Okay, first video up we have this is I was muted. Okay, first video up is from Gavlg Gazers. This one was sent to me. I also had this saved in my own queue because I knew I wanted to watch this one. This young lady handled herself well. Um she did not have representation, but she just, you know, she went in the way. You should go if you're trying to defend yourself and you're representing yourself. Um, and I am very disappointed obviously in this officer for lying. But we'll get started. If you don't like interruptions, the links to the videos will be in the description box at the end of the live. So, let's go ahead and get started. >> Following too close on 2024 TK06653. You're also charged with improper um lane change on case 2024 TK 06652. U Mr. Typton, are you ready to go forward with trial? >> Yes, your honor. State's going to call Lieutenant Jonathan Kerry to the um to the Zoom call. >> All right, >> Lieutenant Kerry, raise your right hand for me. Do you solemnly swear or affirm any testimony you give in this matter will be true? >> All right, you can put your hand down, sir. All right, Miss Steel. Um you understand that you have the right to ask questions of any witnesses brought by the state. The state has the burden of proving the case against you beyond a reasonable doubt. You do not have to give any testimony or evidence against yourself. You um have a fifth amendment right against self-inccrimination. Um and the state needs to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt. All right. Do you understand? >> Yes. >> All right. Mr. Typton, you may um introduce your witness. >> Yes, your honor. Uh Lieutenant Kerry, please state your name for the Zoom call. >> Uh Lieutenant Jonathan Kerry. >> All right. And Lieutenant Kerry, how are you currently employed? Uh currently the lieutenant for the Clayton County Sheriff's Office, Blackhawk traffic unit. >> And how long have you been with the Clayton County Sheriff's Office? Uh >> the Sheriff's Office probably a little over two years. >> And you have prior experience before that, correct? >> Yes, I was with the Clayton County Police for four or five years. >> Okay. Uh, and during that time, both with the sheriff's office and the police department, uh, were you, um, have you been post-certified? >> Yes. >> Okay. And being postcertified, are you authorized to investigate crimes, uh, issue citations, and make uh, and make arrests based on your investigations? >> Yes, I am. >> Okay, then. So, I want to bring your attention to March 20th of 2024. Uh, were you working for the Clayton County Sheriff's Department at that time? >> Yes. >> And were you on duty that day? >> Yes, I was. >> Okay. Did you have um did you at any point in time uh have occasion to make contact or initiate a traffic stop with um a white Chevrolet tracks uh that was driven by Miss Sydney Steel? >> Yes. >> Okay. Can you tell me about uh what drove you to uh or what um caused you to um initiate contact from a steel? >> Yes. So um during my role during the day I um I look for erratic lane changes, reckless drivers, speeders. So while traveling um north on Boulevard passing over 8, I was was monitoring traffic in my rearview mirror. observed a white SUV changing several lanes, not giving the public enough notice that she was changing lanes, nor was she using a turn, nor was the vehicle using a turn signal. Um, I observed the vehicle getting closer to me as she was changing lanes, she was also following another vehicle too close. Uh once she changed from lanes uh two back to lane one several times she passed me I'm sorry from lane three to lane two. She passed me in lane three and that's when I conducted a traffic stop on that vehicle and spoke with the driver. Um while speaking with the driver, she advised that she was in a hurry to get to Atlanta because she had a hair appointment. >> Okay. >> All right. I'm going to stop here because I have to I got to give a few of my thoughts. It's crazy how detailed he is knowing that he's actually lying about their encounter. It's crazy. So, he's detailed in the she changed from lane two to lane three, blah blah blah blah blah. Very detailed in that, but you're also lying. And then it is unfortunate they're in Georgia. It's unfortunate that he has a disdainful tone. I don't know if disdainful is a word. He he has disdain in his tone that she was heading to a hair appointment. Uh as if that matters like um what? So what? But I it's the tone in which he says it like gh a hair appointment of all things. And just understand that this man is lying pisses me off that he put that in there as if it's just something bad that she was headed to. But I'mma let it go on. But he's I'm mad because I already know he lying. It's just make it's just making me mad. >> Um you say she didn't use any turn signals. Is that correct? >> Correct. >> Okay. And what was the basis of the following too close? >> She was following u another vehicle too close as she was changing lanes. >> Based on your knowledge, your training, and your experience, as well as what you observed, was that a safe maneuver for her to make? I commend her on not talking while he's talking because it is his turn. No matter if he's lying or not, he gets to tell his lies and everything else. Um, and then she goes, and I just commend her for that because it doesn't do you any favors to interrupt and do things