You're not a female. >> I'm not required. >> Often times, some teens are convinced that their age gives them a free pass to steal and walk away without consequences. However, what happens when these overconfident teens realize that they too can be arrested? >> There you are. Stand on your back. >> Y'all aren't allowed to do that if you're a male. >> Where did you check that? >> Can she search me? Cuz I don't want you touching me. I'mused. Please stop touching me. >> Mine are right here on this side in my bag. Here are some of the craziest moments when teen shoplifters thought they couldn't be arrested. Starting with a bold and cocky teen shoplifter who walked into a gas station like it was her parents' store. Clueless that she too can be arrested. >> Well, can I speak for myself? >> Can we speak? You you admitted that right or wrong? Did you or did you not admit to that? >> Your behavior >> call mom cuz I'm getting my ID back from you, bro. I'm not doing nothing, bro. Officers rolled up to a gas station in response to a report of an ongoing shoplifting. On arrival, the officers were met by an arrogant and overconfident team who was so convinced nothing could be done to her. >> And I say, "Hey guys, I closed the door, so show me everything you take." And they put it here, here, and then stuff here, water, and yeah, here. And water. I don't know where. So I told them, I'm going to call the police and they start to cross me like that stuff. >> And that's it. Okay. >> So, right now she told me, >> "Can you start getting demographics for me then, please?" >> Well, can I speak for myself? >> Can we speak? >> Yeah, we can speak after. >> I got [ __ ] first. >> Okay. >> So, what do you want done with these uh with >> But but my boss, he told me when you have someone like that, just call the police, close the door, and tell them everything happened and let them do whatever. >> Okay. >> So, >> you can go. Yeah. >> No, he didn't. >> Excuse me, sir. You trying to keep You admitted that right along. Did you or did you not admit to that? >> So, right now, you're going to stay here. >> I'm asking you why she can't admit to what she said the first time, though. I'm asking why she can't admit. >> Are you going to give me an opportunity to talk? Are you going to continue? >> Talk talk. >> So, right now, I'm going to review the security cameras and we'll figure out what's all going on. And what you're saying is we'll be recorded on this security cameras if she said you didn't do anything. All right. So, in the meantime, just work with Officer Weer and Officer Hobart and get get your demographics. You're not leaving right now. >> Okay. However, after reviewing the CCTV footage, the cops had a perfect image of the exact occurrence and were ready to carry out their duties. Meanwhile, the store clerk wasn't planning on pressing charges. Still, the teen's obnoxious and arrogant attitude was about to flip the script. Oh, >> always let me work. Mom, let me >> 727. >> Go in. If you want to go in, you can go in. >> I don't know what to do. >> I don't want to hurt anyone or do anything bad for anyone. But at the same time, >> what I can do is I can trespass him so that that he can't come back. How how does that sound? >> Yeah, that my ID. That's not your ID to take. >> I forgot. >> I can't get ID. >> All right, let's push it back in there. I don't want to sound the door. Push it in. >> I didn't push. Put your hand behind your back. Send in here. >> Put your hand behind your back right now. >> Yeah. Now, bro, get bro. >> Your behavior. >> Call my mom. I'm going to get my ID back from you, bro. I'm not >> Stop now. >> I'm not calling your mom. You're 18. business. I feel like the car. [Applause] >> No, we're not calling anybody. >> Yes, I can. >> I don't care. Am I a dude or not? I want a female to talk to me. I don't want no male touching me. I want a female to talk to me. You're not a female. You're not a female. I'm not required at this point. >> No. If nothing, sit down in the car. >> Sit in the car now. >> You're under arrest. >> Sit in the car. Sit in the car. You never leave your mama. Bro, my mom. Yes, you do. >> I'm sitting in the car. >> You did not, bro. I will get in the car and I call my mom. Don't grab me. Don't grab me. I had to you you too much. I can get out of the car myself. Can I get out? I'm trying to get up in the car. >> I'm not calling anymore. >> You're under arrest. >> [ __ ] bro. You're you're detained for an investigation. You're not snatching your ID out of my hand. >> Thank you. >> You good? >> Yeah, I'm fine. >> I noticed. >> No. >> And I'm telling you no. >> No. Even so, her attitude went from bad to worse as she spiraled into a full-blown meltdown. But the law is not known to bend for tantrums. And that was a reality she was going to realize sooner or later. >> Hey, nothing tell you to call my mama. I can call my mother to call my mama. [ __ ] I can use my mother to call my mama. Dumb ass >> at the jail. You can >> roll, bro. >> You need to sit down. >> No, I don't. I don't got thing, bro. >> You don't have nothing to hold me for. Is it cuz I'm black and pretty and you're ugly? >> Has nothing to do with that at all. >> Clearly it is. Clearly it is. Clearly it is. on your bikes. You >> have no rights to touch me, bro. I felt violated. If I felt harassed or any type of assault, I I can make that into your report. >> Okay, >> you can report it >> and I will report it. But after this investigation over, you going to see that I didn't do nothing wrong. You going to let me go? >> Well, you should have thought about that. >> You going You going after this investigation over, you going to see I didn't do nothing wrong and I'm get to go back to my child. That's all I've been trying to do. What the [ __ ] [ __ ] I got the wrong things going on. Okay. I didn't do anything wrong. You grabbed my ID. I I I asked for my ID back. You tried to say I tried to snatch it. I just asked for my ID back. I literally put my hand out and then I touched it. You You smashed it back down. What did you say? It's all on your camera and your camera. What you just going to see? Did I touch mine? Then you snatched down then tried to say, "Oh, you snapped from [ __ ] I didn't snap from you." I don't have no reason to snap from nobody. What the [ __ ] [ __ ] >> you're under arrest. >> For what? For what? >> Destruction. >> What did I describe? >> My investigation. >> No, I did not. I didn't even do nothing. You lying. You lying on my mom. You just lied, bro. You just lied over my head, bro. You just lying to me, bro. You literally just sat up here and lied to me, bro. You just s me, bro. Oh my god, bro. Why you Why, bro? Like, what's wrong with you, bro? Like, I don't know what's wrong with you, but I didn't do nothing, bro. You just got still going on. I didn't do nothing wrong, so I don't understand how I'm under arrest for doing nothing. I didn't do