hey hey this is trending at some point and this is my review of Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 episode one I try not to watch anybody else's review until I did mine just so um I could have my fresh look at it first but I will say that uh I do watch Love and Marriage Huntsville so anything Martel says is automatically going to be a lot to me say that right now he's that man is a liar so if you are a fan of Martel you're not gonna like my review most likely so let's put that out there okay so first scene I'm I'm reviewing this as I watch it so uh there's some things I don't know that's coming yet and you can you'll be able to tell later first thing charae is in the first scene um and I just want to say I wish her choice in men was as good in her choice and how she takes care of her body the mutual friend that terrain met Martell through is Carlos King Carlos king is not your friend if he introducing you to Martel she says she's really happy she didn't give up on love baby give up on it if this is if this is what you think you getting give up on it um dang so two seasons in a row she's gonna be just looking like a full over Dude again oh my God add him to the power with that doctor the dude that got prison in my tail I came in with the other ones but those are the top three I know y'all yes Bravo don't show off Martel body Let It Go Let It Go Martel better fit his fraud in my opinion scammy ass down somewhere gonna call tired of opportunities here's the thing Todd adds value he does add value Martel subtracts value so let's say both are opportunist one at least did benefit the person that they saw an opportunity in Martel takes takes takes uh sucks the life out of out of people he's around uses doesn't bring doesn't give anything back so Martel please stop just just be quiet and I did see some of Sheree's tweets uh back and forth with candy and I just want to say charay you doing it again you looking like a fool again oh and the other one that made her like a fool what in the dude it was Kim Zolciak you went hard for somebody that just didn't deserve and you come out looking like a fool and then here you go again like you you can see right you you you say you watched the show right this this man don't even claim you Andy meets with Don Juan and Carmen um that one brings up charades not sales she by she not ready yeah charay like there's one thing yeah you get an influx of energy and okay your site crashed but even when it became available it was not what was on in your Runway it was not that they were uh would they say she by Sheen or something like that pieces that were just marked up really high and Candy does make a good point she always says she has people you try to help her out and she's just never quite ready like it's still the white fashion fashion show with no Fashions or whatever so poor A's that she she took a call Kenny took a call while she was in confessional and Ace is like you know I like it when you help me you help me to to understand better and so that's so sad oh um Kenya and monietta show up to meet to see candy and uh they bring up monietta uh not defending candy when Marlo was saying whatever she said last season Milo will be starting so much missed and they give him one yet a basically a chance to address it and apologize that's how I see it so Marietta's playing Matchmaker and there's a guy named Roy that she introduced Kenya to and Kenya says she's crazy about Roy right now I I wish the best for her can you call himself a chocolate Barbie doll and I agree she is so so pretty yes King you are you are a chocolate Barbie doll before I say this next thing I just want you to know okay first of all if you haven't figured out I am a black woman um also I do have 4C textured kinky hair that I do wear out I've been wearing my hair out for a while but uh like years so when I say this next thing it is not texturism it is purely you know as someone that that does wear their hair in this style my opinion I cannot stay in the shape of Candy's afro in her confessionals it's not it's something not quite right it's it's going real boxy almost has like sharp Corners about to happen um and it needs to go either one of one of two ways it they need to shape it up because I know I don't think that's her hair I think that's a wig afro that means that they could have gotten her a better wig afro not talking about the texture I'm talking about the shape number two um she either can use that and maybe pick it out more to play Garnet from Steven Universe like cosplay as Garnet because Garnet's really cool I love her little afro uh as far as in the cartoon goes um or yeah like I said need to just shape it up get her she needs to get a different afro wig like Cynthia's was big but the shape was right this one just I don't know it seems like Party City and I like candy so this is a bit like some I'm gonna say eat things I don't like candy I just I don't like this wig I don't like the shape of this afro okay y'all maybe it's because it has the bangs uh and it's sitting right above right above or on her eyebrows and then the shape of Candy's face so it's accentuating boxy maybe that's what it is um they can do better by candy candy be wearing some beautiful