I'm going to take somebody to jail. This man's put his hands on me more times than I can count. I have the bruises to prove it. >> What's What's going on today? Nothing. I didn't call. He did. Is he in the truck? >> He sure is. >> Okay. Didn't call though. He did. >> Okay. I'm going to do that. >> Can you explain to my partner what happened, please? >> to anybody what happened. >> All right. Hello, sir. 136 She's at it again. She's driving me She's trying to get me to hurt her. Essentially. I got her mom on the phone. How did it How did it How did it start? Yeah, I know. How did it start? I mean, she's just been drinking all day. She's I'm trying to get her like calm so she can go get her biopsy results on Tuesday. But she just loses it. And then she says all these insane things. And she posts them on Facebook. Like she's Add Amanda Walker to the card, please. She's posting on Facebook. Like I I don't know what to do. I try to protect her. What's she posting on Facebook? I mean, I don't even know. What is this? Jamie What? I don't even know what this is. It says, "I don't know if anyone told anyone, but I had a daughter. She's a whole different girl. Lauren James, Sean Lorenzo And we will never ever get over her because she is a little man who is not a joke to her own name. And she dials us up to money, baby. But she's like she's breaking all her own She's throwing stuff away in the trash. Like it's all like radiation stuff, like Like the world is over. Has she said anything about wanting to hurt herself today? No. Cuz she is covered in bruises. Cuz I tried to keep her away from me like 3 nights ago. 198 198 You're the one that caused this. 132 Where is his vehicle? You're a mother, you. Yes. I am going to eat you dad. Can you do anything? My ass, please. Turn back. Stand up. Stop leaning. I'm just staying here. Try. Sit down. Can you just give me one second to breathe, please? Sit down. Can you just wait? I will. I promise you I will. Can you just give me one second? Please. Let me catch my my breath, that's it. Please. I'm not fighting. I just want to breathe. She decided to fight the police officer. Sit down in the car. Can I have some water? >> in the car. >> Is that a no? It's a no right now. Sit down in the car. >> Sit down in the car before I make you sit down in the car. >> you in the car now. Put your feet in the car. Can I just have some water? Or can you fix my hair? And please, I'm like I can't breathe. >> I am sitting in the car. EMS is to come check you out for the whole can't breathe thing. I need you to put your feet in the car. Can you wipe my tears? Cuz I can't. Can you wipe my sweat? >> feet in the car. I will turn the air up so you stop sweating. I need you to put your I'm about to pull you into the car. I'd rather you do it than them. Please. I made a minute. I MADE A MINUTE. I DIDN'T GET MUCH THOUGHT OF HER STORY, BUT SHE KEPT WANTING TO COME up to me and touch me and you know. Other than she said he's putting his hands on her and she she has bruises from things. We're just over here. She's She's 25. She's She's been XPORTAINED. Heavily intoxicated. She drinks, which is also like I don't know. She's like older than that. She's But XPORTAINED did not really seem to help. She just had a biopsy. So they need to get that checked out to see if she's got cancer or something like that or something or not. So we were here the other night. She was having the same and she was she wasn't being compliant. She was just inventive. She was just Yeah, she she grabbed my elbow and I was like, "Do not touch me." >> Yeah, she didn't want anything so And I was like I was like, "If you touch me you're going to go in handcuffs." And she said, "Put me in handcuffs." I was like, "Okay." And then she was I grabbed her hands and put them behind her back. I'm just trying to decide if she's going to jail or the hospital or what we're going to do right now. I'm in 26. She's complaining or anything? Just calm down. Well, her mom She's on the phone with her mom, too. N4, 250, are you 26? Sounds good. I don't know what I'm doing. 41. Bye. This is So, what set her off? You want to know what set her off? We're literally sitting on the couch watching a movie. Yesterday I I was having so much anxiety. My chest was like tight. My mother-in-law's like, "You got to go to the Go to the doctor. >> doctor." Like, "You're probably going to have a heart attack." Like, "So much stress." So, I'm sitting on the couch hurting and she's like, "Should I take you to the the hospital yesterday?" I said, "No, you did not. You forced your way into the car with me." Came to the hospital with me. What are you doing? She came to the hospital with me and then left me at the hospital. And she's like, "So, you owe me a favor like you should say thank you to me." I'm like, "Say thank you?" Then she drove away. Ran out of gas somewhere in Pensacola. Had some random person give her gas and came home at midnight. >> Do you have any injuries from I don't have any injuries from like I have stuff from the other day. And like that's a bite mark. Okay. She bit my finger. This is from the day you guys came. When I wouldn't let her come out. You you know her better than I know her. Is this is she having like a mental She's got to be She's got to be in some sort of psychotic break. There's something with medicine. What is she Is she taking her medication? She's taking medication that I think she shouldn't have. Not helping? It's making it worse. Okay. She's diagnosed with She's taking Vyvanse. And then drinking She she smokes marijuana. Does she have any like We don't diagnosis of mentally ill? >> I've had her committed I've had her committed three times now. Right. And none of that helped? No, they just let her out. So, at this point it's like So, now I have to have her come home or put her on the streets. Like that's where she's at. I don't want to put her on the streets. I'm trying to be like as nice as I can. I don't know if she needs to go to jail. And we have like the child protective services >> to figure out what to do. If she needs to go to jail or if she needs to go to the hospital. I