on August 1st 2022 Chamblee police officers responded to a call from quality in hotel regarding a heated argument between a couple upon arrival the officer was greeted by an employee who expressed a desire for the couple to leave the premises they're inside is there a party in there you just want them off the property do they stay here yeah the officer found a distraught young woman in the lobby who claimed to be 22 years old she had spent the night with her 40-year-old boyfriend and wanted to leave peacefully but her boyfriend allegedly took her phone and struck her during the altercation where's the other party how can I help you what happened yeah what happened [Music] you want to talk to me or you just want to get your phone to leave foreign [Music] [Music] against who he has it against you [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so so you've been staying with him here at this location it's just foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Laughter] shortly after the male counterpart joined the conversation asserting that the phone in question belonged to him he accused the young woman of breaking his car windshield and disputed her claim of being assaulted [Music] [Laughter] what was her fault where's her phones where's your phone at did he think okay so the phone that she had which was in her in her possession okay okay [Music] I gave it I put it in her hands and I asked her when she when I when she said she was getting all her belongings and she went out of the room with all her belongings I said hey can I have my phone please so I said it again hey it comes down to it that that phone has to come go with me that is my personal phone it is mine you know what I mean so she chose to say no so I said okay so I came to her I was like hey you know what if [Applause] we had a situation where foreign acts around me or anything of that nature if she comes around me it's cool which I let her come around and um ma'am probably was going to the bathroom but better understanding of the situation whatever whatever you guys got going on look at me okay we had a little commotion with her and some other gentlemen they were here tonight and they were screaming or whatever the case may be I need to talk with her though okay okay yeah do you know about that phone is that her phone or something like that is that her phone or something I know she has two phones he was like okay [ __ ] if you don't want to stay with me right the second floor right there there's like a um maybe an ice machine or some type of big vending machine right here how did he hit you he's slapping you you just take the phone away from you rough I mean I was sitting down like this I was sitting over just sitting on my stuff texting just waiting keeping calm because I know the place where I'm in like I said I have already ordered against him so I'm not gonna make myself noticeable when I know I'm waiting around I'm just trying to get out call me you know those I don't need no extra issues so he came to me and he was like oh first he had walked by on the lower level and was like oh yeah I see you [ __ ] I'm like okay I'm not gonna say nothing because I was really trying to antagonize and worry about it until you came up the first time it's importantly against him I did yeah that wasn't today no that was gonna be simple we need to establish that okay you didn't touch his car today no okay I wanted to hit him though I did I'm gonna lie no I did it I wanted to okay okay you're probably gonna see me running after him this way and my shoes though because I'm running after him like okay now you got me [ __ ] up you hit me you took my phone the whole point how did he hit you he I don't even know how because he was I'm sitting down he's sitting there talking he's above me so I'm like okay I'm cool I'm thinking that he's gonna be cool he's like yeah you know if you just want to be how long did he have that phone for I've had that phone since I bought it sir that's the whole how long I've had it for about a couple months seven months okay and that's how he contacted you to come stay with him last night how was it how did y'all end up together we were already together since when for a couple days now okay y'all okay I hope that y'all got a room last night here okay you were trying to leave today basically he didn't want you to leave because I because I didn't want no problems because okay so that's what I'm gonna do yes sir say no more that's what I'm gonna do I'm gonna go ahead and grab your phone okay I'm gonna bring it to you you go about your way sounds good yeah don't mess with it okay I'm gonna put a case number on this um just based off your history all right if it's and it's it's considered domestic too because it's been two years that y'all were going back and forth whatever the case and be I don't know what it is but see the thing is he can tell y'all anything like he could be like hey she kicked me and I could get I go to jail because I have the protective order so I know I already know [ __ ] up by being around I just needed help because I went through a situation you know what I'm saying that was personal that I kind of just needed like I ride here and there and just did a little bit of help and he was you know kind of coming against me but I didn't realize so I'm like okay I'm gonna just try to work the best way to get away let me get your phone real quick you don't got no nothing else in there I don't have nothing of his all my stuff is right here sitting down I went to go get it from right here that's all my stuff I made sure go ahead and get your stuff go ahead put it in his car that's that's fine all right and then let me go ahead and get your phone the boyfriend reminded the officer that he had no issue with her leaving but wanted her to be held accountable for the damage inflicted on his windshield all right so of our qualification um the little half I got from him but he was talking to you here um and it all started with her going through one of the phones and getting upset and and here we are so but your buddy gonna pay for the windshield we didn't count it even but if not she's gonna have to she gonna have to be an account sir before I put it in the car so he knows I don't have anything if she not one windshield he's talking about my car went here today yes like right now