Now! GET OUT THE CAR! GET OUT THE CAR NOW! ON THE GROUND! >> Most people expect a warning or citation from a traffic stop, but sometimes things get dangerous. >> Why are y'all pulling me over? WHY ARE Y'ALL PULLING ME >> IN ONE CASE, one driver refuses to exit her vehicle, locks the doors, and forces officers into a tense confrontation. >> Stop! Stop! >> WHAT ARE YOU DOING? LOOK WHAT YOU'RE DOING! STOP! >> Another woman's behavior outside a liquor store quickly escalates into a violent struggle with police. >> Don't Don't make it worse. We're trying to get you some help before we have to take you to the hospital, okay? >> The police ARE BEING HORRIBLE! HELP! >> MEANWHILE, officers investigate a luxury car theft where a suspect's story raises more questions than answers. >> And we have video surveillance of someone getting out of the car, the stolen vehicle, that matches your description. >> When the truth comes out, the consequences can be impossible to avoid. >> [laughter] >> Stop! Stop! Stop! >> On June 21st, 2025, officers stopped a vehicle after noticing the registered owner had a suspended driver's license and there was no proof of insurance on file. >> I'm Officer Val from the police department. The reason why I stopped you is I was alerted that the registered owner was not a valid So >> No, I am. >> Okay. Um do you have your driver's license? Is this uh registered to uh Is there a male registered to this as well? >> My kids father, but I don't know anything about his driver's license. >> Okay. Yes, I believe I'm I'm double-checking. I believe the vehicle is showing him as registered owner. So, um I don't know if you communicate with him. >> I can tell him. I This is the first time I've ever heard about that. >> Yeah. So, what it was telling me like in May of this of this year, he was suspended and it's probably for an insurance um reason. >> Oh. >> So, yeah. Yeah. >> I don't think he's aware of that. >> Did you co-sign to be on this or no? You did? Okay. You do have insurance? >> I I thought he did. That's That's why I said >> Okay. 26450 26450 6527 out of Florida by number. Thanks. Hotel 326 816 8692620 Lock him up. See if there's no insurance on it. >> I'm not sure. I thought he might have had it. >> Okay. >> It's possible. I >> Okay. Extra for whatever. She said she's registered owner as well on the vehicle, but it's only showing him. So I don't know if she's valid. I'm going to double check it, but there's no insurance. Oops. What? How you doing? >> While the investigation was going on, the woman told the officer her side story that made a lot of sense, but left a lot of questions unanswered. >> I'm calling them right now to get the insurance, so >> You doing what? >> Calling them right now to get the insurance >> Okay. >> information. >> All right. >> She said she's calling somebody for the insurance company. >> Okay. >> We'll see. >> Yeah. Yeah, it smells like it. I tried to stick my head in there. Try to stick my head in there and see if it was coming out from there or if it's like a car that drove by. >> I think I thought it was from here cuz it smelled like it was >> It smelled like it was from here though. Like I stuck my head in and it smells like it's >> like burnt. >> She's um >> I see the ashes and like the um Black and Mild wrappers on the center console area. >> So yeah, I'm just going to see she's not registered this vehicle. She said she is, but it's it's registered to him. What they got there? >> Yeah. Sounds good. How's it going? >> Pretty good. >> Yeah, I'm fine. >> All right. >> How tall are you, dude? >> 7'1" next month. >> Jesus. All right, so there's no insurance on the vehicle. All right, as of right now. So, you're not going to be able to to drive this vehicle. Nobody's able to drive this vehicle. So, it's going to get end up getting towed. So, there's no insurance showing on the vehicle. So, nobody can drive a vehicle in the state of Florida you have to have insurance on the vehicle. >> Okay, but I can get insurance if you don't know that it had a lapse. I That doesn't mean that our car got towed or anything like that. >> If there's no proof of insurance and there's no insurance on the file, you have to show proof of insurance. Uh so right right it's showing that you're not the registered owner of the vehicle. It's showing him, correct? So >> I can pull up where I'm the co-owner. >> Or Or just hear me out. He's been suspended for financial responsibilities, probably because of an insurance issue for not having insurance, okay? Um we have no insurance on