2022 a 59-year-old woman named Cynthia Roland caused a loud and disruptive scene in public the police were called because Cynthia was yelling offensive words related to racist people the officers tried to diffuse the situation asking Cynthia to leave the area due to her disruptive behavior Cynthia however was uncooperative repeatedly questioning why she couldn't Express her racial identity teenagers upon arrival the officers began the incident inquiry Angela was quick to explain her side of the story she claimed she was fed up with the teenagers who constantly harassed her by walking past her car in response she admitted to flipping them off she continued to show the teenagers as aggressive claiming they attempted to confront her physically and even tried to push a shopping cart said that the teenagers often teased and bothered her in the parking lot she remembered being in her usual parking spot by a pole when this happened she talked about how the teenagers acted in a way that she found provocative like taking off their shirts and coming close to her in a scary way however according to the report the teenage Harris Darnell and Velasquez DeAndre were simply walking to the store to buy snacks when the incident occurred Angela started the argument by honking at them using a bad word about their race and trying to hit them with her car Angela maintained that she only reacted after the teenagers approached her car she insisted that she did nothing to start the confrontation and only swerved her car to avoid hitting them the officers following the procedure asked for her identification to further investigate the incident I didn't start nothing and come at here him until he started coming at me towards my car don't come at me okay did they hit your vehicle or mentioned that one of the teenagers approached her car with a shopping cart prompting her to start her car or and drive towards him swerving at the last moment so then you them walking towards you with a car I'm just trying to replay this okay I just flip them off cuz I get tired of their [ __ ] they're always taunting me so you just saw themand up so you saw them walking randomly and you just other officer to understand both sides of the story when another officer arrived Angela repeated her story despite her insistence the officers took into account the seriousness of her actions including her attempt to use her car as a weapon and her use of racial slurs but he still didn't still kept going of but they're still running like a taking off their shirts come on come on and then this the one in the black goes over there grabs the car by the awning uhhuh about to hit me get my car when I'm parked over here again so I start up my car when he grabs the car come and walking like this towards it with be so I started on my start charging it but I swerved out of the way of the car moment said [ __ ] when you driv were you hurt him or no but don't come okay all right go turn around back you're under arrest for AG my cat huh your cat yeah are you cheating NOP absolutely not see no I don't want listen I told you we had two sides of the story ma'am I didn't know their side I