outside of how the court proceeding should go. So, I just want to say that cuz I don't know if I could control my face as I'm watching him lie on me. I would not talk, but I think my face would be doing a lot more than hers. >> No, it was not. >> Would a reason would a reasonably prudent driver um was a reasonably prudent driver would a reasonably prudent driver uh have followed that closely? >> No. And if that vehicle in front of her would have slammed on brakes, uh she would have been at fault and that definitely probably would have caused an accident. >> Okay. And with the improper lane change, um, was there anything improper? Tell me about what was improper about that lane change besides just the signal. >> So, when you change lanes, you have to give the public enough notice that you're about to change lanes. Um, which she failed to do. >> Okay. >> Several several times, not just one time. >> Okay. So, >> that the prosecutor just asked besides the signal, besides the signal, what does she do? And I feel like he just rewarded the signal. the signal light. >> About how many lane changes did you observe? >> I believe I observed three. So she went from the number three lane to the number two lane, then back to the number three lane. >> Okay. >> Occur in Clayton County? >> Yes, it did. >> Okay. Uh I have no further questions at this time. >> All right. And still, did you have any questions of Lieutenant Carrie? >> Yes. >> Go ahead, ma'am. >> So, you said that you were observing me in your rearview mirror when I did all of these l Okay. So, if you're observing me in my rearview mirror, how are you able to see how close I'm driving behind another car? If you're looking If you're looking in your rearview mirror, you would see the car that's in front of me. You wouldn't be able to see my car. >> I can see your car and the car in front of you. >> Got you. So, how are you able to determine how close my tires were to the trunk of the car in front of me? >> I can't determine how close your tires are, but I can determine how close your bumper is to their rear bumper. >> And how were you able to do that? >> By looking at it. >> And what did you see? How close was I? If you had to guesstimate, >> you're less than a car length behind him. >> Less than a car length. >> Correct. >> And this was another car and this was not your car. >> Correct. >> Okay. I don't have any more questions for you. >> All right. Anything else, Mr. Tipton? >> Briefly, your honor. Um, Lieutenant Kerry, was your view of the car immediately in front obstructed? >> No. >> Was your view of Miss Steel's vehicle obstructed? >> No. >> Which lane were you in, sir? >> I was in the number two lane. >> Okay. And which lane did you observe the did you observe the vehicle in when it was following too close? number three. >> Okay. Would you say that? >> No. >> Well, when she was falling too close, she was in the number two lane as well. >> Okay. >> She went from number three lane to the number two lane, followed the car too close, and then switch back to the number three lane. >> Okay. Was there um were there multiple cars that she followed too close to or just the one? >> Uh just the one. >> Okay. Okay. And um h and so uh you had an unobstructed view of her front of her front bumper and the rear rear bumper of the car immediately in front of her. Correct. >> Correct. By using my side mirror at that time. >> Okay. Awesome. Thank you. No further questions. >> All right. >> Um I do have another just one more question. Go >> ahead. Um >> what was the kind of car that I was driving behind? >> I'm not sure. Okay. Do you remember the color? >> No, I I don't. >> Okay. Just to read y'all the text. Um the Gavlgazers, they add their own um like they said, they put fact toys and and little comments and stuff in here throughout the video. Gavlgazer said, "Brilliant strategy, poking at the things he wasn't sure about." So that's what they put. I don't have any more questions. >> All right. Um, did the state have any additional witnesses to present? >> No, your honor. State's going to rest this time. >> All right. Miss Steel, did you wish to present evidence and testimony? >> Yes. >> All right. You >> cook, baby girl. Cook. Come on, Miss Steel. >> You understand that um you're not required to present any evidence or testimony? >> Yes. >> All right. You're waving your right to remain silent in order to utter offer evidence and testimony. >> Yes, ma'am. >> All right. Raise your right hand for me. You solemnly swear or affirm any testimony you give in this matter will be true. >> Yes. >> All right. You can put your hand down. Go ahead. Tell me what you need me to know. >> Okay. So, um the day this happened, I stopped at the gas station. At the time, I was 6 months pregnant. I stopped at the gas station, grabbed some water. I get out of the gas station. I turn right. As soon as I turn right, I turn into a light. I pulled behind the police officer. No other car was in front of me other than the police officer. When the light changed, it's like he wasn't moving. So, I put my signal on to get in the lane to the right of me. I got in the lane to the right of me. Sounds like he was distracted to me if the light turned green, but he wouldn't go. Sound like he might have been a little distracted. He then got in the lane behind me and I looked in my rearview mirror and I'm like, he