file. There's no proof of it. So it's leaning towards this right now insurance doesn't exist on the vehicle. Which is a problem regarding to anybody driving the vehicle. >> Okay, but why? Like I look right down the street and my husband drives the car all the There was no reason to pull me over and say that the registered vehicle, but he's not the one that's driving it. >> Okay, so >> Cuz I have kids that we're both on it and I don't know that his insurance lapsed on my car as well. So >> It's showing him as the the registered owner, so and then driving by with this the dark vehicle thinking that's him driving the vehicle, so pull him over pull you over to you. However, there's no insurance on the vehicle. As of right now there's nobody showing you're not able to show he's not able to show, so that's an issue cuz you're in the state of Florida. >> get a hold of him. I don't know. He might have switched the insurance. >> What's your number again? Okay. >> He didn't know if he switched insurance cuz there's no proof of that. I can explain everything to her now. Once you can >> show proof of insurance it's showing not on file and based on you. It's not showing proof of insurance. >> Yeah. >> She's cited as such. If she does have proof of insurance then she can bring it to the clerk within what is it? 10 days? >> Yeah. >> And she can have it dismissed for a $10 filing fee. >> Where are you Where are >> It's for the state. >> Where are you headed to? >> Right down the street. I have my kids and everybody waiting and our insurance didn't notify >> All right. All right. didn't have All right. Hear me out with this, all right? Hear me out. Uh Are you Are you Are you able to get a hold of him or no? Well, all right. It It's showing him as the registered owner right now. Just letting you know, all right? So, your valid driver's license has an issue on this vehicle. Okay? Normally, I'd be towing the vehicle. What did you say? You're headed right up? You all right? Right. Yeah. And it's supposed to show, you know, proof of insurance. Well, I just want to make sure that you understand, okay? All right? So, you're going to have to go to the DMV because you're not on the You're not the registered owner on the vehicle, okay? All right? So, this is going to become an issue over and over again, you're going to Okay. All right. All right. So, It It If you're around the corner, like I said, What? >> You can write her for the proof of insurance charge. >> If she's telling the truth, that should be dismissed with a warning. If she's not telling the truth, she has the citation. >> The situation was clouded as officers dug deeper into the investigation and discovered unsettling problems connected to the car. >> Is there a second owner? >> I didn't see it. >> No. >> All right. I'll be I'll be quick. All right. Give me a second. He's going to look and see if I didn't see you as a second person on there for the vehicle, but he's going to double-check. >> Okay. Cuz I can pull up my American Credit >> Right. We understand like what I'm trying to explain like you what I'm coming from where we're coming from regarding >> Yes. That's the first I've heard of it. That's why I said I'm definitely I can call the insurance now and have them do it in 5 minutes, but I don't know if I have money in the bank to do that. I would have to go to the ATM and all that, but I can walk to do that. But yeah, this is the first I've heard of it, so I'm going to take care of it right away. >> Do you live with him or no, the person that's registered the guy? >> That's kids' father. >> Kids' father. So, you don't live So, but he lets you use the vehicle, but >> Right, and for our kids, because >> Okay. Got you. >> five kids, so But, I'm going to switch the insurance to my cuz I had um non-drivers cuz I didn't own the vehicle. So, now he co-signed, so now I'm on the vehicle. So, that's why it's the registered tag is still for 2 years. So, I don't know if he knows that his insurance switched or I don't know if he switched and didn't didn't give me the information. I'm not sure what's going on because I'm shocked that I got pulled. So, I'm like, "Okay." I I I'm going to go home and look in the drawer. I Like I said, I literally live right down the road. >> Where How long You said you moved over here in Palm Bay? >> Yeah, since December. >> December 1st. And they just sent us an email. >> You know you have to update your address within 30 days, too. >> I live in New York, so I don't have my birth certificate, so I have to have my birth certificate. >> You