Dad's still here so he That's her uncle. >> Oh, that's her uncle. >> Yeah. >> That's her uncle. >> So, does >> He was asking about taking So, >> take the girl, too? >> Well, he was asking what DCF said on the way so we're going to have to wait till they get here finally and make a decision about that and the other child. >> But, uh yeah, he said he asked about that. >> Yeah, we're DCF is on the way so >> Who else is here with you? >> far as patrol officer >> He's inside babysitting. So, >> So, he can stay for DCF and we'll hook her up and get her out of here. >> Yes, so >> Yeah, I haven't talked to her at all. >> Uh Mirandize her. And then get her statement. And I have um We'll put in a work order to have somebody come out and download the video tomorrow. The manager will be here between 11:00 and 4:00. So, we'll take care of that. >> And it's just the one child. It's child neglect. >> Like it's just one >> Yeah, it's failure to provide supervision. >> 827 >> I think. So, that that's what it falls under, the supervision. clothing, housing, those type of things >> has her other baby, right? >> Yeah, he's sitting in the car with the baby boy. Uh-huh. She don't know. I don't know. But, she's away from her family. I told her to leave her alone. Get out of the way so So, I'm going to turn this off. >> All right. I'm going to go talk to her. >> Stop recording. >> You have these rights against you in a court of law. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him present with you while you're being questioned. If you can't afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any questioning if you wish. And you can decide at any time to execute these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of these rights I've explained to you? >> Yes. >> Okay. And having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? Okay. So, what what happened tonight? What happened tonight? >> two minutes ago >> I mean, like start to finish. >> Okay, we was, you know, at my house, you know, chilling. >> Right. >> Which is where? Breckenridge. >> Okay. >> Yeah. And so, if you look at my uncle truck, them are speakers. I left my house to meet him. And then, not only that, I had to meet my other uncle, too. >> Okay. >> You know, he said it was an emergency, but it was not an emergency. >> Okay. >> So, boom, I left that uncle and went to that uncle, which is in Landfair. And then, when I got like by downtown, well, when I got I'm going to drive somewhere. I was in Landfair, but me and my uncle came back outside cuz I had went in the house, you feel me? When I came back outside, he was like, "What you I was like, "Oh, chilling in the car with my daddy girlfriend." >> So, that's after you had come here? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And I was like, "Oh, chilling in the car with my daddy girlfriend and, you know, the other girl." She was like, "Okay, okay." My uncle asked the same thing, you feel me? Well, when we leave out, I get down by downtown, that's when my neighbor text me. He was like, "Is everything okay? Cuz the police asked me about you." I'm like, "Huh?" So, I called her, and then that's when I told her to give y'all the phone so I could talk to y'all. >> Okay. >> 716911. >> So, at any point, like, what happened when you guys went in the store? >> When we went in the store, I took my baby directly to the bathroom. >> Mhm. >> You feel me? I told her to lock the door. >> Okay. >> You feel me? I told her, "Don't come unless you hear me or >> Okay. >> You feel me? Cuz she smart, you know, she know she not supposed to talk. >> 61922. >> You feel me? So, boom, >> 26911. >> before I even got out of the car, >> One second, one second, one second. >> and before we even got here, I had already told You feel me? I'm going to pay for like >> gas. >> What all y'all need out the store? I'mma buy that. Bought everybody everything they needed out the store. Came out the store. >> 711. >> I took BM, which is I took her to the right bag cuz her stuff was in there or whatever. And I got back in my car, and then we left. When we pulled in here, we parked over there. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> And you got out of the car and what? >> I got out the car and I went in the store. Took BM to the bathroom, and I went to the counter. >> Okay. So, out the store and then I went to And I was like, "You good. Just make sure you stay behind me cuz they going to follow you getting in the car with them." She was like, "Okay." >> So, when you walked in the store, you all went in together or separate? >> No, she told me that she told me that she was going to freak the black and then she was coming in. That's why I mentioned it to them. I said, "It's crazy because come to find out she never went in the store cuz >> I don't know these girls' names. So, >> Miss the big girl. >> The girl with the cut shorts? >> Yeah, that's her. >> The the skinny girl? >> The the skinny girl, I don't know her. That's I don't know. >> Okay. >> So, how do you know Anne? >> That's my dad's girl. >> Okay. >> Okay. I went to the counter cuz I told her if I don't come back to the door to come back to the door to get out because she was going to get in the car with >> Where were these two when you were at the counter? >> The ones that came in with you. >> Yeah. >> Big girl and the skinny girl. I don't know them. I don't know them. I don't know. >> Where were these two when you were at the store when you left? >> I'm not too sure cuz I was, you know, between thinking >> So, you don't know if they were in the store outside the store? >> No, cuz wasn't even supposed to come in the store. She was supposed to sit in her car, you feel me? Because I was pumping her gas. I was paying for everything she wanted. She already told me everything she wanted, you feel