high school after several years as a
Marine Rector returned home and on
November 4th 1994 he became a Columbus
Police Officer Lieutenant Rector spent
his entire career working Patrol as an
officer a sergeant and now as a
lieutenant
regardless of his rank Lieutenant Rector
always viewed himself as a patrol
officer first

trying to have a lunch meeting and

was flagged on by a citizen who had a
problem being a patrol officer first
lieutenant Rector did his best to
mediate between the two parties
this is a situation where many men of
his rank would have simply punted the
problem to an officer of a lower rank
but not Lieutenant Rector recently with
29 years of service in the patrol
subdivision Lieutenant Rector decided to
take a job inside leaving his career as
a patrol officer behind
this new job should provide him with the
opportunity to Coast into his retirement
although we might have to handcuff him
to his desk to keep him there
on behalf of the citizens of Columbus
the patrol subdivision and specifically
the officers of Zone 3.

off on him then when I walked down there

my son is Artistic with a violent

flagged you down because I know his
history he had go in the room rate to TV

son or another son my son he's 14. he's
