follow the first kill
me Myrtle the stadium with someone
trying to steal something stop police
stop
you're sorry were you
no I was just thinking about it Merlin
Stadium someone trying to steal shine
let's walk back over that sign
I'm sorry okay
so uh
I have to read you something because
you're not free to go obviously
Okay so
you'll write your main sign do you
understand
anything you say it can be used against
you in a court of law do you understand
you have the right this time to talk to
a lawyer and have a present with you
while you're being questioned you
understand it's been on afford to hire a
lawyer one will be a point to represent
you before questioning if you wish do
you understand
you can decide at any time to actually
rights exercise these rights and I'll
answer any questions or make any
statements do you understand
and do you understand Jesus he was
rights I've explained to you
okay
so you're trying to steal a sign how
many bolts you get out uh zero you got
zero bolts out yeah they're all up there
if you want to check where's the tool
wrenches
you are under arrest for attempted theft
all right remain silent right to an
attorney
boom in front of zero
one in custody attempted theft
generating a case
what's that
I'll make sure your phone gets where it
needs to go
just hang on
that's how you're being unusually
recorded
well no I know now you're double sure
you can just real loose on you I'm gonna
trust that you don't try to slip out of
them
hello
first of all
second of all well it's not okay second
of all
I'm just going to get her a citation and
then I'll release her right here okay
okay I hope you didn't encourage her to
do this
you probably told her not to
and yet here she is
let's go this way
this look at my car do you have anything
on you that would stick me stab me poke
me anything like that
my hand
okay
back my hand
it's pretty feet
thank you back my hand
I don't think
we're going
to face my vehicle
nope you're not getting in the front oh
my goodness
should not commit to a life of crime
because you're terrible at it go this
way okay have a seat from back for me
while you're arming back my vehicle you
are being honoring this is recorded do
you understand
and you understand do you understand the
rights I explained to you earlier do you
need me to read them to you again you
know what they are okay
you have an ID in your wallet
perfect
okay
while it works all figured out though no
I figured it out
that is intuitive
Stephanie what were you planning on
doing with the sign when you stole it
yours what
a souvenir
do you know someone named Myrtle or
Stadium
what's that
oh
a souvenir of your time on the street
hello Sergeant Harris hello
you're not going to believe this but
Stephanie just wanted a souvenir
a beautiful beautiful street sign
you can see the intricate setup there
been arrested before Stephanie
what no no oh that's good
well how's your experience so far
what's that
is that that's the plan
probably a good one
okay
[Applause]
I got cords everywhere in there it's a
catastrophe
[Music]
okay I'll step to the sidewalk here
this gentleman passes
all right
[Applause]
okay
all right so
what we have here is a criminal Citation
for attempted theft Third Degree
okay so you're going to make sure to
read this in its entirety I just went
over for the quarter listed right there
you should get some correspondence in
the mail to the address you provided in
regards to a court date the school will
also be notified of this
can't try to steal
and we can't try to steal this badly
because you will obviously be caught
well good night please collect your
ladder and don't steal signs
you too
I can't believe I caught her
I was driving by I'm [ __ ] stupid I'm
driving I'm like man I bet someone stole
that side and she's putting it back and
then I was like wait a second that's
stupid
[Music]

something for tonight
[Music]
[Music]