hair the one where they all had their uh the shot the promo shot that they have that afro that candy had that was Diana Ross that was that was beautiful and it was it was even bigger it's not it's not about that it's something about this specific afro wig that's rubbing me the wrong way Bravo is bringing up the receipts about Martel um and this is like the light receipts honestly because this is just more to show that he is not really serious about charade the the other ones and I don't know what they're gonna show later but the other ones from Love and match Huntsville this man is in my opinion he is a stalker he does not respect court orders he does not respect the law he does not respect women's face um their peace of mind he is he is not a good man y'all and can you can you was being nice that she said Martel lightweight tried to like flirt with her or see what she was about uh through her Instagram DMS or whatever um I see her she is trying to go nicely about it because when Kenya doesn't like somebody that's not how she's gonna phrase what's going on so she is really trying to keep it keep it cool with Sharay that how I'm seeing it I'm not sure how I feel about this KFC chicken nugget is it a commercial is it a real commercial I'm honestly asking um I don't know it's still I it's leaning towards uh Mary J Blige uh crispy chicken I don't like it I don't like it okay and then just okay okay the fact that when candy goes up to Kenya phone she has to hit accept that means that anything Martel says about her replying and kind of giving it back to him I don't know that has to be a lie because until you hit accept I don't think that they really want to know you've seen it and you haven't that means you haven't replied yet from what I understand so I think they might be showing stuff so I don't know if some come up and show that she had reply to him but I don't think I don't think that's how it works okay yeah okay yeah she had never replied to him and now he then deleted his messages I can't stand that man I feel I do feel bad for candy she starts crying when she's trying to explain like one of the most recent arguments she's had with Todd and her tears seems like they're coming from the fact that he did something on purpose to make her seem like she doesn't adjust at all so I do feel bad if that's what he's doing um this is one of those where you can kind of understand where both are coming from Candy's always been been on her thing before she met Todd that he had ideas so there's more things that they do that keeps her busy um she does have more kids now um so like Kenya said try to compromise find ways to spend more time together because that is true like they've been really good together I don't want to see them end up divorced either um so that was that was that was nice um but to Eastern owning their own household and they know what they need to do and what they can handle so who are we to tell her that she's doing too much I've never heard a father be told that they're doing too many projects so I just that's that's where I'm coming from okay so Sonia and Ross have their scene next and I just want to say this she hasn't started talking yet so this is just me from last season impression I hope Sonia makes wiser decisions this season um she is she was not a great judge of character to me last season and she was she was trying to manufacture a couple things last season I think she temperature checked wrong and thought Oh Drew's the one I'm gonna go after maybe because I drew and Kenya used to butt heads I don't know but I just hope she makes better better decisions this season okay so let's show Sonya's little immediate family tree of who all is in the house right now and Sonia is throwing Ross uh his her husband a 40th birthday party and it's Harlem night's theme which is this uh now I don't care how many black people do I love Harlem Nights so I'm not saying that I'm just saying this the timing is interesting that I think the most recent last season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City uh they did a holiday thing for they nickname him Coach I cannot recall the housewife's name but the one that's going to jail or in jail for scamming her uh she threw him a hollow Knight's theme I believe um but that's one of my favorite movies so I'm not knocking it it's just crazy that that is happening so soon after another one like it and it's in the Bravo universe that's all but yeah I like it though I like the thing oh no Sonia hired her brother-in-law as her assistant before they even started describing problems I was like that's not good well her sister is saying that Sonya crosses boundaries with uh her sister's husband AKA Sonya's brother-in-law um like she gave an example that uh like he could be eating dinner and Sonia's trying to throw tasks at him and I don't know to me it all depends on compensation too like and I know she's probably not compensating him enough for him to be on the clock even when he you know is eating dinner like there's got to be a start and a stop time or you're really probably underpaying the person because when it gets into them those wee hours you're probably not still paying the rate that that they charge either per hour