is driving so close to me. Like, he was so close. I could not see his tires. This is why I asked this questions cuz in driver's training they teach you you have to at least be able to see the car's tires behind you. So that's how I was able to determine that he was driving too close to me. It was not a car lane behind me. So then I'm like, "Okay." So I put my signal on, get back in the left lane. He gets back in the left lane. So I'm like, "What is happening right now?" Like I was so confused as to what's happening. I'm like, "Am I in his way? What's going on?" So then I did get back into the right lane. And when I went to get into the right lane, that's when he turned his light on and pulled me over. And I was confused as to one why he chose to do that. Um because I was like I said I was just confused. And he asked me I said I asked him I said why did you pull me over? And he said are you in a hurry or something like that? And I was like well I'm trying to get to my hair appointment because I was going to get my hair done for my baby shower. And he's like um okay. Okay. And then asked for my information and when he >> okay um gavvel gazers put hair appointment and for a baby shower. So you know she remembers the details of this particular day. >> He came back and told me one driving too close. I'm like how was I driving too close when I pulled up behind you at a red light. So I literally was not driving. You weren't driving. The light was red. And then when the light changed colors, you you didn't really take off. So I'm like, "Okay, let me get out of this man's way because I have somewhere I have to go." And clearly he is does not. >> They just said it. They put anyone else get the sense that this guy was on his phone cuz I think he was looking at his phone and didn't see the light change, which he should have just let it go. Like why did you try to give this young lady a hard time? Are you were you just embarrassed? You were distracted. It you could have been running a license plate. we probably wouldn't even have known what you were doing or not we but you know people around you like why why why target her? >> So that's when I got over and also I have a 2024 Chevy tracks my car you literally cannot switch lanes without putting your signal on cuz it will jerk you back into your lane. >> So for so the accusation of her not using her signal like multiple times H one, I don't change lanes, especially while I was 6 months pregnant without giving anybody proper notice because I wouldn't want to put myself or my son in danger. And then that's why I also asked what was the car because hm there literally was not another car in front of me other than him. And then when I got over for him to see all of these different lane changes, he was right behind me. And I did switch lanes that many times because he was driving so close up on my bumper to where he was correct. If I would have put on my brakes, he would have hit me in the back of my car. >> She said, "You told one part right. You were riding so close to her car. Had she break checked you, you would have hit her." So every characteristic of bad driving that he's describing was him doing it and yet he found the audacity to put it on her. And I'm not going to hold you like I don't know how it works for the average like citizen to get a hold of it. But I also would have tried to get some traffic cam lights uh footage. I would I would for this I would have tried. Um there's no way. Uh-uh. You're not gonna sit here and lie boldface lie on me like this. >> Okay. >> Gav gazer said and that folks is what we call an ass whooping. >> Any um questions, Mr. Tipton? >> No, your honor. >> All right. Anything else, Miss um Steel? >> No, ma'am. No, your honor. Okay. Argument >> state say we'll submit on the facts your honor. >> All right. Still I found you not guilty of the offenses before the court. Each of you are given testimony in this case. Each person has sworn um submitted sworn testimony without additional evidence. Neither test u um has greater weight than the other. Um, therefore, the court is not able to determine beyond a reasonable doubt that you committed an offense in this case and finds you not guilty on both offenses. >> Thank you. >> And I would file some type of internal request for like an investigation on him. This is not his first time. He's very comfortable with it. He has a chip on his shoulder. Um, this is my only encounter seeing this man, but I would be very curious about other complaints and reports against him. And I would try to get a hold of that traffic cam footage uh to build my case against him and file a complaint because that is not right. And to me, the more you get the audacity and the um entitlement to think you can do things and get away with it, I think that I I think people escalate just like people in uh that are abusers in relationships, their violence escalates. I feel like behavior like this escalates. I got away with this, push a little bit more, away with this, push a little bit more. So, I do think that internal complaint should be filed against him if it's not already. In fact, I don't know if that that's public information or not, but his name is Lieutenant J. Carey, Clayton County. This might be a long time away. Don't even know if I for sure will follow through, but I'mma look him up and just see if there's other people that