yeah on July the 4th
2023 Independence Day at approximately
6:17 p.m. an officer with the Columbus
Division of police was traveling on
South Hig Avenue with his lights and
Sirens activated the officer was
responding to an officer in trouble call
out of an incident with shots being
fired unfortunately the officer did not
make it to this call because a citizen
who did not hear his sirens and did not
see his lights entered the roadway
causing a traffic collision South hake
Avenue is a RightWay street with no stop
signs the citizen entered the roadway
from a side street with a stop sign and
was issued a citation for failure to
yield from a stop sign one frustrating
thing about this incident is that the
officer's front-facing Cruiser camera
malfunctioned and did not record the
crash the camera should have
automatically turned on when the officer
activated his lights and Sirens this was
investigated by his supervisor and
remains a mystery to this
day
194 I just got involved in a 104 here at

Fremont uh van pulled out in front of me
