Different family members were rotating to take care of the grandmother, but no one clearly communicated who would be there and when. If there is a no contact or protection order in place, it is not just about one specific house. It applies wherever the protected person is. But I don't If she can't have something She was Like Like I explained to your sister, the no the no contact order or protection order or whichever one or whatever it is, it's based upon where she is, not necessarily the a domicile. So, I gave the example of if she's at Kroger and you go to This is a scenario. I'm not saying this is and you go to Kroger to confront her about something, that would then be you violating that. But But from what I understand Uh no, not technically, no. But But this is your situation. You you were here already. From his point of view, it sounds like a misunderstanding that turned into a fight once emotions took over. The man also seems to suggest that another family member is making the situation worse instead of helping calm it down. Then we can't argue with that. That I don't I don't want that to escalate to that point cuz at the end of the day, this is I'm essentially someone's going to have to make the executive decision to diffuse this. I mean, right now we have it Right now we have it diffused to the extent of y'all are in here, they're out there. And you want to know my my suggestion? Based upon what I can see, uh the problem, and I'm not saying you are the problem, but it seems like this situation will dwindle down if you just left. I'm not telling you to leave. It's not her address. It's It's not my address, but I but I when when the police came, they told me I need that paperwork though. Yeah. Is it Am I able to like Because if I even tell y'all like to my cuz it's at my house for sure. Um It doesn't help with anything now because so, is the unintentional of you two coming across? But if he is supposed Has he ever been He's been served it obviously. He's been served. At the same time, the woman makes it clear she does not actually want him to be arrested. She just wants distance [music] and for things to stay calm. That puts the officer in a difficult position. So, if he refused to go to court, so I just gave it to him. If he's not supposed to be at this address and he knows he's not supposed to be here, then I would technically have to arrest him regardless. Yeah, technically and that's why I've been trying to cuz I actually everything. I don't have anything but that's what I've been trying to avoid because I know that I can get him arrested and that's not what I want. That's not where my heart is. I truly genuinely don't want him to be arrested. I genuinely don't. I genuinely just don't want to be bothered. Yeah. I have to follow what a judge orders. Genuinely and that's why I've been trying to avoid I don't want to call the police. The prescription type of thing. I've already talked to my sergeant and told him it was an unintentional type of thing and I was going to talk to Mr. Johnson to see if he'll go ahead and go. As long as he's willing to leave and not be around her, I won't have to take him to jail tonight. If he refuses to leave, I'm going to have to take him to jail because then he's allowing himself to be around her and I'm going to have to take him. And like I said, I don't have the picture of it, but am I able to email it to y'all or something? No, just get a physical copy of it that way if you run into this again or something. And keep it on me at all times. Okay. Because I I I really need to see it if I'm going to you know, make an arrest on everything. She's telling me you don't want me to anyway. As the officers continue sorting out who is who, they also try to keep the focus on the grandmother. That is the one thing everyone seems to agree on. What are we doing Mr. Johnson? She's trying to tell me that the address that's listed on there is the place that you're not supposed to be around. I don't know. I can't verify if it is. You need to get that cleared up before you come back over here, okay? Because it's like this close to me having to take you to jail. The officers also explain what could happen next. If proper paperwork confirms that the order was violated, it may not lead to an arrest right there, but it could result in a warrant later. That means even if things calm down tonight, this situation could still come back with legal consequences. I haven't been to a call and use of protection or leverage in a while. Yeah. I don't particularly like I don't like those. It was to the point normally I can come to conclusion on what the disturbance is is about, but on this one I can't really understand what they're arguing about. The disturbance is about Them and You're welcome. The disturbance is She wants to stay here, but they want to stay here, but she isn't going to stay here with him with the protection order it was.