live here and in New York? >> No, I transitioned. >> Okay. Okay. Yeah, you got to make sure you take care of that, okay? >> So, I have to go back because Orange County don't have a a a mail by order for your birth certificate. It's only walk-in, and that's in New York City. >> Okay. Yeah, you got to make sure you take care of that, okay? >> Yes, that's why the I the insurance I'm going to fix all this. >> There's a stop on it for FR and a stop on it for unpaid tolls on the registration. So, that's what it's related to, those two. There's two active numbers. So, unpaid tolls is one, a stop on the registration, and then there's the seized tag for the for the insurance. Um What's What's Is insurance company? >> Uh, it was like um um >> Security National? >> No. No. Uh, First Acceptance. >> First Acceptance, that's your that's your lien for your car. >> Acceptance. >> I've seen it before. >> First Acceptance is my insurance. I'm logging onto my AmeriCredit right now. Mine is AmeriCredit. That's the lien holder. >> Okay. Can you log into the insurance? >> Uh, no because it's underneath his social. Um, but I'm on the American Credit Acceptance where we're both on the loan. >> Is that him on FaceTime with you? >> No, that's my son because I was supposed to be picking him up. >> Oh. Yeah, so there's two stops on it. One for the financial responsibility, which would probably be the insurance, and then one for unpaid tolls. >> Unpaid tolls? >> Yeah, so they suspended the registration as well. So, there's a stop on the registration and then another stop for the for the DMV for the financial responsibility, is what they call it. >> Yeah, but today is the weekend. I, you know, I live right down the road like I explained to him. >> It doesn't matter. Like he's explained to you a couple times, if you can't show us that the vehicle is not If it's insured, if we don't have proof of insurance, we have to take it at face value. That's why you [clears throat] have to have proof of insurance upon stop. It's upon request, not upon let me call 17 people and figure it out. >> That's why you got to have it when you're asked for it. Either a digital copy or you're going to have to physical copy. >> All right, but if they made the error, we would have showed it tomorrow. But Good chance we got why we didn't receive letters saying it's paid this. >> What's your updated address? >> The officers took a moment to gather their thoughts, then began to weave a narrative for the woman, painting a picture of the unfolding events and the complexities of the situation. >> No. I didn't know that they impounded the vehicle or that Insurance is very important because if you were to not have insurance and strike another car. Well, there is no error that the only error was the fact that you guys didn't do what you're supposed to. By updating it. Well, that's not the state's problem. Well, are you still trying to Well, are you still trying to give us the proof of insurance? You could have been if you could. She just wants to argue too. She just wants to have an excuse for everything. Listen. Yeah, we should make her walk. As well as give her a citation. Yeah. He can go He can go pick it up. All right. How about the other address? Write her for the citation. She hasn't updated it. I already told her. I don't really know if she updated it. Yeah, you can just do it as uh for the insurance one for the driver not owner. Is the driver is owner and driver not owner? Excellent citation. Okay. >> [cough] [clears throat] >> Can you let me know the status of what is going on because um I got to figure out a ride. I have to figure out vehicle's getting towed. I have to figure out a ride. I have to figure out >> Yeah, there's there's You're not going to be able to drive the vehicle. There's no insurance on it. So, you're not going to There's no proof of it. And it becomes an issue if the accident occurs and it becomes an issue there's no insurance. >> but I can call up and get insurance. They give me the same day insurance. So, that's what I can call the insurance right now and they can insure my vehicle the same day. So, that's what I'm trying to figure out. What are you guys trying to get done? >> I mean, you I'm on I'm on I'm waiting. I mean, yeah. >> My phone is dead. So, I have to wait till my phone charges, but I can get insurance. 