suspects in a stolen vehicle occupied
four times driving recklessly blowing
stop signs in residential areas but the
pursuit called off instead tracked via
helicopter with stop sticks authorized
to slow their speeds they were
successful in avoiding the stop sticks
the only downside was slamming into the
concrete wall if you play it back you'll
notice just tons of dust as the air bigs
deploy really doing a nice job
protecting the occupants given the
speeds involved and going head on into a
concrete is never never good we'll get
to their injuries just a moment as this
plays out but first listen into the
dispatch audio as they try to coordinate
getting all four of these individuals

watch again the deployment of the stop
sticks which proved to be an extremely
effective deterrent in this case very
tough to watch anyone hit a concrete
wall at that angle and speed depth has
presence of mind to get the stop sticks
back out of the roadway and while all
four individuals ran in this instance
they had serious real injuries related
to this incident they're pumped full of
adrenaline and full-on flight or fight
but they quickly realize they're in no
shape to truly attempt an escape all
four detained by police and it will take
hours or a day for them to fully realize
the significance of their injuries given
just how severe this impact was
thankfully in this instance it's only
the driver and passengers of the stolen
vehicle that are injured