have complained against him if that information ever bea becomes available. Don't know what it would show me. Uh, but I don't like that. I don't trust him in more ways than one. Um, but okay. So, now we're headed to what not to do on a traffic stop. I haven't watched this one in a while, so I only remember her crazy actions. I can't remember like, you know, oh, the police also could have done such and such. So, we'll watch it together to see if y'all have an opinion about how the police officer handled it, but I know I just remember I just remember a lot of her part on this one. So, we'll watch it together. And when stopped by an officer, she started crying poop. [Applause] >> Turn your car off. >> Delta, >> where are your keys? >> 414. >> I didn't know you were following me. I'm trying to get out the way. >> No, you weren't trying to get out of the way. You just continued driving. >> I didn't know you were trying to pull me over. I was just just trying to get out the way. My daughter doesn't have any more diapers and I'm just trying to get home. >> You weren't trying to get out of the way. You stayed in the same lane. >> Did you not see my lights and sirens? >> I wasn't sure if you were trying to stop me or anybody else. >> Did you see my lights and sirens? >> I saw your lights and sirens. I moved out the way. >> What are you supposed to do when you see lights and sirens? >> Move out the way. >> And what? >> Just move out the way. I wasn't sure if you were looking for me. >> What did I do? >> You're speeding. >> I was not speeding. >> You were speeding. >> No, I have my daughter in the car. I was not speeding. You were 30 over the speed limit. You were at 75 when you passed me. >> No, I was not. >> License, registration, insurance. >> I was not. >> License, registration, insurance. >> I'm sorry. >> Okay. >> Sorry, I was muted. Okay. So, he told her the reason for the stop. He cited her speed. You have to give your identification and the things, you know, your registration, insurance. You You do have to present those things. This is where you're already wrong at the traffic stop in my opinion. Let me know what y'all think as y'all are watching this as well. Um, yeah, we'll just keep watching. I was not >> for the third time. License and registration. >> No, I would like to speak to a supervisor. >> And I would like to record this. >> You're more than welcome to. >> My husband was literally right in back of me and I was not speeding. >> You passed me. He was speeding, too. >> He was not speeding >> for the fourth time. I need your license or registration or I'm going to take you to jail. >> You're going to take me to jail? going to take you to jail if you don't give me your license. >> I have my daughter in the car. You're really going to do that? >> I'm going to take you to jail if you don't identify. >> You're going to literally take me to jail with my with my 2-year-old daughter. >> I've asked you four times. >> Well, if your husband was right behind you, you know, shout out to a two parent household. He can take the daughter and you if you don't present your information, you go to jail. It's not you go to jail for the speeding. is if you do not present the things you're required to present. So you are choosing to be arrested in front of your daughter if you don't present the information or whatever and cause all this extra stuff. That is not a choice anybody else is making that I'm seeing >> your license. I'm going to take you >> and you're going to give me a speeding ticket when I was not speeding. >> I'm going to take you to jail. >> I was literally doing 40. >> Are you going to give me a driver's license? >> No, I'm not. >> Step out of the car. >> No, I'm not. >> Step out of the car. >> No, I'm not. Step out. >> Step out of the car. >> I want to know what world do people live in? Like why do you think this like you actually are going to get to stay in this car right now? Like what life do you live where you're like, "Oh, I'mma tell the officer no." And he's going to be like, "Oh, okay. Since you said no." Like, what is happening? >> No, you can get a supervisor. Step out of the car. >> No, I do. I am not going to step out the car cuz my 2-year-old is in the car. >> Step out of the car. >> I am not stepping out the car cuz my 2-year-old is in the car. >> No. 50 on my road. >> Out of the car. >> No. >> Step out of the car. >> He I was not speeding. I was doing 40. >> He wants to arrest me. He wants to arrest me with in the car. And I'm not getting out the car until you want to be in >> out of the car. >> No. >> You are under arrest. >> I am not under arrest. I have my 2-year-old in the car. You want to arrest me saying that I was speeding and I was not speeding. >> You had the lights on. I moved out the way. >> No, you didn't. >> Yes, the I did. >> You drove? >> Yes, I did. >> You need to pull over. >> No, I You did not say pull over. I did not hear anything about you for your license or whoever pull over >> several times. >> No. >> Now get out of the car. >> Thick skin and thick. >> What do you mean you didn't hear ma'am pull over the lights behind your car? You're supposed to pull over in case you're in the way. You pull over either way. And then if you're you're the one that's being stopped, they just stop behind you. They don't have to use a PA system to to tell you to pull over with their words. The