County on December 25th 1st
2023 at approximately 1 p.m. officers
with the Columbus Division of police
attempted to stop a U-Haul vehicle that
was being used for thefts across the
city the U-Haul driver refused to stop
and the officers were forced to
disengaged due to the Department's
restrictive Pursuit policy unfortunately
for the suspects the Columbus Division
of police has a fleet of helicopters who
were able to keep tabs on the suspect
without their knowledge today's footage
picks up about 30 minutes into the
incident when the officers were able to
get into a position to spike the
vehicle's tires it continued to drive
