This is getting old. >> Yeah, for real. >> Let's go. This is getting super old. Let's go. >> What are you going to do? >> We're going to arrest you for >> riding a scooter. So, shut up. >> This is not >> I don't give a I'm riding a scooter. What are you doing before? What am I doing? >> This video comes to us from 50 police body cam. I'm digging it. I like I like everything about it. And if you want to look for more stuff like this, go check them out. >> Cuz you've been aggressive. >> This is my car. Then you mind your business, [ __ ] Maybe you're doing your job. She's so angry. She must be a South Pole out like you're going to burn. I'm so sorry. >> I like that guy. >> I'm sorry. My name [ __ ] Why didn't somebody go away after they dexed him in the face? You worthless [ __ ] You want to come after us? Oh, I'm coming at you cuz I'm a big >> She's so angry. >> Let someone drive away after they want to drink. >> Yeah. 2016. Anthony out of here. >> Get the out of here. >> You're not going to go take me to jail for [ __ ] What are you going to arrest me for? >> Oh, she needs to go to jail real bad. >> What? I'll call my dad right now. You What are you going to arrest me for? >> Call my dad. >> Godamn [ __ ] I'm getting the out of here with this white ass fat [ __ ] that doesn't know how to do. You waste your face. Big waste of all you big [ __ ] >> Get your girl. She's going to go to Jefferson. >> Get your girl. Got a mad, [ __ ] >> She needs to go. >> What are you going to arrest me for, [ __ ] >> Did he just punch that car? >> What's happening here? >> What' that car ever do to you? >> You're a worthless drive. No, this [ __ ] is the same. This is great. >> That guy is just trying to make everything go away. Oh, here she comes. That's it. Done. Done. That's it. >> Here comes repercussions. Get off of me. Get off of me. I got to go kill my kids. >> Oh, that needs to happen so bad. And away to jail you go. >> Sit down. [Music] >> Oh, I love it so much. Everything's >> Here we go. This is how it happens. These officers are like, "Look, we're just going to detain. We're going to detain everyone, figure out what's going on, see if we have charges. Um, it's it's a great way to quell the situation because the majority of the time once handcuffs go on, um, the fight is out of people and it allows us to talk with people more civily. Um, it restricts their movement. So once they're in our custody, we get to kind of control them a little bit more. Um, and it tends to lead to better interviews than when someone's mouthing off. So, I really like this technique and I think it works out really well. >> You're going to be detained right now until we figure out >> things could have just been so easy. >> Take her home, bro. >> You're not under arrest. You're detained right now. >> Yeah, we won't figure it out, bro. >> That's fine, bro. I was just trying to take her home. >> Can you step away from my officer, please? Thank you. I appreciate >> my rights. >> Yeah, I know. >> I have my rights. >> You have your right to not back my officer. >> I have my rights. That's my sister. No. >> Okay. >> No. No. >> What? Did you just tell that officer? No. >> My officer, please. I have my rights. Nope. >> Okay. >> Nope. >> I don't think you know what your rights are. >> Interfering with the investigation. >> That kid's going to go. >> My sister right there. >> Okay. >> Your sister needed to go to jail. >> She needs to go. >> I'm not even drinking. Please get off. >> Oh, so you have no excuse for your actions. So if you're acting like this and you're not drinking, are you just a like are you just a bad person? Like is that like what's like at least there's there's a reason like oh she was drunk. Okay, there's an explanation to it. But if you're stone cold sober and you're acting like this, you need to be a better adult because you're terrible at it. >> I'm trying to go home, you guys. Like, stop. >> Get off of me. I have two kids. >> I've been trying to go home. >> You're not trying to go home. You're trying to go to jail and you're going to go. >> Guys, please. Like, please hitting a cop. >> I'm not trying to hit a cop. I just did. >> That's not what I was trying to do with you guys. Please. I've never been in trouble before. Please don't. >> You just got a felony. >> I talked a big game before the cuffs went on. >> So, she's saying, "Hey, I' I've never been in trouble before. You really never been in trouble before with this mouth. Like, you're mouthing off to everyone in sight, including the police, but like no one's you've never mouththed off to someone and they haven't immediately tried to change your perspective by punching you in the face. I doubt that with a mouth like that. I just I I don't think that you can mouth off in the world and not see some sort of repercussion come your way immediately. >> You guys away you go. >> Like please officer >> over here. >> Please you guys like I've been all night. >> Oh no it's please. Please you guys. >> I've been trying to be cool all night. Like please don't you guys. >> No we don't have discretion. You just committed a felony. >> Okay. I'm sorry. >> What's your badge? 5342. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Yeah. Check that off your bingo card. >> Are you parked here? >> Cuz it's marked no. >> This is my sister's car right here. >> Okay. You need to take off then. >> No, I don't. I I don't have to. >> No, you do. >> Nope. I don't. >> Now we have a property. >> Here it comes. >> It says no hanging out. You'll be arrested for trespassing. I'm not. So, take off. >> You got 5 seconds to get out of jail. >> Yes. >> So, step outside the park. Look at >> him. Backing up. Backing up. Backing up. Backing up. >> Outside the fence. Thank you. >> I'm just a bit freaked out. I've never been to a white cop, you guys. Like, >> first time for everything. >> So, what's going on? >> I think she's drunk, bro. She got mad at that white cop cuz that white cop came and I was trying to hug her and say, "Bro, leave the white cop alone. You going to go to jail tonight." >> What? What does color