nothing. I gave you my name. I gave you my mom number. All right. So, what are you trying to say? What are you trying to say? Cuz I didn't do nothing wrong, bro. I didn't do nothing wrong, bro. I didn't do nothing wrong. You still trying to say I did say that I didn't do nothing. >> Resisting an officer. Resisting an officer. Burglary. Resisting an officer. You have a pattern of behavior here. >> You lying. Oh, you lying, bro. You lying, bro. You lying, bro. You lying, bro. You lying, bro. You lying, bro. You lying, bro. I'm not under arrest for not doing it, bro. If I snatch my ID, why you still had my Come on. Come on now. Let's talk about it. >> I don't want to talk about >> If I snatch my ID, why you still had it in your head? You never read me my none of my rights. >> Correct. >> So, guess what? I can sue you for that. >> No, you can't. >> Yes, I can. >> I don't have any questions for you. >> Yes, I can. Yes, I can. You before you put me in the right chat, tell me why I was none of the rich. You didn't tell me that. You didn't tell me that. You didn't tell me that. But it's okay. It's okay, Fi. It's okay. You got that? 0800. You got that? You still going to see that? I do nothing wrong. So, I don't care. I really don't. No, I don't care cuz I'm going to get me a lawyer. I don't go to jail. I don't go to jail. I they told myself to take care of my kid. Like I keep telling you. >> Okay. Well, last year you went to jail. >> Yeah, last year. For something you don't even know nothing about. For fighting at school. What did you talk about? At school. At school. I take care of my kid to stay out the way. If this don't got time to go to jail and all this. >> In the end, she was charged with resisting arrest without violence and was given a trespass warning from the store. This bold and cocky teen might have thought her age was a shield to an arrest. However, this pregnant woman was convinced her baby bump gave her a free pass to steal from Walmart. >> I have four. Stop. >> Stop. Stop. Stop. >> You want to fight me so bad? Do it. >> Yes. >> I'm in the back of a cop car and I'm going to jail cuz I'm at Walmart and I got caught stealing. >> On February the 29th, 2024 in Washington, officers were dispatched to a Walmart after reports of an active shoplifting. When they arrived, they spotted the suspect, a pregnant woman, trying to slip out the back door in a smart way, thinking no one would notice. But the cops were already hot on her trail, and her escape plan was about to fall apart. >> Arrest, ma'am. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, you are. >> I have four months pregnant. Stop. >> Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. >> What? No, >> this is shoplifting. It's not that serious. Stop. >> Okay. Well, stop. >> Are you with her? >> Security. >> This is ridiculous. Can you drop these, please? >> Stop resisting. You got her arm. I'll just give it a cup. >> I don't want to do that. >> Stop resisting. Okay. Please stop. >> I'm not resisting. Well, you just think sounds like you aren't complying. >> There we go. >> We're not trying to hurt you, but you're resisting. No, we're not. >> That's precisely what you're doing. >> No, you just stole things and you don't want to cooperate. >> Sorry. >> Why are you bending my arm? >> I'm not trying to. >> Why are you bending it? >> Okay, you can calm down now. We're good. What did you get? >> Thanks, man. >> I'm good. >> Is this your guys or is this yours? >> It's mine. >> Okay. Walker back there. >> My arm hurt. Get off. >> I have nowhere to run. >> Y'all want to fight me so bad. Do it. Yes. Yes. Do it. Throw it out of it. [Applause] >> Break it. >> Break it. [Music] >> What is the point in hurting you if you're going to hurt me? >> I cannot walk through my arms and I won't. So just break it. My car's all the way around. >> My car's on the side. I don't know. >> Walk me correctly or I'm not going. It's >> not your choice. >> Why are you bending me like that? That's not necessary. >> Does this look like a to you? >> Let me go. Okay, let's go to the car. She's way too warm. >> Stop like that. >> You're causing me physical pain. No, I'm not calming down. >> I did. >> I'm pretty sure I told you to. [Music] >> I have a baby to go home to. >> Well, not tonight. >> Does uh do you have evidence bags in the back? >> I think so. >> Perfect. Can you grab me one, please? All right. You got a grip for I'm going to put those on. >> Can you not hold my arm like that? >> You going to come down? >> Yeah. >> But if you pull away like that, you have to go right back to it. Okay. >> Do you have anything in your pocket that's going to stick be uh poke you or hurt me? >> No. What a real piece of stealing cleaning supplies and baby clothes. What a criminal. >> Why do you dance more? >> Was it search? >> Okay. Last I checked, y'all weren't allowed to do that if you're a male. >> Wait, where did you check that? >> Can she search me? Cuz I don't want you touching me. I'm confused. Please stop touching me. >> Everything's on the same place. >> That sounds fine to me. >> You good with that? >> Yeah, that's >> Can you put my baby in with my belongings, please? That is mine. I paid for it. I want it back when all this is said and done. Thank you. >> Believing that her pregnancy and her baby at home would earn her a free pass, she threw a full-on tantrum, hoping the cops would be guilted into letting her walk. I need to go home. >> Stop. >> I'm never going to see my again. >> She's not in her head. I thought she was >> Yeah. I put her in hobbles. >> I got those >> or leg rest. >> Leg rest. >> Yeah. >> She's going to be kicking like that. I would. Otherwise, it's going to be >> right here. >> That's going to be long. >> Yeah, let's do it. >> Three players all three though, right? >> Yeah. >> So, that's why I say like >> mine are right here on this side in my bag. Okay, >> I just took over. >> I have a >> Yeah, I got >> Where is your Where's your house at? >> I'm going to tell you. >> Okay. Well, I need to know for the citation. >> I'm homeless. >> Okay. >> So, how are you going home to a baby if you're homeless? >> She's with her father. Okay, then she's she's somewhere safe. >> No, actually she's not. >> Okay. He's a biological father. Okay. So, if you're going to I got real quick, if you're going to keep continue to kick that kind of stuff, I'm going to put you into leg restraints. Okay. >> Do it. >> So, otherwise, just relax and we'll go up to jail and it'll be really quick and easy. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I'm never going to see my again. What are you talking about? >> It's a basic shoplift. If you would have complied with us from the very beginning, I'd have probably issued your >> works for black people when we get put in handcuffs. >> Okay. Are you going to be are you going to continue to kick my my >> I want to go home and see my month old. >> Okay. Well, that's not an option right now. Okay. All right. So, I'm going to ask that you relax and don't kick my seat cuz if you do, I'm going to have be forced to place you under leg restraints to prevent you from possibly injuring yourself >> before. That does not bother me. >> Okay? I'm just letting you know. >> I've been in neck restraints. >> Okay? I'm not I'm just trying to deescalate the situation the best I can. Okay? >> Goile go stop someone who's really mad and evil. I'm getting things for my That's still stealing. >> Okay. Which is still a crime. All right. It's not a victimous crime. >> Some stolen. >> Let's get started. >> So, are we going to continue to kick my chair? >> No. >> Okay. I appreciate that. When the pregnancy card and baby cries didn't do the trick, she quickly switched gears, spinning a brand new story, desperate to talk her way out of trouble. >> What am I in trouble for? Do I need a lawyer? >> You're under arrest for theft third and resisting. >> So, what happened? So, from here, I will be booking you into jail where you'll be able to see a judge uh tomorrow and you'll have a bail amount to get out of get out of jail. >> Well, I don't have bail. I don't have money. I can't even call my baby dad. I'm going to chew through my Idol. I am not a mentally stable person. You don't even know who you have in the back of your car right now. And I'm also on so I will sit here and withdraw as >> they have that available at the jail. >> Do a day in for that. I have a month >> and he doesn't even know where I'm at. So what happens if I don't get bail? I just sit in jail >> until you see a judge tomorrow. I'm going to myself. So, let him know that >> I will because I'm not sitting in jail when I have a period. There is no bail. I have no bail. That will not happen. So, don't even waste your time with that. There is no bail. >> Would you like me to make that phone call for you? Okay. Give me one second and I will, you know, I'll get to you just one second. Okay. >> Babe, >> are you >> I'm in the back of a cop car and I'm going to jail cuz I'm at Walmart and I got caught stealing. >> What? >> I am in a cop car. I am handcuffed. I am going to jail because I got caught shoplifting. >> Where? Which ones? >> It doesn't matter. The Walmart. >> No. What's the jail? >> I don't know. >> Should be going to score, sir. Up in De Mo. >> Thank you. Um All right. Um All right. Thank you. >> All right. [ __ ] All right. Okay. Um Yes. Um, what I mean? >> He said I have to stay tonight and I have to talk to a judge tomorrow and if I don't get bail, I'm >> How much do you know? How much is your bail here? >> I don't know. >> It's going to be $2,000. >> Or or >> bondsman. Yeah. >> Uh, thank you. Um, thank you. All right. Okay. Thank you very much. All right. >> Where is he? It'll be okay. Just let me It'll be all right. Okay. Thank you for calling me. I just Yeah. Let me go ahead and get to our guys. >> Love you. Oh, this is [Music] Go ahead and step on board, please. this step to this way and around this way. Mr. Tractor, this is a trespass notice. You're not you're not allowed to go back into that Walmart for the next 3 years. Okay. You do you'll be arrested for trespassing. Okay. >> Eventually, she was charged with theft and resisting arrest. Up next is the case of two teens filled with pure teen level overconfidence. They thought they could walk into Walmart, grab whatever they wanted, and walk right out. >> So, you tried to walk off the doors without paying? >> Yes, sir. >> And did you do that intentionally? You meant to do that? >> So, you wanted to steal the items, correct? >> Yes, sir. >> I'll tell you, you had knowledge that he came in here. Give me a sec. You're not letting me talk. >> Let me talk. Let me talk. >> I'll let you talk again. >> Okay. I just want to wait for my mom. I want to wait till tomorrow. >> I'm not waiting for your mom. Okay, turn around. >> Don't resist. >> I'm not resist. >> Okay. >> On February the 20th, 2024, officers responded to a call from Walmart after two teens were busted trying to sneak out with stolen items. Store security had already stopped them at the exit, and by the time the cops arrived, the teens were handed over, and the law was ready to take its course. However, cocky and unfazed, the teens were convinced they'd walk away without a scratch. At least not while they still had age on their side. >> What's up, Sam? >> Hey, how's it going? I was in there. The male was refusing to give a name. >> Okay. Now, what what do you guys want to do? Prosecute. >> Okay. I won't call Davidson. I'm going get a receipt and tell I tell them what happened. I don't know what happened. Got you. before I stopped these two at the grocery side. Last Hold on a second. >> Anything else? >> No, that's it. Did you check the Legos and make sure the marker matches? >> Yeah, I saw them going out the grocery stores. >> Okay. Cuz I saw him put on a sweater and uh and try to walk through the store with the bag products here in the toy section. just regular Walmart bag. And yeah, um this young man said he's 18 and that she's 17 and he didn't want to give me his name and he said he has no idea. Gotcha. >> I'm not around here. >> Anywhere you go, you can get an ID not a matter of fact over there. You have to >> but I told him that I can pay for the stuff that he just >> I mean we we passed that point, you know, once you once you guys passed all points of sale. I know my first time cuz I never get arrested. So >> no matter if it's the first time, second time or third time. >> So >> I know I was wrong. I know. And >> but over over there you're a minor till you're 21. So >> okay. Well, we're we're here. >> We're here in the United States. >> So we don't really need >> You're 18. >> Yeah. >> No, you're an adult, brother. >> No, you're an adult. >> We're there till 21. It's not necessary. >> Okay. No, I'm I'm not giving you issue about the ID. I mean, I'm not even asking y'all questions yet about the incident. I just wanted to see if you guys had an idea on you. >> Thank you. >> Okay, that's fine. We'll we'll sort we'll sort all that out. What? Whatever you bought, whatever you don't whatever you haven't bought here shortly. But the main reason I'm here is because they're saying that, you know, you guys stole some items. So, you know, just give me one second. >> Well, we didn't throw. So, >> well, here's the deal. It is counted as retail theft if you pass all points of sale. So, I don't know if you can see this screen right here, but you see these little markers. >> You see these little markers right here? >> Yeah. >> If you pass those points right there and you didn't pay for those items, that's stealing. >> All right. >> That is retail stuff. >> It don't matter if you if you pass those and you drop it. >> Yeah. >> That's still stealing. >> I won't argue with you about what ceiling is. I know what the statute