you coming from tonight
so what happened was
I was just out with my friends okay
you've been drinking
I got some work okay
yeah of course
okay and then just the registration card
so you're hanging out with your friends
after work
yeah
and then where are you heading now
is home still which is on your DL
no where do you live now
okay can you get that registration for
me
all right can you just can you just turn
off the vehicle for me and you're gonna
step out you're gonna do some tests for
us okay okay
all right
this is Officer Ross
uh well I work at Char in Red Bank
yes sir you ready to play a little bit
I did have a drink yes
um
actually come over here we're I didn't
realize this was a divot you see that
white line right there but it says stop
next to it
all right first I'm gonna check your
eyes you haven't you wear contacts
glasses anything like that you're
wearing them now yes sir okay uh what
kind of vision problems do you have
um of course but you can't see so far
away I'm legally blind you're legally
blind yes sir okay uh with the contacts
what's your vision like uh negative
seven okay and negative 6.5 so if I hold
it if I hold this pen in front of your
face here can you see the tip of it
clearly uh yes sir so what we're gonna
do is you're gonna look at the tip of
the pen okay and you're gonna follow the
tip of the pen with just your eyes okay
okay
please
foreign
[Applause]
[Applause]
[Music]
do you have any uh physical disabilities
or issues like that would prevent you
from performing tests yes sir okay have
you ever been through these tests before
uh no sir okay so what I'm gonna do is
I'm going to explain to you the starting
position you're getting a starting
position for the test and then I'll
explain the rest of the instructions to
you I know it's cold out but we'll be
done soon all right so take your right
foot put it in front of your left foot
with your heel touching
the toe of your other foot so right foot
in front of your left and your right
heel is going to touch your toes just
like that yep
then put your arms down at your side
okay
control balancing
I'm freezing I'll be so honest I'm so
cold okay where okay so right foot in
front of your left foot arms down at
your side
and your heels your right heel should be
touching your left top
so I'm going to show you the test now
remain in that position and do not start
or sorry oh my God okay
do not start the test until uh I tell
you to do so okay okay all right so what
you're gonna do is once you're in a
starting position you're gonna take nine
Heel To Toe steps down this white line
here
like so
one
two
three you're gonna count out loud just
like I was and while you're taking the
steps you're going to be looking at your
feet when you get to nine you're gonna
take a series of small steps
like so okay
and then you're going to take nine heal
yourself steps back while looking at
your feet with your arms down your side
and Counting out loud one two
three all the way to nine
do you understand the instructions that
I gave them to you
if you have any questions
you want to get your jacket
um
no I was just sitting in my car
oh
Lord
where are you living now
uh I live in
I'm just saying with a friend okay
a little better
you know what not that great but
here we are I'm gonna do it
you need me to explain I'm gonna explain
the test to you again okay
all right so take your right foot put it
in front of your left foot with the heel
of your right foot touching the toes of
your left foot okay
put your hands down on your side
and stay looking at your feet what
you're going to do is you're going to
take nine Heel To Toe steps while
counting out loud like so one
two three all the way to nine when you
get to nine you're gonna take a series
of small steps
like so
then you're going to take nine heels or
two steps back
while counting out loud one two three
all the way to nine while walking and
Performing the test you'll be looking at
your feet and keeping your hands at your
sides at all times do not stop the test
until it is completed if you understand
I'm gonna begin the test
okay
all right so
we're doing one two
three
four five six seven
nine I'm sorry it's okay was it ten nine
but you just continue the test so I can
turn now yep that's what you're saying
yep okay
um two three four five six seven eight
nine okay the second test is gonna be
the one leg stand that's actually
completed
so the second test is gonna be a one leg
stand all right I'm gonna explain the
test to you okay and then you're gonna
perform the test so put your arms down
on your side and your feet together
I'm gonna explain the test to you do not
begin until I tell you to do so okay yes
what you're gonna do is you're gonna
take either one of your feet it's your
choice You're Gonna Keep Your Arms down
on your side you're gonna lift that foot
off the ground about six inches You're
Gonna Keep the bottom of your foot
parallel to the ground you're going to
stare at your toe while your foot's up
you're going to count out loud one one
thousand two one thousand three one
thousand four one thousand you're gonna
count until I tell you to stop you
understand yes sir they may begin the
test
oh Lord I'm just kidding please okay
one one thousand two one thousand three
one thousand four one thousand five one
thousand seven thousand seven hundred
thousand
eight one thousand
okay that's good you want to stand over
by your car for me oh
all right man I'm gonna be placing you
under arrest for driving while Under the
Influence
um I will be nice enough do you want me
to grab anything out of your car for you
like your cell phone or something like
that so you can have down a headquarters
just your cell phone you need
okay
I was there

[Music]
