from Zachary who needed the cops to step in and rescue him from his lover who had beaten him up in public >> 10 times in the face. He was in the car and she was beating the out of him with the phone as you can see. >> Where was she? Was she in the driver passenger? >> No, he was in the driver's seat and she kept opening the door attacking him. >> She ripped my shirt off. He saw everything. >> She threw me on the floor like I didn't want. I just don't want to >> I I Okay. Well, tonight going to jail for a domestic battery >> to Clarissa who beat up her husband, injured herself, and then tried to play the victim when the cops rolled up. >> So, cutting herself with the razor that she dropped on the ground right before you got here. I haven't reported. She put blood on my window. >> Okay. Did you you put your hands on him? Obviously. >> Yeah, but it's more of like a tantrum, not I was punching him. >> Do me a favor and turn around. Just put your hands behind your back. Okay. Here are several moments when husbands had no choice but to call the cops on their psycho wives. Starting with the last minute takedown of Lisa, a psycho wife who thought being a heavy drinker was all it took to attack her husband with a knife. >> So, my wife's a recovering alcoholic >> and she's relapsed 2 weeks ago. Don't listen to anything my mother-in-law has to say. I was on the phone call with dispatch and I was and I don't know if they record that but I was like she just grabbed a knife from the knife block and she was threatening me. >> All right, please do me a favor. Turn around. Put your hand back on the battery. >> What? >> On June the 28th, 2025 under a calm Illinois sky. Officers with the Villa Park Police Department received a distress call from a man reporting that his crazy wife Lisa, a hard drinker, was making life difficult for him. Getting to his house, the officer met him clearly frustrated. Upon interrogation, he gave a heartbreaking confession on how his wife, Lisa, and made their home a place of constant tension [music] and disaster. >> What's going on? >> So, my wife's a recovering alcoholic >> and she's relapsed 2 weeks, but don't listen to anything my mother-in-law has to say here. >> Yeah, she wasn't here, so holler away. >> Can you uh go wait somewhere where we're not standing right next to him? >> Yes, I can. I Nice to have a partner. Thank you. >> I'm sorry. >> I see that you have a partner. I didn't realize. I'm a little upset. >> I understand. Thank you. Fast forward to today. >> I'm at baseball for like 6 hours today. Come home, find a bottle of wine on the counter. She's yelling and screaming. I I tried grabbing the rest of her plastic cup and she jammed it into my face. I don't know if I'm bleeding, but it feels like I have a mark somewhere up here. Yeah, you got a little boy up on your upper lip. So, I said this. I'm calling the cops. >> Fair enough. >> She's on court supervision. She's not supposed to be drinking. >> She's in violation of her court supervision. >> Okay. And >> she's claiming that I've been hitting her, but there's nothing. Um, she had six public safety guys holding her down >> just last when they were Thursday. She was strapped to a bed. Although the man tried his best to be as detailed as possible, the officer's minds were clouded with curiosity and a dozen of unanswered questions. >> What kind of cup does she shove in your face? >> Plastic orange count. There's a plast plastic orange cup. >> Can I see it? >> Do you mind if I come in with you? >> Yeah, for sure. >> Stay downstairs. I'll be I'll be down in a minute. >> So, in the garbage can get home. I'm at baseball with my son. He's downstairs. He's playing video games, watching movies. Uh, grab this thing. I know. She has this and she jabs me in the face. >> Yeah. And obviously there's this whole mess. [music] I said that's it. I've been trying to avoid having to call the cops. She's on court supervision. >> I know. We agreed to get separated, but she's like her parents are so on a power trip because she's like freaking out about losing this house. And I was like, "Listen, I'll just we're going to dissolve the house. We're going to move on. I'm at baseball all day long. Come home." She's drinking and she was So then she pulled this actually. It was sitting here full of wine. And when I tried grabbing it, uh, and I was like standing here and we were like and she went so wine splash all over you too. >> Yes. And kind of this way. >> All right. So she So she tried to hit you with like a while you had >> this had the cup. She had the cup and I tried grabbing it and then she just said it and she spilled it all over me which is kind of dry but if you were to smell me I smell like wine and this way hit me in the lip and I was like get away. >> So I guess my question is were you guys fighting over the cup or did she intentionally shove the cup in your face? >> Intentionally shoved it in my face. Well, actually, I tried. All right. So, I don't know how the terminology. I tried to grab it >> and once she was like realizing that she couldn't drink it, >> she just said you and like tried to spill it on me, but I'm right here and it hit my face. >> And so, do you think that she tried to hit you with the cup or do you think she was trying to splash the alcohol or just give up and dump the cup? >> I think she tried to dump it into my face as hard as possible. >> All