I'll Uber my job right there and I'm not getting >> you're not leaving. >> When someone receives food, drinks, or lodging with no ability or intent to pay, that can turn into what's commonly treated as defrauding an inkeeper or obtaining food or services with intent to defraud. Now, basically, the issue isn't just being broke. It's whether the person knowingly accepted the service while having no realistic way to pay for it. I'm not Ubering a ride. I'm Ubering food myself. >> Go ahead. Do whatever you want. I'm going to Uber myself. >> You said Uber yourself? >> Yeah. Food right there. He's not here to pay the bill, right? >> No, I'm not. >> He's not here to pay the bill. >> Nope. >> Yes. I'm going to do what's going on right now. >> Can I go then? >> Can I go then? My brother's a Navy still. I like He got cops said, "Well, can he pay your bill?" I like that. I like those cops. Um, he needs to go. He Terry said, "I need closed caption." He Yeah, he ain't saying much, but yeah, I'mma turn it on for you. It's almost over, but I'll still turn it on for you. This is very embarrassing. So, he's trying to go through Uber Eats to pay Dean. I can't I can't even make sense to him. I thought he was trying to call a Uber to get money from his hotel or something. >> I'm good. >> Get the camera. Sorry. Sorry. Walker. Not a needle. No, I don't do that. You check my arm so you can take my shirt off. I'll show you my names on my arm. literally a tattoo in case when I go to Jamaica, someone cuts my head off. His dad's not coming back. >> So, he was charged with one count of fraud, which is a misdemeanor. And if you didn't understand most of the stuff he was talking about, then you are not alone. But that's about it for today. So, if you enjoyed that video, leave your thoughts in the comment section. Until next time. >> Dang it. I hit the wrong thing. But yes. Okay. I'm glad it wasn't just us. All right. Hold on. Let me get to the next video. All right. I've been saving this. I feel like I've had this in the list for a while and I wanted to put it in a compilation of scammers. I haven't watched it myself. It looked good. So hopefully it is good. Um Sac say he need to be arrested for having that voice. Yes. Yes. Yep. Sharon, he was dropping brothers a Navy Seal. His lawyer was named whatever. All right. So, this is Macy's manager caught running $22,200 refund fraud scheme. And this is NY Detective, a great channel. Um, the only one I've seen so far, and I still play them though because I like the airport videos. If police on scene would just please add at the end, what were they charged with? You don't even have to tell us if they were actually found guilty later. If they would just please add what were they charged with. Oh my gosh, that's all I'm asking. But yeah. Okay, but Okay, here we go. >> On July 29th, 2025, officers were dispatched to Macy's in reference to a reported employee theft investigation. >> Hello. >> Hi. How are you? >> I'm fine. He's in there. It's hard to say cuz he's still in the back. It's He's actually a manager. Um, >> yeah, he's a he's a manager. He's been with the company for a while. So, he's been collecting refund for, you know, um taking merchants from the floor, ref um returning it and taking the cash in the back. >> Um, so how long have you been? Um, from what the statement I'm reading right now, my my senior investigator is there with him right now and he admitted to have been doing it since January, I believe. >> Total loss of like 2000 >> 2000. And when was the last time you saw it? >> Um, I have the paperwork there. I'm just going to um type out the statement. >> Okay. So, is he just he's just refunding it basically? >> No purchase. So he's picking up merchandise from the selling floor and doing a return on the purchase and taking Okay. Okay. >> That's crazy. He should know better because he would have to catch his employees if they did the same thing. He's taught what to look out for because you can get caught. I guess he's trying to work around how they told you to look out for it. But it's like that's just one way. Then when someone does it another way, now you just add it to the the training you get. Okay, now you can also catch them this way. But that's crazy because he has to look out people stealing and he's stealing. Do you want me to step out? >> Uh, well, we have to talk to I think you first or somebody about what's going on. >> Okay. I didn't know if you talked to somebody. >> We did. We just need a little bit more information on this stuff and then we can >> Okay. So, this is Dharma Dot. He goes by Ronald. Okay. >> Um, he is a manager here at the store. Okay. >> Um, and I came in to discuss with him today some things that were going on in the store. >> Okay. >> And that involved him processing some fraudulent returns in order to take the cash. He found himself in a um in a spiraling financial situation. >> Okay. >> Um where he needed cash. And so it's about 20 $2,2398. >> Okay. >> Um and it has happened since this year starting in January. >> January. Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. Um >> and it's July 29th right now on this body cam. >> Do you know the most about what's going on? >> Daisy is doing the affidavit. >> Okay. All right. Um are you all are you all done with him or >> Yes. Okay. Um, >> I can step out if you would like. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We'll talk to him for a minute. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right, boys. So, I got to read you your rights. >> Yeah. >> Your rights. So, you know your rights as a person. Okay. Before I ask you some questions, you have the right to remain silenced. Do you understand? >> Yes. >> Anything you say may be used against you in court. Do you understand? >> Yes. >> You have the right to talk to a lawyer before and during questionings. Do you understand? >> Yes. If you cannot afford a lawyer and want one, one will be provided for you before question without charge. Do you understand? >> Yes. >> Has anyone threatened you or promised you anything to get you to talk to me? >> No. >> Okay. So, what's been what's going on? >> Uh, we went through a little few issues at home and uh I took cash from the store. >> Okay. How long? >> You went through issues from January to July, almost August. That's the end of July. And how many issues did you go through at home? Multiple. I don't know. Okay. You might get a second, third job, but Okay, sir. >> New one is for >> the beginning of the year. >> What's the beginning time frame? >> January or February. >> Okay. So, you've been doing it for >> since January till till now. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> How how are you doing it exactly? Are you just taking cash for the cash register? Yeah, just do return and you kept the cash. >> Okay. So, you you would do the terms. >> Yeah. >> That sounds >> okay. And why >> I was going to lose a lot of financial issues and I kind of lost my place and you know it's um it was just a downward spiral. Someone moved out my house and then I I just poor decision. I got you. I got you. I mean >> and you know, you was on, but this is not, you know, the option. So, it was poor decision. >> But now you're gonna you're going to have to pay possible restitution. You can get actual time in jail. You're going to have court fines and fees. If you get a public defender, you're not going to pay for that. But if you know, if you're trying to honestly get some some more, how can I put this time in I won't say quality because public defenders are awesome. they are just overworked. But if you're trying to get, you know, someone to really look into your case and stuff, like you're you're out more money than you stole. Like this never works. >> Three weeks ago. >> Three weeks ago. >> Gotcha. How long you been working here? >> About Yeah. Three years. >> So you been here three years? >> Been here for a while. Me and your manager. Yeah. >> How long you been a manager? Three years. >> Yeah. because I came from New York. It's so different. >> I got you a lot of stuff. >> I got you, man. >> I got poor decision making. So, I'm responsible. >> Where you live at now? >> Um, Mosark. >> Mosart. >> I bet he lives above his means, too. I bet if he downsize some things, he'd have no financial issues. I don't know where. I'mma look up Moss Park and what's And if y'all see what state they're in, let me know because I want to see if he's living in in something that maybe he needs to downsize from. >> Um, give me a second. Um, let me see what's going on. >> Um, you gave him his ID already, everything. Okay. >> All right. Um, was this mostly clothing items that you were doing? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You said January, February time. >> I want to talk to them real quick. You say here, >> what part of New York you from, man? >> Queens. >> Queens. I used to work in Queens. >> I moved down here last year. >> Yeah, I went down a couple years ago. Four years and just a change in this is different, man. >> Green dust. >> What else? >> Green. um with him being an employee. >> So what are we doing? >> Fraud charges to the fraud. >> To the fraud. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> So that's statue. We're charging only six. >> Okay. So, but I mean it's still defrauding the company multiple times. >> Okay. >> So, you want to put in the car for now and >> uh hold on to this. >> Yeah. Hey, Deon, could you do me a favor? Just stand up for me. Okay. Okay, fair. Wow said trending desperate times call for desperate measures. No, he shouldn't be stealing, but people don't look at the whole picture. They don't. And one thing I do believe is if you going to do it, just be ready for the consequences. So if he's ready for his consequences, it's on it's on him. So it is what it is. But I hear you. This key that's on the chair. Is that yours or the company's? >> Um, mine. >> We'll grab it. >> We got pocket. Don't worry. >> So, right now we are being placed under arrest. Okay. They do want to fro this your phone. I'll come with you also. >> Okay. >> Do you have any cash on your >> We have the key, your phone. >> Okay. I'm sorry. Ace Moonshot say, "Yeah, you can do the scam on occasion, but if you get too greedy, you're going to get caught with your hand in the teal." And I do have one for y'all where literally it shows a surveillance camera and the hand is literally in the teal. So, it's going to be very much on the nose on that one. Ace Moonshine already. Okay. I'll try and get you anything. >> Um, that's my father. No, I didn't. >> All right. The only thing surprising about him is that out of the ones we normally watch, he is just like, I did it. I'm not fighting the handcuffs. Let's let's go ahead and start this process. So, that's the only thing um that's kind of different from some of the ones we watch. And I'm going see if they put his charges at the end. And it's NY detective, so hopefully they should. While uh while we wait for starting information and I'll go to security. >> Oh yeah. >> He was charged with scheme to defraud. Share your thoughts in the comments below and don't forel level too. Well via I don't know. Okay. Next one we have is police surprise woman at the bank after $37,000 fraud scheme backfires. So here we go. Oh, this is body cam ninja. >> On July 15th, 2024, officers responded to a bank after a woman attempted to wire $37,000 into her account using a stolen identity. Hello. >> Hi. >> How are you? >> I'm good. How are you >> doing? Well, >> are you Mariah? >> I am. >> Okay. So, we got called here for a different reason. Can we um chat in this office back here? >> Sure. Okay. You can actually go in that office if you'd like. >> Okay. This one right here, please. >> Ryan, why would you think I was being called here today? >> I don't know. >> Okay. Um, I'm going to wait for another officer who's actually in charge of this. Okay. >> Go ahead and have a seat for me. Do you live local? >> No. >> No. So the Rav 4 is not your vehicle or it is? >> No, it's not my vehicle. >> Okay. So, how did you get here? >> I was dropped off. >> Okay. Do you have a current here? >> Oh, so she got the same playbook as the other ones. Dropped off or took an Uber. Doesn't live in town. That's probably why they came to the bank that's out of their town. Um, let's see what else. Hers was a wiring thing. So, we'll see what else is the same as the other bank scammers we've seen. Do y'all remember the first uh the first Sorry. Do y'all remember the first scam videos that we watched was like everybody was doing the lottery uh ticket scam? Either the employ either the employees um I'm sorry, I have a total distraction over here. the employees were still in the lottery ticket, scanning them for the winning tickets or this one couple tried to alter the lottery ticket to the winning numbers. That was like it was like all lottery tickets for a while for a while. Sorry. >> Are you in right now or anything? Bluetooth anything like that going on? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> How far away were you dropped off? >> Where's the Do you have a Bluetooth device? Is it on? >> Are they? >> I don't know. Are you there? >> Okay. >> What's the vehicle that you were dropped off in? >> Uh, it was a van. >> What color? >> Like a minivan. White minivan. >> Yes. >> This is your investigation. I'm let you take over, but I'm not randomized here in regards to any questioning. Um, but I'll assist you with helping because I've done this before. >> Okay. >> So, before we go any further, I'm going to review your rights. Okay. Do you understand these rights? >> All righty, ma'am. So, what happened today? >> How much? >> I think 35,000. >> 35,000. Okay. >> And she was just withdrawing money or did she have any type of check she was trying to cash or anything? >> She wanted um counter checks. >> Okay. >> And then she went to her office and asked them for to get debit cards put in. >> Okay. and she returned $5,350 on Friday >> from this branch. >> Okay. >> So, I know my partner got your name, but can I also get it real quick? >> Your first name, please. >> Patricia. >> Patricia. And what's the name of your other partner? >> And make sure you see her ID cuz you can't trust anything Patricia says right now. So, make sure you get some identification, some fingerprints >> that you were working with. You don't know his name? >> He just goes by Pete. Okay, gotcha. How'd you know Pete? >> I was just introduced to him from somebody else. >> Okay. What was this? Somebody else that introduced you to goes by DL. >> He goes by DL. How did you get involved with these guys? >> Somebody else. >> Someone else. Okay. So, just a line of people introducing each other to different. >> All right. So you said you were trying to wire 3,500,000. >> Oh, 35,000. >> Yeah. What look like? >> Maybe 6 foot. >> Maybe 6 foot white. >> Yeah. >> Black. >> Black and >> B. Why he got to be black? Why you got to put that in your lie, too? Also, I knew she was going to do it when she hesitated. She said six feet. I said, "Oh, here we go." White, Hispanic, black. Oh, black girl. No. >> What kind of hair? >> Oh, how about DLo? How does he look like? 5'11. >> Uh, is he black, white, Hispanic? The numbers on the driver's license don't match what we have in the system. >> Okay. >> Oh, I didn't even look. >> She's emailing me right now. >> She had to look hook up text. >> I think she already gave officer another name. So, we'll see if that's her. So, >> when did you meet these guys? >> A couple weeks ago. >> Couple weeks ago. Okay. Gotcha. And then from there you guys just started talking about trying to get money and eventually came to the conclusion to >> some money just to come into a bank and out. >> Okay. >> Only question I have right now is is she a drug addict? That's the part I'm trying to nail down right now. >> Yeah. That was your only part in it to wire the money and then get picked up and go back home or so where would you have gone after here? >> To the airport. >> To the airport. From what I understand, Patricia, you came from Texas to Idaho with Pete and DLO. And your part in this was to wire $35,000 to to who? >> Someone named Tavaris. >> Someone named Tavaris. >> I was already gonna say it when he said you came with Pete and DL. And I'm like, "Here we go with some let's pull out some names that might might be stereotypically black." MJ, I was like, and then he said, "Then you he said something and she said, uh, Tibaras, if you don't stop playing with me right now, >> once you are the money, your plan was to get back in the van with them and then transport yourself to the airport. Hang tight for one moment." Okay. >> Uh, she did not retrieve any money today. because she had already taken 5,300 out fighting fraudulently on Friday. >> Who does the account belong to? >> An actual Mariah >> this one. >> Do we know who Mariah is? >> Yeah. >> A picture of her. She was on the phone. >> And here's the wire she tried to send. It was for 37,000. >> And once it's gone, we can't recover it. Sold for fraud. So >> stockp says she trying to think of every name she heard on BET before >> the the first amount was or the sentence. >> Well, that was that was >> for $5,350. >> Okay. >> And do we have can we get a receipt of that? >> Uh I can grab it. Yeah. >> So I don't know if you overheard our conversation. >> Yeah. >> Financial crimes are serious >> and most likely be going to jail today. Okay. So, do you have anything illegal in your purse or on your person? >> No, sir. >> Okay. All right. Have you been to jail in Idaho before? >> No, sir. >> Okay. Have you been to jail anywhere before? >> No. Yes. >> In Texas? >> In Ohio? >> Ohio for same thing? >> No. >> No. Okay. >> No. I've never done this before. >> Okay. >> Noir Angel, I also agree. He will be sticking out like a sore thumb. he'll be easily found because when we lived in Montana, they assumed we were military. Black people resided in Montana, but they were look every time it's like, "Oh, okay, we applied your military discount. We got your military discount. We