PJ is not cheap. >> That is cheap. That is really cheap. I buy stuff for like thousands of dollars. Okay. This Chanel bridge is $7,000. I'm rich. I can afford all this. >> Yes, sir. I understand. Is it an accident? Is this a misunderstanding? Listen, you don't have any contraband hidden anywhere on your person and your body, anything like that that you may have forgotten about. Contraband illegal narcotics, any hidden weapons, makeup. When entitlement finds its way into some celebrities, it begins to make them believe that some level of fame is some kind of golden ticket that lets them stroll into any store and treat unpaid shopping like a personal privilege. >> You didn't just steal from this Target on this particular day. You also did it multiple other times. Okay. >> What? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Wait, don't fight it. >> Call my dad. Call my grandma. Tell him to call my lawyer now. When entitled celebrities think they can get away with shoplifting. Meet Vietnamese American singer 57year-old Linda Trang Dai who thought she could borrow a Gucci AirPod from a grocery store with no intention of returning it just because she was famous. >> It's a AirPod holder. >> You know what? I'm rich. I have money. So if they want to pay it, fine. That is cheap. That is really cheap. I buy stuff for like thousands of dollars. Okay. This Chanel bridge is $7,000. I'm rich. I can afford all this. >> Is it an accident? Is this a misunderstanding? >> Maybe. I don't know, but I just think it. >> On January the 5th, 2025, grocery store loss prevention officers called Florida police after they recognized the woman later identified as 55-year-old No Linda Trang D. Lee, a former Vietnamese singer and fashion icon, who was caught on camera helping herself to some merchandise from the store the previous day. The officers rushed over, eager to find out the reason why a high-profile individual would steal something they could easily afford. >> Yeah. on the video. >> So, I don't have it. So, what happened? >> Okay. >> I did buy >> on the video. It shows you were here yesterday. It shows that you purchased two bottles of cologne >> and it shows you took a keychain for the display case. I didn't >> And as we're bringing you up this the it's the the iPod holder. >> I know. But as you were as you were bringing up the cologne, you had the keychain still. hang out. >> I looked at the uh iPod holder, >> but it didn't fit. So, I didn't buy it. >> Well, but you walked out with it cuz it didn't. >> No, no, I didn't. >> Did you ask them if they can look around to see if it fell in? Because it's really small. >> Yeah. Well, >> it doesn't >> They don't have it. And you walked out with it and they said, >> "No, I didn't." >> And then you get back to the store and that's why they recognized you, >> right? I came back. So, I didn't do anything wrong. That's why I came back. Well, that's that's >> if I did something wrong. Why would I come back? >> That that's what happened. So, you walked when you came back. >> It's not Let me Let me tell you. It's not a keychain. >> So, what is it then? It's not a keychain. What is it? >> It's a AirPod holder. >> No, on the on the video. There's no only AirPod holder that I see. >> Oh my god. I know. That's the only thing I No, that's the one. It's silver. That's the only thing I look at while I'm waiting for me. >> It's Yes, it's a AirPod holder. I don't need any keychain. Oh, >> it's not a key chain. Keychain. >> Oh my god. I'm not telling you. >> It's an airplane holder. >> I didn't find it on you. Let me check your bag. I couldn't find it. >> A keychain item. >> You know what? I'm rich. I have money. So, if they want to pay it, fine. But it's not a keychain. It doesn't fit this. I took it out. Why don't we camera? I took it out. I put it in. >> So, did you see me putting it in? >> No. I see you took out the the the iPod and you looking at the keychain >> to put it in there. >> What? >> To put it in what? You put the keychain in that >> to test this to see if it fit. >> Right. >> It's not a keychain. I'm a fashion designer. I know. It's not a key chain. >> What was it then? >> It's a AirPod holder. >> It's a AirPod case. >> Call them. It's AirPod case. >> They swear with a keychain and value at $330. >> It's not That's it. >> Yeah. >> Oh my god. >> Gucci keychain. It's not cheap. >> That is cheap. That is really cheap. I buy stuff for like thousands of dollars. Okay. This Chanel bridge is $7,000. Okay. It's not a keychain. It's a airport hopper. How can I tell you? >> It's a airpod hopper. >> Believe me. >> At this point, the officer could hardly tell if she was saying the truth or not. But before they could continue to interrogate her, they decided to do something they should have done the moment they stepped into the store. >> I guess you guys were working with Orange County. I got here. She didn't want me to take over. You guys reported it