5 minutes with a representative and you'll have all that information, if that's the case. Once my phone charges. >> [cough] >> And she's [clears throat] like, "Well, I'm going to wait for my phone to charge. I can call the insurance company right now and have it insured in like 2 minutes." >> So, now she can have it insured. >> Yeah, she said, "I can call them and I got to find I want to know what's going on." >> Because it's not insured. >> Cuz nobody had you towing it, right? No proof of insurance and and >> I would I wouldn't I would just be like tow it and good luck. >> Yeah. >> You can show proof of insurance, which she doesn't have upon receipt. I sent you the statute. It's 316.646, subsection one, operating vehicle not properly insured, driver not owner. >> Okay. >> Cuz if you do that one, um she does have the option, I think it's like option four, three or four, she can uh bring it to the clerk and if she can show that she was actively insured at the time of stop, >> The $10 or whatever >> then it's just $10 to just dismiss it. >> Yep. >> And if [snorts] she's not, then they'll properly cite her and she'll be convicted on it. And then it'll hit her her record. So, her driving history. >> to get her current address. >> Yeah, cuz see how it how the story changes now to where she starts getting defensive and now it's yeah oh well I can get insurance on it. So which is it? Did you guys update the insurance or is it cancelled as of February? Because it looks like it was cancelled end of February, they sent him notice, and then they suspended him in May, which works out >> Yeah. >> better than what she's trying to explain. >> [cough] >> Stupid. I just I don't know why people do that why they can't just be honest. Why they can't just be honest. >> Yeah. >> You want me to call for it? >> She's going to be able to show insurance, but >> You want me to call for it? >> Yeah. >> As the discussion continued, the driver became increasingly frustrated and requested to speak with a supervisor, claiming the situation was becoming unfair. >> Is your phone charged? >> Yes. I don't I don't like badgering and all that department with what we're at what because we're not doing what we're supposed to do with all this stuff. Everybody is in a recession and there's good arrows and everything does happen. >> Yeah, yeah, I got you. I got I got you. >> him as a representative and off and then you know what you should have more respect for citizens and struggling people, you know, but all this >> I apologize. I You can say I've been trying to treat you with respect. >> Right, but you guys are wasting my time and all this is nonsense. >> Okay. Um What's the address you said you live at over here? Again. >> I'm trying to figure out why is all this important? Why are you writing down my information? This feels like it's agonizing and badgering. >> So so so no so what >> I need to know what's going on. >> Okay. >> You and him is over is over there speaking, twisting my words. >> Okay, I can tell you I can tell you right now you want to know what's going on. Okay. So, we were waiting I was telling him about the insurance that you said you were looking to get insurance. Right now, there's still no insurance on the vehicle. So, there's no proof of insurance the vehicle will get towed. Okay? So, and the other thing is that there's going to be a citation, but however, the citation what it's going to say on it is there's an op- >> No, can we call your supervisor? This is going a whole different route. I would like to speak with your supervisor. I would like to speak with your supervisor. >> Okay. >> No longer taking it back and forth like a child because I'm not a child. I pay taxes. I have a valid driver's >> 264 to 113. >> I don't have time. >> The female driver is requesting a supervisor. >> I don't do harassment. And then he drive by and say because my tint is dark, he wanted to see if if it was a registered vehicle. When he found out that it wasn't a registered vehicle, that would be racial profile. And now you're saying you're towing my vehicle. I'm not wanting to move. >> Tensions rose significantly as officers attempted to remove her from the vehicle, resulting in an abrupt and tragic incident caused by an unforeseen action. >> All right. Let's go ahead and step back here and just stand by the car until he's finished. >> For what? >> Cuz I'm telling you to. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. You're going to be placed under arrest if you don't exit the car. For resisting. Step out of the vehicle. It's being towed. Step out of the vehicle. He's coming. You need to step out of the vehicle. Ma'am, get out. She won't get out of the car. She has locked it. >> The supervisor is coming. You need to get out of the car. You are under arrest. Step out of the car. Step out of the car. >> Oh, now she's going to go to jail for resisting. >> Ma'am. Ma'am. Do not call 911 or you'll be arrested for that, too. Okay, you have one last opportunity. >> 274 Can you advise them she's calling 911? 