could have just been civilians visiting family or or just live there." But it's certain states they think you are there for a specific reason and you do stick out. And yeah, I think Idaho it might happen. you will have to go before a judge and the judge will set your bail. Okay. Seeing as how you're not local to the area, it'll probably be fairly high. >> Due to risk of flight, right? >> Okay. >> Why? Why'd you do it? Are you like in financial need or Okay. What's going on at home? >> Um, my car was total and I need a new one and I can't run my business without a car. And so this was just supposed to be >> I'm going tell you right now for this level of the fraud she tried to pull and let's just say she really whatever with her business totaled her car. You usually seek out who fits your demographic either financially or through networking through familiarity. And so I'mma tell you now, if anybody she is working with, I'm gonna say, not because black people can't have that kind of money, but if she is trying to do this, I don't think she was with black people in this case. I feel like if that's her real demeanor or whatever, I feel like she would be too discriminatory to try to do something like this with black people. But it's easy to go ahead and blame if you get caught. But I don't think she actually did it, if that makes sense, with black people. And I'm still trying to figure out is she a drug addict? Like how far back are we going with the lies? >> Quick little thing, >> right? Business. I'm trying to start a business, but I need my car. >> Okay. >> My car was >> Look at that. I'm trying to start a business, girl. >> And I need a new car. My insurance didn't cover. I still owe I'm upside down basically in my car loan. >> Okay. Gotcha. And so, be honest with me. What What's your real name? >> I gave you my real name. Patricia Meyer. Patricia Meyer >> from Texas. >> Yes. >> Okay. Because we have something different on file. >> I'm not Mariah. I told you my name is >> Okay. Your real name is >> Yes. >> Over here. Which bag? >> I was going to be paid just to send the letter. >> And my reason for that is because my car was total. >> Okay. Gotcha. What do you do for I'm starting a start a medical career business. >> Um I have an e-commerce business. It's just an online thing. >> Okay. >> I was picked up by Uber from the airport to the Airbnb. Yes. And then I was picked up and brought here to do the wire and just be that simple. So, explain to me on Friday you were here at this bank >> and you withdrew money or did you make a transfer? >> Um, no, just a withdrawal. >> Withdrawal. Yeah. So, was that part of the plan as well? >> Um, yeah. Well, it wasn't supposed to be, but >> I was just supposed to do the wire. Just hit the wire. >> Okay. So, what changed? >> I don't know. They just said go to bank and get withdraw. just I think I think trying to feel the bank account they don't you know I mean that's that's my thought. >> Uh did they how did you get presented with the ID? >> It was given to me. >> So when you arrived here in Idaho they already had it? >> Yes. >> Have you been a victim of any sexual encounters or promise anything or threaten anything if something goes wrong? >> No. >> No. Okay. Um, you had the Bluetooth piece in your ear when that first came in. Uh, was he guiding you on what to say? Answer questions. How was that? >> If if I needed him to. Yeah. >> Okay. But mainly he was just to listen. >> Okay. Did he invite >> I want to know, are they going to find her accompllices? The one that was in her ear in the Bluetooth. The one that dropped her off. That's what I want to know. And I don't think we're going to get that from the body cam, but I want to know cuz if she's rolling over on who did this and she has real names, I want to know that they actually question any of them >> that if the police were called he was going to do anything particular. >> No, >> that didn't conversation never came up at all about if he got caught. >> No, >> that's a lie. That That's stupid. Y'all think she working alone? >> No. So, I'm probably going to be stuck here just on my own. >> That's usually is what happens because they're using you to get funds. >> It's just be so easy. Just go somewhere, >> right? But they're also giving you a fake ID. So, that should be like I know it's easy money and it's also a criminal offense. So, you got to weigh your morals and values there. >> I know. I know. I know. I know. Do you have any questions for me or officer Rosales? >> Um, how long do you think I'll be in jail? um overnight tonight for sure and then you will see a judge tomorrow and that will be determined on between you and the public defenders office and the judge on how if you're going to stay if you're going to be released on bond if you're going to have electronic monitoring. Okay. I mean, there's a lot of seriousness to this, >> right? >> If one or two of them came, if let's say she's working in a group and they flew from Texas and one or two of them came with her, I think because they don't think they're going to get caught, they would have flown together. So, they need to check the Oh my gosh, what's it called? The the manifest. What's the what's the thing called when they have the passenger list? They need to check that. checked the cameras at the airport when she said she arrived. Um because I I don't know like I I think she was working alone or she just uh is making up who she's working for. Okay, there's the manifest. Okay. >> I have to stay in Idaho. >> Um that will be up to the judge cuz I've seen it either way. >> Can I call someone? >> Who are you going to call? um my friend >> Ghostbusters >> that I could probably I don't know would help me with an attorney or what have you. Not not anyone that's in the circle. I don't >> So >> they I think they're just going to leave me leave me be meh try though. >> You will be allowed to take your phone. All this is going to the jail with you. Okay. And you will be able to get three numbers off your phone that you can call from inside the jail. Okay. >> Okay. >> That's when you're going to be allowed to make phone call. I'm not going to allow you to make phone call right now. >> Okay. >> Usually when I deal with this, it's people that do have record. They know what they're doing. >> On my record, that's it. >> Right. Um, also what I deal with is um these crews like the guy who picked you up will target people who are um homeless and desperate and get a portion of the deposit. >> Drug addicts >> that they get. So >> well the money that we took I gave to a driver um and I was supposed to get my cut um at the end of everything. >> Right. It's like 10% maybe 5,000 something like that. >> 10% >> 10%. >> What I need him to stop volunteering the answer. Let her answer. Don't give her options. Ask her the question open-ended. Let her answer. Stop supplying her with possible things. Now, now it's like, "Oh, yeah. I was going to get a cut." She probably was there for the whole 35. We don't know. >> Okay. This was from today. >> Yes. >> And was the driver with you today and you went to Starbucks? >> Yes. >> Okay. Did you guys go through the drive-thru? >> No. >> Both you went inside? >> No. >> Just you? Okay. Did he park in the parking lot? >> Yes. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Go ahead and stand up for us. Put that in here. Yep. You don't rest at this time, man. All right. This one they should have let a detective question her. That was a horrible line of qu or I guess the questions were fine. Supplying the answers. No, they needed to detect. She She didn't need to be questioned by them too much. Except for did you how did you get here? I don't like how they question. The suspect was charged with burglary, grand theft, forgery, conspiracy to commit identity theft in possession of a fraudulent identification card. >> Okay. Conspiracy means they poss well they at least believe she was working with at least somebody else. Um, in my opinion, that's what I take it as cuz conspiracy for me is usually there's more than one of you conspiring to do something, whether it's shoplift, whatever it is. Um, but yeah, she need I didn't know they was going to do burglary. Okay, I would love to know the followup to this. Did they find real accompllices? I don't think so. He did. He gave her everything. Bam. Bam. Did she take out 5K the day before? Why aren't they questioning where that money is? They need a detective, Kim. It just it was just too much out of their their scope. It just wasn't happening. They were very light and easy. Gliddon. Yep. L couple of y'all said she's too calm. Yeah, I know. That's I was like, what was the burglary? Did they find out she broke into that person's house and took something or like what was the burglary part? 57. She's too old. She's old enough to know better. Mhm. All right. This one I don't know how it's going to go. It's in the lineup, but I don't know. This says police surprise AutoZone thief in the act doesn't end well. >> On November 18th, 2025, officers were dispatched