me? >> So, who was supposed to take your child then? >> My dad's girlfriend. >> The one that didn't get out of the car at all. >> Yeah, come to find out she never even >> when did you tell her to do that? >> I had told her before I even got out the car. And before we even made it here, we had already said, you know, where we going and >> So, back at Berkeley, y'all talked about who was taking her to >> and everything about everything. Cuz she was already watching my kids at Berkeley because I was sitting outside with them. Her and that girl, they was already, you feel me, on my stairs, you know, sitting chilling, kids watching kids. And I was sitting in the parking lot cuz I I too busy bothering with the music in my car. That's why I had, you know, mentioned that. I ended up taking it out my car, putting it in my mom's car. Yeah. >> What? >> About taking the child. >> Yeah, that you guys never had that conversation. We did though. She had no She was like that's why That's why she didn't even get out the car. >> You can even ask >> I don't know who that is. Big Lots of girls. Yeah. Yeah, all three of them are saying that you didn't ask anybody to watch her. >> No, I didn't ask them to to watch her. I had only asked them >> Right. I'm saying I'm saying all of them said you didn't ask anybody or anyone. >> But that's a lie though. Not only that, you feel me? You see how she came up smiling and stuff. So, if you ask me, she done did drugs or something. But she wasn't like that. >> trust her to watch your kids? >> I'm just saying she wasn't like that. When all of us together, she was not like that. When she just got out the car and y'all said what you smiling for and stuff and I said what I said, she wasn't like that. At all. >> Ultimately, you're responsible for your child. Right? You're required to provide supervision. You're required to provide a roof over their head, food, clothing, and all that. So, if you expect somebody to take care of your child, you should at least make sure that they have custody of your child. Right? Does that make sense? >> Rather than leaving a 3-year-old just locked in the bathroom, you need to make sure that with her before you're going to walk away and then leave the whole store. Especially if you're going to be in and you're not going to know who's traveling with who. And just expecting a to jump into somebody's car that's not yours, you know? So, she was in the bathroom just crying. And the cashier had no idea. Like, he thought that she was in there with a parent or something and then it wasn't until they went over and she opened the door for them and she was alone. But I mean, I've been here with her for a minute. So I don't know when you realized >> Were you here for >> No, no, no. >> after you guys left. >> That's the thing. I had been Me and You can even ask. And you can ask my uncle. My uncle said, "Where's she?" I said, "She She's in the car with my dad's girlfriend." They don't even ask me. I said, "She She's in the car with my dad's girlfriend." They said, "Okay." I would have never knew nothing if my neighbor didn't text me. And I'll even show y'all. >> You ever been in trouble before? >> Like for fraud, not for like little child neglect or robbery. That was 2021. >> You done with all that? Still going through the courts or you're on probation? >> I'm on probation. >> You're on probation? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> So I know you said you've never been in trouble for child neglect or anything. Tonight you are being arrested for child neglect, okay? So just put your hands behind your back. >> Turn around. Don't say anything. >> Really? Okay. Can I talk No, no, no. Can I talk to my baby mama? >> No, well, I think the phone's off. You can talk to her when you get to the cop, okay? >> What do you mean? >> Turn around. >> Put your hands behind your back. Just listen to what she's telling you. Once you Once you listen to her, just follow her directions for right now, and when that's done, then you'll get to ask your questions. >> give me a chance. Like can y'all just give me a Facebook something? Like please. >> The cops are going to come out. They're going to be talking to you. >> I know, but >> They're on their way right now. >> I know, but please, can y'all >> just do that instead of taking me to jail? Please. >> That gentleman over there, that's the uncle? >> That's my uncle. >> Your uncle? >> Yes. >> So let me ask you this, okay? is coming, okay? Um as far as your child as far as your child is concerned, if says they can go with your uncle, would you be okay with that, or do you have somebody else you would rather she Is that your other boy, too? Is that a boy? That's yours as well? So you have no problem with them going with your uncle if DCF says that's okay. Okay. >> Okay. Can you please like >> So, you want you're wanting to call somebody? >> No. >> Yeah, he >> Okay. We're going to walk that way. >> No, can you I don't want to talk in front of nobody. >> Okay. Yeah, that's fine. >> Yeah, let me speak to let's stand right here. >> Okay. >> As soon as DCF gets here we'll work all that out, okay? So, you just asked me I said they they may get with you as far as getting the character. >> She said she has no problem with the children her son going with you. >> Yeah, as long as DCF doesn't >> As long as DCF doesn't have an issue I don't have any You don't have any open cases or ever been DCF's ever had any problems with anything? Okay. We just have to make sure they're okay with it. >> Are you hanging up my phone? >> Yeah. You okay? >> I just want that thing. Oh. Y'all really think I would just leave my child with let my child >> You did. >> I didn't. >> Okay. >> I'll roll down the window so that her uncle can come over. >> She was charged with child neglect and a probation violation.