is, brother. >> I've been working here. >> Stand for Thank you. Literally, I'm going to the Navy. >> Okay, that's fine. You can go to the Navy. Like, >> but that's not that's not going to Listen, that's not even going to wash away exactly what happened tonight. So, I'm just going to be honest with you, brother. I won't lie to you. All right. You got a name? >> Yeah. >> Okay, I got you. I'm going to let you know right now that if you give me the wrong information, if you tell me a fake name and I find that it's a fake name, that's going to be an extra charge. Okay? >> I believe you. I'm saying I believe you right now. But if I go look you up and I don't find you, you know, now we going to have problems. Bigger problems. Okay. Um, what about you, sweetheart? What's your name? >> Y. >> I got you. Are you 17? You're 18 as well. Okay. So, y'all both adults. Okay. >> I guess. >> Yeah. Yeah. Both adults. You know, I was under the impression you guys were 17. Well, you were 17 and he's 18. That's what I was under the impression of. But if you're both 18, we're both adults right here. So, okay. Um, that means I don't got to call your parents like that. Um, all right. Y'all ever been to Y'all ever have any issues at law before? Ever been in trouble with the police? Gotcha. Now, did we see both of them go out the store with the Did they both were complicit in it or what happened? Well, she had a hoodie in her hand and we had the bag with the other products. >> Okay, >> I'll be so honest. We have so many stuff. I literally forgot I had the freaking jacket on my hand like a little like I only had >> They kept that cocky attitude acting like whatever it was that was happening was no big deal. But the officer wasn't new to this game. He played it cool at first, letting them think that they were in control. >> I want to see how much how much stuff do they have? Oh, let me I'm ask I'm asking him, man. I'll ask you questions. I have before I ask you any questions, I have to read you your rights. So, I'm not asking y'all any questions yet in regards to the incident. Let me ask them and then when I speak to you, I'll read you Miranda rights. Okay? That's just how the law works cuz I got to give you the rights to understand what your rights are. Okay? >> Seven items. Seven items in total. Was it all clothing? >> There was some cosmetics. >> Okay, gotcha. >> Cuz that was what Sam was getting right now. The receipt almost. >> Where do y'all live? Y'all live together? >> No. >> Where do you live? >> Um, >> what's the address you're at right now? >> You don't know your current address? >> I can check it, but I don't. >> You might want to check. Are you visiting or you live here in the city? I'm living here. >> You You've been living here. You're not visiting. >> Got you. >> Um I'm going to go look up the criminal history and stuff like that. Y'all have the written statement on my channel? >> Got you. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Go ahead. I know you type it up and whatnot. So, go ahead. Start typing it up. You can you can go. >> Um >> So, can you explain to me what happened tonight? >> Okay. So yes, I was trying to take that with you and I was in the back. I know. >> So you tried to walk off the doors without paying? >> Yes, sir. >> And did you do that intentionally? You meant to do that? >> So you wanted to steal the items, correct? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay, I got you. >> I regret this. >> Okay, that's fine. You pay That's fine. I'm just more so worried about the stuff that you walked out of the store with. >> Yeah. Okay. Oh, watch me. She She had nothing to do with it. She was watching. Okay. >> So, all this was your idea. This was not her idea at all. >> Yeah, that's right. All right. Um, >> do you want to say anything else? >> Yeah. I want to do that again. >> You want to do it again? >> Well, I hope not. All right, sister. >> I do. So, I understand everything I was saying. All right. So, first, can you explain to me what happened? >> Um, tell me what you said. >> Well, we were just lying and then he grabbed the clothes. I just woke up. I had a jacket on my hand >> and I wasn't here before. But honestly, since his mom was calling us, I literally I couldn't hear from how I rushed my bag. >> Yeah. >> And I completely forgot that was like >> Okay. So, >> you were just trying stuff. >> Okay. Did you know he was stealing? >> You did know he was stealing. So, you had knowledge that he wanted to walk out of the store with those products without paying for them. Correct. >> Gota. And then you while you were walking out, you also had the jacket in your hand as well, correct? >> Yeah. But I forgot. >> You forgot about it? >> Yeah, cuz we were trying stuff on. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, did you realize that you had it on you after they stopped you? >> They stopped us right there. It was right there. Like he was on the phone. We were talking and then he stopped us right there. >> I mean, I saw the video. He stopped you after you passed a bunch of sales. >> Oh, the the Yeah, cuz we were talking on the phone. But I don't know. I But we were on the phone the whole time. >> But you knew he wanted to steal those items, right? You knew he wanted to steal all this. >> Still calm and collected, the officer made his move without breaking a sweat. Smooth, controlled, and ready to remind them that actions have consequences. >> So, I know this sucks, but at the end of the day, it's what the investigations come to. It's not a big, you know, it's a it's a hurdle right now and it sucks. >> But I won't lie to you, bro. I was the same way when I was your age. You know, I've been there. I've done that. So, I get where you're coming from, too, brother. All right. 710. Go ahead. Take a seat. 105 two time reference signal 63. Okay. One second. I'm going turn the car for you. [Laughter] That's fine. I understand. >> Okay. >> I understand. I did the same thing to my mom when I was young. So, I get where he's coming from. I know where you're coming from. So, I get it. Sucks. But at the end of the day, unfortunately, it did happen. Now, if Walmart went didn't want to prosecute, they would have just trespass cops and that's it. But at the end of the day, it's what Walmart wants to do. I'm just here to work. That's all right. >> I understand. Thank you. >> Give me one second. I'll be right back. Now it was the female suspect's turn. The one dripping with arrogance and attitude. The officer moved to bring her in, but she had a few tricks up her sleeve. Convinced that she could talk or wiggle her way out of it. You call your parents. Go ahead. Turn around. There was one in your possession. Okay. But here's the thing. I'll tell you. You had knowledge that he came in here. Give me a second. You're not letting me talk. >> Let me talk. Let me talk. >> I'll let you talk again. >> With all this freaking stuff that