the lights are the indication you supposed to pull over. >> K is the worst ever combination in a person. >> Oh lord, I forget this channel. They be roasting people. Who is this? Hold on. Let me let me tell y'all who this is. Police insider. He be roasting. He do. Let me go back and see what he said. Lord >> not hear anything about or whoever pull over >> several times. >> No. >> Now get out of the car. >> Thick skin and thick head is the worst ever combination in a person. >> I want your supervisor. >> You are under arrest. >> You're I'm not under arrest. I'm a teacher. >> Out of the car. >> No, I'm not getting out the car because my 2-year-old is in the car. >> Get out of the car. >> No. Get your supervisor. I'm going to get. >> So, you're a teacher with lack of comprehension skills and basic rationalization and like I don't know the knowledge of a basic encounter at a traffic stop, right? Why can't she just take the ticket, fight it in court? Fight it in court. Court does not happen on the side of the road as that cuz the young lady has she tried to fight the ticket that officer gave her for reckless driving or whatever on the side of the road. It doesn't help you. But if you take the ticket and you argue in court like, "Hey, I I did not speed. I I now I'm not saying she win, but this is not how you do it." That's all I'm That's what I am saying. I don't I just don't understand some of these people's nature. Like people that argue at traffic stops. Like I don't get it. Like real arguing. You might have like a quick I didn't think I was speed. And they say, "Well, we we did see you speeding. We clocked you at this. Sign that ticket and keep it moving. >> Get your supervisor. >> Get your supervisor. You're not gonna touch me. Get your supervisor. >> Why? Because I'm black. >> Get out of the car. >> No. >> Why? Because I'm a different color. No, you're not going to touch me. You're not going to touch me. I have my 2-year-old in the car. What the hell is >> What the hell is this problem? >> Having a 2-year-old is not some type of immunity from arrest. It is not. Ma'am, get out of the car. >> Can I explain something? >> Out of the car. Out of the car. >> Arrest me. >> Ma'am, you're going to get tased. >> You're going to get tased. Stop. >> Out of the car. >> You're going to get tag. >> You're not going to You're going to get tased. You're going to get tased. You're going to get tased. Get out of the car. You're going to get tased. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. You're going to get tased. Get out of the car. >> That officer, y'all, I don't know if you saw it. I'm not going to replay it, but he was trying to pull a ham hawk out of That's what we, my family and I, that's what we call it, like a a thick leg. We say ham hocks, but he was trying to pull that ham hawk out of that seat. They going to be out of breath. >> Get out of the car. >> I had my 2-year-old in the car. Are you kidding me? >> Stop. >> No. What the hell? >> Are you You arresting me for what? >> No. Are you the superman? >> Yes, you're going to jail for resisting. Stop. >> I'm not resisting. >> You're doing it right now. Stop. >> I have my >> I don't care. We will take care. We will take care of them. But you're not helping the situation. >> No, you won't. >> You're not taking care of your own child by doing this. Okay. >> Okay. >> Relax your arms and we will get you handcuffed and then we will talk. >> I am trying to explain to him. >> If you would have just let us get you under handcuffs, then we could have done that. >> If you would listen, can you listen to me? Well, you need to relax first. >> You just drove more than a mile away from where he originally let you >> tell me to pull over. >> So, the emergency lights and siren. >> He >> Okay. The emergency lights and siren. That is telling you to pull over. Correct. >> He did not tell me to pull over. I moved out the way as an emergency vehicle. >> Please let go me. >> You're walking away. >> I'm talking to him. >> Keep talking to him then. >> All right. You're walking away. >> So, you're arresting me because of what? >> Ma'am, let's go to the front of the car. >> I'm sorry. We got to >> Are you the supervisor? >> No, ma'am. >> I'm trying to talk. >> Can you please tell the other men to get off of me? >> I am perfectly here. >> I am perfectly fine. Can you please get off of me >> before my mental health gets worse than what it is? I am telling you nicely. Yeah, >> I am telling you nicely. My 2-year-old is in the car. You did not tell me to pull over. >> That's what the lights and sirens mean. >> I did not know that. >> What I assume >> So, right now, you're being placed under arrest for resisting and battery on a law enforcement officer. >> Battery? >> Yeah, you punched me several times. >> I did not punch you. >> No, I did not. >> No, I did not. She keeps repeating her innocence like a broken record. As if she didn't just punch an officer in the face. >> Ma'am, real quick, I'm going to read you this before you say anything else. Okay. >> You have the right to remain silent. >> Criminal justice. I know what the my rights are. >> Usually the ones that get stopped at traffic stops and say that they have a bachelor's in criminal justice or they're a law current law student. For some reason, they always sound the worst. They sound like they didn't they um hadn't learned anything