There's a comment that I've been seeing on my social media lately that's really starting to get on my nerves. And it's on the video I have from 2018 where I took a pregnant homeless woman on her way to rehab and we stopped to have a burger on the way and had a conversation with her. The the comment is something the effect of, you know, this cop is rare. Most cops wouldn't do this or, you know, something of that effect. What they're insinuating is most cops are dicks and I was just particularly nice that day. Uh my question is when's the last time that you did like something like that for a homeless person? When's the last time that you stopped your car, um went out and talked to a homeless person, put them in your car, and took them out for a bite to eat. I have done it a bunch of times. I've done it as a police officer and actually have done it as a regular citizen as well. Um the mo the majority of the people that are criticizing cops for not doing this stuff more often, have never done it themselves. Um the other question I have is, have you been out in public recently? Have you seen the way people treat other people? Um it it's not good. It's not good when you go out and you're walking around. People don't look each other in the eye. They don't talk to each other. They don't say hi. They don't greet each other. This isn't a problem with the police. It's not rare that police do this. This is a societal problem. Uh the fact of the matter is that police officers are put in situations where they do this way more frequently than a member, the general member or a member of the general public. Uh, comments like this are really starting to get on my nerves cuz for some reason we're super ready to criticize the cops for not being more kind to homeless people when our when our population in general treats everyone like