was going on, how am I supposed to know that? He was thinking all that. >> You You told me that you knew he was trying to stuff. I literally don't want to get in trouble. >> Okay. >> The So why are you taking me? >> Okay. I'm taking >> I already told you I didn't know the that I had that in my possession cuz I was on the phone. >> Okay. You want to talk? >> He he caught me in. So, you could have told me. Okay. Well, here's the deal. Okay. Like I said, you came out with one in your position. I know. Give me one second. If I paid for >> I'm done talking with you. All right. No. >> Okay. I just want to wait for my mom. I want to wait till your mom. Okay. Turn around. Don't resist. Don't resist. Okay. We give it to her right now. Okay. But don't resist. All right. You're going to you're going to get an extra charge if you do. I give it, sir. You good? >> Because you stole. Okay. Here's her stuff right here. I can tell you what happened here. >> I'm going put her in the car and then I'll tell you can I ask you? Yeah. Give me one second. Okay. Put you in the car. All right. I'm going to ask y'all right now. Y'all have anything in your pockets that if I look at it later, it's going to be a problem. Do you? Okay. I just want to make sure. I just want to make sure everything's emptied out. You give it to your parents. That's all. Thank you. >> They would be in the same place. >> They should. >> They should. >> I don't know. Okay. Where does she live? I don't know exactly where they go. I just know they'll be in the jail part. So, that's all I know. Okay. >> But if anything, when she she's going to be >> Well, I don't know where she's going. Can they put us together? Cuz she said she >> says she comes from where? >> No. No. >> They can't. They can't put y'all together in the cell. That's not how that work. I know. I get it. But we have to separate female from male in the general. >> I mean, so you it's going to be a clear wall between y'all. So, I mean, you can still see each other, but it's not like you're going to be in a closed area or nothing like that. Okay. I know. But I got a question. Okay. I'm going to jail for this, right? So, it's for retail stuff. >> So, what it is is that you're going to go to jail for now. I'm going to file your paperwork for you. Okay? Once I file it in the morning, you'll have to go to first appearance to see a judge. Okay? When you see the judge, he's just going to talk to you about the incident. He's going to read the probable cause. Okay? And then after that, since this is your first offense and you have no priors, what will happen most likely is they'll just say, "Hey, you're free to go for now." However, you'll have future court dates that you have to respond to. So that way, you can either they either find that you're convicted of the retail effect or they find that, hey, you know, it's a no bill or we're not going to pursue or something like that cuz Walmart can say 5 days down the line, hey, we no longer want to pursue charges and that's it. The only reason I'm arresting you is because Walmart wants to prosecute and pursue charges. I'm not doing it cuz I want to. I'm doing it because that's what they want and I have to go by what the people are the customer so it makes sense for me. >> Reality started to sink in and the weight of his actions hit hard. All he could think about now was how one dumb decision might have just sunk his lifelong dream for good. >> Um I should go to Navy. >> So that'll depend on them. I'm not sure. Okay. Whe whether I whether I physically arrested you or gave you a notice to appear, this is still going to come up on the record. Whether you get convicted or not is going to depend on how the case goes. >> Okay? So, I can't entirely tell you what the Navy looks for. Okay? >> She I mean, she can go, but they're not going to be ready. Okay. Okay. I love you. We're going to go start moving. Okay. No problem. >> In the end, they were charged with petite theft. This duo might have been full of confidence while walking into Walmart. But in the case of this 21-year-old, she had confidence in her little sisters when she sent them to a Target to execute her perfect shoplifting plan. Walked out of the store with a shopping cart with no intention to pay. Do you know how much stuff you guys took? $1,185 worth of stuff. put it in your car past all final points of sale with your two minor sisters. On June the 24th, 2023 in Florida, officers responded to a call from a local Target after two teenagers were caught trying to swipe thousands of dollars worth of merchandise. However, this wasn't your average petty theft. Witnesses stated that it seemed that the kids were taking orders from an adult while shopping, pushing a cart overflowing with stolen goods. And get this, it was their third time hitting the same store in just one week. This time they weren't letting them off that easily. >> Need y'all step to the back of the car for me. >> 54. Clean up against the car. >> You want to tell me what y'all just did? Come clean now. We got you on video. Boom. Back to you. >> Yep. [Music] Uh, let's put her on the other side. My jacket's there. Let me have that purse. You got anything in here? >> Um, hold on. I'll take it off right now. >> Poke me, stick me, hurt me. Any weapons? Any >> I don't I don't mind. >> I don't care. Did I Did you answer my question? Okay. >> What? What did she say? >> She's a minor. >> It doesn't matter. >> Yeah. He just stole. Doesn't >> matter. Mhm. >> Oh, stuck in her hair. >> There we go. My location. Got a camera on him. Look at him. Understand? >> What's this? >> I don't know. >> You don't know? It's really a shame you're so young doing this. >> Anything else on you that I should know about? See in the vehicle? Watch your head. >> Information from that one. We'll work on this one. >> Hey, do they need that stuff before we can get the itemized? >> I'm going to be taking her with me if mom's coming. I I'll have the minor. >> Can you just walk over there and I'll hang out with your car? Yeah. >> Just leave the windows down and it unlocked, please. >> The back window. >> Thank you. Hey. Hey. Hold on. >> I think so. >> I'll let you push this in. >> It's going to be felony. I'll do it. All >> right. Hey. >> After getting the kids in custody and recovering the stolen merchandise, one of the officers headed to the store's loss prevention office to get the complete evidence of their detailed scheme. It turned out that the stolen goods added up to a staggering $5,000 across their three visits that week. While the officer gathered the final numbers, their mother walked in ready to bail her kids out and smooth things over after they pulled off what looked like a mini crime ring. But would the minor card set these kids loose? >> Hello, Thomas. >> They're on that one. She's uh we have one in this car and the other in the other car. So, um we're getting video right now, but