Hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up. >> Don't touch me, sir. What's wrong with you? >> Stop. >> Don't touch me. I'm Don't touch me. >> You're being detained. Stop. Stop being >> I just got off a plane. What the >> What started as nothing turns into a scene no one on board can ignore. On March 4th, 2025, deputies were called to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport after a report of a disturbance on a flight that had just landed. >> Thank you. >> So then she ended up to escalate on her own. She threw water on the passenger that was in the exit road. They turned around a bottle out of halt. They were talking these two gentlemen having a conversation. >> Was this? >> Yeah. >> So she would not cooperate. And now I'm assuming y'all are going to come out and talk to you if they want to press charges against her. So do you I don't know her name or nothing. So when she comes out here, do I just have her to step aside? >> She's scared. One sec. Just hang out one second. >> I got two luck coming. I'm I'm on camera. So you know the daytime is going to be up in the air. It's fast. >> We can detain. But yeah, >> as far as the charges, that that's >> um so he's going to be taking primary. >> All right, there you go, Max. >> Yeah. >> All right. Good stuff. >> You will breathe my hair. So, so far in the air, I'm on in the air, a woman, for whatever reason, threw water on several passengers, several of whom want to press charges. Now, I adise the air marshal there that that's what's up with the other fed unless we get any more information that I don't know about. There are two alleged victims or at least one right here waiting to talk to us. That's what we got. And the female, come on. >> Are they related? Are they involved? >> Okay. >> Did they tell you to leave the the deep plane? >> No. First offbody. >> Perfect. >> Yeah. Keep going. >> Things quickly took another turn when officers moved in to detain her. Instead of staying calm, she became physically uncooperative. Deputies gave repeated instructions, but she did not follow them, forcing officers to step in and place her in handcuffs. Stop. >> You're being detained. Stop being >> Stop. You are You are >> No, I'm not. >> I just got off a plane. What the are you being detained for? >> Why are you grabbing me like this? >> I got my hands. I'm not even moving. >> I'm not even >> Stop resisting. Stop. Nothing. I'm not even moving. My arm doesn't put handcuffs. >> I'm not moving. I'm literally not moving. Why are you pulling my arm so large? Officers had to control her movements and keep her from pulling away while also keeping the area around them under control as other passengers were still nearby watching everything unfold. >> What state you from? >> What the >> I said stop several times, ma'am. You're not complying. We need to comply. >> Back up. >> Get back or you go too. >> That has nothing to do with anywhere. >> Can you grab me like stupid ass crack? What the is you grabbing me like that? But I'm not even moving. You had me in handcuffs. Why are you still holding? You worked your hand out tighter than a piss on my arm. >> My shoes. >> Yeah, because you tricked me. >> I tricked me. >> I tripped you. You're literally standing on my clothes and you're telling me I tripped you. You're throwing me into Why you throwing me? >> Sit down. Sit down. >> Sit. You're doing all of this telling me I tripped you. >> Sit down. >> How am I going to trip you? >> Once she was secured, deputies turned back to the passengers to get clear statements. One of the men explained that they were simply having a normal conversation during the flight, speaking Spanish, when the woman suddenly turned around and took issue with it. >> He's slugging me into the wall. >> Gentlemen, gentlemen, Gentlemen, >> I just got home. >> Let's go over here. >> Go back here. >> I didn't do anything. >> I didn't do anything. Why did he just do that? >> So, what happened? >> So, we were having a conversation with the flight and um she turned around and said, >> "Uh, you bothering us with your conversation?" >> We were speaking Spanish. >> Okay. um >> which may not do with it. But you know um she got really aggressive >> to the point where she turned around and threw a water a Coke bottle in my face. >> She threw a bottle >> a liquid or the bottle itself. >> The bottle. >> An empty bottle. >> An empty bottle. >> It didn't do more damage. I got >> Okay. Did Did it hit you? >> It my face my face. like a plastic bottle or aluminum or >> as soon as plastic bottle as soon as I hit my face he said like let it go you know just let it go and but I can't so I got up and I went to the left and then and I told her what happened and she offered to um maybe change her of seats or change us of seats depending on her you know her convenience rate >> okay >> and so we changed seats >> and that's