264 on the This is 43, the white driver may be calling 911. Hey, fellas, come over here. We're going to bust this driver out. >> Get out of the car, you're under arrest. >> What did you say? >> She's on 911. Ma'am. Ma'am. This is your last opportunity to open the door. >> Yep, yep. Yep. Yep. Go ahead. Go ahead, stop her. >> How did this happen? >> Go ahead. >> You're going to get in trouble. >> 54 this time. She just drove off. >> Okay. >> What? My apologies. 274, I just caught up to it. San Ramon and Sanfer, she pulled into a driveway driveway. She advised she was under arrest when she pulled off. No, stop. STOP. STOP. STOP. GET OUT. GET OUT. >> GET OUT. >> GET OUT. YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. STOP. >> GET OFF OF ME. >> STOP. >> WHAT DOING? I AM THAT. WHY DO YOU HAVE YOUR >> YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. >> For what? >> and eluding. >> You got me You're an [ __ ] >> And reckless driving, resisting arrest. >> You are full of it. You are full of it. >> [screaming] >> You are >> After being arrested, the woman continued acting chaotically and aggressively, causing the situation to escalate and drawing further concern from the officers. >> Yeah. >> Guess what? YOU JUST LOST YOUR BADGE. YOU JUST LOST YOUR BADGE. YOU JUST LOST YOUR BADGE. >> GUESS WHAT? YOU JUST left You just lost your license. >> Get his hands OFF OF ME. GET HIS HANDS OFF OF ME. NOW. >> [screaming] >> GET HIS HANDS OFF OF ME. He just made me go diaper. Get your hands off of me. Get your hands off of >> [screaming] >> Get your hands off of me. No, you don't know what they just did. I NEED AN AMBULANCE. I NEED AN AMBULANCE. I'M BLEEDING. I can't breathe. I'M IN PAIN. I CAN'T NOW. NO. NO. STOP. I JUST TOLD YOU I'M PREGNANT. I CANNOT SIT DOWN. I JUST TOLD YOU THAT. YES. THEY ARE LYING. HE JUST ASSAULTED ME IN MY OWN HOUSE. >> YOU YOU SAID YOU'RE PREGNANT? >> YES. [screaming] >> WEEKS? HOW MANY MONTHS? >> ARE YOU KIDDING ME? >> HOW MANY WEEKS ARE YOU? >> Get for me. GET THE SUPERVISOR. >> THEY'RE ON THE WAY. >> NO. I CANNOT. I'M IN PAIN. I'M IN PAIN. LOOK WHAT YOU'RE DOING. STOP. I'M IN PAIN. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHAT? I JUST TOLD YOU I'M IN PAIN. I'M IN LABOR. DON'T YOU SEE THAT? >> Sit down. >> No, I cannot. I cannot. NO. I DON'T WANT YOU AROUND ME OR ON >> IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU WANT. SIT DOWN. >> THESE CUFFS ARE TOO TIGHT. I TOLD YOU I'M IN PREGNANT. NO, I CANNOT. I'M IN PAIN. I JUST TOLD YOU THAT. >> SIT DOWN. >> Are you recording? >> Sit down. >> Are you recording? >> Sit down in the car. >> Are Shut >> Down. Go to THE OTHER SIDE. >> RECORD. RECORD. GET YOUR HANDS off of me. >> Get in >> Get your hands off of me. >> Get in THE CAR. >> GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> If you don't get your hands off of me. >> You need to get in the car. >> If you don't get your hands off of me. >> If you care about your baby, you need to get in the car. >> I just told you I'm in pain. >> You're making this very hard. >> These cuffs are hurting. >> We will get an ambulance for you. >> NO, I CAN'T SIT DOWN. I'M IN PAIN. >> SIT DOWN. >> I CAN'T. I JUST TOLD YOU I'M IN PAIN. >> SIT DOWN. >> WHERE'S THE SUPERVISOR? WHERE'S the supervisor? >> SIT DOWN. >> WHERE IS MEDICS? >> Sit down. >> Where is medics? Where is medics? Where is medics? Where is medics? >> Stop. >> Where is the medics? >> Sit down. >> Where is the medics? So, why do you KEEP LETTING THEM HANDLE ME? Why do you keep letting them handle me? >> You're under arrest. Sit down. >> For what? >> You're under arrest. >> For what? >> You don't call the shots. Sit down. >> You just tried to kill me. >> No. >> I was trying to stop the traffic stop. No, you just tried to kill me. >> You're under arrest and you pulled away. >> That's fine. I need A MEDIC, SO WHY ARE YOU doing all this? >> SIT DOWN. >> I CANNOT. YOU JUST MADE ME GO IN LABOR. >> DOWN. >> NO, I cannot. >> Sit down. The medics will come to you. >> Stop. My hands are uncomfortable. What are you doing? >> Dude, just sit down. >> What are you doing? I cannot. It's too hot in here. I am >> Sit >> Dude, what are you doing? What are you doing? >> TRYING TO TURN AROUND. >> WHAT ARE YOU DOING? >> STOP. SIT DOWN. >> ARE TOO TIGHT. I'm in