they walked out with two a giant shopping cart full of stuff. Not paying for it. Just walked right out with it. >> With what? a giant shopping cart full of a lot of stuff from Target without paying for it and start loading this car up when we >> She's being arrested. >> Okay. >> For shoplifting and contributing to the delinquency of two minors. >> Okay. >> Um the 15year-old's in here and the 12-year-old is in here. I don't know which one you want to talk to first or if you want to talk up there. What is it you want to do? Essentially, here's here's probably what the way we're going to take this. They're going to be issued NTA and be released to you. So, they're going to have maybe a court date down the line where they have to answer for what they did, >> right? >> And they may get put in like a diversion program or something like that. I'm not sure that that'll be up to the court to decide. >> I'm sorry. >> Is this your vehicle? It >> is. Okay. >> I'm sorry. >> You know, it's all right. >> I'm just getting well, so I don't need to be out in the rain. >> I understand. >> Go ahead. >> I'm just ma'am. >> Yes, ma'am. Um, are you familiar with the NTA process here county? >> Okay. >> Um, so with our NTA, essentially what has to happen is they have to admit to what they did. There'll be a small thing written piece of paper. They have to sign it and you have to sign it and it's just a signing saying, "Hey, whatever the court decides, we're going to show up to it and we're going to accept what what happened." >> Um, have they ever been arrested previously for anything like this that you're aware of? Have either of them ever been arrested ever? >> No. >> Okay. So, maybe hopefully this is a wakeup call. Don't hang around with the wrong people and don't do this type of stuff because eventually, >> just so you know, Target says they've been here multiple times, stole multiple times. >> Oh, really? >> So, I mean, obviously, we can't without their video the other time, but they've recognized them from stealing before. So, it's happened more than once. So, as a parent, I would want to know as well. Yeah, cuz when they come here on the weekends, they I don't come, >> you know, like they're still targeting little stuff. But yeah, >> permission to talk to your daughters, ma'am, >> about the incident? Yes, ma'am. I'm asking you if I have permission. Okay. Thank you. >> I don't want to talk to anybody. >> Huh? >> I mean, like, I don't want to talk to my 15-year-old right now. I don't want to talk to my >> You don't have to talk to anybody. I'm just asking if I have permission to speak with them. >> You do. >> So, you fully understand the Miranda warning and have no questions about it. Correct. >> All right. and you want to talk to me, so we're good. Um, so who drove here today? >> I did. >> You did? Whose idea was it to come to Target today? >> Nobody's really. >> You guys didn't have plans to come here. >> So, how did you end up at Target? >> We went to the Circle K down the street >> and we was going to go to McDonald's and then we just came here. >> You just came to Target? Okay. Do you have a job? Have you had a job before? >> Yeah. >> When's the last time you had a job? >> Um, last year in like December. >> Last December. How about Where did you work? >> Boston Wher. >> Boston Whaler. >> The boat company. >> Yep. Mhm. What did you do there? >> I did um lamination. >> Lamination. Was this in last year in uh this past last Christmas or the Christmas before? This past Christmas. >> This past Christmas. How long did you work there? >> For about 6 months. >> About 6 months. >> Okay. So, you got work for about 6 months then. Got it. And you guys ended up at Target. How old's your sister? Your both of them? >> 12 and 15. >> 12 and 15. Okay. So, they're 12 and 15 years old. >> You know, they're both minors. The officer wasn't rushing anything. He was taking his sweet time, making sure the message landed loud and clear. This wasn't just about stolen goods anymore. It was about making sure she learned a lesson she'd never forget. Can >> you guys go inside Target? You could have load a shopping cart up, right? Not me. But then >> you didn't put one item in that shopping cart. >> I put some items in. >> You put some of those items in. Okay. >> Did you pay for the items when you left? Did your sister pay for the items when she left? Either of them. >> I don't think so. >> When you went in and you were pulling items off the shelf, did you plan on paying for those items? >> You did. So, you went to the checkout and went to checkout and scan those items in or did you walk directly out of the store with a shopping cart? >> I didn't have the shopping cart. >> Who did one of my sisters? >> Which one? The one in that. >> Which one? I told you >> walked out of the store with a shopping cart with no intention to pay. Do you know how much stuff you guys took? $1,185 worth of stuff. You know what that is? That's felony shoplifting. You know what else? This isn't the first time you guys have done this here cuz we have video of it other times. And your sister told me you guys have done it more than one time. So, you entered a store with no intention to pay and left with almost $1,200 worth of merchandise. Put it in your car past all final points of sale with your two minor sisters as your accompllices. How does that sound? Horrible, right? Really bad. One of them 12 years old. Both of them said it was your idea to come here today. >> That's not true. >> Cuz both of them said it. I don't know why they would tell me that. All right. So, you and your sister are going to be placed under arrest for felony shoplifting. You're also going to be additionally charged with contributing to the delinquency of two minors. All three of you are being trespassed from Target and if you return, you will be arrested. Do you understand? Do you have any questions? >> No. >> Do you want this window rolled down? You want it up? Okay. In the end, the whole crew was slapped with felony shoplifting charges and trespassed from Target. But the 21-year-old mastermind didn't walk away with just that. She also got hit with an extra charge for contributing to the delinquency of two miners. Just like the 21-year-old and her sisters, these two shoplifterss went on a full-blown shoplifting spree. Confident and convinced that they were unstoppable right before receiving a humbling knock that they never saw coming. >> I think merchandise though, sir. These cups are uncomfortable. Last time I was in handcuffs, I was like 18. >> Oh my god. Oh, hell no. [ __ ] Yo, that's not that's not cool, bro. Hell no. That's not cool at all. >> I'm not getting no presents this year. I've been a naughty girl. >> On November the 3rd, 2023, police officers rushed to a mall in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In response to a 911 call reporting an ongoing shoplifting spree. Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement officers swiftly apprehended two suspects. >> Why? I don't think anything. >> Tell her we got her. You got one detective. >> We got to go away. We got the female behind the dumpster. J's not going to jail. >> Probably. >> Why? I take off watching merchandise though, sir. >> Yeah, I'm not going to be able to. >> That's all right. You're not going to be able to be cuffed here. It's not going to go. You go ahead down. >> You guys, did I go away? Hey, do you have anything on you? That's >> No, sorry. No, sir. >> The guy that got away. >> The guy's in custody. Yeah, we're we're good. >> Yeah, I was in good. We have the other one in custody. >> You guys want to go to jail? >> Ain't it? >> No, you do have a warrant. >> Do I? >> Okay, we're going to confirm on that. >> I have a warrant. Just we'll figure that out. You sure? >> Yeah, we'll figure it out. >> Uh, let me check my cover, dude. So, I just I have no words at all. >> Stop. If you run, you will go to jail, though. >> No, no. I got saucers over here. My arm I just got my arm. >> Don't Don't resist either cuz you're going to get slammed to the ground. >> If I ar >> Okay, we're going to get you cuffs. But if you get crazy with us, you're going to get dumped. >> Yeah. Get in the back. I can't. You better. >> Yeah. >> Have a seat. >> Joe. >> Well, we're talking right now. >> Okay. >> But I need to read you something first. Okay. Have you ever had your >> my red >> random warnings read? >> Have you? >> Yes, I have my reds. You have a head. Okay. So, you're familiar with all that? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Oh my god, my arm is very sweating so bad and I'm not going to jail, sir. Please just tell me. >> Well, you don't know yet. That's what we got to talk to you first. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. So, I need to read you something. It's very important. Okay. Okay. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in the court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and I'm present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be represented to uh represent you before any question. You can decide any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. >> Do you understand what I've explained to you? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, I want to talk to you about what just happened in Sephora. Okay. >> All right. Can we do that? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. What's going on? >> We were just doing testers. Perfume testers. >> You're what? >> We're stealing perfume testers. >> You were stealing perfume testers? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> That's all they took from We don't They don't Now have that apartment. Not even the pool all the way. >> Okay. Um you and this other gentleman were okay. What's his name? >> I um he's her friend. More friend, but I know my eight as Isa. >> Okay. You know these guys? >> I know her. >> Okay. So, were you taking them and putting them in his bag or what? >> I had them I had them I had I literally had them in my hand. >> You had them in your hand as you were walking out? >> Some of them fell. They dropped on the floor over there. I heard them crack >> over there >> when I was running. I heard them crack like they were falling. I cuz I had I had my my jacket. >> Okay. And um I took out my jacket and they fell on the floor. >> Okay, >> that's it though. Like there was to test. >> And did you guys come in here knowing that you're going to steal those or >> Okay. All right. I'll have some more questions for you in a second, but just go and stay in here. All right. >> Are we going to jail? >> I'm not going to put any cuffs on you right now, but if if you get squirly, then we're going to have to make it happen. Okay. >> But are we are we going to go to >> I don't know yet. Well, I'll come talk to you more here in a second. Okay. >> One just one quick question. it like I know no matter what it's bad we shouldn't take nothing but at least test I mean testers are still like like you know merchandise but it's worse right way if it was actual merch merchandise >> it's still store property they're probably going to trade it all the same but just give me a second I'll turn the AC on for you back here just don't get squirly okay >> okay >> we'll take your phone >> I'm getting arrested for what >> we'll talk about that in a second >> you're just being detained right now >> I don't want to Yeah. >> Is that good? >> Yeah, that's fine. That's fine. >> Hold on. I just want to lock them for you so they don't get >> What What's your ankle on this one here? >> I missed court. >> For what? >> Um >> What's the charges? >> Up charges. Um from like 2018. It was like uh manufacturing, distributing this video. >> Video of a minor. >> True. >> Yeah. When I was 18. >> Okay. Uh, we'll go ahead and do you know your probation pearl officer's name? >> Um, yeah. >> Okay. >> Jeff >> Jeff just Jeff came. Yeah. >> Okay. And you staying up to date on everything? >> Yeah. Yeah. Of course. >> Yeah. You want to go ahead and I can just have her stay here. >> My unit. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Is it better to cut through tomorrow? >> Yeah. Let's go and have a seat here for a second and then >> I don't want to sit down cuz I'm on my period and I don't want to bleed through my clothes. So, >> just stay next to this pole for me. Okay. >> After obtaining a statement from one of the women, the officers proceeded to gather an account from the other female involved about the events that had just transpired. >> All right. Anyways, where was your car between 2 and 3 yesterday? >> Cuz I know where it was. >> Let's go to the casino. Um, come here. >> All right. And then I >> just don't know what time. Like I said, I can't tell you time frames, but I can try to remember half of my day. I do a lot during my days. >> Well, you came to the mall at about 2:25 and you left about 2:32. [Music] So knowing what you know >> based on the period of time that you came and left because you know everything this girl's doing. And when she jumped in your car yesterday, you had to have looked over and been like, "That's a that's $3,000 worth of fragrances. What are you doing?" >> Honestly, I never ever looked in your bed. But him and her ran and jumped in your car. [Music] >> Yeah, you got video and photographs of your car and them stealing and getting into your car. >> Upon returning to the police station, both girls continued with their antics, displaying an apparent lack of concern despite being in so much trouble already. >> So So guys, but they're just testers though. Like there's like they're probably not >> That's not what you're going to be arrested for. You're not You're getting arrested for all the other stuff that you just stole. They have a case against you. >> But what what other stuff I've been taking? >> $20,000 