right. >> Intentionally, possibly hitting me in the face. Who knows? >> Okay. Um, but it did hit me in the face. I remember initially touching my face and having blood. I don't have blood now. I haven't looked in the mirror. Um, >> but this has been like 2 weeks and I'm like, she's been saying her parents and then coming back during the day. She's walking around. She's begging me for booze. I have some video of her standing in their garage yesterday. She's like, "So, what's going on with like uh" She's like, "Give me a beer. Give me a beer. But then she's going to her parents house and she's like, "Look at all these bruises on my arms." But literally, she got she had to be held down during this seizure. I mean, there has to be pictures or uh evidence. None of this is >> No. I mean, if it's bruised already, like she's already healing. >> She had to be strapped down. She had to be detained. She got strapped down ankles, arms. They she was wiggling around so much that and she goes to her parents house and she's like, "Oh, he's hitting me. He's hitting me." And I'm like, "That's from they they tried six times to put an IV in your arm because you were so up and you just had a seizure." >> And now her parents are like, "Oh, you must be kidding my daughter." And I'm like, "Are you kidding me? Do you know what?" And then my father-in-law didn't tell my mother-in-law why she was in the hospital until Yes. I I told her yesterday. I was like, "Listen, she was she had a grandma seizure on our back porch here >> because she tried with um detoxing here in the house >> solo." >> Okay. So, after she hit you in the cuff with the or the face with the cuff, >> I said this >> I've been putting this off for so long cuz I don't want my wife to go to jail. Actually, we've actually just talked about separating. Um but I don't need the mother of my child going to jail, but I was like, I can't deal with this anymore. >> All day long, she's pacing. She She's begging for me for drinks. It's ridiculous. And now her parents rather. >> I got you, man. Um, it's tough. I'm not going to lie. It's not going to get any easier. >> No, it's not. >> She's going to want the help and want to actually get better. >> The officers thought that they were beginning to understand how unstable Lisa was. But in truth, what they heard so far was only the tip of the iceberg. Soon, it would start becoming clear to them that they were going to need to take her away from her family if they wanted her husband and kids to be safe. The funny thing is that she actually called uh [laughter] she's been in rehab three times or four times. The last time she AMA just like this seizure >> they wanted her to be there for 4 days and a day and a half in she aimed herself out. >> Calling me 10,000 times. I'm I'm They said I'm good to go. They said I'm like there's no way you're good to go. Mhm. >> And then I had the hospital calling me saying, "Listen, she's AMA, which is against medical advice, and >> if you don't come and pick her up, we're going to make other arrangements for her to go to her home, which is >> and I might as well come pick her up other than her walking home or having to pay for a >> Vicky cab or something." So, I picked her up. Same [ __ ] starts all over again. >> Okay. >> Has she ever hit, slept, kicked you or anybody else? Oh, yes. >> Yes. Okay. >> Uh threatened to harm the police if they were called. Uh that's why she has police. She that's what that's why she has a court order against her right now because she um attacked a female officer. >> I know. Would she ever threaten to harm us if you come? >> Like verbally on Did she ever tell you, "You call the police, I'm going to do something to them?" >> Yes. >> Fantasize about harming or kill someone. >> Me? Yes. threatened to kill you? >> Yes. >> Threatened to kill yourself? >> Yes. >> Uh, threatened you with any weapons? >> Well, the last time I called the police, I was on the phone with dispatch and she grabbed the knife from the knife block. So, would that be a yes? I was on the phone call with dispatch and I was I don't know if they record that, but I was like, she just grabbed a knife from the knife block and she was threatening me. Well, apparently, not to my knowledge, she admitted to her mother that she had was getting overwhelmed that she was turning 40, wanted to be a normal person. We went to Thursday night in park over here. She minutes she ran into some old friends. Everyone was drinking and then we went over and had a cocktail or a mocktail, but she ordered a real one and that's when it all really started in my world. >> Okay. And then um it went downhill from there. She's been um when she had money left over in her account, she was I found some bottles of vodka. Now I'm finding wine. But going back to this list, uh so she you obviously had injuries on you. >> At that moment, the officers had already concluded that Lisa was heading straight to jail based on her husband's confession. But for the sake of justice, they approached her while she was seated in her car to get their side of the story, even though the evidence and testimonies against her were overwhelming. >> What's going on? Um, I got hit in the face. >> Where? >> Um, in the right [snorts] eye. And then, um, >> and well, it's probably It just happened about 30 minutes ago. >> By who? >> My husband on the front steps, which is about the first time he's hit me. So, I called my parents, that's my mother, to get picked up to be brought somewhere safe. >> Okay. So, how did all this start? I was at home today um alone. I did not do anything. Um >> and I got I get hit a lot. So >> you what? I'm sorry. >> I get hit a lot. >> Okay. But what happened today? What triggered obviously there had to be some kind of an argument. >> Um he was mad at me just because um I'm an alcoholic but I'm fine today. Well, I'm not fine. I don't feel great. But I didn't do anything today. I took a shower. I stayed home. I was resting. >> You say you're recovering. Is that what you just said? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> So, what again? What stemmed an argument between you two? If you're recovering, you're not doing anything wrong. That's not usually a start of an argument. >> No, it's not. No, it's definitely not start of an argument. Um, >> I don't actually really know what starts half the argument. Were you guys home the the whole day and then just out of nowhere something happened or were you gone? Was he gone? >> He was gone at a baseball game with my son. >> Okay. >> Yeah. And then he came home and um then got very angry with me and I said, "Why are you angry with me? I didn't do anything." >> Yeah, for sure. >> And did he explain it? >> Mm- >> Okay. >> Is anybody injured here? >> Um >> I'm trying to figure out why my paramedics are staging here. I don't other than getting hit as hard as I could in the right eye. Um I don't think so. >> Okay. >> I don't know why they got confident. >> Officer, your partner just took a photo of Ron's face. You might want to get one first. >> The what? >> A photo. >> Okay. Well, I don't know what he's doing. I'm talking to you. >> No. Can you take a photo of her face? >> If he wants to take photos of her face, you can do it. It's It's his fault. She's got >> Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> I'm just talking to her to keeping you guys understand while he figures out what happened here. >> Well, there's two sides of the story. She's reported usually is >> there. She's reported domestic abuse, >> right? >> And we're her parents. >> Um, and so we are close by and I just thank and and I just wanted to get picked up. I didn't want police called. I wasn't even planning on calling police on him. I just wanted to get to a safe space. >> Got it. Okay. He called, >> right? >> Okay. >> Cuz he wants to report how abuse or you know that's what's going on. It's a it's a who can tap who can t >> who can what? >> Who can win? >> Um I really >> Who can win the often don't understand what starts the arguments. I just know that they end violently. >> Okay. I just wanted to get to a safe space and then he decided to call. So, >> okay. >> Yeah. >> Wow. Well, >> yeah, it's an unfortunate situation that's not getting any better. And then, you know, she's a recovering alcoholic, so he can he blames everything on that. Oh, she fell down. She ran into a door. You know, all that stuff. And and some of that may be true, but it's not all true. So, it there's an advantage here to someone who once had one in my opinion. >> At this point, Lisa was beginning to see that there were very slim chances of her not going to jail. She needed to find a way to convince the officers that she was a victim, too. After all, her equally abusive mother had laid a pretty solid foundation in trying to convince the officers that she was innocent. >> This is my area. I'm a reporting officer, so I know you probably already told them what happened. I need you to tell me again. Okay. >> Yeah. Um, I was at home alone today and then my husband came home. We got upset. I do not know why, even though I know that sounds unusual and I got hit in the right eye as hard as possible. >> So, I called my parents just to get some mercy and then he said, "Good." >> Okay. Is there anything else that happened that you're leaving out? >> No. >> Okay. So, what about the wine? The bottle of wine and the cup full of wine? >> Well, I that's not true. Well, I mean, there's wine all over the counter and there's an empty bottle of wine. He's got a cut on his face where he said that you jabbed the cup into his face. >> I didn't jab a cup into his face. >> Okay. So, why would he have a cut on his upper lip? >> Um, my husband drinks a lot. >> Okay. How did he You said he hit you in the face. How did he hit you? >> Open palm to the right eye. >> Which hand? >> Um, I believe it was I guess it would have been his left hand and my right eye. >> So, what happened after that? >> Um, I called my parents immediately and he just said, "I want to get out of here to be in a safe space and that's when they came." >> Okay. Did he hit you anywhere else? >> Not today. >> Lisa was reckless and the very definition of a psycho wife, thinking that [music] she could play the victim card and somehow get her husband behind bars. Perhaps she'd have succeeded if the officers hadn't already noticed several loopholes in her story. >> All right, please do me a favor. Turn around back. >> What? Hold on. Hold on. She wants to tell you she can really >> he's not being arrested. That's what he wanted. No doubt. That's what he wanted. Can I ask one of those female custo? >> Can I ask you a question? >> Sure. We're going to go in the car first. Okay. >> Could I Could I ask? >> No, you cannot ask me a question. All right. Have a