pain, and you keep touching me. >> in the car, please, so we can get her out of here? >> The officers detained the man to manage the situation more effectively as they learned crucial information about the woman involved. >> My face. Yeah, I don't like face, dude. >> What are you doing? >> I have problems, man. >> Hayden. >> Hey, GRAB HER. >> HAYDEN. COME ON, CAN WE GET HELP? SOMEONE CALL 911. >> FELT, get her. You got it. You guys need to back up. Back up over there to the car. >> I need a medic. >> Sit down in the car. >> I need a medic. >> Don't keep going inside. I got it. All right. >> WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I NEED A MEDIC. >> THERE YOU GO. >> BRO, I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU. I DON'T WANT to talk to you. I don't want >> She's pregnant with the What are you doing? >> She's under arrest. >> All right. I don't want to talk to you, bro. >> You cannot interfere with that. >> don't want to talk to you. I didn't interfere. I didn't get my job back in my driveway. >> Stop. >> Okay, but stop talking to me. >> a crime, dude. >> Okay. >> You had every opportunity to walk away. Stupid. A $119 ticket and you're filming. >> Where is the medic? Where is the medics? Where is the medics? I CANNOT BREATHE. THERE'S NO AC. >> You stand by the car. >> There's no AC. I cannot breathe. >> Yeah. 10-66 33 traffic 14-60 hours. >> Where is the medics? >> They don't teleport. They're on their way. >> Where is the medics? Where's the medics? >> They're coming. >> This officer just tried to hit me and you guys have me in the back of his car. I do not feel safe. I do not feel safe. >> Well, you're perfectly fine. >> No, I'm not cuz I can't breathe. I'm pregnant. He just slammed me on the door, busted out my window, all kind of stuff. I'm not in >> Okay. This is ridiculous. That's crazy. He is He better have his body camera on. I swear to God. He better have his body camera on. He's losing his job. I did nothing wrong. He tried to escalate it as soon as I called the officer. >> Can you explain the reason why I stopped the vehicle? >> Yes, can I get out? I cannot breathe. I am pregnant. My hands are too tight. My arms is like hurting my my stomach. Okay, I I was coming home on Malabar. The officer stopped me right here, Officer Fields, and he said he know he noticed that he said, "Ma'am, the reason why I stopped you because the registered owner has a suspended driver's license." I said, "Okay." [laughter] No, no, I'm the co-owner. >> Okay. >> So, I said, "Okay. I didn't know that." He said, "Do I have a driver's license?" I said, "Yes." Handed him my driver's license. Another officer, which is Officer Huggins, pulls up, and he starts sniffing through the window. I'm like, "Okay." So, they start whispering to each other to the side. So, then he comes over and said that, "Oh, we're going to have to tow the vehicle." I said, "Tow the vehicle for what? This is the first that I've noticed that, you know, the baby father don't have insurance on the vehicle. Let me call him." I couldn't get a hold of him cuz he's at work. Clearly, as you can see, all the kids are going to be home. So, I'm like, "Waiting in my car, waiting in my car." They keep playing games and trying to twist my words and saying stuff. I'm like, He comes back to my my window. The other Officer Fields decided, "Well, since you live down the street, I will let you go home." This officer said Officer Huggins said, "No, let me go back to THE CAR AND CHECK SOMETHING and see if I'm on the vehicle." So, he comes up making up all this stuff. >> Hey, hey. >> Even inside the transport, her behavior reportedly continued. >> increasingly irritating for officers and making the situation harder to manage. >> There is What was discovered? >> I was arrested and I was charged with what? >> I was handling that because if there was no insurance, I was calling like I told him my phone was charging. So, I was calling. He said, "Is your phone charged?" So, I was calling to get insurance if there wasn't insurance on the vehicle just in case. >> So, you don't have documentation of insurance when they had you stopped? >> No. No. >> So, you had nothing to show for insurance for the vehicle when they had you stopped? >> No. >> Okay. So, what was the reason of leaving from the stop and where you ended up being? >> Right. So, let me explain. So, then I asked the other officer Officer Field, um I said um uh He said, "Well, he said I I said, "Well, can you let me know what's going on, you know, the status?" He said, "Well, um