worth of Sephora. >> I just been taking testers though. They're just tested. I just So what have we been charged with? >> So what's our charge that I'm getting? >> So the charging uh sergeant is going to come in and tell you guys exactly. I don't want to say exactly >> until he knows. Okay. >> Well, I think you can do >> Shouldn't it be just like chocolate? No, because we do it multiple times out of a careerong. >> So, you're getting conspiracy contributing to the del delinquency of a minor cuz he's >> Oh my god. No. Hell no. No. That's not That's not cool, bro. Hell no. That's not cool at all. That is not cool at all, you guys. I didn't even know he was in there, bro. Here. We didn't even go in together. >> You want to chill? You want to chill out? >> Oh my god, my art. >> Why would you do that? Why would you do that to yourself? I have no idea why you >> guys like me and dance, yo. Like, I did not Oh my god. >> So, listen. You're You're on camera right now. Everything that you're acting at and doing right now is not going to happen. >> Get to the judge. >> Okay. >> It's just a charge. It's not >> No, you guys you guys are in jail. You guys don't know. You guys don't know my life. You guys don't know what I go through on a on a daily. You guys don't know. >> You guys don't know. You guys don't even care. Stop. It's just a charge. It's not a conviction. You still have to see a judge and freak out. >> I don't even know how long I'm going to be in jail for. >> You shouldn't even worry. I got a whole case, >> bro. Oh my god, bro. >> Testers, bro. Like, you guys don't have bigger to do than [ __ ] [ __ ] taking testers that probably already full. probably halfway full at that. People spraying them all the time like >> So you're saying that that's the only thing you ever take? >> That's all I go in there and get? Yes. That's all I go in there and get >> every day. >> Every day. I I don't go there every day. I I haven't got I got sh at all other than yesterday and today. >> By this point, one of the women tried to elicit sympathy by shedding tears, but her facade quickly crumbled, failing to sway the officers. >> I'm like, "What the bro? I can't, bro. I'm really sick. I can't do nothing in there, bro. Like, I'm I can't even shower. Do you get that? I can't even wet this. I can't even shower, bro. Like, [ __ ] [ __ ] bro. I felt it. I want to do it today. I don't want I want to go out. I want to do nothing. So [ __ ] about peer pressure, bro. >> I'm just, >> bro. At least I tell you now. >> They don't think they're back. >> They don't They don't give a They don't give a dog. Cops, remember, cops are your worst enemy. Cops don't give a [ __ ] Sheriff's especially. Sheriff's worse than APD and state. Sheriff don't give a [ __ ] And then you know what they tell me like like a [ __ ] ass person. Oh, why'd you run? Bro, you should attack Asa, dog. It was all I had to do. All I had to say was sheriff department and we would have stopped [ __ ] bull [ __ ] man, bro. >> Dude, listen. I'm facless. I get agree though. You're not facing dumb [ __ ] >> But you know what my [ __ ] convictions are? >> You don't you don't worse than chocolate. >> You don't have no convictions, stupid. >> Your indictment doesn't show up your car, right? >> Why are you so >> Your indictment is off. >> You guys got jokes. >> I know, huh? >> I know you guys have so much jokes, huh? I give some jokes, too. Huh? When I start joking, don't get me. >> Oh god. Y'all want to make some jokes? I make some jokes, too. >> First of all, that man go so damn perfect. Y'all perfect. >> Do you have coffee? >> Is it really? >> Yeah. >> A >> You want to like >> fix your hair or anything? I'm almost done. >> Use your strong arm. >> Swear to God. I >> swear to God. >> Does it hurt? >> I ain't. >> Well, earlier it was earlier was I tried to attack the officer earlier. Remember, >> let me see you sit up straight for me. There you go. Ready? Oh, you're a sheriff. You don't have to do his phone. You >> don't make any money around here. >> I know. I know. >> Oh, [ __ ] >> Can you pick them up? >> AP makes more than straps. Huh? >> Got my straps. >> No, but you can. >> No, that's not appropriate. >> Why is it? >> Because I'm a male and she's a female, >> bro. I don't know which one of these guys just picked up my straps a minute ago. >> But you guys are cops, >> huh? >> Okay. So, when my titties fall out, it's y'all's It's y'all's fault. When my titties fall out, it's y'all's fault. >> Oh my god. >> I'm so sorry. >> Is that thing infected? >> I have no nerves. Like they when they when they um >> Yeah. Why did you say I'll tell you later or something like that? >> Just cuz I remember you >> from what? >> Arresting you before. >> From where? >> From here in Albuquerque. >> From what? >> I don't remember. >> It was a while ago. >> Naughty things. >> Naughty things. Naughty things. >> I remember your face. >> I'm not getting no presents this year cuz I've been a naughty girl. >> I think so. Maybe. Let me see you. >> Look. >> Beautiful disaster. >> Look at the camera. >> Yo, us together. You guys, us together is a bad idea. >> Yeah. >> In the end, they were both taken to jail and charged with grand theft. Next is the case of a 19-year-old crybaby who thought a few tears would be her get out of jail free card. Caught red-handed shoplifting. She quickly flipped from bold to falling, hoping the waterworks would erase the consequences. Please, my mom. >> On August the 16th, 2023, officers of the Roswell Police Department were alerted to an incident of a 19-year-old female who left a store without paying for the merchandise. The officers met her in the parking lot and detained her. But what ensued afterward was both annoying and interesting at the same time. >> Where you going? >> Hang on. >> Okay. Let go. Let go. >> Come this way. >> Let go. >> Come this way. >> Please. No. Please let go. Why? Why? You my arm. Why? >> I'm not hurting you. >> No. Please. Gosh, please. >> Put your hands behind your back. [Applause] [Music] >> Please, I want to go. >> No. Don't put him too tight, please. [Music] Owie. Owie. [Music] I don't know what's going on. [Music] >> Please tell me what's going on. >> In a very surprising twist, the grown-up woman, who was later identified as Cheryl, broke down and begun to cry like a baby. And this was where the story got even more interesting. >> I'm scared. Please my mommy. >> Please tell me what's going on. >> You're under arrest for shoplifting. What are you crying for? Cuz I'm scared. >> Are you crying cuz you got caught? >> No, because I know I didn't. >> I don't know what you just said. >> No, I shouldn't. >> Then why'd you do it? >> I don't know. >> It's not a very good reason, is it? >> I know. I know. I'm sorry. >> I know. >> Come this way. >> Where? >> Inside. Calm down. >> You're fine. We're not going to hurt you. >> I want to go over. >> Just don't pick me up.