seat for me, please. >> Yes. >> Thank you. >> How did this happen? >> So, right now Based on the circumstances, you're leaving out parts of the story that are very obviously true to me that where there's wine involved and that you had been drinking. He's got obvious signs of injury on him and you've got signs of injury that appear to be healing already, but it doesn't appear that this happened to me today. He told me that you were in the hospital before and had to be strapped down. Oh, that's what the bruising has caused from all the IVs in your arm. So, >> this is the third time that I've been in trouble for getting hit. >> Okay. And that's that's also taken into account like the all the previous issues. Okay. However, given the circumstances, >> somebody has to go to jail there. There's obvious signs of injury. I don't have a choice. I'm mandated by the state of Illinois to make an arrest. I don't have a choice in this. This is something the state says we have to do. >> So, what's going to happen from here? Um, you're going to go back to the station. You're going to be processed and you're going to be transported to the New Dupage County Jail. All right? You'll see a pre-trial judge in the morning. Um, if there's any previous >> Don't put me in jail or not. >> Unfortunately, I >> Can you put my handcuffs at least in front? I guess we're going back to the station right now. Okay. It's like three blocks away. And then I'm going to take the handcuffs off you when we get there. All right. Um, but for now, they have to stay in the back wall in the car. It's just policy. Okay. All right. So, give me a few minutes. All right. We'll be on the way. >> In the end, she was charged [music] with domestic battery. Lisa was undoubtedly abusive, but even she didn't [music] go as far as this next evil wife who tried to send her husband to the great beyond by choking him till he almost passed on. Did you put your hands on him at any point in time tonight? >> Yeah. >> The most likely outcome is you're going to end up coming with us >> tonight? >> Yes. >> Why? >> Because you put your hands on him and you were choking him. Put your hands on your back, please. On September the 28th, 2025, officers arrived at the home of a married couple following a call from the husband, Ryan, who reported that he had escaped by the skin of his teeth as his wife nearly ended his life while their baby was asleep. Based on Ryan's fearful tone over the phone and the video evidence he provided, the officers knew that they needed to approach his wife with maximum caution. >> Hi. Sorry, I know he talked to you. >> Yeah. >> Um, I'm going to talk to you as well. Okay. >> Okay. just kind of want to give me a quick rundown of what exactly took place tonight and why we are here. >> Yeah. Trying to I was trying to he was trying to see the kids after I was looking for his phone cuz he's been sending like text messages about my to his family. Um and then we just got into a scuffle at the door. Um he was trying to leave with them and I didn't want him to leave them. >> So he was trying to take the kids after You're refused to show you his phone. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And I woke up just I had a bunch of work. So I woke up. I was like no work. And he's like, "You're waking everyone up." I'm like, "I'm not waking everyone up." And then he's like, "I'm taking the kids." So >> Okay. Did you put your hands on him at any point in time tonight? >> Yeah. >> And Where where did you put your hands on him? >> I don't know. Like we were just scuffling at the door. >> Has this been an ongoing issue between you guys? >> Yep. >> And I have I have braces all over me so I can show you. Okay. >> When did you get those? >> A couple days ago. on your right arm. >> Yep. On my shoulder. >> Bumps on my head. >> And how did >> that's from like physical altercation with him. >> Do you have any videos of >> No, I don't take videos. >> Despite her sympathetic story, the officers were ready to take any risk. >> Okay. Um, >> so where we kind of stand right now is >> usually at some point in time somebody like during domestics, right? I mean like things get things physical, things get violent, right? Right. >> Um, >> from our perspective as of right now, it it again this is just from my perspective. This isn't sense. Don't miss anything. It appears like you being the aggressor um just because of the videos, right? I know you have the bruises and all that, but >> kind of it kind of puts us >> Yeah. I mean, you don't have to put >> I know, but he's literally like I know you're you're probably the most dramatic Italian man ever. >> Okay, go ahead. >> Um, so the most likely outcome is you're going to end up coming with us >> tonight. >> Yes. >> Why? >> Because you put your hands on him and you were choking him. What would >> And we have and he has multiple videos of it to to support all these claims that he's making. Now you have the bruises, right? >> Yeah. >> But I mean that's in situations like this when things like this happen. I know you guys don't want to get us involved, but like >> the best thing to do is to get us involved so that now we're not we could take stories from both sides, right? >> I know. But I like this isn't like this is insanity. I just want it to be on record so when we get divorced >> Well, it it will be on record that this all will be on record cuz we're