you're not going to be able to take the vehicle. We're going to tow it." And so forth and so forth. >> For what reason? >> He wouldn't give me a reason. So, I I said, "Can I speak to the supervisor cuz now you guys are badgering me, twisting my words, and this is going left." So, he went and told Officer Huggins. I said, "Can I speak to the supervisor? Can you please call your supervisor cuz this is a back and forth thing. We're not getting anywhere and this is turning left." He goes back and tells him Officer Huggins comes to my window, "Step out." I said, "For what?" I roll up my window. Immediately, you know, calling somebody, my son, to come down here to witness what is going on. He said, "You got He said, "Now you're under arrest for resisting." I said, "Resisting what?" So, then he takes his flashlight out, banging on my window while I'm on the phone with 911. So, I said, "Is your SUPERVISOR COMING OR NOT?" BECAUSE WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Why are you trying to break out my window? So, he busts out my window. >> What here? >> No, over there at the stop. Like and and and had them on you like I'm going to turn them in lost and found, but you're actually using them. >> Yeah, I'm tripping. >> Yeah, so was your intent to to keep them or what was your intent? Cuz it sounds like it looks like to me you got them >> No, I wasn't I wasn't even not really necessarily to keep it anyway, though, but but I did I want to I plugged it to see if it was actually working and all that. That was why I had to like connect it to my phone and >> That doesn't make sense, though. It's not It's not >> I know it's not a good reason. I would have just given it to the lost and found people. >> Yeah. You got your driver's license on you? >> Yeah. >> Baker 3 to Baker 4, if you can meet me up uh a Baker 3 uh area. >> Baker 4 coffee. Hold on, man. >> Man, I'm sorry. I'm super sorry, man. >> The officers approached the man to address the situation as tension filled the air. >> Mhm. >> Uh it pinged right up or it didn't ping. Um and he had you know the earbud and thing on the side. >> Okay. >> He said he made a mistake. But he picked them up cuz but he was using You You see You do see the dilemma in this, right? >> Yeah, I see it. >> Right? Like it it'd been different if I I show showed up and you're like, "Oh yeah, I got them right here." and he he handed to me and >> Yeah. >> and you wouldn't have been using You see what I'm saying? When you're when you've paired up to you're talking on the phone with it. >> I can see that. Yeah, I can see that. >> You see what I'm saying? >> I understand. >> All right. So So to me using the earbuds, you paired it with your phone, right? To use your earbud. His is earbuds. That shows intent that you're you're taking them. You see what I'm saying? >> I understand but I was just trying to see who was working on the I saw the ear buds on the floor. It was kind of different if I take it from his bag or I should have given it to like the lost and found people. >> Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Now I think it'd have been totally different if you'd have been like, "Hey man, I've got these earbuds. You hadn't used them. I found them. Here you go." But you're actually >> It was It was It was It was with me right. I just spread it on the on the notepad alone but cuz I was in an emergency. This stuff is good. But at the same time, I saw them on the floor. I understand what you're trying to say, too. And I saw them on the floor. It's not like I took it from you or or I I unplugged it from the cable. It was like it was left on the floor. So, I was like, "Whose is this?" And I looked around, I didn't see nobody. Cuz it was around like I think it was around like 3:00 or 2:00, around that time. >> Yeah. >> And I I looked around, but I went to like do something, but I didn't see nobody down there. Then I came back, but I didn't see nobody. >> It's It's just the intent where you're using the earbuds, right? It's showing to me that that your intent is not to really just turn them in. >> So, well, I think I The reason why I just took it was because I just wanted to see if it was working fine and all that. It was I don't understand my I don't I totally understand what you're trying to say, sir. >> So. All right, man. Go ahead and uh turn around. You're going to be under arrest for theft, okay? After conducting an investigation into the circumstances, the officers began the next procedures. >> So, I'm going to the jail? >> Yes, sir. >> Oh my god. What did I do?
