hey guys welcome back to the channel the video i have for today i'm going to start that with a question who do social workers call when they can't handle their patient the answer to that question is they call the police and that's what happens in today's video officers responded to the area of a net care crisis center on a call about a man who was in mental health crisis he walked out of the facility while wearing no clothes and the people at the facility had to call the police to come and get him and bring him back this incident is actually going to be broken up into two separate videos on the channel today should be wednesday when this is released the second half of this is going to be released on friday the reason for that is there were multiple officers who responded on this run there was one officer who made contact with the mail and kind of guided him through the process and spoke to him the entire time he was the main officer who was kind of responsible for making the man feel comfortable and de-escalating the situation to a point where they could safely get him into treatment the video you're going to see today is going to be the officers who are with him on the run and they're helping him take care of some of the more administrative things to facilitate this happening so what you'll see is a little bit of the interaction with the man in the beginning and then the officers go to netcare to talk to the staff about what had happened that section of the video is going to be redacted but i'm leaving the sound on for you it's only about two minutes and that was condensed down from a seven minute part of the video i will say that this incident took about an hour and i was able to condense this part down to about 20 minutes the video that's coming out on friday is going to be the body camera of the officer who spent the most time with the man who was in crisis there's a good chance that that video is going to be 45 minutes to an hour because i doubt there's going to be a lot that i can trim out of that one so with all of that being said i hope you enjoy this video i hope you learned something and i'll talk to you soon columbus police tech 134 hi