going to do a report of this. But if this is the only time you guys called, there's only going to be just the one [music] incident. >> Okay. Is there any way that this I don't have to be? >> Not tonight. No. >> Okay. >> My god. >> So, out of the dignity for you, I know your kids are around. >> Yeah. >> We're going to put your shoes on. We're not going to put your cuffs on until we get outside. Okay. >> I can't even believe that this is happening. This is insanity. I'm literally >> Don't let her You want your phone? >> Do you want your phone? >> Don't let her go upstairs. >> Get my shoes. >> We can go get >> I have your phone. >> What kind of shoes are they? >> I don't They're my It doesn't I don't know. They're my closet. Like, bro, I What's his name? >> What's his name? >> I just worked on his ID number. What's your husband's name? >> Ryan. He's a You could just call him that. [snorts] >> She has shoes, Chad. >> She's got shoes. >> All right, let's go step outside. I have your phone and all this. Let's not make it a big deal. A big scene in front of your kids. Okay. >> Is my brother-in-law gone? >> Uh, I'm not too sure. >> He's not outside. He's upstairs. >> No, he's he owns like 20 guns. He's not armed. There are any guns here. >> I mean, you don't know that. >> I do know that. >> So, we're just going to walk to the cross straight ahead. Okay. Like I said, we're not going to do anything until Let's go. We'll just walk to the cross over here. I have a single case car, so it's going to be on the other side. So, let's walk around to the other side. Once we get there, right here, just put your hands on your back, please. Not too tight, right? What the hell? >> It's just a seat belt. >> What is back? Insane. >> In the end, she was charged with domestic battery. Speaking of psycho wives, let's meet Clarissa, a psycho wife who threw all tantrums at her husband, vandalized his car, and injured herself to make the cops see her like the victim. >> She came outside, threw my keys in the bushes, broke my car mirror, broke the other nail. Okay. >> Did you you put your hands on him? Obviously. >> Yeah, but it's more of like a tantrum, not I was punching him. On March the 22nd, 2023, late at night on Pontiac Avenue in Cranston, Rhode Island, officers on patrol noticed a car parked in a public lot with a couple inside arguing loudly enough to draw attention from everybody nearby. Without hesitation, the officers approached them, unaware that they're about to witness a classic case of wifing gone wrong. >> How we doing, guys? What's going on tonight? Having a bad night? Tell me what's going on. Clearly something's going on. What's your name? >> All right. You guys obviously boyfriend, girlfriend. >> Okay. So, what's going on? You guys out here just talking talking loudly or >> 131. >> What is it? Okay. You guys having some relationship issues or >> All right. Do Do both of you guys live here or No, both you guys have an apartment here. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Do me a favor, ma'am. Stand right by the corner over here just so I can talk to this gentleman, your boyfriend. >> I I understand you're upset. I just want to figure out what's going on. You mind just uh Do you mind getting out of the car? Actually, >> yeah. Just so I can speak with you. The officers noticed that the wife, later identified as Clarissa, was struggling to speak and clearly overwhelmed with fear. The officers considered that this could mean that she had been assaulted by her husband. But they were also smart enough to realize that she might be putting up an Oscar-winning performance to try and fool them. Not willing to leave any stone unturned, they launched a tough no holds barred interrogation of her husband. >> Okay. What's going on? She's getting So, this is the second time. Yep. We already had a previous court case for this and I dropped charges where she assaulted me. This time she tried to assault me again. She did swing at me, but not enough for me to warrant like calling the police, but she came outside, threw my keys in the bushes, broke my car mirror, broke the other mirror. >> Okay. All right. >> And she's cutting herself with the razor that she dropped on the ground right before you got here. And I have it reported. She put blood on my window. >> Okay. >> And does she have the razor on her right now? No, it's on the It's on the ground. >> All right. What kind of razor is it? >> A shaving razor. >> Just a shaving razor. All right. Does she uh she have blood on her right now? >> It should be on her left wrist. >> Okay. Does she bleeding right now or? >> Yes. >> All right. And she is soidal and that's why I have such a difficulty calling you guys when this happens because >> what what was the argument at all? >> Because she's trying to go to New York and see her cousin. >> Okay. >> And I told her I don't want to go. >> Okay. Okay. >> And then she forced herself to get my credit card and bought herself tickets. >> Okay. >> And this whole relationship is going to be over. Like I've already told her I wanted a divorce and that triggered more. So she started to attack me and then I went outside. >> All right. When you say uh rent's going to attack you, what exactly? >> My apartment's probably still got stuff on the ground. She was throwing furniture at me and just throwing her fists at me. >> Okay. And she does she have a strike? Does