online yesterday. >> Today? >> Where was Oh, today. >> Okay. Where is it exactly that she was standing like passing the video? I know you guys should have already. >> And what what was the air bottle? >> Oh, sweet. >> Keychain air bottle over there. >> Did you submit the video like that? >> Yeah, submit the video. Oh gosh. >> So, she's going to come up. >> She's arguing if it's a keychain or it's a >> keychain. She supposed to slide underneath her wallet. >> Oh, yeah. Just keep it here. All right. And so far, she never brings it back out. She never put it back. I know forever the counter. Okay. She walks over, gets them distracted, running back flustered. I walk forward around She keeps going around 3:08. Let me show you that. She walks out. She going to go down. Show me the fragrance. Guess she just >> And then puts it back. still has the holder and then she walks out. I can show you walking out of 308. >> At no point she attempted to pay for the item. >> Nope. Nope. >> And then just walks out. Her husband's outside her husband. I don't know. >> Can I see the beginning of the video where she just see her face again? Cuz I was supposed to take >> That's the same lady you recognized that came back today. >> The same hair color. Um, >> let's say just come back today. >> No. Okay. >> Um, you guys want to put charges? >> Yeah. Okay. I'm going to need I know you probably need a statement online. >> I can't grab that because it's already been submitted. I'll grab another statement for you. You don't mind throwing that out? >> Sure. No problem. um just pretty much outline very basic. I'm sure you >> um and then >> you guys um she asked you guys did inventory of everything. which is not like she'll talk to her and then get a safe. >> While the cops are busy gathering every piece of evidence they could against her, she wasn't sitting idle. She was well aware that she could ruin her reputation if news of her stealing went viral. She needed to find a way out and had to do something with the very limited time on her hands. >> All right. Um, real quick, obviously you've been paying your investigation. I'm going to let you know the investigation. Uh, I know they talked to you before. Um, you read her name. >> No. Okay. Um, because I want to ask you questions to get some clarification. I do have to read your rights. Okay. Does not mean you're right. >> And then I want to ask >> what's the thing? This is going to happen to you. >> Yeah. >> Wait, what is it? >> You're not free to leave right now. We just do investigation. So I can leave. >> You're not? No. >> You're not. You're detained. You're detained. >> What does detain mean? >> Like you're being held. Can't go anywhere, right? >> Yeah. >> Oh. Oh. Not arrested, but detained. Meaning that you have to wait. >> We have to investigate. >> Exactly. We have to investigate the facts before we make determination. That's what we're doing right now. >> All right. We have the right. >> Yes. >> You want to talk about what happened? >> Yeah. like he said now. So, I bought the two uh cologne, but while waiting for them to bring me up, >> I saw like a a AirPod holder. >> Okay. >> But because you keep saying a key chain, that's why it's confusing. >> Well, this is what it is right here. So, it's not it's not really confusing because it does look like a keychain. >> Oh, well, I don't think there's I tried on this one. So, >> it's it's it's a it's a AirPod holder, >> but I wasn't sure if it would fit this. >> So, I tried put it on there. Oh, okay. >> I put it on, but it didn't fit. That's why I didn't get it. >> Okay. What did you do with it? >> I just left it back. And then >> where did you leave it at? >> Uh on the just threw it on the counter and then >> which counter check out? >> Yeah. Where they bring up the the bottle? >> So where So exactly where you run out the bottle? >> Yeah. Because what happened was they bring me up and I put the credit card in and it didn't go through somehow. It was kind of it was really crazy. So I don't I was trying to hurry to get out to go to work cuz I had to sing. So I need to do work and then then they make me do it again. So it was kind of crazy cuz they were ringing a few people up. So I don't remember. I just said, you know, hurry and hurry and then left. >> Okay. So what? Right where you were checking out with the bottles of cologne where you put the keychain back at. >> Yeah, that's where I looked at where that went. >> Okay. >> It was like really >> pretty much it's fair to say it's pretty much fair to say the exact spot that you got it from is where >> Yeah. So maybe that's what I was trying to tell. Maybe can they search the whole store? They might have fell somewhere before they >> show the deal with your story. All right, it's not true. I reviewed the video. You're seeing putting it under your wall. They have a camera right above. >> Yeah, I know. I see the camera. Obviously, I can see everybody