about a law because I feel like the ones that studied well and honestly also the people that never studied it and just have common sense act better than this. But the ones that are quick to say I'm in law school. I I graduated with a degree in criminal justice. It's like it's not showing. It's not showing >> anything. >> Can I get the baby, please? >> I need you to get your car out of the road first. >> But can I get the baby? Get your car out of the road first. >> Stay back. Stay back. >> You're hurting me. Stop playing around. >> You're hurting me. You're trying to help me. No, you're hurting me. >> You're hurting me. I'm just trying to turn around and talk to the supervisor. >> We need to relax and get three cops to stop me. >> Is this crazy? >> I have my 2-year-old in the car. What are you going to do with my daughter? Who >> Who are you, sir? Okay. I think he just said I'm her husband. So again, your husband can take her and you're going to get arrested. She is not your get out of jail free card. You You did this and this is unnecessary. This is one of the ones of begging to be arrested. This did not have to be an arrest. It It baffles me. I never understand. >> Yeah. Who's that? >> That's my wife. >> Okay. >> We're going to right now. No. >> We have to figure something out. >> No. I'm trying to get home because she has no more diapers. >> Well, she's under arrest right now, unfortunately. >> Um, for battery on law enforcement, officer resisting and all that stuff. >> Do you have proof for that? >> Yep. >> Everything we do is recorded on body camera. >> Yeah, but you guys pulled. >> So, it's So, it's two It's two dummies married together. That's what this is. He Do you have pre sir? I If this Okay. 20 October 2024, so just a year ago. Body cam's been out for a while. Do you have proof of her actions? The body cam. The car. The not the car. Sorry. The cameras that'll be in the police car. What are you talking about? So, it's two dummies. Child, pray for the ch. Pray for the 2-year-old. >> Are you guys going to like help us out with the kid here? Is that your reason for being here? Or is it to argue with me? >> Is why you got to >> I'm just asking. I'm just asking, buddy. >> You're asking and I'm asking. Why'd you take her off the car? If you cannot afford Ben, >> if you cannot >> take my daughter, please take >> No, we're not walking over there. Get off of me. >> Stop. You need to relax. >> I'm trying to talk to him and you >> talking to You're talking to a police right now. >> I don't give a >> You can decide at any time to >> Good for you, Miranda Rice. Woo. Deescalate. Can we deescalate? Can we just deescalate? Can I just get the baby? The baby's going to be traumatizing. >> Yeah, let's get her and then Yeah, >> she said she wants me to get her baby. That's traumatizing. But we're not walking up there, guys. We're staying here. >> Put the baby in the car. >> Hold on. Listen. If you guys want to make the situation worse than when we get Department of Children Families involved, okay, I'm not going to >> And that's crazy. Take your child and go home. Who is this? Did they say is this her mama, her sister? Who is this? Cuz I'm about to say it's a third dummy that's entered, but I don't know for sure. But I we'll see how she act. I don't remember. But we I for sure there are two adults right now that look like dummies to me. It's a child for the child to the car right now. >> She's doing that. We're trying to calm her down, but she won't listen. >> I know, but you can. It's easy for you to just give me the child. >> I don't want to do that. You have to give her away. She's not calm enough to ask that. I want to move her away. Hang tight. I want to move her away and then you guys can get the child. >> Um Kiara, you got to tell them that I could take the baby. >> Okay, I'm going with three dummies. I'm sorry because that's not what that wasn't the problem. They didn't say you're not going to be authorized to take the kid. The dad's right there. Of course, you're going to be able to take the kid. He said we need to move her away first and she's going to holler over that and say you have to authorize me to take. That's not the issue. So, everybody has lack of comprehension skills right now. >> I'll take the baby. Stop fighting. Take I need to make sure Ben take >> Can they get the baby? >> He's saying that I was speeding and I wasn't even speeding. >> No, get in the car. >> No, I need to I I will get in if you let me go. >> Don't grab her arm. >> I wouldn't get in if you let me go. Please >> go. Okay, we're letting you. >> No, no, no. >> Let go of me. >> No, we're not letting go of you. We're letting you get in the car. Where the am I going to go? >> Grab this arm. Relax, guys. Relax for two seconds. We're going to wait for this county deputy, the female, to get here, and then we will put her in the car. >> Yes. >> I would like a female >> because you guys are abusing your power. >> Behaving like a toddler when you're a parent to some should definitely be a felony. >> Are you a father? Are you a father? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I have two young kids. >> I am trying to get home because my daughter has no more diapers. >> That is all. >> Okay. >> That's all. >> Okay. So, why am I being pulled over? Can you please explain? >> It was explained to you. >> No, it was not explained to me >> multiple times. >> No, it was not. >> Okay. This is the officer that pulled you over >> because I asked him. I'm like, he pulled the lights. Nor did I hear on the assignment or the speaker or whatever to pull over. I moved. >> That's what the lights and sirens are for. >> I did not know it was for me. >> I was directing behind you. No, there wasn't. >> Yes, there was. >> No, there wasn't. You were. >> My husband was going so fast. you by yourself. >> My husband was next to me. You're You're blowing this way out of proportion. >> Okay, ma'am. Is there a reason you >> All I told him >> Is there a reason? >> Ain't no way. Ain't no way. They're blowing it out of proportion. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. I do not understand people like this. >> You didn't pull over. >> I did not know it was for me. >> Okay. So then once the officer approached your vehicle, how come you didn't give him your ID? >> I told him what was the reason why I was pulled over. He did not want to tell me. >> I told you for speeding. No, you didn't. >> And you disagreed with it? >> No, you didn't. >> Okay. So it's Before you say anything else, it was audio and recorded. Audio and video recorded. You still want to stick by that? >> And I told him I'm like, "My 2-year-old is in the car." >> He did not care that my 2-year-old is in the car. >> I know this officer very well. He would care. >> No, he didn't. >> Yes, he would. >> No, you did not. >> But man, we have to when we're doing a traffic stop, we have When I We have to do our job. I said, "Okay, my 2-year-old is in the car." And then you just automatically just said, "Get out the vehicle." >> After I >> turn You said, "Turn the vehicle." I'm talking to him. Shush. >> You said turn the vehicle off. Correct. >> 100%. >> I turned the vehicle off. >> Then I told you why I stopped you and I asked you for your license and you said no. And I asked for several times. >> Someone to take my daughter. >> We weren't even at that. All you were going to get was a speeding ticket and you blew it out of proportion to this. You escalated it to this. Yes, you did. That's why you're in the position you're at right now. >> You are arresting me for what reason? >> Resisting and battering. What am I? What am I resisting? >> For failing because my 2-year-old stop and then punch >> because my 2-year-old is in the car. >> You still have Did you care about the safety and security of my 2-year-old? Yes, sir. >> Obviously, you didn't go 30 over the speed limit. >> I was not speeding. >> I literally told you I'm trying to get home because she had no more diapers. She's a 2-year-old. She is not potty trained yet. public. >> So, you're really going to fight me on that? >> And you think you're high and mighty? Why? Because you're a police officer. >> I have I have my bachelor's degree in criminal justice. >> What does that mean? >> I know how everything goes. >> I have >> You're not making any sense. >> How am I not making any sense? >> Please. >> No. >> Let go of me. >> No. >> Where am I going to run? Over the fence? >> Ma'am, you've been flanging your arms everywhere. I don't I really don't know. >> I really don't know. >> Are you Spanish? >> No, I'm not. That's why >> I'm not >> I speak I'm sorryan Hispanic people speak with their their hands and because my hands are detained. >> If you're in in handcuffs you cannot be flaring your arms around >> and and battering an officer. You realize you did you punched off for No. >> No I did not. >> Okay. Well body cam. >> You want me to If I was to punch him, I'll knock him the out. Do you really really want me to try me? Do you really want to try me? I'm a teacher. Okay. I teach third grade. >> Okay. >> I wondered if she keep her job after this because wow, her judgment is horrible. And again, her not the fact that she is not recalling a very simple sequence of events is concerning. The lights came on. They said it took you a while to finally pull over. You're supposed to pull over for emergency vehicles whether you believe you're getting stopped or not. So, that's already an issue. They're not charging her with, but I think he said it took her a while to uh pull over. Then she says, "Oh, you didn't say on the, you know, the loudspeaker that you were pulling me over. They don't have to do that." Then he does tell you the reason for the stop that you say he never told you, but he did. He even he even cited her speed at 75, I think, in a 40 mph zone. Then she says, "I was not speeding." No, I was not. No, I was not. Then he says, "I just need your license, registration, and insurance." She refuses to give it. At that point is when she's when he says, "I've asked the fourth time." She's at risk of getting arrested. Then it turns into you're going to arrest me with my 2-year-old on the back. You don't have to be arrested at all if you present your documents. There's no arrest that would happen if you present the information unless you also are having a some type of DUI issue that would have come forth. But just the you just would have got a speeding ticket and that's it. But all that you forget all that and you just magically end up in cuffs. Um I couldn't tell if she punched them or not, but with the way she came for the call events, it's anybody's guess if she punched them or not. But either way, the resisting was there. even if it was resisting