hey guys welcome back to the channel the
video that i have for today
is going to feature an incident where
officers decided to use a taser
to subdue a suicidal man who had a knife
the video that you're going to see is
going to be a textbook example
of when and how to use the taser
if you saw the video that i made
recently about
the rules that officers follow when
deciding whether or not to use a taser
you'll see that in this incident the
officers had the perfect
time distance barrier lethal force
backup
and believed that the taser was a
reasonable use of force
another thing that you'll see in this
video that
i don't believe is often pointed out and
i often see this mistake being made
by police officers during uses of force
but these officers did it correctly is
that they
placed the man in handcuffs while the
taser was still
under power that's something that a lot
of people aren't aware of
and a lot of people miss that's about
all i have to say about this incident

he's been real sad lately he's going
through a court case
he goes back to court february 3rd i'm
gonna have to call his pioneers he'll
know what happened let him know he's in
the hospital
he's on house arrest yeah so what's that
for
um he's going through a case from april
25th of last year
for what um i was told not to talk about
it through from its attorneys
but it had to do with the case it's
public record well it had to do with the
top shooting april 25th
okay on oakland park if you know
anything about that okay
the cop shot him twice in the wrist once
kill shot to the leg
shut him yeah and once in a mile okay
but i don't i don't know what you're
good i'm gonna yeah i don't know what's
been going on with him lately
but i'll tell you if you could like if
you could jot down on a piece of paper

name social anything like that if we
can't find his id
okay that way we have it with us ma'am

night where he was cutting himself
he just cut it out he just got himself

maybe right when he cut himself i called
nine more trying to cut his
ankle bracelet off no okay he was trying
to harm himself because
he his family and everybody says he's
been on house arrest and all his friends
have been distant
okay like his friends aren't coming over
you know his dad hasn't talked to him
it it it's all about feelings okay yeah
like we're all going through right now
where'd he cut himself at and that front
leg right there in the front
that's why i said it's bad where's he
cut it maybe we got the pressure on
here
it's not much of a cut it's not bleeding
now so we're just going to leave it
alone so we don't aggravate it
i'm gonna put my number down on here too

know what happened

hospital so that he has a number for you

is that's where because he had
no they'd be so crowded with people
right now they only let us take them to
certain places

know he had he's had brain surgery and
everything
and i wish she was the only one who
deals with him okay
she wears her medic i don't know brother
that's coming from pretty far i know

he was my childhood best friend like i
know them but she called me
they had to chase him i beg you not to
shoot
him because he won't put the knife down
he tried to cut his throat with it
luckily he just got a little scratch
if he went in he probably would have
suicidal he's supposed to be on
depression medications which i'm sure he
hasn't been taking like he's supposed to

so he's got a hole in his leg here just
a little cut tried to cut his necks
he's got a scratch on there he's been
tased a lot of blood
he tried to slice his throat there but
it looks like he just got a scratch
across the left side yeah do you know
what hospital you guys are going to take
him to
all his doctors and everybody's at osu
he has seizures
meningitis everything well
he's going to have to go he's going to
get pink slipped at the very least
yeah yeah he's on house of russ so i got
to call p.o in the morning
well we're just going to take him to the
closest facility okay okay where is that
riverside riverside to work with us they
don't like pig slips very well at st
if you guys don't mind yeah we'll work
with that
let me wrap this leg up real quick
and uh where's his other barbs in his
chest
yeah if you can get him out that'd be

i think they notified i didn't think
he's been like that since he since i got
back

he'll hold his breath and like stop

i have oxygen on my oxygen at night so i
put my oxygen on him
when did all that start um right when i
uh
people started acting like that like a
little like
10-15 minutes before i called the
ambulance
and then when i've seen them going
established like that's what i called
you guys

for us he probably ain't going to be
able to
i had to literally take him off the
thing and then lay him in the bed before
he
put your legs just like this
all right you can walk back for some
clothes for him here to take two so i
have some clothes
make sure nothing's in there shouldn't
