one of our um anti-smuggling unit guys uh called for backup and said that he's got I just saw him bodies called for border patrol and called for an extra unit so uh I was running traffic down in Arizona City so I'm kind of the closest guy as of right now he's fine he said that he has no idea how many bodies uh that are there he said there's people in the trunk and uh soon as people start coming out of the car he is uh he's immediately outnumbered Jesus H in this video we meet detective Wilson who is a detective with the anti-smuggling unit with panal County um when Sam was working for panal he did a bunch of videos with our anti-smuggling unit because human smuggling is such a big deal for panau County Sheriff's Office uh the southern border of panau county is about 71 miles from the border of Mexico with the United States so we end up dealing with a lot of human smuggling issues um this was kind of a crossover where detective Wilson was out doing his anti-smuggling unit thing um he asked for help I happen to be in the area I was only a couple minutes away dress in camo here's our human smuggling problem sit down you have the keys out of that thing yeah I'm getting them don't want someone slide slide into the front take off been down that road one of the the people that were found in this vehicle to being transported illegally was a a female and she was super nice super happy big smile um she was like you know kind of nodded and grinned at us quite a bit and when we left she was waving goodbye so I think she whether she liked Sam or she wanted to be on the video or um just like the fact that I was a full-size human um it was it was pretty fun to have a really positive interaction even with someone who was technically breaking the law by being here they probably just crossed the border um they we wear camo to uh avoid detection from border patrol and other law enforcement in the area so there we are you got big crack directly in front of you as you drive second reason your pickup truck is lifted third reason is as you were driving you were texting on your phone I was I actually have video of you texting or calling or manipulating phone just say your phone I wanted to uh press one and that's what I was doing I was on the C you were manipulating your wireless communication device while you were driving I mean I guess I was on the phone with Chase bro to be honest it is literally anything if you just grab your phone while you're driving and take it out of your pocket and put it in your cup holder simply doing that technically letter of the law is a violation of Arizona law the threshold is incredibly low so while this guy is there holding his phone and doing whatever it was that he was doing he way exceeded that incredibly low threshold for that violation to be um considered a violation so that's why so not only is there one reason but there's three reasons why I stopped it in the state of Arizona if the the level of your truck is lifted from how it comes to the factory you're required to have mud flaps it's I'm giving you a warning on it I don't want to talk about it I I'm just just an excuse for everything all I told was to raise that little screw raise it raise it and and lift our synonymous it's the same thing the center of gravity of your truck is higher than it was when it came from the factory because you leveled it what you did was you leveled your truck yeah but it wasn't it wasn't a it's I didn't say it was a kit I said the center of gravity was raised from how it comes from the factory shut up higher than cars do on the factory right cuz because I used to own one of these so I know this isn't how it comes from the factory so I'm giving you a warning for that I'm not a sight try not to argue okay because I'm explaining why I'm being nice so relax try not to argue the J across your windshield is a violation of Arizona laws directly in your field of view obscuring your vision through your windshield it is a citable offense in the state of Arizona I'm not writing you a citation for that the only thing I'm citing you for is for operating your vehicle while using a wireless Port portable communication device I really try not to give attitude tickets I really really try not to and this guy was was walking the line because of how argumentative he was and how many excuses he had I almost went back to my car and wrote all of the tickets for all of the violations that I had um when someone argues with you about a warning that you're giving them you almost want to write them a ticket and then had give them the opportunity to go in front of a judge and have the judge explain the same thing that you did because I guarantee if this guy would have went to court which he didn't but if this guy would have went to court he would have argued with the judge the same way he argued with me and judges don't like to be argued with so because that causes wrecks just because the people being distracted behind the wheel I had it on speaker like that the fact of matter is you were holding it in your hand while you were driving down the road so the only thing you want to explain the only thing that told me I was I understand that but you are dialing meaning that you were using your right it doesn't matter what you were doing doesn't matter if you were changing your playlist if you were dialing a phone number if you were using an option if you were entering navigation if you were Snapchatting if you whatever you were on it doesn't matter you hold your phone and it distracts you while you're driving it's a violation of arizal law that's it it is the the law is very very clear on that as I stand here are there any questions I can answer please drive safely thank you hey there see your driver's license please I'm trying to get a temporary plate for this car cuz I just bought it for my neighbor so I don't have the registration on it I know so why are we driving it because I'm going to entitlement that's why I was driving so you know that like you know you can get a temporary registration plate on it right like it's but I can't because I don't have a printer I don't you stop moving so there's a lot of times like I stop someone you know they they've for something totally innocuous and they give you your stuff driver's license registration current proof Insurance there's not really a whole lot of back and forth because yeah they probably didn't know they did anything wrong stark contrast to that is this lady who knows that she is doing all of the things wrong so she just can't stop her mouth from moving so I'm depy slope I work for the panel County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit reason I stopped you is your your plates are expired almost two years so it's told me that too and I I was like so we just on your YouTube channel that's yeah I'm I'm on there you know what I do on YouTube I enforce Arizona Motor Vehicle law so you have no registration no insurance I okay I'm on disability I just got my money G okay do you still live in the People's Republic of Tucson no I live