have to do with anything? >> Take her to a hotel. We was just going to go to a hotel, bro. >> That guy's like three octaves higher than what a man should be. would like to have some more. Hey, hang out in the parking lot. You got to go. >> There you go. >> Go on. Sit down. There you go. >> You guys trying to get in trouble. >> You guys see they have babies to go home to. >> I'm in good lit. And goodbye. Oh, so much quieter. [Music] >> That's her car. I was going to drive her cuz she was drunk. You feel me? I was trying to take care of this whole I told her, bro. It's this girl, bro. I told her kids out of here, bro. >> What's your last name, bro? >> I a no. Yeah, I ain't on no papers or anything, bro. I cut I'm at a barber shop. >> Where you cut at? Uh, show time. >> Oh, showtime. Okay. >> Yeah, >> that's my boss right there. I just >> got that fade right >> with my brother. Actually, he's in the club right now, bro. And I was just trying to get her to a room and she wants to swear on cops. >> Bet you were >> with the cops, bro. I'm cool with all of them. I cut their hair. >> The guy they have cut, is he involved at all? You guys, >> I don't fix it. >> He didn't do anything. >> He didn't do anything. I got you. I got you. They can't do They can't do >> Who's screaming here? >> Who's yelling? >> Shut up. You're not making it better. >> What's your date of birth? >> You got nothing to do. >> I just got to make sure. >> You're good, bro. You got a job. >> See, that dude's cool. >> Appreciate you being calm. >> That dude's going to get unhooked. He's going to go home. >> Unlike that chick that slapped the cop, she's not going home. Go and turn around, bro. >> There we go. Out of cuffs. See, that's what happens when you're cool and cooperative. >> If y'all want a cut, bro, I'm sorry. This is the approach, but if y'all need a haircut, bro, come on. >> You don't want to throw this at me. I'm bad for business. >> Thank you. I appreciate it. Thank you very much. >> Thank you. >> Are those away he goes. Are >> those? >> That is the dichotomy of coolness right there. [Music] Hey. Uh, >> so I guess that's her car and these are the keys to it. >> Perfect. And I got his 49. >> You know they love you throw that word around. So it's time to throw that word around. having our back over there. Oh boy. >> Wow. >> Just a like a declaration of ignorance. >> I should have just went home. >> Yes, you should have. >> This group of people is just trouble. >> So maybe she has an impaired short-term memory. you ghetto ass [ __ ] walking up to me like you're going to put together. >> But just minutes before in this video, this entire group of guys is trying to keep her away from the police because she's so aggressive towards the police. And now the handcuffs go on and she's like, I can't believe I hang out with this group. They're nothing but trouble. Like the trouble of this group is you. You are like if you look around and you're like, "God, someone in this in this group is trouble." And you can't figure out who that person is. It's you. You're the person. So, I don't know what to say about her, but at least she's coming to the conclusion that there's trouble there. >> It is. Like, I just really want to go home with my kids. You should be home with your kids, like making macaroni and cheese and reading books. >> My car is locked, right? Do you know by chance? >> Um, I'm not too sure. Um, but we can check on it later. >> Okay. >> My one gym. >> Yes. >> Like to a different place than this? >> Yes. So, >> right now we are under arrest for grad peace officer resisting >> and uh probably I'm so scared. I've never been in trouble before. >> You always remember your first time. >> I'm scared. >> We're going over here. >> I'm so scared. You guys >> don't make this any worse. I need you to keep walking. >> I'm just really scared, you guys. I like am I going to be left without my kids forever? I'm like, "I'm sorry, you guys. I just like don't know how this all works." Like, >> so like, "Let me get this right. You've got kids at home and you're out acting a fool being contacted by the police surrounded by like two or three dudes, brother, friends. You're at somewhere. You look like you're drunk, but you have kids at home. Like you should be tucking children into bed, like reading bedtime stories, maybe like a warm glass of milk, baking cookies, knitting a scarf. Like there's all sorts of better things that you could do for your kids than be out doing this. So I don't know if she's going to get an award for mom of the year this year. >> So like, so like I told you, as soon as we know something, you're going to know something, too. But the first step is getting in the door. >> Am I going to be left without my kids, though? Like >> walk inside. >> How big and tough. Guys, I'm just scared. I just want my baby. I don't want to be love without them. Like, that's all I have is my babies. Like, >> how the pages turn out tonight. Amen. I knew I was going to regret it. Like, >> yeah. This is what regret looks like right here. Looks just like this. [Music] >> Sorry. >> So, we're going to go have a seat on that back pen. Okay. Are you going to be cool from now on? >> Okay. Just walk right into jail. Oh, there you are. >> Angelica Barker Bartlett was aged 26 at the time of this arrest. She was charged with battery upon a peace officer as a class 4 felony with resisting, evading, or obstructing an officer as a misdemeanor and with disorderly conduct as a petty misdemeanor. >> The maximum sentence for all three offenses in New Mexico is 3 years in prison and $6,500 in fines. However, on March the 4th, 2025, the suspect's public defender challenged the state's identification of her and all charges were dropped the following day. Was justice served >> in the comments below. >> All right. Back for me real quick. >> Just don't allow it to be in the front, okay? When when they pick you up. All right. >> They might make you a little more comfortable on the way there, but for right now, that behind your back. Okay. Is that too tight? Are you good? >> No. Okay.