without violence. The resisting was there either way. Um then your h you and your husband are a perfect match because both of y'all sound silly to me. Um yeah, but we're just going to skip on all that. Then she says, "Y'all had to escalate this to this." No, you escalated this. This is crazy. She shouldn't be around kids, third graders, none of the graders. She No. No. She No. cuz I want to know what are you going to say that my child did that they probably didn't do because you can't recall events or talk or or understand your actions. I don't like it. Yeah. Yeah. I think she might talk to the kids any kind of way. Miss Lady Miss Lady One. Yeah, she did tell him to He actually stopped. I'm like, were you surprised or are you actually listening to her? Cuz no, I'm not. Imm Put her in the back of the car. I have my 2-year-old in the car. I am just trying to get my 2-year-old home. Look at the time. I just came from a business event. >> And you really trying to detain me for what reason? >> I saw the alarms, but did you say pull over? >> Ma'am, do you have a Florida driver's license? >> Yes, I do. >> Okay. So, >> I just moved here. >> Okay. When you license, they teach you that you have to pull over when you hear when you see lights behind you. >> I I was never told that. >> Okay. Well, then I don't know how you got your driver's license then because they teach >> because I came from New York. It was just a transfer. >> We don't know what New York >> y'all. She People from New York tell me they don't tell y'all to move over for emergency lights. This is stupid. She's stupid. I don't Mm- She should not be teaching nobody. >> She's lived in. But the law there does not require officers to yell or use their speakers specifically to enforce a stop. >> I want the supervisor. >> Okay. Here's my supervisor here. Okay. I would like to speak to >> I am the supervisor. I'm Sergeant V. How are you? >> Yes, ma'am. Good. >> Do you Are you a father? >> Yes. >> How many kids do you have? >> Two. >> And how would your kids like to see your >> Well, ma'am, if we ask you to get out, ma'am, if if we ask you to get out of the car and out of sight of your child, >> okay, he said it in a very nasty manner. >> If we ask you to get out, >> turn off the vehicle and step out the car. I'm like, "All right, get out of the vehicle." >> I'm trying to make a phone call to make sure that my arrangements for my 2-year-old >> doesn't work like that. Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that in Florida law. >> Okay. Why do I smell alcohol in your breath? >> I was thinking of it. >> He just said it. Why do I smell alcohol on your breath? Oh. M. >> Okay, ma'am. >> Thank you. This is the female officer that's going to >> Okay, ma'am. Do not tense up or anything like that. You're going to catch another touching me, but please do not. You don't need to grab me so forcly. Is my child out of the car? >> Yes. >> With your family over there on the can safely in her in her uh car seat >> where the car was the car seat took the car. They took the car seat as I just asked the man >> if it was installed properly. He said it was he said he didn't need help. Your daughter's fine. >> My car. >> It's Sergeant Ritter again. Okay. If you get in the car, I will lower the window and I will allow her to come up and talk to you. Is that okay? >> I have a 2-year-old. >> Okay. And she has custody of her right now. Okay. So, if you want to talk to her, I will let the officer roll down the window once you have a seat in the car. >> Okay. Would you like that? >> Okay, I will do that for you. >> The 34 yearear-old female was charged with resisting officer with violence, battery on law enforcement officer, neglect child without great bodily harm. >> All right. So they did not pursue to see for sure if she was under the influence, but I agree with that neglect child without great bodily harm on top of everything else. Battered online law enforcement officer resisting. Oh, they put resisting with violence. Well, there you go. Didn't even And look look y'all. Y'all you see what crime is not up there, which I have I I tend to see this a lot. You see what crime is not there? Speeding. It's not even on the charges. I cannot I cannot. All right, y'all. That's the end for now. Uh I will hopefully see you later this weekend. That is crazy. Wow. Wow. Wow. These people got to stop. That's crazy. Oh, and just to go back about that officer um that we watched in the first part that was lying. Yeah. He didn't even have a long career yet because it said two years at the sheriff's office, four years at Clayton County. He's on some uh I want to I'm about to make up a name, but it sounded like something like Blackhawk or something task force or something, but he has not been there long. And look at his arrogance. And he hasn't even been a police officer for long. And again, it leaves me to say he needs to be looked into about complaints that he may have had against him in his six years on the force. Um he's only going to get worse. He's a junior officer to me in my opinion at six years in service and he's already acting like that. Not this officer y'all just saw, but if you didn't see the first one we watched, that officer. Um, so yeah, I think he's a I think he's if he's not already a danger, he is a potential danger later on. But all right, y'all. I will talk to you later. Bye.