or however they have it broken down so yeah it's like you kind of cutting into time I I can believe it because I just don't think her budget is big enough to compensate him for going into extra time and then she's probably not in her mind accounting that as work time but it is it is if you're making me think about work talking about work we're on the clock then Ross don't want to be in the middle of it he said I'm going to check on Deuce yeah don't get in the middle of sisters um you're the in-law don't just don't even do a raw Smart Choice yeah I think Sonya is operating in the space of y'all are living in my house kind of living off of me and I'm gonna ask when I feel like it the same thing Porsha was doing with her sister I think but I know I know even if Sonia don't say it out loud it's because she like y'all in my house I'm kind of bankrolling y'all uh at least a hefty portion of it and all I'm asking is blank unless they edited it out I see that the mom didn't say nothing the dad didn't say nothing Ross walked away so the scene with Todd and candy at their house and Todd is busy and it seems as if his work is encroaching on family time I don't have I don't have anything for this scene I don't have a side to take on this one it seems that they're kind of equally doing some things so that's I don't have anything on this one I just I have a couple little cute screenshots for y'all for the scene that's it I ain't got nothing is with Marlo and her nephews and before it goes too far I want to say it now while I still feel the warm fuzzy um I love seeing Marlo and her nephews together and they were making quesadillas which is so cute so I will say that now just in case it goes left later oh wow so Marlo's sister is out of jail now Marlo still has custody um and she has Marlo says her sister hasn't tried to contact her nephews and Marlo says those are my boys I really love to hear that because even though even had the sister got out of jail and tried to contact them I do think it's good that Marla keeps the custody just so they can have a better quality of life and then still have a relationship with their mom but sometimes living with your biological parent isn't always the best even if they're not literally you know locked up or anything so I think for them I hope she I hope it stays stable like this and they graduate high school from being in her custody um I just I wish the best for the children they didn't make these choices Marlo and her nephews have a life coach now she seems to have a therapy background I hope she does um but this seems really good for them they can address some things head on um I do like that they address Marlo giving them away last season and then um just some hurt that has happened she honestly seems like she is facing the fact that uh she feels short on some things and then they're facing the fact that you know she can't be perfect so this is really good I really like this like I don't even know the words I want to say but this feels really nice wow okay Marlo is giving gentle parenting a chance I'm I'm proud and for her to even be aware of the phrase gentle panting hey it can only it can only be positive for the children I'm noticing when I perk up on certain scenes and they're all the ones that seem organic like Sonya comes by Sheree's house and they're workout Buddies yes give us more of that this is what I want to see you know like this is it give us this this seems like that's so natural they are of course they're fit people I see them working out something says how they kind of first did their first album together was working out I like this Sonia's about to fill charae in on uh the conversation she had with her sister and unless they cut out all the yelling uh it was weird that Sonya phrased it as me and my sister had the biggest fight and I'm like is this why things get weird in your head sometimes uh like do you blow things out of proportion because you know how she came at Drew I'm like well shoot that might have been Sonia's reality because that was a big the biggest fight between you and your sister like that and that seemed like we're gonna have a conversation about this but not not a fight you know um so maybe that's why Sonia came unnaturally at Drew because things go differently in science uh mind so cheray's friend Courtney comes uh to Sherry's house as well Sheree said uh she's known they've been friends for years their kids went to school together um I think Courtney's the one that candy later tells that she would head but head butt her because Courtney Courtney's being turned off already and I see Courtney already marketing your jewelry and she said she does dang I forgot that fast she does something else too but she marked with that jewelry real fast okay I would love to know the answer to this but Courtney says that she kind of knows candy and she she said candy had been going around similar circles asking about Courtney and um in a way I guess that doesn't seem friendly so I am curious to know was candy curious about her and then what made Courtney get on Candy's radar damn dogs all right she said the only time candy is not talking about me is when she's eating or sucking d wow charade we're coming out hot we're just okay