occurred at columbus police headquarters
on april the 13th 2021

this incident occurred in response to an
officer-involved shooting that happened
the day before
the officer-involved shooting that
happened the day before was the incident
at st
anne's hospital where officers were
trying to take a man
into custody who had a handgun on him
and fired that handgun at officers
two separate times during the incident
the officers returned fire
and killed the man the response from the
community
or at least the community the portion of
the community
that we're going to see in this video
was to go
and attempt to protest against the
police's action
on this evening a group of highly
diverse individuals
gathered outside of columbus police
headquarters
they forced their way in through the
doors somehow removing a pair of
handcuffs that had the doors secured
when the officers responded telling
these people to leave the premises
immediately
the officers were met with pepper spray
and an individual who was carrying
some form of billy club
that individual is hunter matin
he struck a columbus police sergeant in
the face
with his billy club and was subsequently
arrested for aggravated burglary as well
as a few other charges
which i have a good idea of what they
are but i haven't seen them in black and
white so i'm not going to list them now
that's about all i have to say about
this incident
so i hope you enjoy this video i hope