don't know if she's in I don't know. The hospital hasn't helped. She goes in there for 4 days. Well, it's it's if And then she's going to come back to me. And then she's just going to do this That's what I'm saying. It's it's if it's if there's intent behind She's trying to get me in jail. She makes me scared because she has bruises on her from when my mother allows her. She was throwing herself around, throwing dishes in front of our daughter. Is uh This collar the redness on your neck, is that from today? Yeah. Okay. Do you want EMS to look at any of that? No. Okay. I just want to figure this out. Okay. >> I don't want her to go to jail forever, but she there's got to be some consequences. Right now she doesn't care about anything. She needs to be forced to stop drinking if she's going to keep taking. None of that is anything that we can do. I know. You said CPS is getting involved? Yeah, they came to her daughter's daycare. She doesn't even She doesn't care. Is her daughter here? No. Okay. No kids here right now? There's no kids here. >> Okay. I mean, the only thing I've seen for no drinking is is from like a judge as a condition of release where you get arrested or from child protective services for custody. And that's the only time I've That's what I Honestly, that's at the point where I was hoping that child protective services is going to step in. Is it her kid or is it y'all's It's her kid. Okay. All right. We're waiting right now. EMS is on their way to come check her out because her lips are bleeding a little bit. Yeah. Have you thought about filing for an Well, have you thought about filing for an injunction? An injunction? Like where is she going to go then? So my guilt is always like, "Okay, so now she's where?" Well, there's still there's a line between taking care of her and taking care of yourself, though. >> I haven't been able to take care of She's been needing to use Yeah, honestly like Just for your This whole cancer thing is like literally something is something is going to be Right. And she just had a biopsy. She's got swelling in her Do you really know yet if it's No, we found out We're supposed to find out Tuesday. Okay. That sucks. Like there's nothing to do for him. Like going to this the mental place like it doesn't do anything. It doesn't do anything. Well, She needs to have like some sort of like The hard thing is if if she gets like Baker Acted or her next birthday or if she goes in there and she says, "No, I'm fine. I'm good." They're going to be like, "Okay. Have a good day." Right? >> comes right back home. She acts nice for a little bit and then she just loses it. Which isn't She's not like schizophrenic or bipolar or anything like that. She's just anxiety. >> We don't know if it's from the head injury. We don't know if it's from We don't know. How long ago did this start? This has been going on honestly since probably November. Okay. But she's had She's had symptoms like this from what I'm told for years. Okay. Has it been getting progressively worse or >> Worse. Okay. She's paranoid. She makes things up. Yeah, that Facebook sounded It's just like Like she posted this And then she sings it to me. Like she sent this to me last night. This is a Facebook thing. She said, "Can you walk to the fridge and get me something, please?" Mrs. Fusco is her husband and I couldn't beat her. He unfortunately has gone Who's Mrs. Fusco? Her. He's unfortunately gone and death. Please let him know. He goes by Brian. His first name is Brian or something. Were you guys both in the house? This is after she left me the hospital at midnight. Comes home. Tells me some random guy had given her gas to get home in her car. Okay. Are you sure you don't want EMS to look at anything? Did the Was it like a She started coming at it. What Yeah, what caused the redness on the neck though? Was like with her hand around your neck or like >> She came at me like this. Just like poking at it or like put punching or like choking. >> Yeah, she's just like coming at me to like She wants me to She wants me to restrain her. >> So she gets bruises. So then she can say, "You put your hands on me." Now I have bruises. Look at me now. I'm going to call the cops. I'm like, "I'm running down the street away from her." This neighbor comes out and is like, "What is going on?" She's like, "Call the cops! Call the cops!" I'm like, This neighbor or that neighbor? That one where the truck is. Did they see any of them the part in the road over here? Yeah, and then she came out in the street and started like showing her Yeah, I saw she was running around when I got here. All right. Let me talk to them and see what EMS has to say. I don't know if you if you heard that it's just going to be ALS fire. Advanced life saving fire because the county is at level zero of ambulances. They were last night. I was I was going to roll down the window and try to talk to her, but then she just kept on screaming at me and calling me names. She called you names? I'll I'll work I think she's going to sing at me the whole way up there. Hello. Okay. Did you see any of it? I saw some of it on camera. I was sitting in the garage. They were standing out here arguing, fighting, but she's coming out the house. Hopefully that way she can tell you. Mhm. Heard her yelling at him. And so I stepped out the front door just to see Mhm. you know, hey, what's going on? And y'all Right. So he was super calm, but I know sometimes guys are super calm like that and it's super creepy. Right. And she flat out told me I need help. Mhm. So I was like, okay. Um They I mean they were just walking down the street. They were Fighting? Like there's there's no physical fighting? >> No. Um Was either one walking after the other one? So he was following her Mhm. cuz she was walking this way and he was kind of behind her. But it wasn't like like nobody was chasing somebody. >> Right. It was like a calm pace. And really by the time I had come out, they stopped cuz I started talking to them. Um Nothing physical though? No. There was no physical I didn't see any weapons. I didn't see any aggression on either side. >> Okay. Like