you're 66 mph in a posted 45 or 21 mph over the speed limit oh yeah no it's okay is this your car yeah this is my car is it registered to you uh it's under my mom's name okay so it's mom's car that you drive I am a condur of bumper stickers is that Mom's FTP sticker back there or is it yours it's athing it's a what it's a clothing I can I can show cuz you know what it stands for right well it it's a clothing brand like ah it's a community I don't know how to explain it Sor it's a community that hates I know it's also a community that doesn't like cops yeah I see this FTP sticker and Sam's like yes because Sam loves videoing confrontational people and me loves it it's his favorite thing there there're some of the videos that get the highest views so Sam was excited that there was a possibility of Confrontation so I get up there I overtly address the FTP sticker and then the kids's just super duper nice I mean just a nice kid we have a good conversation um so it was It was kind of anticlimactic we thought it was going to be this like FTP Warrior and you know there was going to be a you know a whole bunch of acab and and all these acronyms about hating cops and it just ended up being a nice kid with a weird clothing brand sticker yeah am I going to jail man am I going to go to jail do you have a warrant I mean no I'm I'm a pretty good person I think typically I don't take pretty good people to jail so no I just say cuz I I know I know it's 20 it is it's it's yeah have you ever been stopped before uh just for like small stuff okay okay is your driver's license suspended no do you have any warrants no then I'm not going to take you to jail okay now if you if you kick me in the shin I'm going to take you to jail so that's why I let you know that all right but I think you keep being cool I don't I don't foresee you I don't foresee you going to jail I'm not going to write you criminal ticket do you meet the threshold yes you do but I have some discretion and you seem like the perfect person to use that discretion on don't you have like that that Tik Tok thing mhm yeah that's you that's me that's cool I I I seen it a few times but I just didn't really know me man out here you're like a celebrity kind of I'm yeah I'm like a cop on the internet and a cop in real life the way you come off man the way you speak is it good or is it bad it's good cuz there's some there's some trolls on the internet that say it's bad so that's just people man I I I agree man those they're jerks but what I what what I really what really matters to me is when I contact people like those people are in you know they're living in their mom's basement somewhere in you know Arkansas complaining about how we do things here in you live here so how I contact you is what's instead of having me stand here in the middle of the road I going this side yeah you never ever pull to the left everever because I'm standing here in the middle of the road with cars going I'm sorry so I'm Deputy slope I work for the panel County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit no I need it cuz you you need a couple tickets so the first reason that I your attention my attention was drawn to you is you passed me at 65 mph in a 50 mph Zone and when you passed me you were like this blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah just like that Sam got it I understand that but when you're passing me at 15 mph over the speed limit and you're on your phone it makes me have to get out of my car in the rain right cuz when it's raining and my windshield wipers are on I try not to get out of my car and right now I'm out of my car because your poor driving required me to get wet hang TI for your ticket did you feel like you were the entire cause of that entire back up there because you refused to move out of that intersection even though there was like a gazillion ton fire Tru with its lights and Sirens ONN you just wouldn't move out of the way just not no I don't feel that that was a correct representation at all I was moving okay I felt I was moving and I was looking and trying to see if there's any way I can move more and I maybe I had a misunderstanding of how much room I had but I did feel I was getting over as much as I could okay cuz like did you hear that thing just like I saw that was that was 100% for you if I'm not on my way somewhere and I see a fire truck rolling with its lights and sirens on I always try to F to follow them to see if there's any observed viol ations because those fire trucks are big they're not easy to maneuver and you need to get out of their way it is required by Arizona law you pull to the right you pull out of the roadway and you let them get to wherever they're getting to whether it's a fire or a medical emergency or a car accident whatever they need to get there um so we're following them we're on in the middle of Circle Cross Ranch in Santan Valley and all of a sudden all the cars come to a stop and we're at an intersection and I can't figure out why and the the fire trucks honking its horn so we're following them and it ends up being that white car and she just didn't she couldn't figure out what to do so she was looked like she was trying to turn and she was sideways in the intersection and no one could go anywhere she had everything block cuz from what she said she was trying to get out of the way it didn't look like it um but it was a really good reason for me to stop her uh so I contacted her um gave her a little bit of Education as she said she was trying to get off the road I told her there was a better version of good um which would have been to pull totally off the roadway so we had that conversation I didn't write her a ticket for it um but I I thought it was a really good teaching moment and that's that's how we treated it if I thought I was the cause I would have just made my left turn to get out of the way I really thought I was or to the right which is what you're required to do by law there's a better there's a better version of good and next time you can do that but no tickets today okay can I shake your hand first as soon as I get your driver's license all right I'm Deputy slope I work for the world is too used to using plastic when the muscle memory of going into your wallet automatically makes you take your credit card out and hand it over um so on this stop guy gives me a Star Wars credit card it happens all the time way more frequently than you would imagine that people give me debit cards and credit cards um instead of their driver's license sorry I'm excited to talk to you man I not the right reason why I was going to say I would I stop you for almost 30 m hour of the speed limit not wearing your seat belt no I had my seat belt