yes she broke the windshield through a big rock in the windshield in front of us were arguing whatever she was outside already she had got her belongings I asked her for my phone [Music] um that was before I asked her for my phone and when she was sitting right there I said can I have my phone and she was like nah and I was I just grabbed it out of her hand like haha my phone so man she took it upon herself to go I went back in my room no before anybody win this her grab the rock throw it in the windshield it's on camera let me go ahead and replay those cameras the officer requested assistance in reviewing the hotel's surveillance footage and documented the damage to the windshield capturing photographs as evidence [Music] right now y'all were together since last night then okay look I had the event Saturday which is on the radio um you know to see this thing is Saturday so y'all not dating y'all just friends right now but y'all were dating right okay two years on and off I guess yes okay and I have three phones because I do these events and so I don't want people calling my personal phone yet I haven't even drove Romeo Yankees over here I haven't drove it yet it's messed up but she know it's messed up but still this is the rock this is the windshield yeah so you know what I mean you just throw it at you I'm not lying guys but yeah I'm about to take it next door to that shop right there so how long you been staying here then I just got here yesterday in this car okay birthday their body shop I mean uh right here yeah that's what I'm taking it tomorrow well I was supposed so do you know that if she has a protective order or something against you or what is it on her the first time she did this oh so she does a promoter yeah and she and she if she comes around me she's not supposed to have any violent content no kind of violin anything or anything so she didn't kick you punch you again no she just broke my wishes let's go what time was it around so if we look at the time overnight it had to be like like one around 30. everybody no we can't do that no it's a policeman radio all right he have but there's a big ass Rock and it's fresh windshield it's a big old rock 40 years old all the mama jump all right so you look when it comes to the Rock I mean it's fresh the rock is right there on the windshield I told you that you threw the rock I told you that I wanted to throw it away because like I said I did want to once you take the phone and you're a 40 you're older than me you know that this is the only contact you take something from me that I feel like is the only safety that I have I'm gonna take up your safety too I'm sorry yeah I understand that it makes it the best decision so yes and that's what I said right there yes I did pick up a rock and spin it earlier because appreciate you see in the house yes I have and that's why I have a case against me in a protective order because the first time then how did that how did all that damage happened it had to be with some type of force where you grab a big ass object and just throw it I mean if it would have just fell on the ground it would have fell but do you see my hands like as in like weight me I'm like okay please just give me my phone I don't want to do this I don't want to act out I don't want to go this far but just please give me my phone you know I'm out here by myself like I don't want to act crazy but I feel like I have to do what I have to do because I'm not hurt by myself and you know what I'm going through so that's when he ran across the the grass area because we're right here he walked across the grass area he came in front he was like you're not gonna throw no rock in my car [ __ ] you're not gonna throw no rocket my car this is I'm like okay I don't want to just give me my phone you know I paid for it using your name it's fine you could take it just let me get the numbers out the phone I'm talking about myself so then boom I'm going over there I pick up the rock yes I did pick up a big ass Rock I'm getting ready to sling it it's in front of me so I can't show my hands but it's in front of me I'm getting ready to throw he steps in front of me flings it out my hand it hits on it he's like okay [ __ ] I'm gonna get you arrested you hit me so now he's like he's like excuse me I'm not trying to he's like have a seat have a seat she hit me okay so I see what you're trying to do so at that point that's when the same rock where you probably left it it's going to be on this side it's where it fell in that's where they felt it because once you said that my mentor knew that you're trying to get me [ __ ] up no matter how much no matter how much you know young again no yeah so you moved on him from Florida over here and yes sir yes I don't have multiple cases yes and you still can't come back [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] because you choose to and you choose to do that to mess up your life footage [Music] depending on what I see and if you lie to me I'm gonna charge you with everything I can understood because it's you lied to me it's a problem upon reviewing the footage the assisting officer confirmed that the young woman had indeed thrown a large Rock causing the windshield to shatter [Music] let's go ahead and get that burned or something [Music] just said it I'll explain to you in a few all right you just confirmed right now on camera that's fine okay that's fine I'm not gonna argue with you well I'm not trying to argue with you we're trying to just get the point across just the real reason okay I understand she was charged with criminal trespass and damage to the property reflecting the consequences of her actions during the altercation what I might be able to slip off [Music] no they're already tired I can't think you're a bad person at this you just can't can't be normal uh I just need to get to see how much that windshield is I already took pictures of all that okay those are damaged because it looks so the rock hits the windshield and actually bounces down the front of the car it was just gonna go I don't know yeah Family Violence because everywhere for two years even on and off um she even told me she has a Henry County judge ordered to stay away from him no violent contact right um last name is going to be young so yeah that's what I'm going with let me go ahead and ask him