with >> Everybody has cameras. >> I only see you take it's 330 bucks. All we're asking All we're asking is cooperation and admission. All right. I'm not asking you to sit here and continue to make up stories. >> You put the keychain holder under your wallet. You walk around the store and you exit. You never once dropped it anywhere. Okay. Everything in that store is >> I have never taken anything. >> Is it possible for >> simply? I was in a hurry. >> Do you have it at home? >> Do you have it? >> You want it at home? Did you forget and that's why you came back today? >> No. Nobody's accusing you of being >> I'm rich. I can afford all this. >> I understand. Is it an accident? Is this a misunderstanding? >> Maybe. I don't know. It's really crazy because this never happened to me before. >> Okay. >> I was in a hurry because I sang at the tele >> Okay. Where are you at? >> Tele in um >> Where is it at? Do you have the home? Can you go back and get it? >> Get what? >> The the airport. >> I don't have it. Maybe it sells somewhere. I don't have it. Seriously. >> Where? >> But if you want to pay, I I don't want to pay. I don't have it. I swear to you, I don't have it. >> Is it in your car? >> If they want me to pay, I will pay. >> Is it in your car? >> I don't have a car. I've been taking Uber. >> I don't live here. That's a lie. >> Where do you live? >> I live in California. >> So, who's the gentleman in the car that came back for you? >> That's just my friend. My my fan, my loyalty. >> And who was thebody? Anybody run that? >> No. Anybody? >> He's a loyal fan that I was saying. >> Do you have a OPD? >> Yeah. >> I mean, I have to pay for it. >> I don't have it. >> But you told me you put it back. I did not. >> No, I don't remember. I I think I throw everything back when my husband was rushing me out because we were late for the show. >> For a moment, the former Vietnamese singer let herself believe the cops had bought her story because she was a celebrity and that there was no way she would be taken into custody considering her status. But what happened next quickly reminded her that the law was no respector of wealth. >> He the only reason we came in here because his outfit was malfunction. So we went to Demon and bought him a suit. A suit of suit. But you do remember yesterday picking up the keychain, testing it out, and then >> not a keychain stuff. >> The whole >> I tested I tested it didn't clip. >> So I put it back into my my my my um LV thing and then I don't remember what happened to >> Do you know what I mean? >> No, not really. >> Because if it fit, I wouldn't buy it. It didn't fit. >> I tried it. It didn't. You should look at camera carefully >> and they checked the person. >> I tried it. He looked at >> He looked at the hotel. >> Are you okay if I look at it? >> So I I don't remember what happened, you know, to that thing. Maybe. Can't they search the whole store? >> It's really little. So I don't know. >> They can't search the the store for it. They did they do counts >> like that's cuz that's really >> I understand. >> I mean it's not anywhere on the ground or in the >> clothing or anything like that. Or did they check on the cologne side because I went back there to make sure >> they checked the entire store. >> Okay. Cuz I went back there to make sure the cologne was in correct cuz he gave me the wrong one. Have you ever been arrested for anything that before or charged a criminal? >> No. No. >> Uh, you have friends and family here? >> No. >> A friend? >> Friend? Okay. Sorry. >> Um, you can Are you able to set it down with it? >> Yeah. >> You want to put your phone? >> Oh. back. This time I'll be plac for retail patty cut. >> What? >> But I didn't take it. >> The video shows otherwise. They did an inventory of the store. >> I didn't take it. >> So wouldn't I can't go home. Unfortunately, ma'am, because you're not a resident of Orange County or OciOla, uh you're not >> I'm not able to do what we typically do, which is barge or >> Huh. >> So, what do I >> uh you're going to go to the Orange County jail and you're going to be you're going to bond out from there. >> So, somebody has to come and bond. >> Yeah. Somebody will have to come out and bond you. Your bond will be $1,000. >> Okay. They can do it right away. >> Uh I don't know as far as like on their end how long it takes, but you will be able to bond out as soon as you get there. It's just a matter of how long the >> Can I tell them? >> I'll let them know. >> They're my only >> here. >> Give me a second. Can you get Somebody's going to go do a statement at a Gucci. >> I need a OPD statement over there. >> You don't have anything. Do you have pockets? I have to check your waistband. Make sure you don't have any weapons on. They're hearing witnesses. >> Use the back of my hand to make sure there's no >> knives or anything like that. But >> if you want all your property you want all your property to go to you want me to say thank your family over there. >> Yeah. But can I talk to basically >> I'm standing here with my head? >> Yeah. >> Do you want them to know that you're being arrested? >> No, I don't because this is crazy. >> No. Can I have to stay here and talk to them at this door? >> When they get into your property, how where are they supposed to know about? >> Otherwise, where is it going to be? Here. >> Uh, it'll have to go to the jail. But I mean, I don't know. Where's your vehicle at? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You get it back. My >> So, I can take it with me. >> My only concern is because one, the price dollar of your bag, and two, if they don't allow that in the jail because sometimes they're very specific that >> nobody's taking care of it. Okay. >> Yeah. I'd rather give it to somebody, you know, that way there's for sure. >> Okay, I can give to Joe, but I'll explain to him. >> I'll bring her back here. >> Yeah. No, I can talk to her. >> No, we'll do. >> No, no, I'm not going out there. Just >> We'll bring them back here. >> No, no, but I don't want I don't want I need to tell them. This is a big misunderstanding. >> You can tell that. >> Can I just tell them through the door? >> Open them back here. You want to go through here? >> No. Can I just stand here and talk to you? Even in custody, she kept making demands like a typical entitled celebrity, used to getting their way. But she was no longer calling the shots. And sooner or later, she would have to face that reality. >> Just understand. You're under arrest right now. You're not being detained. You're under arrest. You understand? >> Okay. So, can I just talk to him? >> You want me to tell her what's going on or not? >> Just ask the girl. >> Just one person. >> One person. >> Who? >> Uh, >> one person. >> Only her. Only her. >> Don't Don't take both of them in. They don't need to. He was looking over here by >> the by the >> Oh, but we can go out to the back. We're not going to >> No, no, you got to load. >> Okay, I just bring it out to the back. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Right. Okay. My phone said, "Okay, can you come out? I need a new lawyer. No, no, I have to go to lawyer. >> Yes, >> I have to go to lawyer. I have to bed. And then you have misunderstand. It's okay for right now. >> So, can you give her the address? So listen, you can give her whatever you want to give her. >> Okay. >> I'm going to go get this pitch first. >> What? It might not. >> So your phone doesn't work. >> No. >> Okay. So here >> can you try it again if it works? >> No. Sis all the property. Uh can you remove her as much jewelry as you can that way? >> I guess I can miss. >> Okay. So, >> I'm not saying it's happened before, but I'd rather you give everything, you know, this never happened. I've never seen this in my life. Oh, this is fine. Okay. Okay. Okay. >> So, he need $1,000, right? >> $1,000. Now, can they use um credit card? >> I don't know. You have to There's something you have to take with them. I'm not sure. >> Oh, you have to pay cash. I'm sure you can. >> I have no idea. >> I I don't know. Like, we don't want to. >> Yeah. >> Oh, so you don't know. I'm sure you can, >> right? >> Are you able to fix your Okay. Thank you. >> Wait, what time can they come? >> Uh, it all depends. Sometimes it can be 6 hours, sometimes be 8 hours. It just depends on how long it takes the the process. Like, like I said, we don't really know that side once we drop you off. I mean, you do have a bond, so it's not like you have to sit and wait to see the judge. You'll be able to get out. >> It's just a matter of >> tonight, right? But you don't know how. >> Can you write down her phone number? Cuz I don't have my phone. >> Yeah, actually. >> Is there a phone in there that I can call? Okay, good. >> I'll call you. Did you write my number? >> Yeah, I'll call you then. So, >> you don't know. So, okay. All right. >> All right. Stay out here. >> After letting her talk to her friend, it was time to haul her off to jail. But they had one more question for her before taking her away. >> He's going to bring his car to the service corridor right over there. The one that Listen, you don't have any contraband hidden anywhere on your prison in your body, anything like that that you may have forgotten about. Contraband legal narcotics, any hidden weapons, makeup. I'm not a criminal. >> I understand that. I just give her the same warning because once you get to the other side of jail, if you introduce any brand, it's a felony. >> I don't have any. Okay. >> I don't know where Oh my god, this is crazy. Never happened before. >> They'll when you get to the jail, they'll have you change out so you don't have to worry about >> Oh, that they'll give you clothes to wear temporarily. >> Even though it's for like >> Yeah, everybody has to change. >> Even though it's an hour. >> Yeah. >> She was eventually charged