to make money just to get by as best as

yeah but because when we moved over here
we thought it was gonna be so crazy
and everything was getting worse and
worse
i couldn't find a job he couldn't find a
job
and then um it's got getting a little
bit more complicated and more
complicated
and then i started working
oh really where'd you start working at i
said looking at the
well first it was taking care of a lady
and then here and then i
that was not enough we needed to pay
more bills
so i found a job in las cruces
i was falling asleep all the time
because
it was the drive back and forth was
pretty far away and it was a lot of
hours
and one day i was flying like i was
getting
and the following day i said no because
what happened something happened so i
called in
and then i didn't show up to work one
more
maybe that was like two weeks ago a week
and a half were the kids going to school
are they doing online kind of like
everybody's kind of stuck in the
zoom and doing all that stuff and
they're doing okay muscle menos
like everybody else kids said to get
them to log in or the internet to work
right okay especially
so you mentioned lauda that um omar been
acting kind of strange last few weeks
you can
explain that
be honest with us it started like two
months
but like when i noticed something like
when i stepped out
step open oh yes no no no
when i put my foot put your foot down it
was like a month ago
and i was getting tired and i was
getting tired
do you know where it was going no he
would never tell me he would just stay
calm come back take off come back take
off come back
we take off for a long time a few hours
a few days it just depends
no he will always come back to sleep
that was a big no so he made sure he got
home every night
yeah which is one time that he didn't
come back you know
okay and that's what was like a major
fight
it was there it was because of that
last night did he did he stay at home
yes he was at home
okay he said that he was gonna change
that he was gonna change to give him
time that he was gonna change
to give him time that it was just a
process that he was going through right

was he just stressed because like you
said like the bills and money and the
kids and just a little bit of everything
well it seemed like i was more stressed
than him to be honest
he was stressed he's been stressed
he's answered what were some of the
things he was telling you
like what like the stuff that he was
stressed about was he telling you like
he was worried about the bills worried
about paying the bills making money
finding a job
things like that you know what the only
thing that he
that he was stressed out was because of
the spell support
yeah you mentioned other kids in
california

the child support was stressing him big
time
but i think it was more distressed that
i was going to stress and i was
like on him all the time and lick out of
here like hey we got to do something
he was snapping and getting mad more
frequent more than
normal and then he said let's move
let's move out of here because i guess
since we moved here
it's been chaos for us for our
relationship
over here

no he would get mad at me every time
you know i i would say something or do
something
so he would get mad when uh you know if
i did something or i was waiting for him
or
he would come in and
things like that no and when he
expresses himself he's always expressing
himself mad he's always mad
and he's been like that in the last
couple of months the last two months
he's been pretty angry
was he ever violent because one time he
got really mad at my son
just like that but nothing nothing bad
but just like regular like discipline
like um
spanking just to kind of chill him out
yes just like that but he never
you know all he did was just yell and
say bad things
to the kids but nothing you know
physical really
he talked to everybody the same so he
didn't talk to you different than the
kids to his friends to everyone else he
just talked like he talked
about yeah when he when he would get mad
he would just say things
like very rude mean like
without a filter you know he would just
say things
and mean and at the moment
he never raised his hand at me uh he was
actually a good man i mean
i think back even from the time
he came to california he's always really
been a good man
just doing everything to kind of help
you guys just
until this morning you have no problems
uh we didn't really have problems but
recently
you know when i used to come home he
would always be there
like most men just jealous
yeah so i didn't know what he was doing
he would never take me with him
the only time he would take me with him
is when we used to go pick up the cars
so he would just take me to you know he
bought a car he would take me with him
but most of the time
you know he didn't take me he would
think about taking me
with him but most of the time you know
everything would happen when i was
asleep
he would do things when i was asleep
so he would go in and out while i was
asleep and i would
not know when he was leaving or coming
and i would open my eyes and sometimes i
would see him living
and i would get tired and sleepy and i
would go to sleep and then i would wake
up and i would notice
he wasn't there anymore
so these are these following questions

how it was where you were when you were
living with omar
did you ever see him with weapons
which one was that i bought one because
he was always bugging me to buy one and
buy one
i never really wanted to buy one because
in california
why there's no reason to buy one
it never really crossed my mind to buy a
handgun
and he would tell me just buy one
because you know we live in a ranch and
there's always animals wild animals
and i did and you know there was animals
like coyotes and he says yeah there's a
lot of coyotes he says yeah
i there was a lot of coyotes and there
was one time i heard them
that they were real close by and he told
me yeah
just buy a weapon and you know just to
make sure that the
animals are outside and at the end yeah
we did and we bought
a weapon what did you buy
i bought a hangar
i bought it here right over here uh
can't remember the name
is right next to walmart
there's punch up okay and the weapon
where's it
now i save it i keep it safe in a box
the bugs that it came with
the box that i bought it with have two
little locks where you can lock it
i didn't see it it was always
i kept it like right next to me like you
know close to me so that i can have it
during the night but i went looking for
it and i
could not see it i didn't see it there
anymore
and really i didn't go looking for it
because you know it's always been there
but
you can look for it
that you don't know about
i didn't see any guns mostly what i saw
were bullets
rounds for
a big weapon or a small weapon i don't
know
but they were not for the nine
she says i don't know anything about
weapons i'm not sure
well he says well you know for nine
they're small but for a rifle they're
bigger
like this size yeah i saw them i saw the
the rounds

i knew that he had been arrested he told
me he had been arrested
but i didn't know i knew that he had
been in a
safe house at one time
he was not on probation was he on parole
on probation at any time
no well when he got out of the safe
house
he was placed on probation
yeah i think he was on probation for one
year when he got out
yeah he completed he finished his
probation and then he asked oh
when he he did complete his probation
yes when we got here he was no longer
on probation
i'm not sure i don't know much about it
the time that he was arrested did he
tell you that he left that life
or did he say anything
no yeah he said it was all over that
he left it behind he that he reflected
and
he was going to start all over that he
was going to but
focus on his family
medical
but any drugs besides marijuana
yeah it was mostly his head you know
that is just
he would uh complain that it was
exploding and he would fall
to the ground in agony from having pain
in his head and he would use
like heavy medicine just to give it for
the headache just maybe a few times or
once
just for the his headache
did he hide the kids when he was using
drugs
so they didn't see no he only asked me
to do that at once
so it wasn't something that he would use
every day did he use cocaine
heroin
so the majority of the time he was okay
he was
saying he wasn't
did he drink a lot when we lived over
here yes
every day every day from morning to
night just you know he never really got
crazy you know like real drunk
and when he when he would when he would
drink every day you know i would
be on him and i would tell him and
try to tell him that that's not
what he should be doing
okay so apart
from what we've been talking what
happened this morning
i received a call and then
he would leave and

and then he started driving a yukon and

all i know is that it was white