to AutoZone in response to a reported shoplifting incident. >> I don't know. I don't know if it didn't beep on the way out, but >> Okay. Well, I know. I know. >> I'll look at the vehicle. >> I'm watching her right now inside the store. >> Okay. So, you all keep eyes on the female. She's inside the business. She came out once, went to the vehicle, and then returned within >> the vehicle was here when you got out. >> It's right here. >> Yeah. >> I had to park over there for a while. >> Okay. >> And I'm from so I get a little >> I got saw anything. I went out and brought some stuff to the counter with nickel and dime stuff and then left. And then I I put that over there on the end, but now she's back in. >> Okay. Go ahead. >> That was the plan to come here and shop with >> No, no. I didn't know. I'm coming here to get some stuff. >> You're not involved. >> No, no. I I I have my own money. You can check my account if you want. Like >> I don't I want to go home to my kids, you know. >> Track it. I promise. >> Yes. >> Oh, I know about some of this. She already gives I'm addicted to something and she about to sell the other person out that's in the store. This is the one I'm remembering and act like she wasn't a part of it, but they went on the same trip. Go. Okay. So, y'all go ahead and listen. >> You're being honest with me. I can work with you and I am not saying you've done anything wrong. Okay. >> But I need to at least say on camera, >> okay, that I've at least identified you. I'm not running your information. I don't care. >> Please. Yeah. And I'm going to help you out. >> No, no, she did. Did she put anything in the vehicle as a >> um Yeah, she put a thing of oil and I can give it to you. >> Yeah, please. >> Okay, we make sure she doesn't see. >> Yeah, she I have another officer standing by over there. >> Where's she at? She's in the store. >> No, she went back to the store. >> That's cool. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> I'm not putting your handcuff. >> Oh, no. No. I know. I didn't do anything. What is that? Cool. Talk to >> man. So, you got the oil from the truck that you walked back to. Okay. >> Okay. >> The oil of the truck. Yeah, that's the one that she told me that she didn't want to get. >> So, I'm confused. So, I'm getting the correct one. >> Did you buy this? pretty much. >> I could have sworn I exchanged it. >> Did I not receive >> for the 5W20? Yes, I should. Let me check my No, wait. I'm grabbing my thing to give you the receipt. What the heck? >> No, this is like Huh. >> Yeah. Tell us what you're doing. >> What I'm trying to do is I'm trying to get the correct thing. >> So, here's the thing, right? They said that you were in here. >> Okay. And I told you I have to go outside. Listen to officer. Let him finish talking. >> He is that you were in here in the store before. You didn't pay for anything and then you walked out and you had a bag with you. >> Yeah. My bag. Yeah. >> Right. >> Yes. >> And then you came back inside. Now this we're right we're here with you >> and that oil is in your truck, right? And you did not pay for it. >> Okay. Then if I didn't pay for that one, then that one then Oh my god. Okay. Because then that was accidental because it was supposed to be the 20W50 and I'm like dyslexic cuz I thought it was 5W20 when I kept I know. I realized that and it's because I was trying to hurry because I'm in a hurry because I thought the store closed at 9. So I like panicked when I like went. And then >> my question is what were y'all going to do with the oil? Was it going to be at least actually for a vehicle? Cuz I'm a little wary of even the motivation of why are we still in this? Hopefully, it was actually for a functional reason and what it's meant for. Also, she's the dumbest out of the pair because she's the one that went in the store twice stealing things and the friends outside rolling over on her easily. They just That man said, "I just want to identify you." Meaning, he sound like he didn't even suspect her. He was like, "Is you know, is that your do you know her in there? Cuz I'm talking to you. I have to identify you." I think they both equally were in on it, but she's the dumb one that went in the store and actually did the action. >> That's why I put everything down and it was not >> Do you want to pursue charges? >> It was not intentional at all. I don't have an ID on you, ma'am. >> I don't I don't But like this was absolutely like >> No, you're not. >> No, my name is not Marisha. >> Okay, catch a breath. Okay. >> Oh my god. >> This officer your name is What is your name? >> What? What is your name? >> My name is Kila. >> Okay, >> just for the time being, can you just put your purse up here, please? >> No, I feel very uncomfortable doing this. Like, no, I came into >> I really don't No, this is >> No, this is very It's not Kayla. This is very like No, it's Yes. This is very like >> If I was a cop, I'm already like, "Hey, does anybody have Rapid ID? Ju let's just fingerprint her. You know your name is Kayla or Ila. You don't mispronounce your own name. Stop playing with me. Just fingerprint her. >> Overwhelming to me because I'm just >> Oh, we're doing an investigation. Okay. >> You just need relax. Catch your breath. >> Okay. I'm sorry because like obvious with like around police and like I don't like I don't think we haven't done anything to cause that. Okay. Well, I mean, you guys haven't personally, but >> and I'm worried about my truck cuz I have to go pick up my I have to go pick up my friend before he gets off work right now. And like I'm trying >> catch your breath. Okay, >> you're rambling on. >> Just hang out. Hang out. Let us do our thing. Okay, we'll see what we can do about getting you out of here. Okay, >> the more cooperative you just >> slow down. I don't want to go nurse. Okay. >> I'm not We can trespass her, too. >> What? Why am I getting I don't want to get trespassed. I like I see like >> I know, but what I'm explaining is I'm so sorry. I'm really really sorry. Tell me what happened. >> Okay, so what happened was I was supposed to come in here and the issue was was that I needed to get the quart of mortar oil or whatever for the truck. >> Okay. And I kept saying like in I wrote it I wrote it down and I wrote it down as 5W20. Okay? >> Because you know it's always 10W20 or like 5W20 whatever. But um when I was over here I was like hold on I need to go see if that is the correct one because I don't want to spend all this money and have it not be the right oil. >> And then when I got to the car and I asked my friend she's like no sweet lady it's not 5W20. It's 20W50. >> Okay. >> And I was like 20W50? had never heard of 20W50 before. And then I was like, "Wait, what?" And then so we sat there and she Googled it for me and then she showed it to me and she's like, "Yeah, it's a it comes in a black thing. It's it'll be the only one that's in there." And I was just like, "Oh, what? Okay." And then I looked and I was like, "Okay, what the freak?" I didn't know 20W50 like existed. And I didn't realize that I had taken the 5W20 out there with me. That was totally accidental. Like I have left everything else here on the counter cuz I'm still I want to check out with all the rest of the stuff. But this me taking this one bottle out there was purely accidental. If she didn't possibly give a fake name and if she didn't have that drug added looking friend out there people do make mistakes. They are absent minded and I really I and it's also the voice. It is the voice but I know that it shouldn't matter but it is I would almost believe I got absent minded. I didn't mean to take both. I I'm dyslexic. I messed up on the numbers. I only wanted the one court. I'm not trying to take anything. But her accomplice, the way she's acting and that fake name stuff. Mm- like it really was cuz I was trying to look for my notebook where I wrote down what I needed. >> So like when I set everything down, I forced that. I just accidentally put it right there. It was not like intentional intentional that I like took this item like at all. >> So you came back inside. You were going to buy >> and I was going to buy No, the five the see the 20 W or the 20W50. >> But you just needed a quart and then now you're buying a four quart >> and then Well, no. I'm going to I'm trying to ask him like how much it's going to come out to in total with that like with the I don't need it right now. >> Yes. So, when we run your information, it's not coming out of Texas. So, can you write >> It's not coming out of Texas. >> Can you run Do you know your driver's license number out of Texas? >> Um, >> no. >> No, but I can call my mom and ask her cuz I'm pretty sure she has like the um paper one. >> Can you write down your name for us how it is on your ID, please officer on her notebook? >> Yeah. >> Did she say she doesn't have her ID on her? because I don't trust her to write her name down. But I understand why they're having her write it down. She's going to say, "Oh, no. I didn't say Kayla or Leila. I said I don't know another one real fast that rhymes with that." But she will just keep saying no. You just didn't hear me right. >> Ila. >> Yes. >> Just so we're both on the same page. Okay. >> And so we can for our documentation. >> Mhm. >> Um this is your purse, right? Can I make sure there's no other merchandise in there? >> Yeah. Like I was gonna open it. >> Can Can I just ask if I can? >> Okay. Please don't like do that grabby thing, please. >> I'm letting you know because I don't want you grabbing the purse. That's why I took it away from you. >> Okay. And this is just all your stuff. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm glad you have an arcan. Everybody needs an arcan. I have an argument with my friend. >> Does your friend use or what? >> Yeah, that's like totally irrelevant. >> I'm just asking. No, it's just a question. >> It's irrelevant. I don't want to. It's not about her. >> Yeah, I got you. Okay. Well, I'm just saying I'm glad that you have it cuz not many people carry it and it's life saving, right? >> It is. >> Is this one yours, too? >> Huh? >> Is this one yours? Yours as well? Your purse? >> Uh, no. That one's hers. That's Yeah, that one's hers. And that's the one that had all the information written down of what I needed. This is her purse. This is her purse. >> Yeah, that little the Yeah, that thing. That one's hers. >> This one? >> Yes. >> So, I can ask her that real quick. >> Huh? >> I can ask her that. I know. She's She's at the front of my car. She's detained with me. >> Why is she detained? >> That's not your problem. My problem. Is this yours or is this hers? >> Well, she say who's when we ask her, is she going to say it's yours or she gonna say it's hers or is it nobody's? >> Nobody is. Y'all, I don't know if it's clear enough for you to see it on your screen, but the way her eyes are bucked out is it's well, if you hang I'm sorry, but if you're if you hang with a drug addict, I'm I'm automatically going to think you are also a drug addict. I don't care if y'all don't present the same way. I'm going to assume you're a drug addict. Now you got Narcan in your purse. It's probably for both of them. She probably carried it for both of them in case something happens. You're telling me it's abandoned property? >> Yes, >> it's abandoned property. >> I don't want to I don't want to get any >> I allowed you to search my purse. I allowed you to look through my property. >> Look, I'm asking. Okay. >> Is it yours or is it hers? >> Or is it just Nobody's Was it here before we got Was it here before you got here? >> That's what I'm trying to ask. >> Do not know. >> You know who it is? Okay. >> It's abandoned property. Where was it when we got here? Because if she doesn't >> Is that what you're saying? >> Let me go verify. >> Did you walk in with it or no? >> It's your first mine. >> It's yours. >> Can I make sure there's no merchandise in there? >> I don't want you to look through that one because that one's like my personal and I really don't want you to look through that one. >> Okay. A Serge. She's claiming it's yours. She doesn't want to look. So, it's a stolen merchandise, b drugs, or c both a and b. >> I'm so sorry, but like >> I'm just trying to make sure >> put that one cuz like I don't >> wait. Why am I getting like arrested now? >> Okay. Why >> at this time? Because you are going to be charged with shoplifting and then also trespassing and you're not coming back on fire. I'm going to jail. >> Are you lying about your name, Lea? >> No, I'm not. Am I going to jail? >> Well, until we figure out who you are. >> How long have you been in here for? >> I've only been living a few years. I went to college here for a little while. Okay. >> Okay. Your ID is not in here. >> No, sir. It's not. >> Cuz if you're lying who you are, you are going to jail tonight, right? If you're lying who you are, you're going to go to jail. If you tell us who you are and stop lying, >> you probably won't even go to jail. >> If you have a petty petty warrant, I don't care. I don't care about petty warrants, right? So be honest with us, please. >> Okay, >> you're not I could tell where you're lying. I've been doing this for a bit now and I know when people are lying. All right, >> there's not anything on with your name in here. >> So I was going to ask you one more time. What's your name? What's your date of birth? There's a lot of times you get you want to go to jail or nothing. This is how simple it is. You're going to tell me who you are and stop playing games cuz I'm done. Okay, I'm going to start. My name is Chris. >> I have people here are in the middle of a business. >> Okay, and this is ridiculous. Start acting your age. and take responsibility for your actions. >> Yes, I am. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> Tell them who you are. >> Okay. Can we do this outside? Yes, >> girl. Yeah. It's warrant or something because if they're like we we won't take you to jail. The amount doesn't seem high. So, I can see them being honest about we won't take you to jail, but we do need you to actually identify yourself. And she still won't. And it's this difficult is she she must know either way I'm going to jail cuz I I'm already wanted for something else. Yes. All the business that I'm worried about. >> Thank you. Yes. >> Yes. We'll do this. Any more games? You're gone. >> So, what's your name? >> What? >> Yes. >> And why' you lie? >> Sit down. >> Because I'm scared because I want to be late. >> Do you have warrants? >> No. >> So, why would you lie if you have no warrants? What's the point? They're going to find out who you really are. >> I know. because I want to get like charges with stuff and I don't I did not char it intentionally like I did not I swear I did not >> Michaela if you don't want to get charged like literally you giving your fake name is not going to do anything >> yeah I know I know I know >> I'm sorry >> if not then I promise you're going to do it okay >> so give it to Michaela. >> All right, Michaela. So, you are going to be arrested for shoplifting. Um, you're going to be also trespassing here. Okay. >> We did have a warrant for you. So, you're going to need to come up for the public violation. All right. >> Can I please smoke? >> I'm going to need to do anything on you that we should be aware about. Any drugs, no weapons? >> Any weapons? Okay. You want to go ahead. Yeah, you can. >> You're not going to find anything else. >> I think they just opened up a piece of foil and I don't think there's snacks in there. >> Okay. >> Careful. Yeah. >> Hey, there's your gloves on. >> It's fine. You're fine. >> The woman was charged with shoplifting, criminal trespass, and possession of a controlled substance in addition to being booked on her warrant. >> We knew. We knew there was a warrant. See, I don't know. Unless they say I don't know, cuz all of them look like the same white powder to me. So, I don't know what that was. I think they let the friend go. That's what I'm saying. They shouldn't have, but I feel like they let that friend go. And I feel like that friend was in on it and she knew exactly what happened. She rolled over on that girl. I feel like they she should have been arrested for the conspiracy to commit whatever. Kim said, "I wonder which one was going to put the oil in the car." Yeah. Yeah. I'm here for it. Purple Haze. All right. This one I did watch all this one and it is wild. Well, it's just not wild wild, but it's just his his personality is you'll see him. This says, "How your luggage magically disappears at the airport." And this is police on scene. >> The last place anyone would ever expect a problem would be at the airport. However, watch as this man thinks the rules do not apply to him at the airport before the ultimate surprise. On August 25th, 2024, the Dallas Fort Worth Airport Police Department was called to the scene at the airport for reports of that man. >> Your sister's luggage. >> Who was your sister? >> Which mean get the black one. >> The black one. Let me see. You got this. >> Where you coming from? >> From the train. >> Okay. Take a seat on right quick. >> Can you look this up for me? >> What's your sister's name? >> Your sister's name. >> My sister told me to come get this black bag. >> No, I'm saying what's your sister's name? >> Telling you my sister came tell me to come get this black bag. >> Okay, you take a seat for a minute while I'm talking to you. >> Okay. Talking to me. You >> put me on a suspicious circumstance. Adam 16. >> Mhm. Got that nervous caught energy just like the last one. Well, actually well except for the Macy's manager and the girl, the woman at the bank for the $37,000. Everybody else has had that nervous energy like I can't sit still. >> You're not free to go. Sit down, man. We just talking right now. You're not talking. You just You just said >> Yeah, I'm talking on the radio. >> Okay. So, you're not talking. >> Send me one more unit. >> My sister's bag. I'm going to go get her. >> Okay. Where's your sister located at? >> She's in She's in uh She's honestly on