the video for today shows officers
responding to a call about an accident
on the side of the freeway
when the officers arrived on scene they
observed the vehicle was unoccupied and
it soon after discovered that it had
recently been stolen the way this
vehicle was
crashed or
stuck on the side of the road required a
little extra work from the toe tuck
drivers
which included a chainsaw
this isn't the type of thing the public
gets to see very often
and i thought it would be appropriate to
give these men
some credit for the hard work that they
do on a daily basis
with all that being said

our dispatcher and i was like can you
get forestry out here to with a chainsaw
i didn't know if they had one yeah and
first guy showed up and he called for

he's like yeah we can basically lift
that car up and carry it anywhere we
want but they brought a chainsaw anyway
they had one ready
it's not their first time running into
something like this i suppose

i boomed over top of the trailer with
straps
to pick it up so when it's coming out of
the ditch don't try to roll over another
guy winched it and he scoots it up one
step farther
did he just lose control or have to
swerve to avoid something off the road
i always say they just ran out talent

they're pretty cool i've there's some
i've seen some youtube channels that
they just post their dash cam
bad drivers
yeah they face you
all these guys that work here
i don't want them looking at them
you can't breathe
that camera pointing at you
but if you if somebody runs a red light
and you t-boned
yeah
well it's just like our cameras
i mean these cameras have saved more
officers than they've heard
we rarely don't do the right thing
you're a bad officer you're just a bad
officer yeah
and if you're a bad officer you're just
not going to activate your camera
simple as that
you're going to get [ __ ] anyway yeah
they can't save you if you don't
activate your camera yeah it's like well
there was your first mistake
if you got it on and you've messed up we
can mitigate that
one else over
here that you're afraid to have at all
if you're not there are times that
people forget i've forgotten before but
it's rare