with petty theft. The next case takes us to Atlanta airport where the Real Housewives of PTOAC Allen Mia Thornton was arrested for allegedly stealing a whopping $11,000 worth of rental furniture from a condo she previously lived in. >> All right. >> Yeah. I just wonder put that furniture back. Like this is enough. Like I have several emails telling me. On November the 19th, 2025, Atlanta officers were called to Hartsfield Jackson International Airport to collect a wanted individual who was being held at the airport's customs and border protection office. When officers arrived, they identified the individual as Mrs. Mia Fields Thornton, former The Real Housewives of PTOAC Star. She had an active city of Atlanta warrant related to a lasseny involving an alleged furniture theft. The alleged theft was reported to police by a property manager who claimed that Thornton had rented the condo with a roommate and that both roommates suddenly moved out of the unit in the middle of the night in late October, taking with them all the furniture which was in the unit prior to their move, as well as a television which was on the wall. He further revealed to the cops that the total cost of all the property stolen was $11,000. At the airport, the officers wasted no time to take her into custody. And for someone who had been on the run for a while, they never expected what she was about to do next. >> How you doing? I'm officer Hunt, City of Land Police. Uh, you know, you have a warrant, correct? For Okay. You know what it's for? >> Cool. All right. Cool. So, what we're going to do is I'll take you back to our precinct. Finish doing my paperwork. Once that's done, you have a cell phone. >> No. >> Okay. >> Um, so we'll go back to the precinct. I'll do my paperwork. Once that's done, then I'm going to transport you to phone count. Okay. >> So, we just we just have a holding sales. We don't have like jail. They're just holding themselves and I press it. >> Okay. If you want to, Grandpa throw your shoes on. Yes, ma'am. Go ahead. Go ahead. Thank you. 22 for mental eval. >> You want your hand? Excuse me. You want your hands? >> Hold on. >> Relax for a second. Relax. You want your hands this way or you want your hands turning side going this way? Which way is more comfortable? >> Okay, let's let's Okay. All right, that's fine. We'll go that way. [ __ ] it's all caught up. All right, I'm going to lock them so you can move on. Okay, get to the holding. I'll take them back off for you so you can relax a little bit. All right, we'll probably be at our pretty soon for probably about 20 minutes or so, so I can finish doing my paperwork thing and then we're going to head out. Okay. All right, this way. >> All right, bro. Take care. to get [ __ ] >> No, >> I didn't call him. I just have somebody else go out there. >> Is it possible to like call him? >> He has the storage key. >> Where is he still in the airport? You probably >> Yeah, we um call >> Yeah, put that furniture back enough. Like I have several emails whoever make telling says, "Just give me about 30 minutes. Uh, the paperwork rated." Okay. >> I'll let you make that call in a second, too. Okay. >> In the end, she was charged with theft by taking. Unlike Mia, who came clean with the truth when she was caught, Tik Tok influencer Marina decided to play dumb when she got busted for shoplifting at multiple Target stores. I will figure out an arrangement for your kids. >> There's security video footage of you um stealing from Target. Okay. >> Don't remember doing that. >> Okay. You don't remember doing that? No. >> Okay. You didn't just steal from this Target on this particular day. You also did it multiple other times. Okay. >> On November the 21st, 2024, officers from the Cape Corral Police Department received a call from a Target store's loss prevention office reporting a theft. The officer explained that the suspect, later identified as Marina, had been caught on security cameras engaging in unpaid shopping. He added that this wasn't the first time that she had been involved in such behavior, and at first they could hardly believe their eyes given her celebrity status. But once it became clear that her actions were deliberate, they decided it was time to take action. The police knew that this was a serious allegation against an influencer, and if it got out, it would create more buzz than most of her Tik Tok videos. So, they decided to visit her residence to begin their investigation. >> Hello, Gore Police. I'm Marina. Do you have a second? >> Um, yes. Can I just put a jacket on? >> Absolutely. Go ahead. >> Okay. Can you come to the house now, please? I need you. >> I need you to stay with the kids because I'm I'm getting arrested right now. >> I don't know. There's something that happened at Walmart. But I need you to come stay with them, please. I don't I don't have anyone else to come. I don't have these parents. Like I the only one I know