on I took it off just now oh why just for caution I really did for caution I feel like keeping it on is more cautious because then you're safe and you're snuggled in there all nice and safe I had my seat on I I promised all right I don't know you but I'll take your word for it I promise um so yeah but anyway I stopped you for almost 30 over so I got you at 72 when you were hammering on it there the super loud annoying Muffler out of this thing think is that annoying is it stock yeah that is not a stock right so if it's not stock then it's annoying he's going to get a ticket even though he's a fan that's those aren't mutually exclusive so like it's way easier to like find me a QT when I'm in there you know grabbing a monster um and get a picture and and talk to me there instead of driving this fast in Santan Valley in the rain which is dangerous um and getting pulled over and then getting a ticket that's however much this ticket is um just to to meet me so like speeding in Santan just to meet me probably not the best idea if you want to try to save some money you're still well enough over the speed limit that I'm going to give you a citation you're going to get it it's for Speed greater reable and prudent want to shake your head yeah don't worry about that man wrong reasons but hey man it's right it this is there are way better reasons to to get a picture with me than uh than this awesome did you notice that when you changed lanes right now you almost hit the front of my car oh no I did not you were this far from my car as you change lanes now you put your signal on yeah but I'm sorry that's uh yeah typically that should be a request not a statement in New York it's a statement hey I'm coming over but here in Arizona we typically like to see it as a as a request hey may I come over and uh you didn't you didn't treat it like that so I figured we should have a talk about that I've mentioned several times I'm from New York I'm from Long Island uh I drive through New York City when I go home New York City drivers are aggressive so turn signals in New York is a statement it is a statement of fact I am coming over if you don't slow down I'm going to hit you in Arizona it's more of a request like may I come over um this guy was driving in a New York Fashion he as Billy Joel was said have his New York State of Mind and uh it didn't work out well for him because he almost collided with me and then I pulled him over um but as I've said previously he is a old man so uh I gave him a warning for it um everything else was good driver's license registration Insurance all that stuff was good so with just that one little little mishap of making that turn he got away with our stop with a warning are you on social media am I on social media that's what they say I think I'm seen you there yeah that's it I'm out there doing exactly this stopping people for criminal speed on MCG I did a challenge out here a couple couple weeks ago getting people that were speeding exactly like this so I appreciate at least you that was your warning you know everyone's like hey man can you give me a warning social media is the warning man your first citation is criminal in nature for exceeding the speed limit by more than 20 miles an hour cuz you're 32 over any idea why am might have stopped you no I'm is it cuz my load well you you do have what appears to be a rummage sale in the back of your truck we're cleaning for a for property management okay well you're also at a criminal amount of speed of 73 mph 73 73 locked on yeah you were the only car there that's why you were catching up to that that big dump truck that was in front of you um so I locked you in at 73 while you were heading while we pass each other with your flashers on as a baseline you are not allowed to drive with your hazards on unless there is some sort of Hazard in this case the hazard was that she was driving a criminal amount of speed so it didn't like most of the time like you have a like she said I have a big load I'm going to drive you know with my hazards on to let everyone know but typically when you have something like that you're driving slower so you're letting every one know like hey I'm driving under the speed limit creating a hazard my flashers are on not I'm 23 mph over the speed limit blazing down the road uh with my overloaded truck so that's I I wasn't Computing what was going on because typically flashers equal slow she had flashers equal fast and I my brain wasn't Computing it when I was standing next to her which I don't know why you have your flashers on if you're my load but you're driving safe enough to you're driving it speeds that are 23 mph over the speed limit I'm sorry going to be kind no no my that's well I mean if you mean by kind like yank you out of your car and take you to jail then yes I'm going to be kind and not do that I promise you're not going to go to jail unless you have some sort of crazy warrant if you wanted for murder you're probably going to go yeah obviously you're not a habitual speeder um so what I did was I even though you meet the threshold for criminal speed we left it just regular civil so it's checked civil and that just means that it's not uh keeps it a little bit easier for you to take care of oh and it's not criminal so you don't have to go to court or any of that thank you I appreciate it slow down with your rumage sale in the back here and if you're going to drive with your flashers on like maybe the speed limit's a good idea there's the guy that you pulled that you passed there's a deputy hi Deputy so he's got he's taking someone to jail that's the only reason he didn't pull you over where are you I'm being pulled over why because I was right well when the police are done with you can you bring some popcorn for the G here popcorn okay I'll make sure to write that on his ticket ticket and and popcorn you're F okay we'll see you when you get here she's an ex-wife but she's always on top of everything feel like that's a good reason to be a current wife there were a bunch of comments on this particular video and on this portion of it where the guy said hey she's always on top of things and I said hey it's you know that means that you should be a current wife what I meant was if you have someone who's squared away in your life keep them around because they keep you on the straight and narrow I didn't mean it in any other way and if you interpreted it in a a not a G-rated way but in a R-rated way you need to go to church so you're doing a criminal amount of speed but we knocked it down to just the Civil so it's just a regular civil citation just a regular speeding ticket so nothing crazy um I wrote on here that you have to get popcorn so don't forget that