she ever land any of those? Uh, >> she hit me, but it's probably not showing red anymore. It was on my arm. >> Oh, it was on your arm. >> Last time it was on my face. >> Well, she do punching you or >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> All right. And she's been arrested before, you said? >> No, but I dropped charges, but I can't do this relationship. >> What's her first name? >> Clarissa. >> Clarissa. >> Yes. >> All right. Just hang tight with this officer. Okay. >> At the moment, the officers chose not to buy everything Clarissa's husband was selling. They knew he could have polished up his story to make himself look like a saint. Still stuck in that gray area, they turned back to Clarissa, ready to hear her side of the story. >> Clarissa, what's going on tonight? >> I don't want to go to jail. >> You don't want to fix it, but he doesn't want to talk to me. >> Okay. >> That's why I was out here cuz he was locking her himself here. >> All right. So, I understand you're upset, but just just speak up a little bit. All right. I have cars driving by and stuff like that. So, what do you what were you guys arguing about tonight? >> Just we have we just have issues in our marriage that we haven't fixed yet because we haven't talked about it yet. >> Okay. All right. And um was it just verbal tonight or did it get physical at all? >> Tonight? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Tonight? >> Tonight? Did it get physical at all? >> Yeah. >> Okay. But it's more of like I'm not hitting on him. It's more of like I'm having a tantrums. If I don't know that that might sound funny, but I don't know. I don't want to go to jail. Please. I just want to >> Why Why would you go to jail? >> No, cuz anything with police end up ends up bad. >> All right. So, did So, did it get physical at all? You What you say? You you hit him in his body or >> Yeah, that I had like um um what you call this? There was physical hit but it's not like intentional because I'm having a tantrums like I said. >> Okay. Did you you put your hands on him? Obviously. >> Yeah, but it's more of like a tantrum, not I was punching him. I don't know if that makes sense. >> All right. Well, explain to me. You You put your hands on him, right? >> Like I'm doing like the tantrums and then he's like trying to control me. So it's like I it landed on him. >> All right. Did you Did you break anything on his car? Did you break a mirror on his vehicle? >> I guess. Yeah. >> All right. What's your first name? Cursa. >> Yeah. >> All right. You have any weapons on you? >> All right. He told me that what you have a razor earlier in the night. No, it's more it's the glass. >> It It was the glass. Did you try uh slicing your wrist tonight or anything like that? >> Let me see your wrist. You're not in trouble if you if you're self cutting. Okay. Let me see your wrist. All right. So, that's it right there. And how'd you do that? With a razor or was it a piece of glass? >> All right. Are you feeling silent or anything or you just got upset and you wanted to cut yourself? >> I'm stupid. >> At that point, the officers had confirmed that Clarissa was clearly the aggressor. But there was a problem. They had earlier assured her that all they wanted was the truth, nothing more. Now, they were caught in a bind, move forward with an arrest, or stand by their word and not use her statements against her. >> All right, do me a favor. I want to search you for weapons. Okay, now that you're telling me obviously you cut yourself, so >> All right, just stand up though cuz you're wearing a jacket. I have to make sure. So, get inside the car or I have to charge you for something else, another charge. Okay? So, get your foot in the car. >> Please, please. There you go. Thank you. >> At this point, Clarissa was consumed by regret. She found herself wishing she could turn back the clock, but it was already too late to talk to my >> Okay. Well, >> I didn't mean to like put things on the worst situation. >> All right. Well, >> going to be bailed today. >> I have no idea. Have you I I don't even I didn't even got a chance to look at your record or nothing like that. You on probation, parole, anything like that. >> Well, yeah, you're going to jail. Okay. >> I like I said, I have no idea. >> Yes. >> So, he can't It's a domestic. So, he can't that there's going to be a uh no contact order probably put in effect. >> But am I staying in jail tonight? >> I have I have no idea. Can you do me a favor and sit back? >> Okay. >> This is the reason for me. I'm not a bad person or anything. We're just having a bad day. >> Okay. Well, what I'm trying to explain to you, you're asking me questions and I have no idea. I don't know if you're on probation. I don't know if you're on parole. So, I can't really answer these questions until I look at your file and paperwork. Okay. >> Did you call the police on me? >> Someone did. I don't know who, but >> sir, I'm not a bad person. >> No one said you were. >> Like you said, we were just having a rough night and we're having an argument. I just want to talk again. In the end, she was charged with domestic assault, domestic vandalism, as well as resisting arrest. The next case takes us to Florida, where 53-year-old Rochelle, a heavy drinker struggling with bipolar disorder, attacked her longtime husband, leaving him bruised and destroying his property, just as she had been doing for the past 13 years. >> Oh, domestic battery. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Oh, what did I do? >> Did she hit you anywhere else? Just in the head. No, the head. She destroyed that. She destroyed my phone. the TV computer. She just came back from you're nowhere and then she just came and attack and attacked you. It's kind of a normal thing. On February the 9th, 2023, in the call of the evening in Florida, officers responded to a call from the owner of a furnished apartment reporting a domestic disturbance involving a couple later identified as Rochelle and Wagner. Arriving on the scene, what followed was a tense round of interrogations of the couple separately. Piece by piece, the officers were able to pinpoint the root of the problem. >> What did I do? >> You didn't give me your name. You gave me somebody else's name. >> I Domestic Battery. >> Yes, ma'am. >> What did I do to him? >> Oh, domestic battery. >> Yes, ma'am. >> What did I do to domestic battery? >> Lean back. >> Domestic. >> Lean back. There you go. >> Domestic battery. >> Yes, ma'am. Rochelle had been suffering from bipolar disorder and was also a hard drinker. She had been physically assaulting her husband, leaving him with bruises and knocks on his head. After arresting Rochelle, the officers came to a second thought. Rochelle obviously had been intolerable and toxic. But there could be a chance that her husband might have been the very cause of Rochelle's reaction as well as her medical condition. Probably he had been feeding her excessive amounts of alcohol and tormenting her for years, thereby leading her to the state of bipolar disorder that she was in. and then chose to act like a saint. >> Here's your ID, sir. Um, I did I did take a picture of the computer and the the TV. Her phone is destroyed as well. >> Did all right. So, the laptop. Did that happen today? >> Today? Today, when all this occurred? >> I don't know. I mean, I came in here was just like I said, what did you do on the computer? I mean, it was it went like it was it was a little crack like in the way you closed it and like when you opened it and then she Yeah, something happened. I'm going just take a picture of your side of your head. >> It hurts, dude. >> Like I said, we can take a picture. >> I'm used to this. >> Do you see anything on there? >> Yeah, I see a mark. Okay. >> But it's not bleeding, but it does look like it's swelling. >> Yeah, it does. >> Did she hit you anywhere else? Just in the head? >> No, the head. >> All right. Um, so you said her phone's broken, but that's her property. Okay. Like it's on my she TV. I can't open when I open it. >> And did this happen today or several days ago on there? >> Go ahead. I can't >> J I can make a line on here that she hit it with her ring. All right, at least it still works on that. But it for some reason it still works on on here. I don't know why. So, she just came back from doing and then she just came in and attacked you. It's kind of a normal thing. Yeah. I'm just trying to get the all the information that I can. We had a nice lunch at uh the green turtle and we walked there. She got left the green turtle. I walked here at 3:00 p.m. She left. She came back sometime around 87. I left both doors open so she could get open. Oh, there's a rear door. Yeah. Oh, I left it open. Did she say anything to you while she was walking towards you or Oh, it's always like you're cheating. You're cheating. You're cheating. You're cheating. You're different. Never cheating. It's the same thing. All I mean, that's all information. Oh, if I could just give you a phone number. Sure. You both got 210 210. >> All right. Thank you. I mean, that's it. >> Well, she is going to get charged with domestic battery. Obviously, you guys been married, so we have to >> in the state of Florida. We have to do something about it. We can't just um leave you guys together cuz it's >> Yeah. Um, I believe she'll have first appearance in the morning tomorrow morning and then I don't know whether they contact you or whether they give her a bomb. >> Even though the officers were inclined to believe Wagner, they still needed solid evidence to back up his claims. And Wagner knew it. He had to come up with proof before any doubt started creeping back into the officer's minds. >> Um, you said, right? >> Yeah, I saw I took a picture. Um, do you know where her wallet is? her phone as well. You saw like the first thing I saw was when I walked in. >> I can take a picture of that side too. >> I I walked in and I'm like, what's wrong? Like why is it like that and I knew something was wrong there and then I open it and it sort of creeps. >> All right. So look, this is a >> And then look, now I'm taking Yeah. I mean, she >> You want to have a >> And here's here's a foot right here. She smashed it. >> So this is a statement form. >> Let's find her phone first. I want you to see what she did. >> All I need is um her ID if she has it on her. I don't You have to ask. >> Oh, here. Here's your phone. >> It's destroyed, too. >> The new one's coming tomorrow. So, >> all right. You got all all that. >> It's all here, too, as well. But I'll note it on my reporting. >> So this is just a statement form. Up here is your information and from here on down it's basically what happened today. >> You see the right 7:26. >> So my Zoom call was at 400 p.m. right now. I'm