basically it but she threw all in my face because she didn't like our conversation. >> Okay. >> That that was basically >> All right. Did you >> Yeah. Did you get hit with any of that at all? >> I didn't know that he did. >> Okay. >> And was this up in the air or was this on the ground? In the air. Was there any further altercation on the ground? >> No. >> No. >> No. No. >> Just having a chat and she said, >> "So, so we're business partners." So, we're talking about business. >> Okay. And as she just turned around, threw the water bottle. It flew into my face. As soon as that happened, >> the actual bottle or just the liquid bottle face. >> As soon as that happened, I got up and talked to the students and and told her what happened and I asked to either >> I'll give it to you. >> I'll give it to you. relax. >> Everything is talk about relax y >> Oh man. >> Get the officer's badge number. >> Yeah. >> 7573. >> Which one of y'all? No, >> that's all I need. I got it. Y'all forgot. While deputies were gathering these statements, the woman continued to complain about how she was being handled. He might be downstairs. His car might be downstairs. >> Dave, let me check. >> I don't even do anything. >> Um, this is hurting my arm. I didn't do anything. >> You want to fix them? >> I'm trying to make you as comfortable as possible, but you got to relax. Okay. You're getting yourself amped up. >> Listen. Bend forward. Bend forward. >> I just >> relax. Okay. to control the situation and keep her calm while clearing the area around them. >> No. Somewhere else, please. Somewhere else, please. >> Somewhere else, please. Thank you. >> All right. She's under arrest. Yeah. >> For charge. >> Well, yeah. So, stuff that happened up in the air is one thing, but then she obstructed. She resisted on the ground. So, >> his victims, they want to push charges. >> Are they over there? >> They are over there. >> Okay. You me here? Going to reach out. >> No, we're good here. We're just bringing the keys. He's bringing the keys. Sorry. Yeah. >> Why do I have to go in the back and forth? >> When deputies spoke to passengers, she gave a different version. She claimed she became irritated by the noise and said the passengers were being loud on purpose. That combined with her behavior during detention gave deputies enough to move forward. >> Instead of trying to find some way to solve it, they didn't sitting from >> right behind me. >> Okay. They Okay. When you say they, who's they? >> Both of the guys. Both those two guys. Okay. Okay. >> Right behind And guess what? They speak English. I didn't even know that. You know what they telling me in English? They talk among each other to poke me for me to turn around and say something. They was like, "Oh, shut up or you be quiet." And speaking Spanish louder. And you know how Spanish sound. >> Imagine how Spanish sound. I'm not knocking. I love Spanish. I was saying I'm Florida. >> Look, I go mito. I know Spanish a little bit, but that get we on a plane. You're not even being mindful. Like I said, as we in the plane, it's already blocking my ears. >> I got to hear you. Like I said, I'm not saying shut up completely. >> All right. cuz everybody else on the plane talking, but you didn't hear. >> So he didn't they didn't put their hands on nobody. You didn't put your hands on nobody. >> Nobody threw anything. It wasn't water getting splashed around or anything stupid like that. >> I just know I got I had a ball in my hand got aggravated. I thought they just threw it in the air. I don't know. I just got aggravated. I didn't hit nobody. >> Okay. >> I didn't know. >> I was just like, "Yeah, I just like you know what I'm saying? Like they like can I just like whatever." >> So everybody's getting louder >> because I talked to them first. They didn't I reported it. They didn't do nothing about it and they came back to their seat and got louder and poking me. And I'm trying to tell you they they blocking that part where they did. They came back to the seat >> and start talking louder and and this is what they said. Oh, you be quiet. They said it in English. >> That part right there. You be quiet in English. And then they start speaking more in Spanish and stuff. >> Exactly. >> Specifically, >> and my she was trying to sleep before she got involved. She was trying to sleep. And there was another girl, the one that walked away. She's real quiet. He said she's quiet, but she can tell you herself. >> Right. >> They was being rude. And he's playing victim right now. And I'm not knocking y'all playing victim, right? >> But stop playing victim. You started the whole thing. Like, I'm not understanding that. >> You on a plane. Y'all pay for your legs to get space. I pay for a a a peaceful plane trip. Like, I'm not understanding that. >> Okay. >> In the end, she was placed under arrest for resisting an officer without violence.