I could tell she's intoxicated. Mhm. But when she said that she needed help, I was like, well I don't know Right. but I can go inside and call the non-emergency Mhm. I didn't feel like it was an Right. emergency emergency because you guys definitely could come on out >> Yeah. and you know come have a chat. Okay. I saw her the other day. She was crying and stuff and she actually our neighbors had the trash cans out by the road. She actually went on to the other side of the trash cans, sat down in their yard and was crying with like Amazon packages in her hands. So Okay. I try not to get Oh. Mhm. I mean I wouldn't have stepped out if Yeah. If she wasn't No, I appreciate the good thing that you did. I appreciate it. She's going to appreciate it. Thank you. You guys have a good one. I filed some complaints reference domestic violence in the past, I know. Uh Law enforcement responded out to your residence in ref- in reference to her. Yeah. Have you ever sustained injuries, scratches, bruises, broken bones as a result of domestic violence? I mean, this one. Do you mind if I take a picture of your arm and your neck real quick? Have you ever received medical treatment for any of those injuries? No. And if you just >> [snorts] >> Just need a statement sure there that's the questions that I went through you're just telling me that you answered them honestly. We got that I'm going to go to whatever happens with this with the suspect taking off. Have I heard anything about it? Yeah. Um is this all done? That's all done. Um It's just a witness statement and victim notification. Um do you fear for her safe- for your safety if she's released? I think if she's going to get me arrested I think she's going to do something. Do you fear for your safety like like she's going to harm you in any way? Honestly, a little bit. These are just questions that the judge looks at when the judge is looking at whether or not to put a no contact at first appearance and all that. Um do you want the first appearance judge issue a no contact stipulation as a condition of the defendant's bond? No, I don't need a no contact. Do you plan to continue residing at the above listed address? Simple. Simple. Do you desire the defendant to be permitted to reside with you upon release? Yeah. This sucks for me. And then Basically this is just once she gets released in the morning they're going to give you a call and let you know. She has to be held till as is your judge. Oh, she did? Yes. Okay. So basically they'll call you and let you know that she has been released. Um usually they'll let you know whatever stipulations the judge has. If it's no contact or no violent contact or whatever the judge decides. Unless you don't want to be notified. So this can be signature of the victim right here. Well it's the judge can tell her she can't drink but I don't see it very often. No, but I don't I mean what do you think for honestly is going to happen? Like what? She's supposed to be judged for what? For her for a bond for bond conditions. So basically if you get arrested for domestic battery Is that what's going on right now? Yes. She's going to go to jail. God damn it, dude. So my concern with the Baker Act is like I'm like I understand something physical going on here. My concern with the Baker Act is that if she gets out in an hour and comes back home we're going to be back out the same >> I believe What's I don't I'm not going to come back here for another physical fight because the Baker Act's not solving anything. No, it didn't do anything. So if the hospital's continually releasing her from Baker Act and saying she's fine Yeah. So that's what I'm saying. Like I didn't even want to call you guys. It's really like just drinks It's just safety wise like both staying in the same house for the rest of the night's probably going to continue going on I know so I just feel like it just sucks like no where like she's mad that I'm here but like if I leave then you have to get You out of the streets. Do you want to write a written statement about what happened? It's up to you. You don't have to. All right. It's all recorded. Yep. Um do you have any questions for us? So, she's being charged with domestic battery? >> Yeah. What does that look like usually? So, it's a misdemeanor. It's battery, but it has a domestic attachment which because you guys are married and live together in the same house, it just means that she has to be held till first appearance till a judge can talk to her and that the judge will set a bond? Well, he'll read what you're answered on all these things and then he can do a signature bond or set a bond, but he can also do a no contact order or no violent contact order or usually >> like then cuz we live in the same house? If it's a no violent contact, no, she can't come back. If he If he The judge orders no contact, she can't come back here. If he orders no violent contact, then you guys are fine. She just She's got to stop. Yes. Um typically, um stipulations and bonds are um no drugs, no alcohol. So, like probation? Yes. He can put those. That's what he's going to have to He can put those on. He doesn't have to. It's up to the judge that reads everything. So, um >> Will you be able to testify? Not at first appearance. But, they'll call you later on. Um as far as the charge itself goes, it comes from us. It doesn't come from you. Since it's domestic, it's something that the state charges. Whether you want to press it or not, we press the charges so that you guys aren't continuing to stay in the same place where Yeah. there's a propensity for the violence to escalate later on tonight. So, that's where we're at. We're going to take her up there. Um She's in Okaloosa County? No, the uh Santa Rosa County. Yeah, that's the same way up in Milton then. All right. No, ma'am, you're going to jail. Why? For domestic battery and resisting with and without violence. She was charged with domestic violence, battery, and resisting with and without violence. She was sentenced to a 12-month pre-trial intervention program. Thanks for watching. Be sure to subscribe for more videos like this.