all right um this Courtney starts asking charae about Martel is that why charade's glowing no charade's glowing because she probably has a good skin regimen and she takes care of her body it is not Martel ask monietta to hook you up with somebody she she got king of somebody please science said y'all not gonna clown her this season about her party throwing she said her original budget was 40K and she ended up spending about 100K on the party um it's her money not gonna count her Pockets uh if that made her feel good and they can do that then it's worth it okay then it cuts to Marlo and Rico it's good to see Rico again I haven't seen him on TV in a while I'm actually happy to see him Marlo said to stick to the spoofs because Broadway isn't working out for candy and singing isn't well Marlo now that's not true I think Katie just got a nominated for you for Tony I believe so it's doing something for I'm only bringing this up so I can show the screenshot but Kenya said her expectations for the party are low um and basically she's hoping she goes back she said she won't accept the next invite if it's like the last party which we already seen and it's not like the last party and the producer asked her that question I'm sure Ralph is full of kaka he said he went King asking where's Drew and he's like she's not feeling well well that was a family emergency actually a family crisis why are you standing here I know Kenny about to ask that question but I want to know too why are you standing here why are you here you are the plus one you can't show it without the person that made you the plus one you need to go this ninja is trash to me he is so trash before I forget this Harlem Nights theme party is 10 times better than Jin I remember her name now Jin Shaw's uh party but I think it's also because Jen they were broke at that time and that friend whoever's house they had hosted Coaches Party at that's who also kind of bankrolled it so I understand it it's not going to be like this but yeah this one is doing it right I love the table um like the the I think it's the craps table I think that's what it's called I I do like no this is really really good this is a nice size venue and everything you did really good Sonia Sonia and Ross enter uh in a grand way as they should Ross Got The Look Down to the tee he looked like uh quick which was Eddie Murphy's character and uh I know his last name was candy on there but Richard Pryor's character he got a good mix going on love it love it Sonia looks gorgeous as always she's such a little thing so on the Bravo side Martel says to Kenya yes we're men's they are officially dating on the own side with love of marriage Huntsville he keeps saying we friends well we good friends we're friends Tina said she thinks Sheree need a spin-off show called watch me date these dumb dudes I was like oh now I don't know how this is gonna go but Courtney don't let Marlo's excitement uh for your drama get you into some dumb drama with candy um because it don't be working out well ask uh when they call her the Muppet slash Oscar the Grouch from uh Real Housewives of Potomac when that girl tried to tell Candace that her husband was trying to talk to her and flirt with her Courtney be careful just pick your battles it's my first impression and I don't know if it's right it's just my first impression what Courtney does bring it straight to Candy about how her name came up from someone named Dina um and Courtney didn't seem to be escalating the situation but Candy's energy although she asked Courtney what's this energy Candy's energy seem to escalate first and maybe she's already on 10 irritated from something else but it does seem like candy came stronger first at Courtney Sheree calls herself a Ferrari um because Mariana's trying to tell her that hey we me and candy have heard he's at least seeing maybe one or two other girls here in Atlanta and charade's like well in her confessional charades like well I'm a I'm a Ferrari if he wants to downgrade to a Toyota that's him yeah he gonna bring that Toyota infection back to your Ferrari so you still might want to be careful and let it go let him go they cut back to Marlo uh no sorry to candy and Courtney arguing and they showed us a cut of Marlo uh I saved it for y'all so if you can see my see your screen this is me I am Marlo at this point I'm trying I'm like what's going on and I'm not in it I'm just around it no like yeah I'll be uh I need to hear what's going on it's getting a little cray cray especially because Milo's like thank goodness it's not me okay Kenya is telling Sheree that Martel stood up in her DMS race like let me see it now from what we saw earlier she's only going to see that Martel requested to message her but since he deleted his messages we won't know for sure what the message is said I don't like that charade called Martel over from the trailer I thought that Kenya had brought it up around both of them but Kenya came to charade as a a girlfriend to a girlfriend and now Keisha race calling him over I don't like it I just don't like it so it'll be the next episode when Kenya and Martel get into it directly so that's all I have for this episode thanks for hanging out with me talk to y'all later bye
