When I was working patrol, I was that guy. If there was a DUI anywhere, I wanted it. Um, now that I'm on the traffic unit, if there's someone just, you know, a regular patrol deputy and they stop someone who's impaired, I have no problem going to the scene, jumping in, taking over the investigation. It lets the patrol guys get back to doing what they need to do to serve the citizens in that manner, and then I can take over the investigation. It's good for the traffic unit. It's good for the numbers. Um, and it's it's it's what I do. So, it's kind of playing to my strong side.