in I live okay have you changed your address with MBD not yet because oh the reason I haven't is because my address is registered with the United States Postal Service my landlord didn't have mailboxes for us so I have to get all that they were like okay you need $10 to get a to get a PO box and I can use Florence's um their post office as my address so that's what I was doing today okay what's your what's I feel like you're driving the wrong direction to do that in Florence I had to go to Walmart but okay so there we go insurance right this second oh outstanding I I like it when I'm a catalyst of change I was going to get insurance I was never not going to get inured okay but the the fact of the matter is if you would have crashed into someone at 287 and out way that would have been too late had away that's it love the I'm sure that you're going to notice that um insurance rates are up like 20% in Arizona just this last year and a portion of that is people that are driving and and uninsured not all of it but there is a portion of that that's a it's it's a portion of this so so since we're on the topic of this by the way your driver's license is canceled I I just talked to the DMV about it yeah don't talk to go there and talk to someone face to face yeah like what the heck it's not supposed to be you know what it was I had a cracked windshield on my ex-husband's car you have a crack windshield on this car this wasn't my car but anyways um I replaced the windshield turned in all the pap workk to the cords Y and they didn't enter into the system and I either wrote the judge I've never heard of a license being canceled because of that it's kind of a strange thing so so we're uh it's not it's canceled uh so I'm going to seize that because it's illegal for you to be in possession of a knowingly suspended cancel the revoked license um so you don't have any current registration you don't have any current insurance and you don't have a current driver's license you have nothing that allows you to drive on the road whatsoever um and I know things are different down in Tucson but up here in panau County yeah I know I leave a domestic violence situation to better my life and I've done nothing but can ruin it more yep yep there is but there's there's also parts of just adulting as they say taking a trip to Walmart just cost me does right so there's things that we need to take care of in a sequential order and and license registration Insurance are are things that are more important than monsters cigarettes and Walmart I promise I promise that is the the correct sequence of things no he smokes cigarettes so um sir do husband's well your husband's car registration expired in 2021 and we're now in 2024 oh I can see the the tab on the license plate expired in 21 now I see a lot of those and when I check it through MVD most of the time just someone forgot to put their tab on their license plate I don't even make the traffic stop for it because I know that they're they're in compliance this one I run it and it comes up hey it's been expired for 3 years so like not even try I can understand a couple months you know maybe you don't you don't get it or you didn't get the email or you know but 3 years you are literally trying you're trying to break the law like you have to put effort into that so um that was the original reason for stop and then obviously this it continued into well hey I didn't have my license I have a picture of it on my phone well it's probably because the last law enforcement officer that contacted that person probably took their license cuz they can't be in possession of it once it's knowingly suspended so that's probably what happened and then again hey I don't have any insurance so the you know Sam loves themes and the theme of this fres with Frank was I don't have a driver's license I don't have my registration I don't have my insurance so we just happen to have these two stops that were in pretty close proximity to each other uh TimeWise where they had the trifecta violations of no license registration and insurance like the three things that I ask for when I go up to every car so all right let's see if we can find some registration paperwork and current proof insurance for me the say yes ma'am all right and insurance I don't know if there's Insurance on this car okay all right hang TI forone driver's like hey I don't have my license with me I just have a picture of it on my phone that's because it's suspended so she's suspended which she didn't tell me but I had to come here and find out which I kind of knew anyway and then she also goes yeah we don't have insurance for this car so we have she has no license no registration and no insurance like not trying to obey the slightest bit of a normal adult's responsibility um so she's going to get tickets for everything and she's going to park her car here because she can't drive it you have a picture on your phone of your license because it's suspended my license okay yeah I okay my mail goes to my mom's I just picked it up today I saw the letter he's I tell multiple times but he's going to pay it and then we'll get into it sorry I'll just for my parents I'm sorry you 3 years expired registration you have no insurance for your vehicle and your driver's license is suspended from some red light ticket that you got and probably didn't take care of you remember that okay so this vehicle because your registration is expired can't be on the road anymore and you don't have any insurance and you don't have a driver's license to drive so you can't drive from this point okay okay so I'm going to work on your ticket you work on that okay I'm trying single-handedly to lower everyone's insurance rates including mine um by making people have insurance I just took an accident this week and the at fault driver didn't have insurance and the lady she hit actually called the Sheriff's Office and was like what do I do um this person doesn't have insurance and I was like well you have insurance she's like yeah but I don't you know my rates are going to go up I said I know and that's why I'm trying to make people have insurance um in my case obviously I cided the lady for not having Insurance um and ultimately I'm sure she will get insurance but it didn't help at the time of that Collision and that's why anytime someone doesn't have insurance that I issue that citation is because if nothing else traffic cops in Arizona are issuing citations trying to get people into compliance so that when they crash into you um that you have some recourse and you can get your car fixed through their insurance company instead of filing it with yours so driving while your license is suspended is Criminal no current registration that expired in April 3 years ago and then not having current proof insurance that person they were they here for you yeah okay so what we're going to do is we're just going to have them drive your car and just park it right in the parking lot here at the church um just so we can get it out of the road uh so I don't have to tow it