I can trust is you. >> Yeah. I don't know. But I literally the only person I can call right now is you. Like you cannot call anyone else. Like, are you going to be on your way now? Okay, dude. >> All right, don't call anyone out. >> At first, they just wanted to hear her side of the story, but after overhearing the call she was making, they realized they wouldn't be doing much of the talking. >> Are are you able to talk? Are you Are the Are you the only one home or? >> Yes, my kids are home. >> Okay. Is anybody else home? >> No, it's just my >> Okay. Do you mind if you talk to us real quick? So, uh, I want to talk to you about a certain incident. Okay. But before I do that, I'm going to ask you to turn around. Okay. Put your hands behind your back. Okay. >> Okay. Um, what about my kids? >> I will figure out an arrangement for your kids. >> Can I just call my >> Yeah, you can. You can. >> Okay. >> So, we'll give you that opportunity. All right. >> Can I change? >> No. No. Not right now. Why is this locked on your sweater? >> How? Like I'm literally freezing. Like I'm not allowed to change. >> No. >> Like my kids are literally babies. >> I understand that. I saw them in the security video footage. >> What security video footage? >> Wait for her to come here, but we'll we'll walk to my car in the meantime. >> Okay. >> I'm going to take a car. Thank you. How old are your kids? >> Um, three and one. >> I'm going to stay right here in case I wake up. He's not leaving until someone else comes. All right. >> Okay. >> We can we like wait inside. I'm cold. Or am I? >> No, you're going to be in my car. It'll be warmer in there. You don't have anything on you, right? I know you just woke up, but do you have anything in pockets or anything like that? >> No. I wish I would be able to change though. We're going to go on the other side. >> You stand here, face the car, and then spread your feet. I'm just going to patch you down with the back of my hand. All right. Make sure you don't have any weapons or anything here. I'm going to open the door so you can get um air conditioning. >> After placing her inside the police cruiser, they proceeded to read her Miranda rights before interrogating her. >> Do you know why we're here? >> No, I just asked you that earlier. >> Okay. I know you had said something. You thought it was something to do with Walmart >> on the phone. Okay. Why do you think that? >> Um I don't know. Oh, he said something about security camera footage. >> Okay. >> And I remember I was only at Walmart yesterday. So, >> Gotcha. All right. Well, um, you shop at Target often? >> Walmart? >> Walmart? Not Target? >> I do shop at Target. >> Okay. Um, do you remember an incident in October? >> Um, >> okay. Um, >> I don't remember the exact dates that I go. Okay, that's fine. Um, so I'm going to be real with you. Okay, so there's security video footage of you um stealing from Target. Okay. Um, you go to >> Walmart. >> Yeah. Tell tell me if it you know if I have it wrong or or what or correct me if I have a if you have a different point of view. Um, you go to a selfch checkout. Um, you have a separate little barcode scanner. You scan multiple times. It rings up for a dollar and then you take the merchandise, pass the scanner and put everything in a bag. You do that multiple times to multiple items. Um, and then you put it in the cart that has your two kids in it. So, I was just wondering kind of what was going through your head at that point >> in October. >> Yeah. Not for a second had she imagined that the cops would bring up her October shoplifting stunt. She had somehow convinced herself that being an influencer meant that she could get away with it. But now at the past coming back to bite her hard, she had to figure out a way out of this mess. >> Don't remember doing that. >> Okay. You don't remember doing that? No. >> Okay. All right. I mean, it's fine that you don't remember, but it happened. It's on video. Um that's submitted into our evidence department. Okay. So, that's what you're being arrested for is theft. All right. So, we're going to head down to the Lee County Jail based off of that. Do you have any questions or do you have any comments? >> I do. I >> Okay, go ahead. I'm here. >> I need to call my um boyfriend. >> Okay. >> I just don't have his number. So, >> okay. How do we get his number? >> The only number? It's on my phone. >> Oh, okay. Well, I'm bringing your phone to the jail. Um once we get to the jail, uh there's a booking process, so I have to do some paperwork, right? Once I finish my paperwork, I hand you over to the Lee County uh sheriff's office deputies intake. They grab you, they get the phones out uh the numbers out of your phone. Okay. So, that at that point is when you'll get the number for your boyfriend and you'll be able to call him once I transfer custody to for at the jail. Okay. >> Okay. And then what after? >> That's up to you and the