going to leave the pen here and then I'm going to go speak with my partner. I'll come back and see if you're done. Okay. >> Getting to the station. Ideally, anyone would suggest Rochelle put herself together and be in her best behavior. Probably seeing if there could be a chance of reducing her charges or avoiding adding more. But unfortunately, the reverse was the case. All right, man. Come on this way. We're going to go to that door that's right there. Okay. >> Okay. Well, 612 number. That's right there. Offense is going to be 1159 11:59 and your coordinate is going to be on the 22nd. I'll add the captain. Hold on. >> All right. >> What is that made of? >> I'm sorry. >> What is that made out of? >> What? >> It's just a mesh. >> I just asked you a question. be so rude. I'm not I'm a doctor. >> Yes. >> 2989 overseas highway at Breezy Pines is going to be locked alpha 15 in reference to a 70-year-old male and breathing has fallen from a standing position bleeding from the arm. Breezy Pines alpha 15 no further. >> Does that make you feel comfortable putting your um pockets in there? It's not pockets. >> It looks like a pocket. >> I don't have my hands in pockets. >> It looks like a pocket. >> Okay. >> Well, then I have a reckless driver that was northbound. where I have my hands in the black model. The vehicle was initially tailgating party eventually passed him and almost caused a head-on crash for the description of the SUV. Just the tailgating 7 minutes. >> Okay. High blood pressure diabetes. where you are. That is what are your mental issues? Depression, anxiety, what kind of self is anything you take medication for prescribed cause for mental health issues. Still on husbands calling cops for their psycho wives. You saw a girl texting me, went crazy, started punching the [ __ ] out of me, sped up in the car. He just hates that I talked to another girl. His >> toes all up. You lost your whole nail, man. >> Oh, where is he? >> He's going to get checked out by the ambulance cuz he's missing a a whole toenail. >> On June the 9th, 2023, officers responded to multiple 911 calls, reporting that two lovers had turned the street into a Roman gladatorial arena. When they arrived, they approached the man, later identified as Zachary, who looked completely worn down and belittled by his partner. So, what happened? We were inside that bar down over there, but I said, "You can't drive. We got to call a cab, all this stuff." She said, "I'm driving." She saw like a girl texting me, went crazy. She started punching the [ __ ] out of me. She never drove, man. >> So, she pulled over here. >> Yeah. Punched me 10 times in the face. >> How long you want to press charges? >> I don't know yet, man. That's a tough situation. >> Is that your girl or? >> Yeah. >> How long you guys been together? >> 6 months. 5 months. situation and she just hates that I talk to another girl. >> So, you've been dating 6 months. You guys live together? >> Yes. Honestly, man, it was old time. She started talking. I have a child with somebody. She started talking like baby mom like father's day coming up. >> While the officers were still trying to piece together Zachary's confession, a witness stepped forward, offering a firstirhand account of the cruelty Zachary had endured from his partner over the past 3 hours. >> He saw the whole down there for me. >> Yeah, that's my witness. He saw that Kevin talk to him in a second. >> I talk to him. >> What happened? >> Yeah, let's go. He I didn't see him touch her at all. >> Okay. >> He was just screaming for help. >> For the officers, this wasn't just another witness statement. It was the most relevant piece of information they had gathered so far and it would serve as a reference for every further action that they would take moving forward. >> Ambulance or anything? >> Toes all. You lost your whole nail, man. >> Um, ambulance? No. >> No. I don't understand. >> All right. You guys live together currently or no? >> You want to press charges? >> No. >> You got abused pretty bad. So, >> you guys is this end of your relationship? You think? So, they turned to Zachary's partner for her side of the story. >> Hello. >> Talk to us. Okay. >> Hey, what's going It's okay. You have to tell me what happened. >> You're full of blood and he has scratches. So, you have to tell us what happened, what you did, what happened in the car so that we could have two sides of the story. >> Right now, we just have our evidence. We have what you're seeing. >> You have blood on your shirt, your leg, everything else. He's scratches and blood all over his face. You're not telling us anything about what you did or didn't do. Striking hands. >> Look, your leg is full of blood. Blood all over your legs. >> So, how did you get blood on you? >> At this point, she thought she had done a great job tossing the officers around with her excuses. In a moment, she would come to the painful realization that she could actually do nothing to change her new reality. >> Take her to the station. I'll find her shoes. We I just need to get her ID. I'll go with >> Can you tell me? >> Yes. Well, tonight going to jail from a domestic battery. >> He doesn't want to press He doesn't want to press charges, though. However, by state statute, if there's injuries and I can determine a primary aggressor, you have to take the [music] ride to jail. So, um, that's where it's going to be at.