our way to the house. >> Okay. Take a seat for me. >> I already did take a seat. >> I want you to take a seat for me. >> So, right now I'm investigating a bag theft. Okay. Possible bag theft. >> It's not a bag. >> Okay. So, you came from the train? >> Yes. >> Okay. And from who? >> My sister told me. >> Okay. And what's your sister's name? >> Why does it matter if it's not her bag? >> Is that your property? >> It's not my property. It's >> So So you can admit that that's not your bag. >> I just told you that. Am I Am I a girl? Am I my my sister or what are you talking about? >> Okay. Do you have an ID on you? >> No, I don't. >> What's your name? >> For what? >> You're not going to let me pick it up. I'm going to go get her and she can come do it. >> Where is she at? >> I told you she's on my way to the house. >> What house? Where at? >> What do you mean what what house we're at? >> Yeah, we're at >> I'm not comfortable with telling you that. I'm gonna let her deal with it. Since you're not going to let me get the bag, that's fine. That's fine. I'm gonna let her deal with it. >> Okay. You're not free to go. Okay. >> How am I not free to go? >> Cuz I'm investigating a bag though. >> You investigating a bag that got the bag if >> So you walk past me with no bag. Now you walking right back with a bag. That's not your bag. It doesn't have your name on it. >> Okay, that's fine. But everybody else walks past >> and you're detained right now. >> How am I detained for what? >> Well, I just told you a backup. >> There's not a backup. I haven't even left the building. >> Okay. Can you make a phone call? Look that up for me. >> I was going to back up. I didn't >> You can take a seat for me, boss. Take a seat while we investigating what's going on. You can take a seat. >> Investigate. >> Okay, that's fine. That's fine. But just take a seat. Okay. >> So, I'm not >> Okay. We going to call Morgan then. We going to call We going to call whoever that bag for. >> We Whoever that bag for, we going to call. Okay, that's fine. >> So, until we figure out what's going on, you're not free to go. You're detained. >> How am I detained? >> It's that simple, man. It's that simple. >> For what? I just told you I'm >> Oh, that makes me so mad. He just explained 50,000 times how you're detained and he know why cuz he did it. Um, and you going to hear what the cop says, too. Like how he already knew that man was lying real quick. Um, I'm trying to see if it has one. This one right here, this bingo square for asking why five greater than five times. You can definitely get that one for him because it's so annoying and he's definitely doing that. >> A possible back there. fact that there's somebody steals a bag and leaves. >> So, is that your bag? >> I haven't left anywhere. You're not making any sense. Somebody steals something, they leave. >> Okay, you can take a seat at this point. You know what I'm saying? >> You can take a seat. >> You keep saying that. You can say that. >> You're not free to go, but you can take a seat. >> While we investigate, you can take a seat. It's It's very simple, bro. >> Yeah. You're not making sense. >> I'm not making sense. >> No, you're not. You keep saying that. That's what somebody >> Yeah. Yeah. So, >> put your hands in your pants. >> So, what about Don't put your hands in your pants. So what about what you know how to say? >> When somebody steals something, >> okay, >> they take it, >> it's gone, it's left. >> You stop me right here saying that's not my bag. That's fine. Okay. Did you come with a bag? Off the train. >> It's not my bag. It's fine. >> Did you come with a bag? Off the train? >> Did you Did you get off that train with a bag? >> I told you when I told >> when you passed me up, did you have a bag in your hands? >> What did I just tell you? I told you. >> Did you or did you not? >> You know I did. I told you. And now I see you again with the bag that you said belongs to your sister, but you don't know your sister's name. >> You don't know where your sister is. >> That's what I'm saying. So like if she >> So at this point, at this point, you're detained and I'm investigating a bag. >> So if you telling me the truth, we fa to make a phone call to the bag of that that owner >> and then determine if you're her brother. >> He wasn't even smart enough to look at the name on the bag. He won't name his sister. And the cop is gonna reveal the other part of how he knows. You don't even know whose bag you have. Talking about it's your sister's. >> You make a phone call to the owner. That doesn't make sense. It doesn't matter whether you make a phone call to the owner or not. >> Okay. >> That doesn't matter. >> Cuz she she gave you permission to pick up that bag, right? >> It doesn't. >> No, he I think he still stole from baggage claim cuz he the officer said, "Oh, let me show y'all who I'm responding to." Um the officer said, "I saw you walk by me with no bag and then you coming back with a bag." I think he just took the the train around the airport, but I think he stole at like, you know, wherever baggage is. >> Did she or did she not give you permission? >> When the somebody want to take something, >> okay, you're not making sense, bro. >> How does that not make sense? I haven't even >> Cuz I'm explaining to you over and over. >> I'm explaining to you over and over. I'm still here. >> Okay. >> So, like I said, you're not free to go. We investigating bag theft. Is that bag? Where did you get the bag from? here. >> Where did you get it from? >> What are you talking about? I'm still here. >> Okay. You know how you pick up a bag and you have it in your hand? Where you get it from? >> You You know what? You know it's very simple, man. You know what theft theft is? >> I very What is theft to you? >> When you take something to you leave, you steal something and you leave. >> What's that bag on the carousel? >> You know what I'm saying? >> Cuz I'm I'm roll back the cameras and if I see you, pick up a bag from that carousel. >> Roll back the cameras. Okay. You know, >> like why are you >> It don't matter. You already in possession of a bag that don't belong to you. That's a death. >> How's that a death? If so, >> and that's why you don't have to ask him no more questions. I don't know if they read him his Miranda rights because he is definitely making incriminated statements right now. He is detained. Um because he's just going to go in circles. You got everything you going to get out of him. You already know he lying about the bag, whose bag it is, why he has it. There's nothing else. Just just sit quiet until you finish investigating whatever else y'all waiting on. >> Called and and they picked up the wrong bag. So, it's they picked up the wrong person. >> Okay. Is it your sister? >> Huh? >> He's a man. He's not He's not He's a man. >> Okay. So, you got the information? >> Yeah, I called the number and I think he's on the flight much more so he's not answering the question. >> Okay. Can you give me that information? >> What number? >> Yeah, all the info you got. >> Okay. So, Noir Angel says, so basically what he's saying is he hasn't left so he doesn't feel like he's stolen anything yet. What stupid logic, right? Since he his logic is since I haven't left the building, you can't say I stole it. Just because it's in my possession right now doesn't mean I stole it. That's exactly what he's saying. He sounds like those shoplifters shoplifterss that are like, "Oh, I didn't leave the store yet." But you passed all points of sale, though, or you concealed. So, you don't have to leave the full physical store to still be shoplifting. And then actually I'm not clear on if the I know I heard the officer say he actually saw him take it but I don't know if also someone reported their bag stolen or not. >> So did you see him pick up the bag? Did you call us back? There is one >> and he I called the non. >> Like I said, we investigating what's going on. You can talk about whatever you want to talk about, but that's what's going on. You're not free to go insane. It's that simple. >> That doesn't make sense. >> Well, well, it it don't have to make sense anymore. I tried I tried to explain it to you. You're not listening. Okay. You're not even You're not like if I picked up the wrong bag, how's that? How's that? You know what I'm saying? It's the wrong bag. If I picked up the wrong bag >> Let me ask you this. Are you a passenger? >> Yeah. I just >> Are you Are you flying out? Are you Are you flying out or did you just fly in? >> I just told you where I came from. >> You came from the train. So you came from the train. >> So if my sister told me to pick up a bag and I picked up the wrong bag. >> Okay. Well, we going to determine. >> That's fine. >> Okay. What is your sister's name? So he also fast talks and says he is a passenger, but then he's saying he's picking up the bag for his sister. >> It's just all lies. No matter what he I don't think he's supposed to be on these premises for any reason. >> It doesn't matter what my sister's name is because her name