judge. You have to speak to the judge. >> No, either I don't know. You might make it in time for first appearance. You might not. That's depending on the whole booking process. Okay. But if you do, you might speak to them this morning. If not, you'll speak to them tomorrow morning. >> Tomorrow morning? >> Correct. >> So, like what does that mean? >> What do you mean? You'll be held in the jail until you are able to speak to the judge. >> What even? Like >> there might >> that's what that's what happens when you steal. You know what I mean? There might be a second periods at 11, but I'm not sure. >> Yeah, there there might, like I said, only the benefit to you right now is that it's really early and that they haven't even opened yet. So, if we're able to >> How long does it take? >> What this whole process, me doing the paperwork and stuff and getting you into the jail? Well, since we do have to wait for whoever you called um to come and watch the kids, hopefully it's 7:30 right now. If I can knock out the paperwork and there's no line at the jail, it's probably going to take us what with morning traffic 30 minutes to get to the jail. It's downtown Fort Myers. So that's at 8:00, maybe 10:30. >> Okay. >> Okay. And like I said, I'll try and do my best. I don't want to be in the jail as much as you >> how much um it was at Target. >> What do you mean? Do you know how much? >> It's a it's a misdemeanor charge. So, I would just be careful because there are other cases open. Okay. You didn't just steal from this target on this particular day. You also did it multiple other times. Okay. So, there may be other charges pending. Okay. But right now, me and my I'm investigating a certain case. I have found probable cause to make an arrest for my case. There are other cases right now that are being investigated. I'm just giving you that heads up. So, right now, you have a misdemeanor charge with me, but you may have a felony down the road coming. Just letting you know. I I >> So, there's other ones open. Like, what does that mean? >> There may be. I I don't know. I'm not saying that you're >> understanding how there may be item that go. Well, that's that's not true, you know, because we have you on security video footage. You had others. Okay. >> What others? >> I'm not I don't I don't know specifics about other cases. All I know is this case is my case and I like I said, I found probable cause to make an arrest. Okay. >> Do you have any other questions or comments? >> Will I be able to talk to um my grandma before she goes? >> Yeah, I'll let her talk to her. Do you feel comfortable with it's your grandma, you said? >> Yeah. >> Coming here and watching over the kids. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Now, she um watches my mom. >> I just want to make sure that we if we take you to jail that you're giving her the caretaker custody of your kids in the meantime. >> Oh, no. Yeah. She watches them all the time. >> Okay. Good. >> Do you happen to have your ID in the house? >> Um >> just for the jail purpose. While the officers focused on retrieving her ID, she began to wonder just how much the police knew about her. Deep down, she knew the game was already lost, but she was still willing to do whatever it would take to salvage the situation. >> Sometimes it's like in my little wallet and I leave it in like my pants pockets. But, >> okay, >> it's either in my purse or like in one of my pants pockets. >> Jail's going to ask cuz they they usually like an ID. So, what? Give me your first name. >> Spell it for me. >> M A R >> Mhm. >> L E >> N A. >> You have a middle name? >> Um Lynn. L Y N. >> Okay. And your last name? >> Buzz. B E L L E Z. >> Is your primary residence here? >> Yeah. All right. Where were you born? What city, state? >> Uh, New York. >> New York. >> New York. New York. >> Yes. >> Are you employed? Um, let's see. I'm just trying to think cuz there's other questions I just got to ask you about, you know, demographics and stuff, but I I may ask you later cuz I have to pull it up. I'm just trying to see if I remember everything. That'll be all for now. Any other questions, comments, concerns that we can answer for you? Just trying to be real with you, that's all. >> Um, no. But I just need to find out. >> Okay, that's fine. I'll close the door now. Okay. >> After speaking with her, the officers decided to wait for Marina's grandmother, who was to take custody of her children. When she arrived, she had only one question for Marina. But instead of being concerned about the situation at hand, Marina surprisingly had other concerns. So, what happened? You know, >> he said something at Target, like some stuff I think. >> Target or or Walmart? Which one? >> Target. >> Well, you better figure it out. I have to I have to call because I had to cancel my doctor's >> appointment. Okay. I'll text you and tell him. >> Yes, but don't call anyone else. >> I won't. I won't.