is on the bag. >> Okay. >> Okay. So where's her name? >> If it's a wrong bag. Well, let me first real quick. Okay. Okay. cuz he he going to jail for a theft. So, >> okay. >> So, he told me picking up a sister's bag that belongs to a male. So, >> yeah, >> that's the part I was waiting on the cop to say. He said the guy keeps telling me it's for his sister, but the bag belongs to a male. He didn't even take the time to read the tag to back up his lie. >> And I got the phone number. I got the inventory. I can for you. It's >> just a description that was given to me. That's all I'm saying. I didn't try to shuck. I didn't try to drive. I didn't try to run. I didn't try to do anything. >> What's your name? >> Tri. I didn't try Yeah, that's my name. I didn't try to do any of that. >> All right, Tum. I have everything I need. Okay. So, at this point, you'll be placed on the >> Don't let that white woman from the bank hear his name cuz when they going to be like, "Well, who had you do this? What were they? White, black, or Hispanic?" Black. What was their name? Tren. Like, don't let her hear these these names now. >> Okay. Just place your hands by your back. Place your Hey, place your hands behind your back. Okay. Hey, that's fine. That's fine. That's fine. Place your hands behind your back. >> Okay. I did I did I did my investigation. Okay. >> Stop resisting. I'm not going to shut down. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Huh? >> Okay. >> Yep. Now, Sweet T says, "Sometimes bags are identical because I have grabbed the wrong one and read it and put it back and waited for mine." But you weren't trying to steal luggage though, sweet tea. So, yes. Yes, that could happen. But you not trying to steal nothing, right? Is he the uh what? No, it was Tavarius. Ace Moonshot. She said one black guy's name was Tavarius. I just need his uh info. I want to pull up and he's just don't like you, man. >> Yeah. >> Wait, you you want to start? Uh >> all right, I'll just stop it there. This is the one. Police on scene does not put charges at the end. And if they ever do that, I have no other no other feedback. I'll take it as they give it. Okay, let me see. Oh, Kim, that's DFW airport. All right, so now we're on to employee tries to cash a $3,000 I'm sorry. Employee tries to cash $3,000 in stolen checks. Instantly regrets it. And this is one scene cam. >> This guy, that guy used to work for me. He stole a check from me. >> Yeah, man. I cashed one other check in my name here. >> You cash another one here, like at this location. >> Yeah, he did. >> I'm firing today. I'm done. >> On May 31st, 2025, officers in Akran responded to a check smart after reports of employees attempting to cash stolen checks totaling $3,000 from their employer. Hey, stop your car right now. Get your hands up. Face that way. Face that hand. Face that way right now. >> Sir, >> give him time to pull up his pants. He turned around. All I saw was plumbers's crack. Like, please let him pull up his pants. Um, they came in blazing. I'm surprised. >> Just calm down. Face out of the way right now. >> 15. Send me a 42. I got one at one point. All right, get down on your knees. Put your hands on your head. Stop touching [ __ ] Face the other way. >> Get on your knees, brother. I don't give a We're going to figure this. >> I'm sorry. I got to move my face. I cannot be No. Let me move my face. Here we go. >> Out. Stop [ __ ] arguing with me. >> I'm not I'm not >> Get down. >> I'm not going to do anything. I don't know what you have in the car. >> Sir, I'm scared. >> Put your hand Yeah. You're not helping it. I will put this away once I can get you in cops to figure out what's going on. All right. >> Can I shut my car? Can I shut >> I will shut your door. I'm not gonna let your battery down. >> All right. Put your hand Put your hands on your head. Okay. There we go. >> Give me one second, ma'am. All right. >> Okay. Well, if it's a misunderstanding, it's a misunderstanding. It happens. All right. Put your uh put your hands together like you're praying. There you go. Other way. One second. I did not call nobody. >> You didn't call anybody? >> Okay. >> So, it's just a misunderstanding then. >> I have a I have a check for Chase, man. >> Okay. All right. >> Chase, you can slow people down. >> Listen to me, bro. >> Hey, one second. >> If it's a misunderstanding, it's a misunderstanding. All right. Hang on one second. And I don't want to hurt your hands. All right. There you go. >> Huh? >> Can I call my wife, please? >> Yeah, we'll figure all that out in just a second. Okay, >> Tony. >> Tony, >> just like that. >> Your dad just >> Why would you? >> Oh, he got the guy out there confronting him about stealing the checks. Oh, hold on. Go back a little bit. Let me see if I can pick up a little more of the voice. That's like a >> [ __ ] steal from me, bro. >> Your dad just >> Why would you fire my dad? >> Because you're there. >> I haven't ped him down yet. >> Oh, dang. He got his dad fired. >> Oh man. They cuz they just don't want him coming back cuz he shows up because of his dad and then he been out here stealing. So he done got his dad fired. >> They said it might be another guy in there. I don't know who the other guy was. The the one guy took off on foot. >> Who is it? >> This guy. That guy used to work for me. He stole a check from me. I don't know who's trying to cash the check. >> Okay. >> But don't honestly talk. >> All right. Hey, do me a favor. Put your hands by your back. >> No. I don't know nothing about this, sir. I really don't. >> Okay. Well, just put your hands behind your back real quick. All right. If I'm mistaken, I'm mistaken. It's just because I'm by myself right now. All right. Put your hands together like you're praying. All right. Figure this out. If you're not involved, you're not involved. >> I had nothing. >> Okay. Well, like I said, if you aren't, it's not a big deal. Okay. >> Central. >> I had no guy trying to catch a check. >> Yeah. Yeah. They sent me in here. I didn't know nothing about. >> Okay. Well, we'll figure that out. >> I just met that dude today. >> Okay. >> I just want my >> Now, now Okay. Now, I I believe they're together, but I don't know why he's already offering things up. Like I don't even know that dude. They didn't ask you about him yet. They ain't they ain't ask you nothing and you over here talking cuz you you're guilty. Y'all both over here trying to cash these checks. One of them saying I didn't do anything cuz he outside apparently and then you saying you don't even you just met him today or whatever. No, >> that's awesome. >> Yeah, we'll figure it out. Your stuff's going to go with you. Like I said, if you didn't mean it, you know what I mean? If you just met >> I really didn't know. >> Not a big deal. Yeah. I had no idea, sir. >> All right. Going to put you in the back of this car real quick. We'll just talk to you. All right. Okay. >> I'll figure everything out. You got any firearms? Any weapons, drugs? Anything's going to stab me, poke me, anything like that? >> Nope. >> Okay. >> Um, forever TRL, I don't even think the son worked there because the guy was saying, "You just got your dad fired because you come up there cuz he's up there." Something like that. I don't think the son was employed with the same company. And then what's crazy is he probably financially depends on his dad and then got his dad fired. >> Yeah. One second. I go through this bag really fast. >> Oh yeah. Ain't nothing really in there. But uh >> it's okay. >> I got a THC vape. That's about it. >> Okay. >> Cuz that's in my pocket. >> One second. >> I'll put all your stuff in here. Like I said, this is a mistake. >> Doing a second. >> Had no idea what was going on. >> Okay. >> We'll talk to you about Is this right in there? That's all that is. >> Okay. >> Like I said, I just got to check. You know what I mean? Not saying I don't believe you or anything like that, but >> I'm like, damn, I'm going to get really nothing but come in here and >> cash a check that I didn't had a >> All we need to see is the checks he was trying to cash. And I say we, I mean them. But you know what I mean? All they got to look at is what checks he trying to cash. Were they the stolen checks from that job? If not, he's good. Moving on. >> What the hell was going on? >> This is This is This is the check that they were trying to cash in there. >> So, uh the notes said it was stolen. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> This dude used to work for me. The kid that was in the truck used to work for me. His dad works for me still. He was down there seeing his dad the other day. Nobody was in the office and [ __ ] stole a check. We didn't know it. They just called and said, "Hey, someone's trying to cash a $3,000 check. Looks like there's problem." They didn't finish it filling it out, right? Too dumb to even try to fill it out correctly. Okay. Forever TRL modified. He used to work there. He didn't work there when he stole them checks. >> 0 or nothing there. >> Okay. >> I'm going to go get I think they have his ID. >> Got his we got the wallet. The other dude. >> The guy that the guy that [ __ ] stole it is the guy that was driving the truck. His [ __ ] truck for me, too. >> Okay. >> Uh his dad his dad works for me. He [ __ ] he used to work for me. I fired him because he's he's [ __ ] His dad works for me and uh he was down there visiting his dad the other day. There's only two guys that work there. The one guy was out on a test drive. His dad was there by himself. He [ __ ] knows where the text. >> This truck was from your business. He was trying to He was trying to cash this. >> Yep. >> All right. I'm gonna I'm gonna have to take a picture of this for evidence. I don't want to take it from you because it's your You know what I mean? >> Yeah. >> Your stuff. Let me uh do that really quick. This is uh for the guy I think that's in your cruiser. >> Yeah. Okay. >> In 14. >> Yeah. I got He worked for me and his dad still works for me. >> Well, he did. I'm firing his dad today. I'm done. I ain't the only >> Well, his dad. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And uh Yeah, he [ __ ] worked for me. He So, he knows where the checks are at. You know what I mean? It's a It's a service shop. >> Yeah. >> He knows where the checks are at. He [ __ ] was in there a couple days ago. I just called the my service manager and he's like I said somebody got got a check from the shop somehow trying to cash. >> Yeah, man. I cashed one other check in my name here. >> You cashed another one here like at this location. >> Do you know how much it was for? >> For 400 bucks, man. >> 400 bucks. Were those the only two checks that you had taken? >> Yeah. Listen, dude. I I have a kid on the way, bro. I don't have a job, man. I just I don't know what to do. Okay. Are you scared? I have a >> I understand it's a lot of >> I need help, man. >> Okay. >> I need help. >> I need help and I don't know where to get it and I don't know how. >> Nah, I I don't take it. And here's why. Nope. Nope. No. First of all, he giving me he about to be a dead beat dad. But I don't take that because he was employed and his employer standing right there saying I had to fire him because he wasn't ish. He's not working to keep employment. He isn't even doing the bare minimum to stay employed. So, I don't want to hear it. And his dad probably got him that job. He looks like he don't even go try for himself. It's woe is me. >> Well, give me let me get your phone. All right. >> All right. >> Am I going to jail? >> Uh, yeah. Like I said, you're probably you're gonna go. >> What are they gonna do with my truck? >> I'm trying to figure that out. All right. >> Can you call I got to call my dad, bro? Tony was also used in the commission of a felony. So >> yeah, >> but what does that >> I mean? So it's >> it wasn't using it was used to drive me here. I didn't commit a felony in it. >> All right. Give me give me one second. Right. Let me get your phone. You want to watch your watch your legs? >> So what were you guys doing in in >> I I was just told that can I ask I was asked if I can cash a check. >> Okay. >> I didn't hear nothing about being bound or >> He's probably going to answer this. Well, I don't know, but he's probably going to answer this question. So, you're cashing a check that doesn't belong to you. You were asked to cash it. Why you? Why couldn't they cash it? I would only And my dad, I don't think he would ever ask this, but I think I would only cash a check or deposit a check or whatever for my dad. That's the only But you, he said, I just met him. I don't really know him. He doesn't know this man, but you just Oh, I didn't do anything. I just cash a check cuz I was asked to cash a check. That's it. Okay. >> They were illegal. I was just asked to, you know, see if I can cash a check for him. And that's what I went to go do. And obviously it was a problem. >> Now I can't trust them damn person. >> I got And so who who wanted you to cash the check? >> The guy driving. The guy I just met. I don't know. I don't even know his name. >> So did he have where did where did you guys meet at? >> Uh he met him I met him through my cousin though. I think that that was the one that had ran off. >> Okay. Okay. It's your cousin. >> My cousin. He's not really my blood cousin. >> Uhhuh. >> But I known him from the neighborhood when I was growing up. >> Okay. >> But I said I just met the dude. >> Okay. So >> the other dude I knew. >> Where were you guys at when you met up? >> My house. He came to pick me up. >> Oh, we're on Gridley. >> Yes. >> Okay. So he came to pick you up and then he What did he say? >> Oh, we're going to cut Can you catch the check for me? He didn't say nothing about it being legal. He didn't act sketchy. >> Mhm. I I didn't know what was going on. I thought I was doing a good thing so I can get a little bit of money for myself. >> That's all that was. I didn't I didn't like I said I just met >> Yeah. >> I didn't even see that dude from Adam Nor until today. >> Okay. And he he didn't say anything about the check. Just that you needed >> No, he didn't say nothing about it being bad, good, nothing. >> Okay. >> Of course, he's not going to probably tell me anyways, but >> I didn't know nothing. I didn't know if I was doing any illegal stuff. Like I honestly did not know. >> Did he say pay you for it or give you anything? said he was trying to get me some money. >> Oh no, I I don't know what I did with my chat. I don't know how to bring it back. Oh no. Oh, okay. It came back. Okay. Sorry, I hit one wrong button. So, Play Cousin introduced him to this dude that he just met today and he said, "Can you cash this check?" And Play Cousin ran off. So, it was three people that started out this location and Play Cousin bounced. That's what I'm getting right now. >> He ain't say anything else. He just said that some money out of >> that or you'll get a phone or something. >> Am I going to jail? >> Uh yeah, it's looking that way. >> Why? >> Huh? >> Why? >> Uh at the I mean anywhere from stealing a check, trying to cash a check, receiving stolen property, theft. I mean there's, you know, >> but but where's the proof that I didn't do any of that though? I didn't go in there and cash a check or anything. How do how does anybody know that I'm not just that man's ride to anywhere? >> Okay. Because I mean it's based off the totality of the evidence, right? So, we've got people saying they saw you in a shop. Got video surveillance of the shop. You used to work there, you don't work there anymore. Checks go missing. Did I mean, is this the only one or are there other ones? You know what I mean? is if we go back there and look on the video and there's like three or four checks that are gone, you know, it's not going to really help you out, but we might be able to mitigate some of the charges, you know what I mean? Or something, >> this is going to come up to the prosecutor. So, at least that way I can put in the report like, hey, you know, he was saying, did they did they already read you, Miranda, right? Again, >> why do we need to mitigate his charges? He was the one that went to the shop and physically stole the checks and started all this. >> Okay, give me one second before I ask you any more questions. Hey, what? Hey, >> you want the windows down or? >> Yeah, I'm I'm I'm hot. >> What kind Bro, what kind of felonies are these? How are these even? >> What kind of felonies are these? >> What do you mean? >> Hey, can I done? Oh my. Can I hit my bait? >> Not right now. >> Can you get it? I'm burning it up. >> What filing is this? Can I ask what charge this is? Like felony, misdemeanor, or what? >> It's a felony >> of what? >> Uh, let me find that out for you. >> Please don't say one. Please don't say one. >> No, it's not. >> Is it like a three? >> It's got to be somewhere in there. Five. >> Oh, so I can get that [ __ ] dropped down then. You plan on doing this when you start talking about felony and the degree of felony and you're hoping for a certain number. You're your own worst witness. You're your own worst witness every time. You need to be quiet. >> It's a five. They can drop that down to a misdemeanor if they want. Right. Cuz I'm not bigger. They don't send the people to prison for fives. Right. >> What's that? I said they don't send people to prison for five fing. >> It all depends on the uh the judge and everything. >> Well, I I highly doubt I'm going to prison. >> He was arrested and charged with w identity fraud, passing bad checks, theft, possession of drug paraphernalia. All individuals >> that AI voice was struggling on that one. He was arrested for identity fraud, passing bad checks, theft, possession of drug paraphernalia. It only says one he. So now I don't know what the other one got charged with, but I'm thinking, see, I don't even know if that was for the dude with the big nose or not now. Oh god. Sorry y'all. I got my first bot on kick. I got to figure that out. All right. Um, but we're going to keep moving on. are presumed innocent until proven. Y'all can't hear me.
